Emma Frost It would be somewhat late in the evening, and the main dining area of the restaurant would be rather filled. Still, there were open areas. Emma Frost had taken upon one of these open areas and also made somewhat of apoint by having every table in the perimeter of her dining space emptied by whatever methods. A light showing of power by the former White Queen of the Club. Something simple done to showcase it. Emma taking a slow sip from a goblet of wine in relaxation.
Ella Normandy The Public House is not her usual haunt. Not by a long shot. But, through the doors walks the unmistakable -- and unforgettable -- figure of Vampirella. Her cloak billowing in the air behind her, and her heels clicking along the floor as she walks to the bar, she gets more than a few passing glances. She ignores most of them. Some -- those unlucky few -- get a gaze like a tiger on the prowl for it's next meal, and a near feral, almost fang filled smile.

When she arrives at the bar she looks intently at the wall of bottles behind the bartender, and orders for herself a Bloody Mary -- as she adds "heavy on the blood" to the bartender, who gives her a well practiced patronizing smile before he goes about making the drink -- and then turns to survey the room. Emma's cordon of tables catches her attention for a moment, but then her gaze moves on, as her eyes glide over the restaurant.
Oliver Queen Oliver Queen has clearly been in the restaurant for some time, judging by the way his tie has become undone, hanging its length around the neck of his crisp white shirt, and his suit jacket is not only off but draped on the back of a chair half-forgotten. He's clearly been at the wine a little bit, although not so much as to be incapacitated, just a light-hearted gleam in his eye.

Earlier, he had a few models and the like sharing the table with him, but he's sent them home for the night, apparently eschewing their company for his own, at least for now as he sighs to himself and then raises a glass in Emma's direction, giving a salute, one Queen to another.
Satana      Satana is in a mood, and not a good one. She's hungry, cranky, and didn't find anyone she wanted to eat, so she's back here where at least the hot wings are satisfying. One kind of hunger can be sated. She's not as well-coiffed as she usually is, her hair a bit wilder than normal, jacket needing to be straightened, her stomach rumbling. She slides right up to the bar and orders a very sugary, syruppy drink, and an order of meat, and then starts to take in her surroundings more carefully.
Hair is touched up with her fingers and she takes a slow sip of her beverage, crimson eyes taking in food, food, more food, and a few women that look intriguing. Mostly the lady with all the space, and the lady at the bar. "Looking for a bite to eat?" she asks of the vampiric woman. "I don't mind sharing."
Emma Frost Emma Frost would take a moment to inspect Oliver, ealuating him and looking him up and down, "Mister Queen." Emma would go to casually purr at the man that would be King, raising her glass up and to him. Any further sort of comment would be cut off as that scent of.. Brimstone that would catch her. Emma would tense, and her eyes would sweep about and.. There was no sign of that slinky damned -thing- of darkness coming out from the void. NO sign of Selene.. For better. Emma would turn her attention over to the demoness and the vampiress.
Ella Normandy When her drink arrives Ella takes a sip of it, and mostly masks the disappointment on her face at the bartender not following her instructions. Either way, she flips a couple of bills onto the bar top to pay the exorbitant prices this establishment charges for drinks, before her attention is caught by the arrival of Satana next to her. She turns, and for a long moment appraises the woman that has sat nearby.

Her eyes half lid at the invitation, and she says quietly, "The fare seems a little..paltry, but, I would be happy to join you." There is a demure flick of her eyes downwards, as if to suggest some sort of submission to the other woman, before she holds out her hand and says, "Ella Normandy. Yourself?"
Oliver Queen Oliver Queen pushes upfrom his seat and moves to approach Emma a bit, watching as her attention is drawn towards the newcomers. "Miss Frost. Always good to see you around the club," he says. Not that Ollie himself is a frequent attendee, at least not as much as he used to be. Not that he's settled down, just that perhaps he's become more discreet. At least, that's what the rumors say.

"Oliver Queen," he says to Ella as he comes close enough, offering his hand, "Seems like the lone knight in a sea of ladies this evening."
Satana      "Oh, I don't know, I've seen a few delicious morsels walking around," the succubus replies. She offers her hand in return, giving a confident handshake, but takes her time in releasing. She slides her fingers softly along Ella's palm before she fully retracts her grip. "Ana, for the moment, is fine. I've been away for a little while, still getting by bearings. If you eat animal meat and like spice, the wings are wonderful, but I get what you mean. I might need something more substantial after this." This is emphasized by her taking in another sip of her drink, which seems to be almost glowingly pink and very, very alcoholic.
"Do we know why that one table is so isolated?" she asks of the other creature of the night, smiling over at Emma. "Always hard for me to resist pushing boundaries when I see them set up just so. Do we think she'll eat that man alive?" she asks as her grin grows.
Emma Frost The discussion of 'morsels' would for Emma Frost at least give a bit further of an identifier as to what the ladies of the night were. She would raise her glass over to them in invitation, while glancing to Oliver, "Another way to put it if you would prefer, Mister Queen, is that you are the chum scattered out admist the sea to attract the sharks. And they do look like they bite."
Ella Normandy It would be impolite to comment on 'that man' as he's just come up and inserted himself into the conversation she is having with Satana, but Ella smiles just a little bit to Satana and murmurs something just under her breath. She then straightens up and takes Mr. Queen's hand and says, "The last knight I've heard of in a sea drowned....heavy armor and all," as she makes a small frown at the thought. She then adds, "It is a pleasure to meet you though Mr. Queen, is that right? The one who owns all those fancy businesses? It would be a shame if you drowned."

She glances sidelong at Satana, and then says in response to her, "Meat and spice sound fine. Especially if one can rip the meat right off the bone. That is such an enjoyable sensation. Don't you think, Ana?" Emma's greeting is not lost, but she seems a little surprised by the greeting from the woman who had gated herself off earlier.
Tabitha Smith Sometimes the time of day or night gets fuzzy for Tabitha Smith the erstwhile X-Trainee known as Boom-Boom to company that actually likes her. Time is an illusion after all and lunch times doubly so since it's late evening and probablt time for dinner. But food is often put on the way side for drinking and partying.

The Hellfire Clubs public front is probably not the best idea but Tabby is passing, she's been partying if the white shoulderless minidress with a pink stripe runs down the front. a similar pink stripe echoes on the back and up past the shiny green leather jacket on her shoulders in a jean jacket style. Pink ankle boots with a little heel and some black woolen stockings keep her legs warm as theyu disappear mid thigh under the hem and a little black chokert that looks more like a spiky collar cinces her neck with a little pendant in the shape of an explosion dangles from it.

Slipping past the door and paying the cover charge, the woman looks for the bar and the restauraunt. A curious look while she ponders food options and how much money she can drop versus how long it will last in the club. She hasn't even considered being carded or how her fake ID might go when she might be on a watch list for security.
Oliver Queen Oliver Queen smiles broadly, "I've never been afraid of a few bites, Miss Frost. And you should always be careful when you bite down on bait - you never know where the hook might be," he says with a wink as he takes another sip of his drink, having switched from wine to a splash of bourbon over rocks.

Ollie accepts Ella's hand and chuckles, "Sounds like he didn't pay much attention to his environment. Always a dangerous move. Always have an exit strategy if things get rough," he says.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would go to take a sip of her drink over and look on in amusement, "Well, then you have to accept the risks that come with it." She would note over to the vampires and the succubus. "And I'm sure that the two of them would.. Waste not, want not." she would give a beckoning wave to the two and then glance over at Tabitha with a sigh. Before curiousity finally getting the better of her and moving to invite her over as well with a wave.
Satana      Mister Queen might have put himself in quite the position. Does every man want to be such seen as a snack by powerful creatures? Depends on his sense of personal safety. She keeps her eyes on him as she replies to Ella, "Oh yes. quite the sensation, Ella. We must be good stewards of nature." She's smug, seemingly very content with herself at this moment.
Satana gives a little wave towards Emma as well, slinking ever closer. Not a big fan of personal space. "Is this the cool kid table? Are we allowed to sit?" she asks, before taking a seat without awaiting a reply. The sound of her voice does travel oddly, a lot of people in the room don't seem to notice it.
Ella Normandy "He was drunk and slipped into the Bosphorous. Poor Frederick." Ella says, placing a hand on her chest for a moment and looking down, to sigh quietly. She then notices the latest arrival, and lets her gaze travel over the other woman's figure for a few moments, before back to the group nearer her. She looks to Satana and chuckles, before she scoots over a little bit -- a little closer to Satana -- as the new arrival is beckoned. She leans in and murmurs something in the woman's ear, eyes affixed to Oliver like a large cat looking at a small mouse.
Tabitha Smith There's a wave and a hand of Emma calling the blonde girl over. Invitation accepted as the woman moves alongg the floor. Some how she manages to order a mimosa and receive it on the space of the the yonger mutant woman's swaying walk. It's a slow pace but it seems more like she's not as experienced wearing heels as one might expect or she's just buzzed that its a wobble. sipping her drink slowly to enjoy the orange fizzy mix Emma and the others get a smile.

"Hi, not barging in am I Emma? I'm Tabitha!" she offers to the growing group including Oliver, Ella, Satana, and now herself. The girl not seeming to mind any eyes on her. She is unfamiliar to a few of them so making sure they knopw she's not a danger os probably ideal as she stands with a tilty in her hips and both hands idly holding her glass together.
Oliver Queen Oliver Queen has been sized up by predatory women since he was a teenager being dragged to country club parties by his parents. Of course, then, it was usually the idea of marrying him off to some homely daughter or another in the hopes of securing a future inheritance for presumptive heirs. It was all very medieval and Ollie never liked it much, although he may have taken advantage of it a time or two during the days when he was a little less ethical than he is now.

Of course, of all of his bad behaviors, his history with women is perhaps the one bad habit that he's had the hardest time shaking. He might be in over his head here and he isn't likely to realize it. Tabitha seems a bit young for him, though, so he just gives the girl a polite smile and resists the paternal urge to have someone check her ID. No need to be a square.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would glance at Tabitha, "Ms. Smith, this establishment has standards. While you are present here you will be expected to adhere to them for dignity, presentation, and behavior. If you cannot maintain them then you wil lbe escorted out of the premises. So please do remember that and take it into account." Going to just look between Ella and Satana. Oh.. Oliver was almost in over his head here. And Emma would just smile over.. As if flashing her own metaphorical teeth.
"And Mister Queen, please do introduce yourself to the room."
Satana      Satana gets cozy in her seat. She gives Tabitha a nod, always delighted to have more women around. Particularly the one she's nearly bumping hips with. She whispers back to the dark-haired woman, then goes back to being perfectly polite. Attentive, even. "Yes, poor Frederick indeed. I wonder if he even knew how deep the water was."
Ella Normandy An expectant gaze comes from Ella to Oliver as he's told to introduce himself to the bevy of women he has around him. She leans back a little in her seat, before she glances sidelong at Satana, and then back to Emma as she speaks to some subordinate of hers. It seems to be her club after all.
Oliver Queen Okay, maybe he IS getting a little nervous at this point. He'd straighten his tie if he hadn't already undone it. He's probably as cool a customer as you'll find outside of Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark, his confidence sky high, but he was definitely outnumbered and not in the normal way. He has enough sense to know he's not in control of this particular situation, not in the way he usually might be.

"Oliver Queen, at your service," he says. "Philanthropist, industrialist, all around rich guy. Not a genius like Tony Stark, just a guy who got born lucky," he says.
Tabitha Smith "Of course Ms Frost. I wouldn't want to be a problem for you at all!" Tabitha accepts the words of the White Queen. <<Polite company demands polite composure.>> she reassures the psychic via a little thought in her head. The others get smiles as pelasant and cheerful as she can manage though shhe does have a visible flush to her tone as the scent of alcohole mingles with a fruity bosy spray and the rest of the young woman. "Pleasure to meet you Mister Queen!" she offers cheerfully to match the smile that travels from the man to the three other women of only one she actually knows.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would just sit back and watch the dynamics, going to take a sip of her alcohol. "So does that make you Bruce Wayne?" She would inquire casually, moving to return her attention to the two women that were stalking the playboy.
Satana "Oh, at our service? Such a fun turn of phrase," Satana says. "But so lovely to meet another pillar of the community. Presumably. Do you think Mr. Wayne would feel lucky to be in your present position?" Hard to read that tone, but it sounds innocent enough. Outside of its context.
Ella Normandy "The rich one who does all those balls that keep getting shot up by the lunatics in Gotham?" Ella asks, before she finishes off her drink, and turns to put it back on the bar. She then returns her attention to the conversation, "I'm not so sure I should be in such dangerous company if that is what billionaires get up to." She then orders a second Bloody Mary.
Oliver Queen Oliver Queen feels the soft beep of an alert along his second phone, the one that Felicity uses to let him know of things that require his immediate attention. He sighs and reaches back to touch it, setting aside his glass.

"Much as I'd love to get to know you ladies better, I'm afraid it looks like there might be a business matter that might need my attention. I'll need to make a private call. If you'll all excuse me..."

He moves to walk off and then calls back over his shoulder, "And for the record, anything Bruce Wayne can do, I can do better!"
Tabitha Smith The mutant in white, pink, and green happily lets any teasing be done by the other women. When the billionare makes his exit, and Tabitha's blue eyes follow him out, they soon resume their bounciing back for forth other the women with her. The blonde smiling and finally chiming in. "Soo do all of those rich playboy types want to show each other up? Seems money doesn't change much in a man." she says softly enough to keep her volume to the group.
Satana      "And off he goes. Run, little rich boy. It's safer out there," the succubus giggles. "Mm, but sometimes nice to be in an arena free of them. Fun as they can be. So. Ladies. I've just gotten back into the city, I feel like I just haven't met all the billionaires. There's that one, Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark... did I miss any?"
Emma Frost Emma Frost would just watch as Oliver would scamper and depart. One normally didn't see a sense of self preservation in that type. Perhaps some sorts of instincts were left. Emma would shrug at Satana, "There's quite a few. The Club is the place to meet most of them. But you'll have to stand in line to take you rpound of flesh, literal or metaphorical."
Ella Normandy As Oliver leaves, some of the pretense of Ella drops away. She loses a bit of her ironic smile, and instead picks up one of the chicken wings that has arrived and -- for lack of a better term -- surgically devours it. This woman is good with her teeth it seems. She sets the denuded wing aside, and then turns her attention to Emma, sizing her up for a moment or two, before she asks bluntly, "So, how do you get a table here that is blocked off from anything else? I have to expect that costs a pretty penny."
Tabitha Smith "Ted Kord is a gentleman!" Comes another name offered up ny Boom-Boom. "If he can put up with me... that man is nothing but patient. No Emma before you think it. I tried, went nuts. Got kicked out. I'm trying to be better about that and he and I buried hatchets after that thing with the rescue." Tabitha says calmly between very small sips. "But thats one more name to the list of elibible bachelors out of my league."
Satana      "All those boys just keep getting into trouble? Unsurprising. Maybe they do need a good scare to get their heads on straight. There are bigger and badder things out there in the dark." Her following laugh is definitely evil, and she chases it with the remainder of her drink, picking up a wing afterwards to strip it bare. Just consuming that seems to relax her. She glances over to Tabitha, "Oh, I don't know. Sounds like a lot of people want to get those fellows. Unless you're just looking to skip to the inheritance portion."
Emma Frost Emma Frost would just look from Satana to Ella, "I'm sure that there are far bigger and badder things. THey don't even need to wait for the darkness. You two seem to have quite the appetite." She would muse and glance at Tabitha, "If you're looking to get a man down, it's helpful to have some sort of plan. Blackmail, extortion, mental conditioning.."
Ella Normandy Ella Normandy puts a hand over her chest and looks innocent at that accusation, "Me?" she asks, before she strips another wing...quickly. She settles back into her seat and then says, "I can't say any of these billionaires are all that interesting to be honest. Yes, they have money. And money lets me buy nice things. But what else do they have to offer? Gadgets? Pass. Brusque charm? Pass. Insatiable appetites? Possibly ok but only if they're what I'm interested in as well, and I've met shockingly few who are interested in what I am." She doesn't seem glum about that, but she takes her drink, and sucks down half of it before her next thought, "I just don't see the appeal."
Tabitha Smith Tabitha listens to the advice offered and seems to actyually be paying genuine attention. "I was with James off and on and currently off." she states and sounds a little sad. "I'm a bad girlfriend so I felt it was better to shut that whole thing down. He'll get over it and I'm sure every woman in New York is lining up soon as they hear that one is single." Tabby says encouraging to the other women, completely lacking any real knowledge of their supernatural status and powers.

Ella gets a grin and a nod. "Maybe it's time to take a break from men entirely. Pretty much where I am while I get my head together. Better chance of being shut down by women and it helps when I'm not immune to the wrong men as well. Safe spaces. That sort of thing. Even I don't need to get wild in a club all the time. I can do that anywhere." she says with another reassuring look to Emma that yes, Tabby is on her best behavior.
Satana      "It's more fun in darkness, admittedly. Gives it a spookier air," Satana says as she pulls several flats to the side of the wing basket, marking them for herself. "I agree with my companion. I'd say you can get on just fine with a millionaire as far as resources and they'll be less of a pain. Still probably weird, though. Better to make your own resources and then make them come to you. Your own power to best theirs," she says with a firm nod. "Or! You can always break them down and then build them back up," she says, a wing between two fingers. It's doomed.
Emma Frost Emma Frost would shrug, "One does what they have to do. And you probably don't wnat to know where he's been. They say something about fast food and what it does to the body." She would go to shrug over and gesture at the other women, "I would defer to their judgement. And indulge yourself in what you wish. If you wish to attain a greater status and social standing.. Then earn it. If it is that important to you to have, then you will pursue it and damn the consequences and have no regrets."
Ella Normandy "I think I would prefer to just continue my work with children. Seems easier, and safer in the long run for my sanity," Ella says as she shifts a little in her seat, and adjusts her bikini a bit -- this is the hard part of wearing this sort of costume in public -- before she settles back down and crosses her legs. "And..speaking of...perhaps I should be going before I am out too late and regret it in the morning."
Tabitha Smith "I've got a level of status I'm aiming for." X-man mission ready. "So pretty certain that is not going to happen if I define myself by the people I share a bed with. Sure maybe that's a status in itself." Tabby flashes a wink at Emma then smiles to Ella and Satana. "It was lovely to meet you as well!" the blonde says to the departing Ella. The others get a smile. "Gotta keep my eyes on my prize. Being the me I used to be. Ms Frost's warning is absolutely warrented." she states. "I don't like that me much but it's best I control when she comes out to play." she adds.
Satana      Ella's statement does raise Satana's brows a bit. "I did not expect that as your career for... reasons," she says, honesty leaking out of her. "But happy hunting. I'd love to give you my number to meet up another time and talk shop," she says, leaning back into her seat. She then nods at Tabitha, "Fair enough. People really get themselves into trouble trying to be what they aren't. But sometimes the trouble can be a lot of fun."
Emma Frost Emma Frost would shrug, "Be aware of your limitations and what you wish to acehive, and remember that it will always come with costs. But if you wish to achieve it, then those costs are worth the suffering they bring, if not the consequences." She would note.
Ella Normandy The surprise from Satana seems to amuse Ella to no end. She giggles. Then stands, and says, "It was a pleasure to meet you all, but, yes, I must be going. She straightens her cloak, and then stuffs her hands into the pockets of it, preparing to face the cold of the evening, "If you want to find me, I'll know and come calling." Whatever that means. And then, she click, click, clicks her way out of the pub.
Tabitha Smith There's a nod and Tabby's short and wildly spiked bangs bounce atop her head in front of her. "It's a dress for the job you want thing. But I've seen what the cost of what my goal can charge. I was on the island..." Genosha still hits her hard sometimes. "So I kinda want to help make sure what happened to us there is unlikely to happen again. I'd like to think that's a lofty aspiiration but it probably sounds a bit mopey and angst. But just throwing caution to the wind is nothing but trouble and there's a lot of that."
Satana      Satana leans back in her seat, shaking her head and exhaling... smoke? Wait, she's not even smoking. It smells a bit like cinnamon. "Goodness, she's something, isn't she?" She clears her throat. "Anyway. Yes. Tabitha. You are getting so many heaps of good advice and you got to watch a rich man fear for his life all in the same evening. Seems like things could go your way, what with focus. But I'm just talking," she says, waving her hand. "I'm sure Ms. Frost knows more about these sort of things than I do. My focus is in a different arena." One that's a lot hotter than this city, that's for sure.
Emma Frost And Emma Frost can get the gist of it. She's not bothering to explain that to Tabitha; the girl can figure it out for herself or not and come to her own conclusions. "As with everything it comes iwth possibilities, risks, and consquences. Fo both success and for failure. As with any goal or pursuit. There are simpler ways to get things one wnts after all."
Tabitha Smith There's a smile to Satana and a nod of agreement. "Wish I could half as well wear a costume as well as her or either of you!" Tabby admits in her seat as she works slowly on mimosa and a couple potato skins. "At least I know I have friends to help. And behaving is important to make sure they stay friends even when they don't always seem it on the surface." Tabby states and nods her hhead sagefully to the two women.
