Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    The Rec Room was always a fun place to hang out, plenty of room to stretch out and hang out and, on occasion, play with a pet.

    And there in the room is someone who hadn't been seen around the Roost for a good long while: Phoebe. Her hair is shorter, and currently not braided, in its natural fuzzy state with a new under-cut. She's wearing a camisole and a pair of shorts, in spite of the chill of winter hanging about, and is currently giving a game of tug with a white-and-red dog that is more legs than it is dog, stuck between 'adorable puppy' and 'actually a dog', all lebows and kneebaps and everything, who barks excitedly at Phoebe's smiling face.

    Phoebe herself has scars along the left arm, along with a burned-in mark. She smells like cigarettes, as if she hadn't had time to change after working at a bar -- and there was Thai take-out hanging out on the Tiki Bar.

    "Whosa my good boy? It is you, Idu!"

Roy Harper has posed:
Roy comes strolling into the rec room wearing shorts and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers T-shirt and bare feet. His hair is mussed like he just got up, and he's carrying a 2-liter bottle of Cherry Pepsi.

"Nope," Roy says. "I'm the best boy." He pads over to a chair, still yawning a little, and flops down. He unscrews the cap of the Pepsi bottle and flicks it behind him toward the trash. Rim shot. The shit doesn't even have the courtesy to look before he makes the perfect shot.

"Cool dog. How you been, Pheobs? Haven't seen you in forever."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen there is a breeze that tells Impulse is here, noise can be heard in the kitchen as the snacks are being replaced, and then into the room walks the speedster from the future. He Sees who is here and smiles "Hey Idu is here." He is happy to see Phoebe here as well, but tries not to pressure here. "Hey Phoebe, Roy how are you two doing?" He is munching from a bag with Korean writting on it.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    "Pretty sure I didn't have to work on getting you to be house-trained, Roy." Phoebe comments, "That was Green Arrow's job." She does straighten up though, reaching with a hair tie to bring some of her hair under control. It works... somewhat.

    Idu looks up at Bart and gives a wag, and bounces his way over in such a way only those leggy adolescent dogs can, with his ears not quite sure what to do so they flippity-flop back and forth still, the sight hound hounding Bart on site for one of his chips.

    "Hey, Bart." Phoebe gives a little wave. "Are those the squid or the hot kimchi chips?"

Roy Harper has posed:
Tipping the 2-liter bottle of Cherry Pepsi back, Roy takes a long, long draw of his 'coffee juice' easily emptying half the bottle before coming up for air with a satisfied gasp.

"I pee where I want!" he says with a goofy grin to Phoebe.

"Sup, Bart," Roy calls from the comfort of the chair he's on, legs over the arm. "I thought I felt your breeze whip through here."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will wipe his fingers off on his jeans and reaches into his pocket to pull out a plastic bag, with what looks like jerky in it. He looks over to Phoebe "Kimchi, figure might be to hot for him, but I got something he will like if it is ok." Yup, when he is watching the animals he may spoil them rotten but when the animal's person is there he asks permission.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    "As long as you clean up after yourself..." Phoebe rolls her eyes to ROy in a friendly manner, changing around how she's sitting on a beanbag chair. She gives Bart a grin.

    "The jerkey's fine, but yeah the kimchi chips are probably a little much for him -- don't need him breathing fire, yet." Phoebe explains as she scratches at her left arm.

Roy Harper has posed:
Roy lets out a sudden, reflexive yawn. "Oh man I don't wanna go patrol tonight."

He motions toward Phoebe's dog with a flick of his chin. "Dope dog. What's his deal? Is he like one of those greyhounds or somethin'?"

Another huge pull on the Cherry Pepsi bottle nearly empties it. He watches Bart interacting with the dog.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will offer the chips over to Phoebe, and wipes his other hand off on his jeans and then squats down to look at Idu. He pulls out one of the pieces of jerky and says "Sit." He will probably give it to him anyways but gotta try. He looks over to Roy. "Want to go shovel elephant poo for me, and me go on patrol for you?" He smirks a bit he does not mind his job even the poo shoveling

Gabby Kinney has posed:
"I've heard of vigilantes getting in deep shit but I don't think it's meant literally, Bart," Gabby pipes up as she enters the room with a soda in one hand and her phone in the other. Seeing everyone here she grins brightly at all gathered. "Oh, hey! Pheebs how you doing? I've barely seen you with everything going on. And hey Roy, good to see you too."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    "Good to be seen, Gabs." Phoebe replies casually. Nevermind that in a tank top and a tee, Phoebe's showing skin -- which Phoene usually never does. She leans back in her beanbag chair.

    "Idu is a Tesem. The Hounds of Khemet." Phoebe replies with a small smile, and as Idu sits all nice and pretty before Bart even finishes the word, his ears swing up, hearing his name.

    "... Zatanna and I found him when we went to seal my home village from outsiders wandering in... that still sounds so weird to say."

Roy Harper has posed:
Roy listens to Phoebe with a look of bewilderment on his features. "Phoebs, I didn't understand about half the words in that explanation but that is one seriously dope dog." He laughs a bit.

He drains the last of the Cherry Pepsi from his 2-liter bottle and a compulsory belch escape his lips. "Ooops, my bad." Then he grins when he sees Gabby. "Hey, Gabs. You come to watch the Phoebe show?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will feed the pup once he has set, and ruffles his fur around his ears. He looks over to Gabby. "Hey there, just restocked the snacks in the pantry." He tells her. Looking over to Phoebe. "Seems his training has been going really well."

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney looks away from her phone entirely at Phoebe's returned greeting. For a moment she regards the girl, eyes narrowing thoughtfully. This wasn't like her at all. Lounging around in such revealing clothing. Tattoos? She gives her fellow Outsider a once-over before approaching purposefully.

Only to throw her arms wide as she dips down hugging Phoebe from the side. "And we're so happy you came back from your old home we'd miss you if you didn't! Also thank you for bringing us a puppy."

With that out of the way she grins anew looking back to the guys. Roy gets a small shrug. "I can only do so much staying in my room. You know I'm going crazy with what's going on right? I mean, I can only help so much myself with things. And thanks Bart. Snacks are always welcome."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    "Idu, the dog's name, is a Tesem, his breed. The hounds -- a hunting dog focusing on sight or smell -- of Khemet, which is Ancient Egyptian for Egypt." PHoebe builds a lesson into the conversation "Zatanna Zatara is one of my mentors, and she and I went to go hide the village on the boarder of Sudan and Egypt and -- you know what, yes. Idu is a sweet dog. Such a good boy!"

    Idu agrees, wagging his tail as he consumes the jerky treats, and sniffs around to make sure he hasn't missed anything, and then returns to Phoebe to bounce on Gabby!

    Phoebe gives a small laugh, and stiffly gives Gabby a one-armed hug.

    "I'm okay, Gabby. The Angels haven't gotten me yet, but I'm still going to go with another group to finish up a couple more tasks before everything is done. Tim and I just... we needed a break from everything, I think, and Batman is a hard guy to tell 'no'." she winces, and she shrugs her shoulders.

Roy Harper has posed:
Roy hops up from his seat and trots barefoot over to the recycle bin to drop in his empty Pepsi bottle. "And the new Flash 2, Roy Harper, makes a supersonic run for the recycle bin," he says on his way.

After depositing the bottle he looks back to Gabby. "I'm so sorry, I've had my head up my ass in Starling City for a few weeks. What did I miss, Gabby? I don't know what happened."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will continue to pet the dog some but lets him get free and explore other people if he wants to. He squats down listening for now.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney finishes her squeeze of Phoebe only to be attacked by wild doggo! With a laugh she shifts her grip around to ruffle Idu's ears giving him some good boy pets enthusiastically. Just as she begins to coo at him, she pauses with the question tossed her way.

Green eyes dart up to Roy at his question and her expression shifts just a bit from the playful one she'd had to something a bit more somber. "It's nothing as bad as everything that's going on, overall," she admits with a shrug that attempts to be indifferent. It's not though. She's stiff and quiet for a few moments.

"Laura's not my only sister. I've got one more, the only one that survived the labs with me. I lost contact with her when..." A look is shot toward Phoebe, then back toward Roy. "When everything happened. She was in New York. She's trained, same as me, but..." Here she falters with her voice dropping, "But she's human."

"I'm sorry. That's why I haven't really been 'here' to help with the Angels or the refugees. I've been trying to find her."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn has been busy of late, between her work at Xavier's and back here at the Roost. And with recent events that have her in unusually low spirits for the usually hyper fairygirl, she heads for the bar and scrounges around for something, anything to take the edge off. In her current out-of-it reverie, she hasn't really noticed that the place is like, packed with people..and a dog too! Wow, she must be really out of it..

Strix has posed:
There's a *ding* of the elevator and Strix steps out carrying a large pad of artists paper and a couple of art pencils. She waves to everybody who looks at her and makes her way to one of the beanbags and plops herself down in it. She draws her knees up to be a makeshift easel and rests the paper against them. She looks around for a subject, when her eyes settles on Idu. Perfect. Beast already has, like, a bajillion pictures done of him.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    "Don't you apologize, Gabby. Family's important. The reasonw hy I'm fighting so hard is for my little adopted sister to get her dad back." Phoebe points out, crossing her arms over her chest a moment before making a pained expression.

    "Hard enough that I'm kinda... exhausted. I've gotta wait a couple of days for my powers to get back up to full strength -- Batman's orders." she gives a small shrug "He's... kinda taking some oversight of me, I guess."

    Idu pauses. He looks at Mary, who seems to be studying him, and to Gabby who's spinning out 'sorries', but his attention goes to the colorful Pixie. His ears draw up, and he hops off the beanbag and prepares to stalk her, padding up quietly before he gives a "WURUUUUUUUUU!"

Roy Harper has posed:
Roy pulls himself up on the counter, sitting on the edge and dangling his legs. In a very unobtrusive manner he murmurs to Megan, "There's a stash of peanut butter cups over in that drawer by the microwave. But you didn't hear it from me."

Strix gets a wave and a smile as she emerges from the elevator. "Hey, how's it goin'? Coming to join what is sure to be the best block party on the block?"

As the dog comes over to investigate Megan, near where Roy is sitting on a counter, he rests his bare feet (gently) on the back of the dog. "They this foot warmer is great!"

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn is pretty busy searching the cupboards for some sweet strong drink, and muttering incoherently to herself, when she hears a four legged stranger stalking up to her and barking. Pulling out a sugary, low alcoholic canned beverage of some sort, Megan meeps and jumps, nearly (literally) hitting the roof!

"Meeep! What's that? Aah! It's a cute dooggyy! Heey, where'd you come from!?" by now she has unknowingly shaken up her can and will probably open it soon with..Interesting results..

Gabby Kinney has posed:
"Yeah, but... That doesn't mean I shouldn't join in either with helping," Gabby points out with a wry grin. "I can help more from here. And I can keep going longer than most so long as I have a steady stream of caffeine. ... It's kind of a placebo effect for me, but it's the best I can do." Shrugging she glances over to Mary and Megan as they come in. "Hey! Welcome to hanging out. Or something." Shrugging slightly at that she looks over to Strix's drawings curiously.

Strix has posed:
Mary looks up at Roy as he addresses her, and she nods vigorously in agreement, and gives him a thumbs up. Best party on the block! When she flips through her previous drawings, Gabby can see various subjects. Mostly they're studies of Beast, her own Jack Russel Terrier that had managed to adopt her. But there are a few others. Batman brooding while looking out on the city, Tim eating a sandwich, that kind of thing. They're not bad studies, to be honest. She's come a long way from the cartoonishly childish drawings that she had done when she first defected from the Court of Owls.

She studies Idu for a moment, squinting in concentration before settling pencil on paper. She draws a rough outline of his head, first, a rather stately looking pup with /huge ears/.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will shakes his head a bit seeming to have been lost in thought for a moment. He looks over to the new arrivals and gives them a wave. As more people come in, he heads into the kitchen and brings back some snacks put around for folks and some bart made doggie food for Idu. He places it next to Phoebe so she can control it.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    "That's Idu, Megan -- he's from the same village I was born in." the exhausted Phoebe calls out, and she just sorta leans back in her beanbag, looking around.

    "And you can only do so many things at once, Gabs. I mean, look at me. Outsider, and apparently now I partially lead a team where pretty much everyone is older than me. Weird situation. Do not recommend. Or like it, really." Phoebe's nose wrinkles, and then her expression darkens slightly, and she wrings her fingers, and then reaches up to scratch at the burned-in symbol on her left arm.

    "So... what's everyone else been up to?" she questions.

    Idu looks up at Megan, sitting down and wagging his tail, expecting adoration or treats. He accepts both.

Roy Harper has posed:
Roy slips off the counter, landing lithely on his feet. "I gotta go grab a shower, suit up, and get out on patrol," he announces. He points at Idu, "Nice meeting you, dude." Then to the room, "Nice seeing everyone again. Be safe out there." And he trots off.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney steps away to ruffle Idu's ears before leaving so that he can annoy everyone else in the best puppyish way possible. "I should grab a shower and nap myself. I want to head out again soon." A glance is cast over to Phoebe as she offers, "If you need backup let me know. Seriously. I may not be a magic sort but I've got some experience with demons and stuff." Grinning she adds, "See ya Megan. And I want to see that picture later, Mary!"
