June Connor has posed:
Morning. Ugh. June's hangover from last night has her in a near stumbling state. The party was pretty intense, but the price the next morning might surpass it. She wears a faded tan sweatshirt hoodie that looks like it's been put through the wash a few more times than it was designed, The Fratelli's logo is on the front of it with women on it that look like they were hookers in the 1930s. Her black jeans are shredded to where more of her legs are showing than are covered. Her fire-engine red hair must be a dye job, nobody's hair is that bright of a red, hanging in a half shaved cut that dangles across the right side of her head. The shaved side shows enough earrings that she could open her own shop. Purple eyeshadow hasn't been touched up still lingering from last night.

The smell of marijuana follows her into the shop, and her very presence is like a punch to the atmosphere's nuts. A pair of rather conservative girls waft their faces as they smell her aura and she gets in the line for her coffee.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
It's an unseasonably warm winter day in New York City and Billy walks down the sidewalk toward his favorite haunt when he's not on campus at NYU with his head buried in books. He's vaping as he goes, leaving those obnoxiously huge clouds in the air, and is otherwise lost in thought. He stops to the side of the door of Coffee of DOOM where the smokers chill in shame. Smoking indoors in NYC will get you shot then arrested these days. He has some easy conversations with a few of them, who seem to be passing something around that they are taking turns taking hits from. It gets handed to Billy, who takes a huge draw and hands it along. Of course, recreational marijuana is legal in New York but smoking outside in public is not. That'll get you a ticket and your weed confiscated. He fist-bumps or hugs a few people -- charismatic kid, this one -- and then heads into the shop.

Once in the warmer interior, he pulls off his black leather jacket and falls in line behind June. "Dope hair," he comments genuinely.

June Connor has posed:
June gets a look from the girls in line in front of her of disapproval. It gets them a look that says 'fight me' in return. They turn back around, clearly not as aggressive in personality as she is. She stuffs her hands into her pockets, tilting her head up at the ceiling when she hears the compliment from behind. She twists at the waist lazily until she can look behind her, her feet still faced forward as she gives a once over glance to Billy, as if deciding whether to accept the compliment or to retort aggressively.

"Nhn," she grunts after a few seconds. "Thanks." Her feet release their plant, and she turns so that she is profiled, keeping her stance somewhere between looking forward in the line, and looking back at Billy.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Billy's energetic eyes look June over and he smirks a little bit in a friendly, jocular way. "You look like shit," he says boldly. "Rough night?" He takes a deep inhale of the weed aura around June and grins. "You have the perfume of the gods, though." Let's see how it goes. Maybe she likes getting shaken up more than complimented.

June Connor has posed:
"My, how nice of you," she says in a deadpan return, though she doesn't look any more offended than she has been by the fact that she's awake. "Good nights are usually followed by shitty mornings. Can't have too much happiness without payin' for it," she answers. She gives another once over glance of him. "Were you there?" she asks, genuinely looking like she's not sure. She didn't know most of the people there last night.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
June's explanation brings a genuine smile to Billy's face. "Nope, I wasn't there. Last night I studied for an Imperial Colonization Studies exam and was fast asleep by 11:00 in the same single bed in my bedroom at my parent's apartment that I've slept in since I was a little kid." He laughs a bit, moving forward a few steps as the line advances.

"Yep, I'm what's known as a Lady Killer!" Billy says with a chuckle. "Well, in my case a Man Killer, but it doesn't have the same ring to it, ya know?"

June Connor has posed:
"Yeah, youse a really hard core bastard," June answers, the sarcasm can almost be seen coming out of her mouth it's so thick. "Can tell you get all the pussy." She turns back around, shaking her head, definitely not the cheery type. The two girls don't notice when the line advances again, and she growls. "Bitch move up," she says, challenging them to dare say something back. They manage a disapproving evil eye, but move up, and then continue their conversation about...whatever person they are gossiping about.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
"Them bitches be trippin'," Billy says comically. "You wanna borrow my switchblade and take care of bui'ness?" His tone, of course, indicates that he neither has a switchblade nor would condone stabbing the women for holding up the line.

"Billy Kaplan," he says, holding up a fist for either a fist-bump or to be completely ignored. His intuition tells him that either is equally possible. Hmmmm, no, scratch that. Sixty percent in favor of ignore.

June Connor has posed:
June winces, looking back at Billy's continued attempt to continue a conversation. She turns around looks at the fist, and decidedly does not engage, her green eyes shift from the fist back up to his face. "Look, I'm super fuckin' hungover," she says. "And I'm sure you have no problem gettin' wet on every girl you meet," definitely more sarcasm, "but it's way too early for the flirty shit. Aight?" she steps up to the order as the girls move on to pick up their drinks. "Yeah, onna those tuxedo mocha things," she says, raising a hand from her pocket to waggle at the menu. She stuffs her hand into a pocket. Nope, not there. Stuffs her hand into a back pocket, and the other, which can be seen easily from behind doesn't have any payment that she's searching for.

Billy Kaplan has posed:
Billy smirks a little at the comment about the flirty shit, especially since he basically already told her he was gay with the 'Man Killer' comment. He shrugs and waits in line for his turn to order something. Life's too short.
