Synopsis:	Sarah and Xi'an run into one another and Xi'an gives Sarah dating advise.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker has currently come into Harry's. Having missed running into the person she wished to meet, she had just decided to go and drop by for a drink before heading back to where she was staying. There was a light frown over on her face that shifted to neutral as she went around people. Heading to the bar, she would let out a low hum before skimming over the menu, glancing up at it and resting a knee on the counter, ehr chin over on her hand as she would contemplate her order.

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh sits at the counter already, sipping on a glass of wine. She's had a simple spring salad, the remnants laid neatly aside to be taken by the waitress at her leisure. Xi'an is used to eating alone and even takes some comfort in it. With all of her siblings, mealtime was often a competitive affair, so the solace of being able to take her time and savor a meal is a novelty. She turns her head and glances over at the native woman's arrival, taking her in with rich brown eyes and, if they chance to meet gazes, giving her a nod of acknowledgement.

Sarah Rainmaker would take a moment over to glance at Xi'an in passing, whatever sort of routine going through her mind seeming to settle on something. "You seem like a regular, anything on the menu you might recommend that's good?" She would gesture up at the list of drinks while moving her seat to the side in the event the other womanw ould come on over. "I've never come here before so I haven't the slightest idea what is recommended."

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh turns a bit more towards Sarah, tucking a lock of midnight hair behind her pierced ear with a fingernail as glossy black as the hair itself. She considers for a moment, "I admit, much of the fare isn't always for me. I believe the specialty is called 'pub food'. Burgers, potatoes, deep-fried cheese, things of that arena," she says. "I usually need to have a few glasses of wine before I'm quite so ready to...what's the phrase...chow down."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would glance up at the menu, "I'm not much of a wine drinker. I'm just out for a cuople before heading back to where I'm staying. Not hungry tonight." She would offer to Xi'an. "So anything you'd recommend from behind hte counter or am I on my own?" She would grin.

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh crosses her legs as she sits on the stool, wearing black slacks with a cream-colored turtleneck, shaped to fit her slender frame perfectly. She has silver rings on several fingers, each with its own personal significance. "When I'm feeling a bit decadent, I can never say no to a patty melt myself. Get the house ranch with your fries, too," she says. "So, what is it that brings you to Westchester, then?"

Sarah Rainmaker would smile, "I was coming here to meet someone to spend the evening but they were detained and unable to make it. Circumstances happen. I already had plans to come around to this area so I thought I might as well just to see what it was like. Have a cuople of drinks, a snack, then go on back."

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh nods, "Ah, a missed rendezvous. A shame," she says. "Might I inquire as to with who? I know a lot of the residents around here. I'm curious if we might have an acquaintance in common. Or perhaps even a friend," she says. She signals to the barkeep to refill her wine, choosing the house red as she regards the stranger with a curious eye. She could, of course, pry psionically, but that would be unethical.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would smile, "Ah.. A teacher at a nearby school. I can understand being busy. Also I might have been the one to misunderstand the time. Miscommunications happen. I probably should have checked ahead. No loss. I've never been to Westchester before." Being just a little vague.

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh raises an eyebrow, "A teacher at Xavier's? I'm a faculty member there myself. The school librarian. Xi'an Coy Manh," she says, offering her hand by way of introduction. "The school may have also called upon her unexpectedly. A private school with gifted students has a habit of interrupting your life at inopportune times, so I've found."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would smile, "Yes! Oh, forgive me, I didn't know. And yes, teenagers will be teenagers." Spoken by someone that was well aware of how she had been and that she had no reason to stand or judge.

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh sighs, "Don't I know it. I have dealt with many troubles in my life, but I do not think any of them have been as persistent and sometimes baffling as teenagers," she says. "Dare I enquire who you were going to meet? Or would you rather keep it private? Keeping up with the dating lives of my colleagues can help me alleviate my own lack thereof."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would shrug at Xi'an, "Then if you can't handle it one always doesn't have to teach. Sometimes we have to know our limitations. There's nothing wrong if you realize you can't do something." She would reply. "Oh, I was going to meet Ms. Munroe."

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh nods, "That's fair. That's why I'm the librarian, rather than a teacher. I am better as a resource to be tapped than to be herding cats, so to speak," she says. "Oh, Ororo! How delightful. She and I are friends. I'm so pleased to meet a fellow acquaintance, "she says. Then there's a soft smile that plays on her lips, "Is this a platonic friendship or something more?"

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would ah and blush just a little bit, "I think we're trying to figure out more of that second one." She would admit after a few moments "I'm still very new to the.." She probably meant 'dating'. "And she's very, very amazing and.."

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh smiles, "I'm glad to hear it. Not only because it would be joyful for my friend to have someone in their life, but because, as a queer academic, I'm always glad to see others like myself in the world," she says. "The world is better of with us in it, don't you think?" she winks.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would smile, "oh, she's a friend of your's? Lovely. That means I have someone I can ask sorts of questions about her to get some ideas." She would mime holding out a hand with a pen and paper.

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh gives a conspiratorial smile, "Well, I'll do my best to answer, of course, although there are certain discretions one must hold to be a true friend," she says. "But within those allowances, I'll do my best. I'll say first and foremost that she's a wonderful person and one of the bravest and wisest I've known."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would fold her figners together, "oh? She's more than just a mutant-mannered schoolteacher?" That had apparently not come up in conversation at all! "So the basics. What are her favorite types of chocolate? What is her favorite flower?" The very simple things.

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh chooses her words carefully. The veil of secrecy around Xavier's is more sacrosanct to some than others and Xi'an didn't want to be loose-lipped. Luckily, these questions are fairly mundane. "I don't know about varieties, but I have seen her consume her share of brownies, at the very least. As for flowers, I believe she would favor orchids, although I am free to be mistaken."

Sarah Rainmaker would ahhs, "Thank you. That's something to start with." If only she could bake.. Fortunately, at some point she can guilt trip Caitlin into doing it for her. "That's perfect." She's taking out her phone and going to rapidly type the things to store on it.

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh smiles, taking another sip of her wine, "I'm glad to be of assistance. It would be good to see Ororo happy. I confess, I didn't know she had a romantic interest in women," she says a little wistfully.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would sigh, "I'll do my best to try. She feels very out of my league. So I can just hope that I keep ehr happy and understand if it doesn't work out." Honest.

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh nods solemnly, "I suspect Ororo feels out of most everyone's league. She tends to have that effect on people. No exception for me either. The woman, frankly, makes me sweat," she says with a soft laugh. "But in the good way."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah Rainmaker would laugh, "Thank you. And she's a Queen. She deserves to be treated that way." Not knowing htat was a literal thing! "I can only hope I make her feel that way, the way she makes me feel."

Xi'An Coy Manh has posed:
Xi'an Coy Manh smiles, "I wish you good luck in that," she says. "I confess, I am, perhaps, a little jealous in my own small way, but only because I wish such things for myself as well. And yes, I am sure it will happen, in time. I am merely tired of being patient."

Sarah Rainmaker would twitch her lips upwards, "Then good luck. I hope you find someone that means so much to you and makes you feel good. I'm sure you'll find that girl out there for yourself."
