At the gates of N.O.W.H.E.R.E.
Date of Scene: 16 March 2022
Location: An island near the North Pole, outside Colony Zero
Synopsis: The Outsiders and their allies assault Colony Zero, defeating and capturing the bulk of the remaning N.O.W.H.E.R.E. agents. NPCs: Templar, Match, Bright Eyes, Hammersmith, Psykill, Windshear. All captured.
Cast of Characters: Conner Kent, Natasha Romanoff, Valeria Richards, Vivian Vision, Lonnie Machin, Kaida Connolly, Harper Row, Gabby Kinney, Janet van Dyne, Bart Allen, M'gann M'orzz, Jonathan Sims, Emiko Queen

Conner Kent has posed:
There are a bunch of islands between Russia and the North Pole. The water is frozen most of the year. Definitely this time of the year, since right now there is perpetual night this far north. Pretty much no one lives this region, although there are some research installations and meteorological stations that are manned part time.

It is a good place to get lost, and freeze. You could even say is the 'nowhere' of the world, which is fitting. And here Dr. Harvest has built its main base.

The Bioship sensors are scanning, so is the Quinjet. Nothing. Nothing. But where even ancient Martian science fails, the Fantastic Four technology triumphs: Valeria can detect unusual gravimetric emissions and maybe photonic irregularities that hints there is a (very, very good) holographic cloak.

And apparently some kind of scanner-detection equipment, because as the heroes attempt a deeper scan, the defenses of Colony Zero activate. The holographic cloak falls revealing some bunker-like buildings among the icy rocks, and plasma burst from cannon emplacements, targeting the Avenger's Quinjet.

The Bioship manages to avoid the villains sensors. At least for now.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
The craft is flying in stealth mode. Hugging the ground and on some points flying mere meters above it as Natasha manages to -just- avoid what passes for the treeline as they would go. Her seeming to flip from VTOL to Thrusters minute by minute, the craft making rapid, small adjustments to maintain course as it would go along the ground at highly unsafe flight speeds. ?Everyone, hold on in there." She would speak to the rest of the team in the back. Giving orders to Vivian, "Maintain our cloak and countermeasures, I'm sure that we'll get a surprise as soon as we get in range." Natasha's going to flip her way through the weapons pods, getting a series of flechettes ready to launch on standby.
The veteran pilot letting Vivian handle all sensors while she would be working purely off visuals and the data feed from the synthoid. Hand flicking over the console to do a quick scan of various subsystems, even as a small wind gust would make the Quinjet jolt a bit. Natasha had warned them to hold on!
Then plasma would blast out, even as th Quinjet would go along at highs peed! Natasha goes to yank back on the throttle, kicking in the VTOLs and bouncing the craft up to do a sudden stop in midair, everyone not strapped in slamming forwards. Teh flechettes armed and ready for Vivian to launch the array of micro-missiles!

Valeria Richards has posed:
Val Richards, Brainstorm while she's on the job or occasionally 'You impertinant little cow' depending who she annoyed is head first in one of the panels of the inside the quinjet making sure the defensive shields installed keep up with the barrages. Luckily being who she is, that also means combining it with the cloak.

"Can we not fly deliberately into exploding missiles and things. Smoke and debri bouncing off us will still give us away as easily as throwng paint on my mother." she calls out while she winces as she catches a little geat and zap as she crosses wires as the sudden stops and starts of VTOL enginces throw her legs still sticking out of the floor panel flail and kick wide because she lacks bracing for her lower half.

Vivian Vision has posed:
It's trivial for Vivian Vision to split her attention. She can portion her mind off to focus on tasks without impacting her ability to move around and act normally. So part of her maintains a holographic stealth field around the Quinjet while another runs the ECM & ECCM systems. Another helps with the scanning and team communications.

She's even got a subpersona monitoring the weather. Because it never hurts to be extremely prepared.

With the Quinjet loaded with micro-missiles she makes a split second decision and taps directly into each missiles guidance system. No target locks here! She can pilot every single one with pinpoint accuracy. Aiming for the ground batteries shooting up at them.

Lonnie Machin has posed:
The guy sitting in the back - the one with the leather jacket, hood, and creepy bone-white mask probably is an odd-fit with the rest of the crowd. Right now, he's reading a copy of Frederick the Great's 'Anti-Machiavel', long legs curled up to make room for other people sitting in the jet - a lot of leg but not a lot of room. He doesn't comment on the technological advancement of the Quinjet or the luminaries on the jet with him. Instead, he notes the terrain, the mention of an advanced cloaking device, and he starts mentally sketching out the likely layout of the base, since any disguise NOWHERE put up would have to conform with existing satelite views of the terrain.

When the explosions start going off around Anarky, he calmly turns a page in his book. "What cruelties were not the result of his? Who could count all his crimes? Such was the man that Machiavel prefers to all the great geniuses of his time..."

He closes the pamphlet, and begins quietly checking his gear, making sure everything's in the proper order.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
In such situations at this, Kaida is not one who is usually sticking to what one might call still. With the capacity to cling to sheer surfaces, move really fast, and take a beating that most things can't take, Kaida really doesn't care about turbulence. She actually loves it! So, as the quinjet moves through the area, she's rushing over to monitors, windows and looking out with a laugh.

"This is awesome! I so rarely get to go rescue Nadia! I missed the last time!" She nods her head, "Is it always this exciting?" She grins a little as she watches a plasma blast fly by a window and then laughs louder.

"WoW! I bet that would have burned like heck!" She rushes up to the front of the jet and looks ahead, standing to the side of the front viewing window, "Hey! Is there a way off this thing when we get close?" She looks over toward Natasha who is the pilot, "I wanna go in shield first!" She whips out her shield, "I heard Captain America does stuff like that and I wanna go in Captain America style! They'll be all like: 'Did they throw a tiny rock at us?' and then like 'No, I don't think it was a rock, it's moving.' and then like 'AH! GET OFF! GET IT OFF MY FACE!'" She cackles and then looks out ahead.

Harper Row has posed:
Harper Row had been in the midst of trying to micro-solder a few wires on the drones she brought for the occasion. Given the cyborgs routinely can shrug off conventional weaponry, at least at first, Harper has had to somewhat up the ante on her arsenal in order to make sure she's maximally effective. Her armor is heavier than usual, for one, and she's equipped a lot of her gear with explosive, flamethrower or high-electric shock capabilities.

It wouldn't be Bluebird if she wasn't at least electrocuting a few people along the way.

She has very loud heavy metal music playing in her earbuds to assist her concentration (don't ask), but she has a little audio sensor that will blink if someone speaks loud enough to try and catch her attention.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney was sitting on the edge of her seat flexing her fingers in her gloved hands impatiently. It wasn't so much that she was dying to let the claws out as she was trying to focus her tension and anxiety into the gesture so she could remain calm outwardly. This was finally the moment when they would get to rescue their fellow teammates, and friends, and she was the one in charge of the Outsiders temporarily. She was NOT going to fuck this up.

When the barrage of attacks start on the quinjet they were flying near, she glances toward M'Gann with concern. "Can the bioship keep up with that? I don't want it to get hurt if we can avoid it." Really, since she knew the ship was 'alive' she was trying very hard to be considerate of it as well. "Sorry if it's an obvious answer, just tense. We'll do great though! And looks like this means we're in the right place, too." She hoped.

Another quick check of her gear is given with a pat here, and there, to check weapons idly.

Janet van Dyne has posed:
"Oof! Natasha, will you steer AROUND the incoming?!" Janet demands, a little irascibly. The Wasp tightens up the harness straps of her chair after being bounced around. She's clad in a heavy-weight jumpsuit of white and slate grey, with a helmet on her hip and reinforced mechanical wings over where her organic ones normally emerge.

"It's a little vague but I'm getting a read on something like Pym Particles nearby," she calls up to the others. The custom monitoring equipment had to be hastily installed and takes Janet's focus to manipulate and study. "It's intermittent but consistent when it pings. We're definitely getting closer."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over to Emiko, and has been briefing her on the things they have fought so far against N.O.W.H.E.R.E. "Also, we need to make sure when we do find our friends, it is them, they have already made an evil clone of SB, so if you know something a clone would not quizzing our friends maybe a good thing." He says the last over the com to everyone. He will ask Emiko "You want to go in at speed or with the main force?" He is heading towards a deploy spot "I can head in for the artillery."

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
M'gann is not okay. M'gann has not been okay for awhile, and now she has had a week to stew in her emotions as she and the BioShip along with those who elected to come with her after retaking the roost have been methodically scouring the Arctic Circle island by island. Most of the time Martians are very patient beings, but as time continues to pass with her friends unaccounted for the tension within M'gann has continued to mount.

Still, when the call to regroup came, she brought the BioShip back to pick up the others for a broader search, even as her own failure to find anything continued to eat away at the back of her mind.

"Strap in." M'gann informs the others aboard the BioShip when the base is finally uncovered. There is at least a few seconds to comply before the ship banks hard to avoid the incoming fire directed at the Quin jet. "She will be fine, even if they manage to detect us, her telekinetic shields are quite strong, especially when we act together. "We're going in low and fast, be ready to jump."

Jonathan Sims has posed:
Jonathan Sims has been quiet in his spot on the bioship, checking over his gear and trying not to fret. He's wearing black fatigues and SHIELD body armor, looking more like he ought to be on the quinjet, aside from the glowing emerald arm and the ankh-topped staff covered in hieroglyphs. As M'gann banks the ship he grabs hold of something just in time to /not/ fall over as the ship banks, and frowns.

He glances over to Bart. "We have a couple of telepaths," he says quietly, nodding toward M'gann and them himself. "I think we can make sure that the people we're rescuing aren't evil clones."

Emiko Queen has posed:
Emiko has been listening and taking notes (mentally), asking questions, and generally getting caught up to speed. She lifts a brow at him, "Well, since I'm relatively new to all of them, that will be interesting." She purses up her lips, "SPeed. Since I'm an unknown variable, lets keep me under wraps for the moment."

Conner Kent has posed:
Superb piloting saves the Quinjet from the worst of the barrage of plasma, and Valeria's shields hold on the rest with just a few scorch marks to the paint. Meanwhile the flechette and missiles destroy the plasma guns one after another, almost as fast as they pop up from the ice.

Looks like not even 30th Century technology is a match for 21st Century heroes. But then another projectile shoots up from the ground. This one goes through the missiles as if they were raindrops, and slams the Quinjet so fast only Bart can see him. Yes, him, not it. It is a young man in a white and red smartsuit. Match crushes the Quinjet forcefields and goes all the way through the airplane, leaving two man-sized holes in the hull as he goes all the way through. Red lights show up all over Natasha's control panel. Luckily the half-Kryptonian missed the engines, but the damage is critical!

Another figure follows match, this one is Windshar, whom the Outsiders met when the Roost was attacked. The young aerokinetic gestures and the artic winds immediately hasten to hurricane speeds, battering both planes from all sides. Even the Bioship is now having difficulties.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
As the plasma detonations would erupt around the Quinjet, the Black Widow would calmly respond to Janet, ?This gives us the lowest targeting profile for them to shoot at.? Her rapidly flicking switches, cutting the engines for a moment and then firing the VTOLs, doing a maneuver to suddenly pump the Quinjet up in the air in a way that seemed to kill all inertia forwards, boosting it up in the air in a maneuver that was the signature of the Harrier jump jet, a 'vhiff' in the air as she would kick the thrusters in to give them a full 180 spin, then firing off the engines once more. "Good, just keep us in the right direction." The bioship seems unscathed for the moment.
And then the Quinjet is slammed right THROUGH faster than Natasha can see or react to. The Quinjet would be breached, even as all systems are flaring up! She doesn't bother to do more than scan damage reports. She mvoes to immediately kill the engines, powering them down and adjusting the flaps on the Quinjet to give them a controlled glide! "Vivian, Valeria, please give our host a warm response to thank them for the welcome. Janet?" Hopefully amongst the two V-Girls they would have something nasty for the Kryptonian-clone and Janet could give them information as to whether to plow on ahead or jump for it! The Quinjet is in theory salvagable and not going to blow up. But they're still in a barely controlled glide. Natasha's hand hovers over the button for the emergency release of the boarding ramp, but doesn't hit it as she fights with the controls to keep them in a relativly stable dive!

Valeria Richards has posed:
In the Quinjet!

At least Val's suit. All based on Thing Suit technology is good for hard impacts and rough landings. Should be for class sixty level strength. And the extra padding on her arms, shoulders, back, hips and thighs is good for cushioning as much as making a normal Fantastic Four unstable molecule uniform. The rings on her middle fingers glowing along with a few LEDs on her wrist computers feeding data to a HUD displaying via a holo display attached to some black hornrimmed nerd style glasses. The secret of how there never fall off is the envy of all glasses wearing superheroes everywhere.

With Janet having a ping on particular Pym particles. Val picks her self up and out of that panel and wobbles around as she tries to get to a seat and strap in. "I've linked in to the scanner installed. My wrist computer will keep us updated but on it's own it won't have the same range Jan. I've also tagged you so we can not accidentally find you instea..." she points out but is rather unceremoneously cut off by a guided Kryptonianish missile

.

"Oh C'mon, why even bother upgrading the shields? What the hell hit us!" Brainstorm yells as she's tumbled around the back of the vehicle with many a thump and clank. "Kaida' you might get your wish!" she yells as loudly as she can over the sound of air rushing through the holes and the engine noise as Natasha struggles to keep the aircraft stable for everyone to bail out.

"Note to self, remember to install grav tech in suit for personal flight. Suggest boots withwedge heels for space."

Vivian Vision has posed:
Sadly Vivian doesn't have any anti-Kryptonian weapons in the many pockets of her canary yellow cargo pants. Nor are Quinjet weapons likely to do anything more than mess up his costume. "I do not have the capability to harm a Kryptonian," she notes calmly. "However I should be able to deal with the aerokinetic."

And without waiting for permission she phases through the Quinjet.

The winds might be extremely strong. But that only really matters if you're physically there. By staying out of phase Viv can simply fly at her normal flight speed towards Windshear.

And all without pausing in her other duties. Although in winds this strong the missiles are no longer safe to fire.

Lonnie Machin has posed:
Anarky looks up and to his left, at the hole now sucking wind out of the quinjet - he clings to the arm of a chair, as the klaxons go off all around them - as the plane begins to descend, he reaches down off his belt and unclips... a laser pointer. "The right tool for the right job." He says, as the white-masked vigilante tests it against the wall of the Quinjet - little red dot -

And then he anchors himself to the nearest seat with a tether, leans out the hole, and shines the laser pointer into Windshear's eyes. "I hope he's smart enough to look away. You can really injure somebody's eyes with a laser pointer, ha. Though I imagine looking away from the Synthezoid headed right for him will hurt more."

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"Whoa!" Kaida says to no one in particular when the hole in the ship suddenly appears and she clings tenaciously to the a wall of the ship. It helps when you only way a couple of pounds and can lift ten times as much to be able to hold on to things. She looks over to see the holes and she can feel the rushing wind.

"Nevermind, I found the exit!" She grins at Valeria and then she does a crazy thing. She rushes to one of the holes created by the living projectile and then just kinda jumps through it. A moment later, she's being whipped about outside.

"Hahahaha! This is awesome!" She yells to no one in particular before she grabs her shield off her back and carefully flips it under her feet, sliding her feet through the two bands designed normally for her arm and then spins around in the air a few times before grinning.

"Surfs up!" And she's racing along the winds, hands reaching up to put two tiny goggles over her eyes as her scarf whips out behind her.

Harper Row has posed:
Harper Row feels the sudden lurching caused by the uptake of winds and that gets her to turn off her music and rapidly move to put away her tools. Time for preparation was over, it seemed, they were getting into the thick of it.

Unfortunately, she couldn't really do much as of yet, contained in the ship as she was, she just had to hope M'gann and the others could get her to ground safely. Although maybe she could rig something into a rocket launcher that could fire out, but then the winds would have crazy vectors if they're being tossed around like that. She'd have to find a way to put a stabilizing gyroscope in the warhead itself, which she'd have to make by cannibalizing at least one or two of the drones...

Well, at least she was getting ideas.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney gives a firm nod at the remark from M'Gann. Low and fast. She unbuckles her belt though it was already strained to it's limits with how she'd been shimmying around on her seat impatiently in preparation to deploy when needed. It's then that the attackers from NOWHERE hit the Quinjet, though, causing her to hesitate.

"That's Match, isn't it?" She asks hesitantly knowing full well that would be difficult for the Quinjet people to deal with a Kryptonian. A quick glance is cast to Jon, Harper, Emiko and Bart. "You guys deploy down there. See if you can swing me up and lob me at the Kryptonian clone after, M'Gann?"

Janet van Dyne has posed:
Janet shrieks in shock as the impact from Match knocks the Quinjet off path. The vehicle yaws dangerously and gale-force winds whip it about, making it impossible for Janet to safely shrink or fly without risking being squashed like an insect.

"Nats!" she bellows, and adds some sulferous commentary to Black Widow's attempts to nurse the Quinjet in a controlled emergency descent. The moment the vehicle is somewhat stabilized Janet pulls the partial helmet on. Panels click and uncurl and it becomes a full-skull visored helmet that integrates with the thermal suit she's wearing. She unbuckles her chair harness and moves smartly to the rear of the vehicle.

The Wasp grabs Valeria by the collar of her jumpsuit and frog-marches her towards the hole in the aft section of the ship. "Don't panic!" she yells in Valeria's ear-- and pushes her out the hole! Janet follows a second later, absolutely fearless in the face of gravity and high winds. One hand remains on Valeria's arm to keep the brilliant young inventor stable.

Janet starts the fall from a few hundred feet up, and when she hits the ground, the petite socialite towers a good forty feet over the terrain below. Giant-sized, she lifts a hand to protect her face from AA guns tracknig her direction, and with a kick and a stomp, smashes them into rubble.

"Val! Go!" Janet makes an underhand pitch and bowls Valeria out from the protective cage of her giant hand, safely into a heavy snowdrift (well, relatively safely).

It's not Kryptonite, but Janet's fingers burn with a heavy volume of green bioplasma as she turns her attention back to the sky. The moment she gets Match in her sights, the giant Wasp claps her plasma-charged hands in the air like she's trying to end a particularly annoying mosquito buzzing around.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will move and As Emiko climbs onto his back in a piggyback position he clips a strap to his belt, and to hers "If you need loose unclip us, if I need to will let you know, but this should keep your hands free." He offers. He moves waiting till the door opens, and then the young man is jumping out and matches the speed of baby, the landing is not much more than a hard jump. He is off headed towards the buildings, trying to call out any guard towers or such he sees so Emiko maybe able to get a shot at them before they pass them. As he is out and sees Match something dawns on him that probably should have much sooner. "Jonathan if you can light that Match up with the voodoo you do."

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
The appearance of the faux Kryptonian isn't lost on M'gann either. "They won't last long against that." Unless they have kryptonite, which really nobody should put past the most dangerous ladies of the Avengers. Regardless, M'gann nods to Gabby and unstraps her own restraints. "The ship will finish taking you in and then stay out of sight. Gabby and I will be getting off here."

The ship is notably not slowing down, but M'gann is unbothered. She's not even touching the floor as she floats across the intervening space towards Gabby and hoists her up easily with one hand. A door in the side of the ship opens for them, though thankfully the pressure is maintained by a telekinetic barrier. The barrier however vanishes for a split second to let M'gann and Gabby through, even as the ship continues towards ground level for the low altitude drop.

Floating in the sky, M'gann as requested adopts a plan out of the X-Men playbook and hurls Gabby with all of her considerable strength straight at Match. The Martian, however, makes a slight improvement to the 'Fastball Special' using her Telekinesis to guide the Gabby projectile towards its target just in case Match should try any of that fancy Kryptonian dodging. Though once Gabby has left her grasp, the green girl also zips over underneath the Quinjet, arresting its descent from underneath and helping to guide it down while Gabby deals with Match.

The giant woman is an unexpected surprise, but even in her grim mental state M'gann can't help but think that's pretty cool!

Jonathan Sims has posed:
Jon blinks rapidly at Bart and then his eyes widen. Oh. Right. Magic. Not that Match will be /weak/ to it, but he won't be /strong/ against it, and in this instance that might be the edge they need.

Jumping out of a plane in hurricane-force winds, even close to the ground, is a crazy idea. Having /wings/ in hurricane-force winds is an even crazier idea. And trying to go up against a Kryptonian when you're mostly a normal human is the /craziest/ of ideas. But Jon's probably going to need the magical power transforming gives him, so he closes his eyes a moment, summoning forth wings and circlet with ostrich feather.

He takes a moment to remind himself that his wings do not do the flying. His /will/ does the flying. He can ignore the winds (probably, hopefully) if he just /believes/ he can. He's flying because of magic, not physics, and the wings are just an outward representation of that.

So internally bolstered, Jon pulls up a shield around his body and then throws himself out the door of the bioship after Gabby. He's not trying to hit Match as a humanoid fastball the way she is; whether he's able to ignore the winds or not, he's throwing a bolt of magical energy at the Kryptonian, as much to get his attention away from the quinjet as anything else.

Conner Kent has posed:
Match hovers half a mile over the ice for a few seconds, an arrogant smirk in his lips. "You didn't bring Thor? I wanted a decent fight," he says to himself. Too far to be hear down there. Then Wasp because a forty feet giant and stomps one of the remaining anti-air cannons. "Okay! Cool. That will do it!" he decides, charging down.

Then Janet blast him, but he dodges right. And Gabby comes flying despite Winshear winds? "You can fly? Didn't know that," He asks mildly surprised, catching the young woman by the neck with insulting ease. And almost crushing her windpipe, as he has not enough experience controlling his strength yet. "Gabrielle, right? Clone of a clone, just like me. I guess I won't hurt you much, I'd like to talk with you later."

A contemptuous glance is directed at Jon, as his eyes go red. But before he can fry the winged man, he takes the magic blast on his chest. And he can be grateful the smartsuit is tough enough to save his ribs, because he oofs... eyes widening in surprise, almost dropping Gabby.

Not far down there, Windshear fails to see Viv coming and ignoring his wind. He flies hovers, chasing the Bioship, and then Lonnie laser hits his face. He really should wear a mask, because yes, a laser pointer can blind a man for a second, and that is dangerous in a battle. The winds lessen for a few instants as he shakes his head.

And at ground level Bart and Emi reach the gates of the bunkers, and they are opening quickly, revealing a small number of cyborgs, and just behinds several more of Nowhere's superhumans. The gaunt black-clad Dr. Templar seems to be leading Bright Eyes, Crush and a couple very large guys he had never seen. A seven foot tall man with metal implants (Psykill) and another powerfully built humanoid that goes bare-chested and seems to be made of white putty (Hammersmith).

Normal arrows can't harm the cyborgs, but those with nets, explosives or acid definitely, take a toll, dropping a couple and slowly down another pair.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
As the Quinjet would whiplash, Natasha would review her options. The flaps were responsive enough for a controlled crash if they didn't take any more hits, and they still had power to the engines, shut off as they were. The others seemed to be able to take care of Windshear. She couldn't keep up with the Kryptonian no matter what, and the Quinjet's weapons couldn't hurt him even if they could hit him. And trying to detonate the engines.. No.
Natasha would call out, "Everyone off, we're going down!" She moves to hit the emergency release button for the boarding ramp. Then she goes to kick the flaps back as deftly as she could. Going to take the Quinjet into a controlled dive as soon as she was sure that everyone was in a position they could get it off!
The resulting increased profile from the dropped ramp doing nasty things to the glide, but also helping to slow it down even more! Janet can get Valeria off the ship and can yank anyone else. Natasha can handle the jet going down. Probably. The sleek hull of the Quinjet has things breaking off it as it would descend. One of the wings is twisting about, untethered from damage. Natahsa goes to roll the Quinjet more to the opposite side, doing a partial spiral of it that would have her twisting hard in her seat. Then M'Gann is coming up to help, and the girl is stabilizing it. Natasha goes to speak to her comm <<Everyone's out, get back in the fight.>> Well, everyone but her. But she didn't count, it was the passengers. <<This thing's a target>> That instruction given to the Martian, Natasha is going to simply be ready to take it down for a landing, stable or not or for M'Gann to simply drop it since it clearly wasn't flying anywhere again unless someone went to throw it and jump out. Pistol drawn, then going towards the entrance.

Emiko Queen has posed:
Clinging to Bart's back as they leap out of the Bioship, the Speedster Express is a go! Once they're past the hurricane force winds in the air, Emiko is drawing her bow and nocking arrows. Being able to move at Bart's speed is a blessing, letting her nock, aim, and fire at far greater speeds than she normally could. Still, when the gates start opening and they start seeing borgs and metas coming out, she doesn't hesitate. White phosphorous arrows are used on the borgs, shot two at a time to hit as many targets as possible. The shift between Bart's speed and normal speed is difficult to calculate, but she's had the help of being able to experience just how fast Bart can run. She isn't likely to get a kill shot on all of the cyborgs, but she should be able to tag them all at least. "So which of the metas do you want to take on?"

Valeria Richards has posed:
Brainstorm finally manages to make sure she's not falling out of the Quinjet while Kaida just jumps for it. "I need one of the loudspeakers and the stereo!" Valeria calls out in regards to learning what hit them. "And a battery!" she adds and starts trying to make her way back to the cockpit.

Of course she doesn't get that chance as Jan drags her by that collar. The suit in white and matching the snowy climate, adding the GIRL emblem on her back along with an almost familiar V on the front in a circle and white background instead of the numeral four.

On the way down, Val finds herself hanging onto a growing Wasp and over comms to the enlarging woman there's mentions of 'Scale' and 'Density' along with 'Giant Strength'.

Of course when she's off loaded into the snow, Val double checks the status on her suit and forcefield. A look up for where the Quinjet is coming down and the young superhenius starts trudging towards and then hopefully a viable entry point where some of the others have pointed out as a spot to assemble. She at least gathers the parts she needs from what remains of the Quinjet when she finally reaches it and gets to work on something Ultrasonic. Fine for human ears, but those that have extra sensitive hearing that can get into the higher frequencies. It might just be very painful. Over comms to everyone Val warns. "Those of you with Kryptonian level hearing might wanna turn on any noise cancelling." she says and flips a switch on what was the stereo. To normal ears: Kickstart my Heart. To those with better than normal hearing.

A very loud and highpitched ultrasonic squeal.

Vivian Vision has posed:
When Vivian re-appears it's close enough to reach out and touch Windshear. Her fingers closing around his throat as she leans in close. "You will either cease using your abilities and surrender immediately," she notes. Her fingers tightening enough to be uncomfortable. "Or I will have no choice but to inflict catastrophic injuries until you change your mind."

Her eyes glow so bright it's painful to look at her.

"Your group have kidnapped my Great Aunt. So I would not recommend relying upon the mistaken notion that a hero will not cause you physical harm..."

Meanwhile the portion of Viv still controlling the Quinjets weapons systems prepare to resume firing if/when the winds stop. Target locking any targets that present themselves. Assuming any of the weapons still function after the bumpy landing and hurricane winds that is!

Gabby Kinney has posed:
The flying Honey Badger is caught out of the air easily by the quickly out-thrust hand of Match. The impact and momentum of the catch, along with his grip, squeezes the air from her throat. There's no reaction of pain from her though she can feel the hungry pulsing of her lungs in her chest while held in this manner. Instinctively her own hands come up to grasp at the arm around her throat, clinging on while dangling there.

The words he speaks are met with what would amount to a nod of agreement as to her status as a clone of a clone. He might feel that attempt at a gesture at least slightly. Then her lips work, soundlessly, to express a single word:

Sorry.

The blast that hits him is followed immediately after by Gabby's legs swinging up to latch around Match's waist to hold on tight as she turns from helplessly caught victim to a caged animal lashing out. One fist parts from his arm to punch at his shoulder with the sound of bone tearing through flesh in a sickening way. Her flesh. The claw extends shooting out for the soft spot of shoulder and chest. A non-lethal hit, but given the glint of Kryptonite green that is inset into the bone of her claw, it becomes instantly obvious to those who knew just WHERE she had hidden that 'secret weapon' Tim had bestowed upon her.

Lonnie Machin has posed:
Anarky turns off the laser pointer with a click, and then he puts it back into the tool pouch on his belt. He secures himself until he can safely exit the jet, and simply says "Thank you," before he's out and moving. While they go loud, he goes quiet, looking for a quiet place to insert himself into the base and begin looking for Red Robin and the other prisoners.

And opportunities to create a little chaos and confusion among the enemy along the way. That is what he's best at.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
For her part, Kaida is having a wonderful time. She's flying through the air on what amounts to a fancy surfboard and she's not gotten to have this much fun in a while. She looks from side to side as she moves, flipping and moving through air with chaos on her side (not just Anarky). Her movement in the air constantly buffeted by the powerful winds that keep her airborne. She's not going to have anywhere near even fifty percent control but she can at least keep moving. She spots what she's looking for though, down below and grins as she watches the things happening around her.

"So cool!" She declares to no one that could possibly hear her in the din of wind and explosions but she flies right under a massive explosion and flips her shield (and herself) fully upside down to catch the blast and then flips over again as she decends.

It takes a minute but she hits the ground with a skidding thud and rolls off her shield. She hops up and grins.

"Gotta find time to do that again." She laughs and races over to scoop up her shield before she is suddenly a small pop of sound. A tiny object hitting mach 1 in an instant. Shield first she aims for the ankle of a cyborg soldier with the force of what amounts to, well, a baseball thrown at mach 1. It's, suffice it to say, unpleasant.

"My name is Kaida Connolly. You kidnapped my friend. Prepare to die." She pulls out her sword and brandishes it.

Harper Row has posed:
Harper Row takes a napsack off of her back as she hits the ground running, trailing behind Bart and Emiko once they land and heading towards the incoming round of cyborg assaulters. She unzips the bag and dumps it in the air, calling out, "SWARM CONFIGURATION BTGG!"

The little drones that spill out immediately activate in mid-air, whirling and buzzing up into the air and charging towards the cyborgs. She gets out a control pad, helping to direct and activate weaponry as they go into formation and go up and above the cyborg troops, starting to drop down mini-grenades and shoot streams of flamethrower down into them.

They also begin to broadcast "Angel of Death" by SLAYER at a rather uncomfortable volume.

Janet van Dyne has posed:
It's gonna hurt like hell come tomorrow but Janet can shrink and grow with equal ease if she must. Fighting on the macro and the micro scale is a tactic that usually confounds even pretty quick and adaptable foes. Kryptonian reflexes are on an altogether difference scale-- but when she sees red blood arcing away from Gabby's fist-blades, Janet pounces like a shark on fresh meat. The socialite shrinks to a fly's scale, zips between Gabby and Match, and gives the clone a double-fist serving of that potent green bioplasma, right in his dumb face! It's a sucker punch on the tail end of Gabby's true blow and Janet doesn't hang around looking to see if she can score extra points. Instead she returns to full size, grabs Gabby by her free wrist, and adds some shrinking/growing/weight stability to reduce Gabby's fall into something that's not going to knock her unconscious if she lands on her noggin.

"Viv!" Janet shouts into her headset. "Break his neck or something already, and either go help Val or help with the f**ing Kryptonian!" she orders the android.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will tell Emiko "Releasing you here." He moves behind cover for just a moment to release the clasps and let her get down. "See if you put a hurting on Bright eyes, she is one of their range, I am going to go in after the good doctor." He tells her. Once she has her feet under her he winks at her, and is off, running at an odd angle not at the bad guys at least not at first, turning a few miles out and coming back at speed to try to his the Good Dr. With a Clothelines from Heck (approved by the comiccode)

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
Once the Quinjet is dealt with M'gann turns to look up, just in time to see Conner holding Gabby by the throat. Anger burns in her red eyes, hot and violent as she launches herself back in that direction.

When Gabby seems to turn the tables on the Kryptonian, stabbing him with that little green rock in her claw, it just makes M'gann smile, but it's a malicious one as she keeps coming and while Match deals with Kryptonite claw in the shoulder and Wasp bio-plasma to the face, M'gann unleashes a burst of searing red full strength Martian Vision straight into his back. As she does so, she also reaches out telekinetically in a 'force choke' of sorts, but instead of the throat she clamps down on the pressure points in Match's wrist as she tries to force the offending hand to release Gabby! "Let her go!" The rage filled words echo across the battlefield.

Jonathan Sims has posed:
So magic /does/ get through normal Kryptonian toughness. Good to have confirmation of that on the ground. Jon grins at Match. "What's the matter? Never run into magic before? That's the trouble with super-powered types; you forget nothing can be truly invulnerable. Entropy and all."

Jon's following Gabby's lead on how to handle Match, and as the mutant starts beating on him with that glinting green in her claw, he smirks briefly. He watched Oracle hand the Kryptonite over, so he knows what that is, and it's going to be more effective than magic. But if Match is like a normal human in terms of magic...

Jon drops the shield around himself, trusting his body armor if he gets hit. Then he pours every ounce of concentration aside from what he needs to stay in the air into summoning glowing emerald-colored rope to wrap itself around Match. He's aiming to keep the Kryptonian's arms bound more than anything, so he can't grab or hit anyone else, nor defend himself. Whether it's Gabby, Janet, M'gann or someone else that delivers the blows--well, that's up to them.

Look, maybe that's not /fair/, but fair isn't really the consideration just now. Rescuing their kidnapped friends is what matters. And maybe giving some of the NOWHERE people a chance to defect.

"If you really want to talk, this might be a good time to surrender!" he shouts at the Kryptonian. "You've /really/ pissed off some people who are /very/ willing to kill!"

Conner Kent has posed:
Match starts moving away from Jon when Gabby stabs him. Maybe too quickly, as the tips of her claws shatter against his skin, but then the Kryptonite radiation begins to affect him, and... the first thing is they are falling, and he was a hundred yards up.

The second thing is the smartsuit protects him, but still the tips of the jagged, broken claws draw some blood, which makes the Kryptonite even more painful. It is not that it saps his powers, it also hurts like hell.

And so far Match has gotten hurt only when someone like Fuji punched him full strength. "It hurts... so this is pain?" He tries to push Gabby away. "I can't fly!" He realizes, panicking. That ice down there is hard as rock! But... he is not going to have to worry about it, as Janet blasts him with the wasp sting and in his weakened state that knocks him out for good. He misses the burns from M'gan, the hypersonic whistle and Jon's berating, but he will have to deal with the bruises later!

Interestingly enough Windshear hurricane ends about 10 yards from the ground, so landing the Quinjet was not as difficult as it seemed. Likewise those that make to the ground have it easy. Relatively speaking, as it is like -20 Fahrenheit, snowing and pretty dark. Also, having a robot threaten to break the neck tends to be bad to keep concentration. "W-what... who..." the oriental young man is not super-strong, but he can push pretty hard with the air, just not enough to break Vivian's grip if she enhances her density. Which also means they are going down. "Stop... alright, I'll do it!" He yells.

Most of the heroes are on the ground, though. There are a dozen cyborgs, and the Outsiders really had never seen so many together. Fortunately, they came prepared. Harper drones shatter the armor of some, and Emi's arrows set others on fire, another is toppled by Kaida, a leg broken. They open fire with the machine guns, but Bart is just too quick.

Then the metahumans step in. A flash of blinding light covers the area, brighter than the sun, and Psykill opens fire with massive telekinetic blasts, aiming towards the fliers, M'gan and Jon. Hammersith, hits the ground with both hands, trying to catch Bart in a shockwave, while Crush elongates an arm to punch Red Arrow from twenty yards away. "Match is down!" Yells Templar. "Well, that is what happens when you send a boy that can be neutered by a space rock to do a man's job," replies Psykill calmly.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
And now it's go time. Natasha Romanoff keeps her pistol in front of her as she would jog in towards the entrance. Other hand readying a large knife as she would head along. Trusting the others to contain the Kryptoinan and the outer guards. She's making her way inside. Natasha's intent on just bypassing the guards and defenses outside if at all possible, using stealth skills to try and go around them. She's quiet. Leaving not even tracks on the fresh snow of her passing. Attempting to just simply go along guards, defenses, and security like she was never there.
The others might have mastery of technology, phasing, powers beyond that which man could imagine.. Natasha had skills honed for nearly a century, from a young child in Stalingrad to the modern age. And so the Black Widow would try and work her way on inside, in total silence and hopefully without leaving so much as a trace of her passing. Clicking on her comm <<I'm going to try and work my way inside>>

Their priority is to get the kids out. No matter the circumstances. No matter the cost. Knife in one hand, pistol in the other, Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, moved in the shadows in the dance of death in the darkness.
She leaves the freaks, the metahumans to the others along with a <<Call me if you need backup>> She trusts them to handle the killers up front unless they tell her otherwise. Their priority is the kids.

Valeria Richards has posed:
With the stero continuing to blast out ultra sonics in case Match wakes up. Val starts making herway to where others are gathering to make their entrance into the base proper. Waves of her hand and wrist computers at the cyborg minions gets them scanning for any and all wireless networking so Brainstorm can start on the next phase of her contributions.

Cyberwarfare. The Haxxors. Thirtyfirst Century tech it may be but Val has a mind that might just be timeless. So if and when she finds a network, her wrist computer is already set to start intrusion software and countermeasures and alert Valeria once she has access.

Catching upto Natasha she nods and with regular noise making it hard to hear she keeps her coms ready to bypass it directly into earpeaces. "Want me to jimmy doors or knock like my uncle?" the super genius asks the super spy.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision drags Windshear to the ground. Thankfully without having to kill him. Once safely landed she doesn't really have the time to disarm or restrain him properly. So she just phases her hand through his brain.

A synthezoids phasing reacts poorly to electricity. Causing a great deal of pain. But it also doesn't tend to be all that enjoyable for a living subject. In this case the teenage hero has calibrated her phasing so it scrambles the electrons passing through Windshears brain.

He'll probably wake up in a few hours time with the kind of migraine people get when they try out-party Janet...

One N.O.W.H.E.R.E operative down she begins to advance upon the re-enforcements. The blazing light from her eyes growing even more intense as she opens fire with a series of energy blasts. Targeting cyborgs and enhanced individuals.

The portion of her mind still accessing the Quinjet unleashes hell. Every remaining missile launching to rain down upon those defending the facility.

Lonnie Machin has posed:
Where he's skulking by, Anarky gets a good look at Psykill, and he mutters to himself, "Wow. I wonder if he wakes up every morning and realizes he got the cybernetics booby-prize?" He looks around, looking for a security door, an access hatch - preferably one that isn't going to be watched. He's fairly confident he can hack into NOWHERE's security system, but then again he is sometimes notoriously overconfident.

"Let's see, if I was a clandestine organization out to violate people's bodily autonomy, where would I keep my prisoners..."

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney keeps her fist plunged as far in against Match's shoulder as she can. Sure, the suit keeps a good portion fo it away, and her claw does shatter, but it doesn't stop her from keeping it there. Especially due to his reaction. This is pain. It clicks something in Gabby's own mind--Her own inability to feel pain which has the angry look on her face turn to one of concern.

At least until Janet flits in to pummel him with her own punches, and then dips back to grab her and lighten her proverbial load. Feeling significantly lighter she keeps her legs latched around the now unconcious Match as they start to fall.

Tied up. Attacked by the full blast of telekenetic and psychic fury from M'Gann. And now falling, she hangs on to her current target.

Now that her opposite hand was free she claps it over the broken claw, fingers scrabbling to grab and scoop up the bits of bone and that sliver of Krytponite. If she lost that, it wouldn't be good at all. Without the time to see what was what out of the shards of bone and Krytponite the entire handful of it is stuffed down the front of her suit for later retreival. At the least it wouldn't do her any damage other than itching.

Then, with a sigh and mutter of, "I'm probably going to regret this," she rolls mid-air so that she would hit first when landing. At least with her weight reduced due to the Pym particles it slows the fall to a more cushy one.

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
The incoming telekinetic blasts from Psykill manage to get M'gann's attention, which is perhaps a good thing (for Match anyway) as it distracts her from shattering his bones while he's vulnerable. Turning in Psykill's direction, the telekinetic blast meets a nigh invulnerable telekinetic shield as the BioShip decloaks behind her where she floats in the air, lending its power to her own. "So raw, so unfocused." The nigh malevolent M'gann calls down to Psykill, contempt dripping from her words. "Let me show you how that's done." And holding her hands out, fingers bent like claws, palms facing each other, she slowly starts to bring them towards each other as powerful telekinetic fields gather around Psykill and begin to press inward around him mimicking the motion of her hands as she attempts to crush him like an aluminum can.

Jonathan Sims has posed:
With Windshear down Jon has to divert a dignificantly smaller chunk of his attention to flying, so that's a relief. Falling Honey Badger? /Not/ a relief. He has a momentary vision of having to explain to Tim and Phoebe, or worse yet, /Deadpool/, or worst of all *Laura*, that he let Gabby get smooshed into paste beneath the weight of a Kryptonian clone of a clone. He prepares to summon up a cushion beneath where it looks like Gabby and Match are going to fall.

Which is why he's distracted when Psykill's blasts come in. One of them hits him right in the wing and he goes tumbling through the air. Ouch. He manages to right himself by dropping all concentration on ropes and cushions and reminding himself he can fly even with a bruised wing. If the Kryptonian wakes up in the next couple of minutes he won't be tied up anymore.

Since the Martian's crushing Psykill, Jon takes the opportunity to fire more of the magical energy he used to hurt Match at the metahumans near the cyborg. It's likely to hit them harder than it hit Match, since he's pouring more power into the blasts, at the expense of his own defense.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will come in luckily he is not where he was when Hammersmith come in for the ground pound, he is now coming up beside the bad doctor and cutting him for a flip, and leaving the man out like a light. He will look to the others and starts snowballs at the other villains to help distract them from the others. He tries giving his friends an advantage to close the distance.

Conner Kent has posed:
With Match down, most of the N.O.W.H.E.R.E. agents look pretty worried. Even Templar, who usually is snidely arrogant. After all, that is an -Avengers- Quinjet.

Not Psykill, though. He stands his ground, and when M'gann attempts to crush him telekinetically, he pushes back with ridiculous strength.

"Children," he grunts, firing again a telekinetic blast. Only this time it is ten times stronger. The ice around him shatters with the shockwave. Then he glances at Lonnie. "Are you trying to hack my systems, boy? They are not just grafted metal, they are me, they are alive. Begone!" And he sends an electromagnetic pulse towards they young man.

The others are not faring so well, Templar himself is punched into oblivion by Bart, who moves too fast for his shadow tendrils to intercept. Bright Eyes gets knocked down by Jon's mystical blast, although she attempts to retaliate with a laser eyebeam. Hammersmith moves to protect her, he can't catch Bart!

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanoff would speak to Valeria along the commpiece <<Whatever's faster. We need to break the front door open as efficiently as possible. They know we're here and that we're engaged on multiple levels. We have to keep moving before they can bog us down in reinforcements and we have to fight our way corridor by corridor>> The woman that has seen far more than her share of close quarters fighting knows the risks.
She trusts that Valeria can decide which will be faster; hacking or smashing. Natasha just stations herself on overwatch. Not attempting to fire or engage unless an adversary is about to directly attack them. The intent is to hopefully keep going forwards and get inside as rapidly as possible. The number of enemies rushing up to try and contain the frontal assault will hopefully make for some nice cover for the infiltration.

The sounds of the Quinjet weapons system opening fire gets a smile of approval; not that anyone would ever be able to notice it or what it was even about. Speaking to the comms <<With luck we can get in quickly>>

Valeria Richards has posed:
Valeria might seem a little smug when Lonnie gets caught sniffing the network while a little chirp goes off on her wrist computer and with a grin waves a finger over a holodisplay from it.

Voila, doors open and under Brainstorm's control. And while she's there, she routes some extra power and expands her forcefields, drawing from strength enhancement of the Thing Suit tech to power the shield. So Lonnie, Nat and anyone else around her will be covered by the field.

"Knock Knock!" she says over comms and adds a little extra teasing to their opposition.

Every timepeice on the network changes it's display.

"CLOBBERING!"

Lonnie Machin has posed:
Lonnie's hit by that electromagnetic blast - being hit by an EM pulse is a pretty electrifying affair, and for a moment things go all sparkly, before he looks up, and he says, "Oh yeah? They're alive, huh? They're you?" He shakes his head, "You know, they've jacked you up with all those cybernetics but they couldn't fix your Bell's Palsy?

He puts his tablet away as it's rebooting, and then says, "It's not that I'm hacking you," He says, "It's that I've already hacked you. I didn't break in and take any data, but I did upload something."

Text begins to scroll across the cyborg's Heads-Up display, eating up memory and interfering with his vision.

'It is thus the justice (one would have to say) which must be the main responsibility of a sovereign. Since it is the prime interest of the many people whom they control, they must give it priority over any other interest of their own. What then becomes of Machiavel's recommendations of naked self-interest, self-aggrandizement, unleashed ambition and despotism? The sovereign, far from being the absolute Master of the people which are under his domination, is only the first servant...'

The text of Anti-Machiavel continues to attack the Cyborg, who probably doesn't appreciate it.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision glances around, then scoops up a piece of the debris from the Quinjet being shot down. Her hands crushing the metal into a softball shape like she was making a snowball. Her hand comes back and, calibrating her throwing stance to match a professional baseball pitcher, she hurls it at Hammersmiths head.

Putting all her enhanced strength behind the throw. It's less like being hit by a baseball and more like a being shot by a cannonball.

And if one isn't enough? Then with mechanical precision she repeats the motion. Over and over until the barrage either drops him or she runs out of Quinjet.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
After the initial flip, Gabby risks looking back over her shoulder at the fight still going on below. There were still some big hitters down there, though they were making good progress. It only takes a moment of thought. Then she digs her fingers into the suit that Match is wearing to better grasp hold of him. With a deep breath she flings her weight to the side, rolling them around again.

This worked in the cartoons. With just the right amount of shifting of her weight from one side to the other, she uses Match's own body like a skateboard or surfboard as they plummet down. Down.

A cry of, "DEATH FROM ABOVE!" Hollers out just before the pair of one knocked-out Kryptonian and a Honey Badger come plummeting down toward the as-yet untouched Bright Eyes.

Harper Row has posed:
Harper Row moves in rapidly to try and neutralize cyborgs who have been downed. She carries an electrified prod of extremely high voltage, capable of shorting out their systems and rendering them inert. She can only use it at close range, though, so she saves it for when they get wounded enough to let her take advantage of them.

She zots a few thoroughly, m aking their limbs twitch and jump, then moves on to the next one, trying to focus on what she can do and not worry about getting swept up in metahuman battles out of her weight class.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will pick the doctor up, and move to the quinjet wreckage and start looking around for stuff to tie him, and gag him, so that he can't talk or move, and is away from the others. He looks out over the battlefield to see who might need help.

Janet van Dyne has posed:
Janet links up with Natasha as the Widow sets her sights on the front door; she gives the redhead a critical, worried once-over, looking for any blood or sign of injury. Seeing none a relieved sigh relaxes her shoulders, and she gives Natasha's arm a quick squeeze along with a smile conveying reassurance and affection for the assassin's skilled contributions so far.

The Outsiders and their allies seem to be doing a fine job handling the leftovers. Janet leaves them to the work, though contributes in her own way as a struggling cyborg tries to re-arm itself and raise a weapon in its destroyed arm. Before the combatant can aim their gun at the assault crew, Janet flits over, puts a palm against the back of its neck, and virtually decapitates it with a blast of precise bioplasma. It drops like a rock, no longer able to even sustain its own life support. She stops in front of the doors and gives Valeria an approving, judicious nod at her grand entrance.

"All right, let's get in there and rescue my daughter," she says, and starts heading deeper into the bunker.

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
The BioShip's telekinetic shields, strong enough to absorb assaults from other starships and denizen creatures of space absorb the brunt of Psykill's attack, dispersing most of it harmlessly even as it trains its weapons upon him. Functionally similar to Martian eyes but much larger, the gunports emit concentrated beams of red death in Psykill's direction on a scale much larger than regular Martian Vision, if he will not be crushed he will be melted it seems.

Even as the BioShip moves to engage M'gann herself disappears, vanishing from sight and like a silent invisible wraith, she closes the distance between herself and the telekinetic man-machine, phasing through the intervening obstables as she goes. It is only when she stands right before him at point blank range that she reappears and becomes solid again, leveling a punch at the center mass of his solar plexus with every ounce of her super strength and telekinesis behind it that she can muster, muscles shapeshifting internally into a new configuration just to add even more power to the blow.

Conner Kent has posed:
Most of the cyborg soldiers are down, some missing limbs after the Quinjet final barrage. A few were still trying to fight, but Valeria and Lonnie are interfering with their systems, and Harper quickly takes advantage to knock them out with electrical shocks. With so many systems failing, they can't redirect the charges.

Match hits the ground, still unconscious, and with much of his power gone, he breaks a few bones. Still, he is a Kryptonian, he heals fast and he will be fine in a few hours. Bright Eyes, who had Gabby falling on her, will spend a few weeks in the hospital. Hammersmith gets hit from behind by a chunk of metal hurled by Viv, and despite his weird appearance, there must be a brain inside his head, because he is knocked out too.

That leaves Pyskill alone, who has some of his cybernetics malfunctioning, much to his annoyance. He shuts down, restarts a few. It is not as if he needs them, but they are useful. The Bioship cannons put him into defensive for a few instants, as he raises a dome-shaped forcefield to stop the blasts, but he is building a huge psychokinetic charge. Likely he will kill many of his allies too if he releases it, but he seems not to care much.

Unfortunately for him M'gann is -inside- his forcefield, and when she appears, he is not quick enough to stop her. The TK-enhanced punch sends him flying fifty yards. He lands head-first, and maybe that is what knocks him out. He really doesn't look badly injured.

Nat, Lonnie and Janet met huge armoured man as they enter the base. But he raises his arm and waves when he sees them. "Hello. I am Fuji. Miss Nadia told me you were coming. I... uh, I sent an email."
