Oliver Queen has posed:
Oliver Queen is having kind of a quiet night with Hella visiting. Not exactly a formal date, more just a hang-out as the two of them have grown more comfortable together over the last few weeks, seeing each other when they could, not putting pressure on it. Just letting things develop naturally.

A variety of take-out was in his room, his bedroom large enough to have its own sofa and entertainment center, the size of many people's apartments all to himself. He's wearing a t-shirt and jeans, shoes kicked off, twirling some pasta around a fork and taking a big bite as he gestures to the TV, "It's weird how much I like this show, given that I know absolutely nothing about baking."

Hella Rokkurdisardottir has posed:
Hella had already finished her 'half' of the meal by the midway point of the episode -- sometime after the signature bake, but before the judging on the technical bake. Now, she's snuggled up to Ollie's side, giving him room enough on his dominant side to eat and move a bit, should he need to. Her head is resting on his shoulder as she listens to him comment about the show, talking around a huge bite of pasta.

Hella's hair is down, today; the long, white locks drape prettily over her shoulders and down her back. She's wearing a sports bra and some workout leggings, the color selection maybe a bit surprising; a slight deviation from her patented white-and-pink theme, she's chosen to go with black-and-pink.

Lifting a hand toward the TV in indigation, "Why she not do water bath? Her cheesecake will be dry as bone!" she grumbles. Then, in reply to Ollie's comment, she grins up at him, "You learn, passively, from watching. You think about if food would taste good or bad. Maybe how you would do differently. Lots of things to enjoy about show, whether or not you cook."

Oliver Queen has posed:
Oliver Queen takes a sip of his beer and considers, "I'm not so sure. I've watched a lot of these now and I don't think I've learned anything at all. Except how important some people can think a handshake is from a weird guy who stares at you too hard. Seriously, that dude makes me want to smack him in the face," Ollie says.

"He's just got too much ego," he adds. Not that Ollie's entirelyf ree of such things.

"I do like cheesecake, though. And I don't just mean shots of you in your underwear," he jokes.

Hella Rokkurdisardottir has posed:

Hella laughs at the observation about the steely-eyed chef who takes himself farrrrrr too seriously. She nods her agreement, "Yes. Someone /should/ smack him in face. I dare you to do, if you ever see him." She smiles wickedly to herself. There's a good chance Ollie /could/ meet that person, at some point in time.

"If I got his handshake, I squeeze little too hard and make his baby blue eyes bulge."

She gives her boyfriend a wry grin, shaking her head as it lies on his shoulder. "What shots of me in underwear? You have none!"

Oliver Queen has posed:
Oliver Queen smiles, "I would, too. I could afford the lawsuit. He'd probably provoke me anyway. I'd just buy him a restaurant or something and we'd call it even," he says.

"And I've had one of your handshakes. His eyes wouldn't just bulge. They'd pop out and land in somebody's cherry tart," he says. "And no, I don't have any yet, but there are images in my mind's eye. I got very good at that sort of thing when I was trapped on the island. No media, no books, no distractions, just my own thoughts. Of course, I hadn't met you yet then, but it was good practice for after I had."

Hella Rokkurdisardottir has posed:
Hella shakes her head, "I wouldn't squeeze so hard I ruin episode! Show is good, even if he is douchebag. I like other lady, too. She enjoys good drink; she knows how to live. But, her lipstick...too bright. Like neon on skin."

She strokes Ollie's thigh lightly, the topic of the island resurfacing. It was a very formative time in his life and he's got complicated feelings about it. "What will you do if fantasy is better than reality, hmm?" she teases. "Mind makes things perfect. Reality, not so perfect."
