Synopsis: Wade decides to show Inez his room on the Asteroid and after some more heart to heart, they decide to use the quarters as the site for their second honeymoon.
Cast of Characters: Wade Wilson, Inez Temple

Wade Wilson has posed:
Wade felt it was high time that Inez managed to see his -other- hideaway. That was information that wives tended to sus out on their own, right? And while Inez was about as far from the 'average' wife, he still felt some things she was entitled to having.

So he took her to the Asteroid.

He is lucky to head off any of the higherups--don't want to have -that- conversation right now, probably next time... maybe--and after signing Inez in, makes his way to his apartment at the far end of the residental wing of the station. He's in the red today, he likes to keep Brotherhood work and X-Force work seperate, even if there is some overlap. Pressing a keycard to a panel near the sliding door he waits for the light above the door to go from red to green before the door opens and he steps in. "Welcome to my humble, abode" he says, slipping off the mask and tossing it aside onto a comfortable, if rather lavish, sitting chair in the corner. "It's not much, but it keeps me warm against well..." he gestures to the vast expanse of space beyond the window.

Inez Temple has posed:
Inez is amused at mention of another 'pad' he wants to show her to, expecting he has multiple squirreled away all over the globe, but nothing could have prepared her for an asteroid in space. When they arrive, she is, frankly, gawking. Staring open-mouthed around at... everything. Then she's hurrying after Wade and trying to hold down the excitement at being IN SPACE.

Following after him, keeping hold of his hand so she doesn't trail too far behind, Inez is looking every whichway, then finally back to Wade as they approach the door. Stepping into the room, her eyes go wide as she takes in the amount of hot pink and LED lights and colors and the Hello Kitty everywhere. "Damn Wade... I seen nightclubs that're less posh'n this place." Moving towards the action figures, she grins, "I remember when ya got th' Wolverine one.. " She flicks a glance back at him and chuckles, "No Angel or Iceman?"

Wade Wilson has posed:
"They's squirrelled away in a storage garage in..." Wade replies, "I think D.C. if I've not mistaken. Just haven't gotten around to pulling them out yet" he says. "It's a process. Those were the ones from my place in The Kitchen" he says. "Hence why you didn't see them there."

He moves to the bed and sits on the corner of it, looking around the room. "It's not Sion, but I make due. Besides, Betsy cheats... she's British." He smiles. "I'm glad you like it and the view. I figure, you give me amazing vistas to look at every time you're in the room, so I might as well return the favor once in a while." He looks to a mirror to one side of the bed and, not focusing on himself, says, "That, my friends, is what we call a smooth line" he winks and returns his attention to Inez without missing a beat.

Inez Temple has posed:
Setting the figure carefully back in the window frame, Inez turns back to Wade in time to catch him talking to the mirror, then smiles. Strolling towards him, Inez pulls her hat off and tosses it into the same chair as his mask, "Yeah, but th' question remains... is it th' mountains, th' plains, or th' wetlands ya like th' most?" Chuckling, she seats herself next to him and leans in to nudge at his shoulder with her own. "Thanks fer bringin' me here, Wade. This is... amazin'. I ain't got th' better words t' describe it."

Leaning in, she kisses the corner of his mouth and smiles, "So are we spendin' th' night or do ya gotta sneak me outta here b'fore th' housemama get home?" Winking at him, she leans back on her hands and looks up at the ceiling, laughing to find more pink.

Wade Wilson has posed:
Deadpool grins. "I like the whole tour de force, including the carpets and the drapes" he winks. "I like variety." He waggles his non-existent eyebrows before smiling at the kiss and leaning back a bit. His elbows rest on the plush Hello Kitty bedspread. "You're on the guest list. We stay as long as you want to stay. I don't think Mystie will have issues with you being here."

He tracks her gaze. "I like the color scheme. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy and reminds me of the finer things in life. Besdies..." he tugs at his outfit. "It's a shade of my favorite color so it gets an easy pass." He gazes at her, having grown more accustomed to the marvel (get it?) of his Space view after the fifteenth or sixteenth time he saw it. Having Inez lit by the stars and the ambient lighting gives him a new appreciation for what he had all but forgotten and is slowly recovering.

"So... been up to any fun since the mission at the factory?" he asks. While he would be more than happy to jump her and christen the bed between them, he has grown as a person... some. Small talk first, personal attention after.

Inez Temple has posed:
Laughing lightly, Inez grins at him, "That's true. Let's see... in th' time b'fore we started seein' each other... ya dated one man, married an alien female, an' there were that bitty lil redhead ya had th' hots fer... t' say nothin' o' yer fondness fer Spider-Man. Always been one fer tastin' everythin' ya could in life. Can't says I blame ya." Shifting onto one elbow to face him, she grins, "Ahhhhhh, are we gettin' a second honeymoon t' make up fer missin' th' last bit o' th' first?"

She looks around the room again, laughing lightly, "Ever see that commercial wit' th' woman that's talkin' bout female birth control? She's in this big pink room, all soft lightin' an' everythin'... comes out she's sposedly speakin' from inside her own pink clam?" Inez lets her eyes flicker around the room, "Yer not jes' shootin' a commercial, ya moved in!"

Looking back to Wade, she shrugs, "Things ended wit' Jimmy. We jes'.. weren't as compatible as we first thought. No harm, no foul. Close t' bein' done with all th' renovation fer th' buildin', so that'll provide me some honest income t' keep on th' books. Otherwise, been pretty quiet."

Wade Wilson has posed:
"That's sort of what I was going for... I like the confines of the female reproductive system..." Wade says, giving Inez a more than suggestive look. "Safe and warm and... when you find one that likes you back... nothing better."

He shakes his head as he listens to her telling of her and the Hudson of the Logan clan. "Can't win them all" he says. "Good that you were able to end on pleasant terms instead of something more explosive." He's had his own fair share of explosive ends to relationships, more often he's the one getting exploded.

He pauses and nods. "Also good to have gainful employment. Though, some of the things you walk around in--all of which I approve of whole-heartedly--are going to turn that place into a terrible HBO Series 'My Hot Landlady' or something. You're going to have all your tennants either pining for you or jealous of you or both." He smiles at her. "I'm in the third column, but I'm allow to be there so no limelight for me."

Another pause and his expression sobers. "I spoke to Sara about you. We... decided not to call things off between us. She thought being married would force me down to earth... which... not sure there's much force anywhere to that can do that. But she wants to meet you... looking forward to it, actually. Just need to set up a time and place for it."

His expression goes a little slack as he remembers the imaginary scenario he envisions of the three of them in a more private setting. Wade's Spank Bank was certainly appreciative of that little tidbit, likely or unlikely as it may ever be.

Inez Temple has posed:
"I can imagine," Inez waggles her brows at him, a habit she picked up FROM him, oddly enough. Chuckling, she murmurs, "Well mine certainly likes ya jes' fine. An' ya know yer always welcome there. Like Cheers... always knows yer name, an' yer always on th' VIP list." WInking, she tugs him in briefly for a kiss.

Pulling back after a few pleasantly spent moments of enjoyable kissing, she nods, "Yeah, he.. he's a good man. An' I ain't always a good woman. It were fer th' best. But I sincerely hope he does find someone what suits him." Letting out a chuckle, she murmurs, "Yeah, I still remember on o' th' weddin' 'gifts'... it had a big ol' red paper heart wit' yer name on it... an' it were tickin'."

There's a laugh for his imagined scenario of her rental property and she's shaking her head, "There'll be no takin' rent in trade fer me. I c'n find 'mown bedsport if'n I want it. Them boys an' gals will hafta find their own." She pokes a finger at his chest, "Yer also th' one wit' a key t' th' penthouse door. Puts ya in a pretty special party o' one." The key is produced from between her cleavage, offered over to him with a wink.

When he mentions the girlfriend, she falls quiet and watches him carefully. There's a smile when he says they decided to keep their own relationship. "Good, that's real good. Way ya talked bout her, I would hate it if I were th' reason y'all broke up," her smile is warm, genuinely happy for him. A tleast until the laughter breaks it up, "Wade, there ain't a force in -any- universe that could make ya down t'earth. From what ya've tol' me in th' past, ya weren't quite right even b'fore th' voices an' audience." The smile returns and she gives a nod, "Happy t' meet her! Y'all jes' say when 'n' where, I'll put m'party hat on."

Wade Wilson has posed:
Wade nods. "I've always been a few fries short of a happy meal, if you know what I'm saying" he says. "Just the mutation work and the torture sort of knocked all of them loose and made them all the more stark in their... appearances." He gestures to the aforementioned mirror, where his audience currently resides."

But his eyes track to the key. "You're... letting me have the key to the penthouse?" he asks, sounding both awed and apprehensive. "I... Inez, I wasn't looking for any sort of payback when I bought you your place. I mean, sure it was the start of you and me and well..."

He reaches over and taker her left hand, his gloved fingers playing over the wedding band there. His own likely lies under the earth in Orlando. "But I... I'm honored. And... awed. Really." He reaches out and takes hold of the key offered to him, looking at it with a strange sort of perplexed expression on his face, like he's not sure what to do with it. It's possible he's never been offered a place -with- someone. Usually he freeloafed or had his own pad.

Inez Temple has posed:
Inez lifts a small shrug and smiles at him, "Personally, I think it's part o' what makes ya so charmin'. It's always a surprise wit' ya, but underneath all th' crazy... there's a carin' heart. An' there ain't enough crazy in th' world t'make me overlook that." She flicks a glance past towards the mirror, then back to him with a chuckle, "I even got used t'th' audience."

She glances down tot he key, then back to him and gives a nod, smiling. "I know ya weren't, an' that's what made things get started. But more'n that.. yer always welcome anywhere I am, Wade. Anyone that tries t'say different is gonna get ousted -real- quick."

Inez reaches up and runs her fingers across his cheek, that smile still in place, and he can feel the warmth of the gold band against the bumpy skin, "I love ya Wade Wilson. An' I want ya t'always know ya got somewhere t'go where someone cares. Where yer always welcome, an' wanted."

Wade Wilson has posed:
Inez's words make him smile and it's his turn to move forward to draw her into a deep kiss. He manages to disengage from her for a moment and says, "And I love you too, Inez Temple." He stays there in close proximity to her face, her blue eyes and fair skin filling his vision.

"I think words like that are a great precursor to that second honeymoon you were talking about" he says. He looks at the walls. "One thing about these walls. They're all soundproof, or so I hear." He kisses her again, this one more a peck but carrying as much affection as the previous one despite the intensity difference. He grins at her.

"How about we test it?" he says. "And make each other scream in the ways that have only the slightest to do with pain."

Inez Temple has posed:
Inez is more than happy to enjoy and savor that kiss, taking the opportunity to press in against him. When he wrnagles free, she can't help but smile brilliantly at him, "I've waited years t'hear that... worth ev'ry second." She rubs the tip of her nose against his, that smile softening.

"Oooooo, are ya threatenin' me wit' a good time, Wade Wilson?" A bit of the wicked touches her smile even as she leans in to whisper, "Think we c'n turn this room into a Jackson Pollock paintin'? I ain't opposed t' tryin'..."

PUlling back, she winks at him and gives a nod, "Damn straight. Now c'mere, m'love, an' let's enjoy this honeymoon..."
