Synopsis: Two telepaths snark over gossip and presumptions at Xavier's.
Cast of Characters: Emma Frost, Betsy Braddock

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost is currently sitting over in one of the small chairs in the library. She's rubbing over at her temples and skimming a note from Scott over and looking very, very annoyed over while letting out a sigh. Of light irritation and perhaps even amusement as she would look over some papers.
"I'm not sure whether to be impressed or not.."

Betsy Braddock has posed:
Never one to shy away from being nosy, Betsy glances over at Emma as she hears the remark while stepping into the library. "Something clever, or something profoundly unwise?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would look up and sigh, "Oh hello, Elizabeth. And for some reason I appear to be the one to blame for the antics of.. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Esme." One of the blonde quintuplets.

Betsy Braddock has posed:
"No. I am not." Betsy makes her way over towards Emma, peering over towards the paper but not reading it. That would be rude. "What happened?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would mm, "Well, the girl and her sisters are.. Complicated. But Esme was apparently attempting to cheat on exams and there's at least some level of suspicion that I might have incentivized her to do so as some sort of test or evaluation. I'm not sure whether to be aghast or impressed at being thought of having such base cunning and deviancy."

Betsy Braddock has posed:
Betsy Braddock tilts her head. "Why would you induce someone to cheat?" She considers for a moment. "And who would levy such an accusation? You may be many things, but I cannot see how a cheat is among them. Especially when you have no incentive to do so."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would shake her head, "Oh, life is about cheating, Elizabeth. Playing the odds to one's favor. However attempting to manipulate a student to insert a virus into the computer network to cheat on exams is rather blatant." She would sound amused, "I would have hoped that Scott would have assumed if I had any motives I would have gone for something far subtler and discrete. I'm disappointed he thinks so little of me that I could only do something so blatant."

Betsy Braddock has posed:
An eyebrow arches. "Emma. Darling. Sometimes it seems you forget that you are trying to fit in here with the 'good guys'." Betsy flashes a grin. "We do not talk about cheating and manipulation nearly so much here." She shakes her head. "Nonetheless. Simply tell them you had nothing to do with it."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would look vaguely annoyed, "I would hope that if I am to be suspected of something for pure base chiccanery I might be given some credit in the matter."

Betsy Braddock has posed:
That evokes a musical laugh from Betsy. "Even when you are insulted by an accusation, you are prideful that you are not being accused of something diabolical enough." She shakes her head slowly. "You really are a unique one, Emma. Don't ever change." She waggles her fingers at Emma, and then heads onward into the library.
