Shang-Chi has posed:
Podium.

It's as star studded as it always is. There expensive cars all along the front of this building, some of them are parked and others are being approached by red vested individuals that are clearly working for Podium. The paparazzi that are on the outskirts of the entrance to Podium are snapping as many pictures and shouting as many questions as possible to all those that are way more red carpet dressed than any of the workers that are making their lives so much easier.

As the next expensive vehicle rolls up to the valet booth, two of the red vested valets are hanging near the valet booth; Shaun and Katy. The two of them do a little Rock, Paper, Scissors and Katy wins. She does a celebratory dance as she moves up to the car to get her valet-ing on. Shaun grins as he leans on the valet booth to await his turn to park or retrieve an expensive vehicle of his own.

Mika Yang has posed:
    Well, the next car up is a very expensive japanese luxery car. An Infiniti. The door opens, and a young Chinese Japanese woman steps out of the vehicle wearing a black dress with a thigh high slit in it. She is careful as she slides out of the car, and hands the keys over to 'Shaun'. "Not a scratch, sir. Not a scratch. Its a studio rental.", she says. The woman blushes a bit as this is a business meeting with one of the studio execs. He just wants to make sure that Mika understands a few things.

    The woman sighs a bit as she gathers herself, and heads into the resturnant. She really hopes that this doesn't turn into a long lecture of how much the studio pays for her education, and how she has certain obigations to fulfill. She hates those meetings. At least the valet here isn't too bad on the eyes. Thats at least a small plus.

Shang-Chi has posed:
Shaun tries his hardest to hide his grin as the nice car pulls up. He's already on his way to make sure he's holding the door open for her. When the personalized instructions come, Shaun just offers a nod and a trustworthy grin. "Not a scratch. You can count on me." Shaun dangles the keys trustworthily (is that even possible?) and gives a bit of a wave to the woman as she heads into the restaurant.

Shaun climbs behind the wheel and starts the car up, pulling it away from the building and taking it down the street to get it parked up nicely. It'll take him a little bit to walk back to the building but he'll get there.

Mika Yang has posed:
    Well, the dinner was decent, and well, the exec just did what she expected. The woman listened, and ate her dinner politely. After about an hour of dinner meeting, the exec bows, and promptly pays for the meal. Mika gets up, and bows as well. The pair leave after a short time. Mika heads over to Shaun, and presents a ticket. "May I go with? I just want to be able to get going fairly fast to return the car before the studio wants to charge me an overnight fee.", she says. The woman offers a smile.

    "I do tip fairly well.", she offers.

Shang-Chi has posed:
Shaun grins as he grabs the ticket and nods. "Uh... sure. Give me one second." Shaun moves over to the valet booth and gets into a little chatterment with Katy. While he's getting the keys to the Infinity, Katy looks over his shoulder at Mika and makes the 'watching you' with her fingers and eyes in Mika's direction. She straightens up when Shaun gets the keys and they dap it up before he moves back to Mika's side.

"It's not far." Shaun motions towards the walkway and walks alongside Mika. "Let's get you out of here." Shaun just grins because he's all about doing his job to the best of his ability. Smiling often means good tips!

Mika Yang has posed:
    Mika nods her head, and offers just a smile to Katy. As they move closer to the car that seems to be down a side street, Mika blinks a little bit. She takes a moment to adjust her dress a little. She opens her tiny purse and pulls out a pair of chinese slippers. She takes off her heels and puts on the slippers. Something is nagging at her. Off near Shaun's side, a shadow seems to be a little bit longer then it should be.

    "Shaaang."

    Mika blinks a little bit. "Excuse me, what did you say?", she asks Shaun. The woman looks around a little bit. THere's another shadow that seems to be coming towards Mika. Literally sliding accross the ground. There seems to be a glint of something in the shadow coming towards Mika.

Shang Sense Tingling ~

Shaun blinks and actually reaches out for Mika's arm in the next moment. "Let's uh, put a little pep in our step, hm?" It seems like he's ready to hurry up and get Mika to her car and at a much quicker pace. "Hm? Oh, I was saying uh... Daaannnnng. Nice shoes." Shaun tries to cover up the weird words coming from around them.

Boop Boop!

Shaun makes sure to unlock the car ahead of time while his eyes are keeping a close bead on the shadows that are moving closer and particular glints. "Next time, you might want to pick one with a remote starter." A joke to try and keep the tension eased while he speed-escorts Mika towards her vehicle.

Mika Yang has posed:
    "Well, I mean...Its a studio car, so I didn't get a cho...", Mika starts before several clangs of metal on concrete are heard. She blinks, rotating her wrist out of Shang's grip before spinning around. And standing there are two...Ninjas? Mika blinks a few times...

    Ninja One looks over at Ninja Two. "Sorry, but Shang Chi is my prey. Please...go away.", the voice of Ninja One says.

    Ninja Two raises an eye brow. "Whose Shang Chi? I'm after Mika Yang the SANADA fighter.", is heard. Mika shifty eyes, and looks at Shang. "Are you Mika Yang?", she asks him. Yeah...Thats not going to really work here. The Ninjas both blink, and look over at the pair, and then back at each other. Awkward Assassin Pause Break druing this Assassination attempt. Back after this commerical brought to you by Dr. Pepper!

Shang-Chi has posed:
"Uhhhhhhhh, not that I know of."

Shaun moves himself slightly in front of Mika and reaches back to shove the keys to her car at her. He hopes that's enough of a cue for her to get out of there, while he brings his hands up to show that he's quite unarmed as he takes some steps in the direction of the Ninja Assassins.

"Hey, so uh, not sure who you two are looking for but maybe we can just not? Clearly, this is a case of many mistaken identities." Shaun even brings a hand up to point towards his name tag. "My name is Shaun." He's trying to draw as much attention to himself and away from Mika as possible.

So that Mika can escape, duh!

Mika Yang has posed:
    Ninja One shakes his head a little bit. "Do you really think that changing how you say your name is going to change anything?", he asks. The man shakes his head a bit, as he draws a knife. Ninja Two shakes her head.

    "Please don't throw knives near my target. I have to make sure that there's enough to prove who she is to my employers. No offense, dear, but could you please die peacefully for me?", Ninja two asks.

    "Then tell 'Shaun' over there to come run himself on my knife, then you don't have to worry about yoru target.", He says. Mika shakes her head a little bit, and puts Shang's arm down. "Which Ninjas is after me? Please raise your hand.", she asks. Yes, like a ninja is going to ....Yup, Ninja two puts her hand up...

Shang-Chi has posed:
This is going the opposite of his plan. This is not good. Not good at all.

"I'm being completely honest here. My name is Shaun. I'm just escorting this woman to her car so that she can get home. Which is what she should be doing at this. exact. moment." Shaun makes sure to raise his hand back up so that they can be seen as not holding any weapons or not doing anything threatening. See? He's cooperating. And trying to GET. MIKA. TO. LISTEN.

Ahem.

There is a sigh and a slight roll of his eyes when Mika just straight up makes it clear that she's Mika Yang and this is all going to the dogs way faster than it should be. "Why don't we all just pretend like none of this happened and uh... we all go our separate ways? Hm? How's that sound?"

Mika Yang has posed:
    Mika blinks a little bit as Ninja Two responds. She shakes her head. Somebody here listens. Just not Mika. "Umm, I'll take the shang ninja then.", she says, referring to Ninja 1. "Besides, I can' t let them scratch the car with knives from behind. I need to return that...", she says.

    And suddenly there's an explosion.

    Mika looks behind her, and the car....Well, its not a car anymore...Its twisted metal. Ninja Two pouts. "See! If she would have gone into the car like I was trying to get her to...", Ninja two say.

    "That was my plan for Shang...He starts to drive the car, and it explodes..", he says...

Shang-Chi has posed:
"What!"

Shaun practically squeals as the car explodes behind them. He's flailing around in that moment as fiery explosions and twisted metal happens. He uses his peripheral vision to watch as Mika turns to see the madness and he wastes not even a moment before his eyes focus and zero in on both of the Ninjas that are trying to accost them. His hand comes down to in front of him and for just a brief moment, two keys from off the keychain of the Infiniti. It takes him no time to fling them both in a manner of which would be similar to a highly trained individual throwing shuriken at visiting ninja throats.

A half step after the fling, though, he's reaching for Mika to make sure she's out of harm's way of said explosion. Good distraction. Also...

"We should run. Now." Shaun isn't sure if those Ninjas are going down or not but it's probably better to not stick around to find out.

Mika Yang has posed:
    Mika pauses a moment. Did....The car just eplode? She blinks a few times as she looks at what was her ride home. "....The car...", she mutters. The woman takes a long moment to look at was her car. Ninja One mutters a little bit, before getting hit with a key. He coughs a little bit as it hits home.

    Ninja two is mroe alert, and catches the key. "Mika Yang. You will die now. Along with your pet valet!", she says. Ninja two throws the key back at Shang.

Shang-Chi has posed:
"Get down!"

Shaun is in the middle of tackling Mika to try and protect her from whatever is coming flying at them from the ninja's direction. He's definitely also trying to make sure that he's not looking like he's about to do anything magical. He's all about trying to do all of these things under the guise of a valet trying to make sure that they are not about to die while they run for their lives.

If his foot happens to kick that key out of the air while he's awkwardly diving to get Mika out of harm's way than that's just a bonus plus that they can chalk things up.

"Keep the tip. If we live through this random act of violence then you might need it to help pay for..." Shaun just kind of motions at the burning wreckage.
