Cast of Characters: Namor, Lorna Dane

Namor has posed:
Atlantis. The Gem of the Seven Seas and foothold of the entire Atlantean culture. While the Empire of Atlantis spans the entirety of the oceans, this was their capital. THe oceans were the domain of King Namor and he was a firm ruler. Much beloved by the Kingdom of Atlantis, he was prone to generosity as much as he was an iron hand. He handles matters personally and represents his people well on the world stage. Though some minor drama always exists between the heir of Atlanna, Prince Orin and the King, Atlantis was united.

Strong.

But in order for a nation to be strong, they must wear their armor and extend hands of peace to other nations. To have allies should the worst ever come to pass. Namor awaited the presence of the Genoshan Queen and heir of Magneto, Lorna Dane, in the hallowed halls of the Royal Palace.

Guards stand at attention on either side on the way to the throne room. Advisors stand at attention just as such. A grand feast awaited Lorna as an honored guest.

Lorna Dane has posed:
It wasn't a place completely unfamiliar to Lorna as she had visited in the past. More recently having embraced her role as Queen however, she arrives bearing a bit more dignified aire than the guards may have seen from her in the past. Her attire wasn't traditional because there *was* no tradition for Genoshan Royalty as-of-yet, it was merely what she created. What she has created so far is an attempt at dignity, modesty, yet with no fear of hiding what or who she is.

A green blouse with open flowing sleeves is worn along with a pair of white slacks. Comfortable heels of green are also worn. It was business-like with a bit of flare and upon her brow was a simple crown made of steel and hematite rather than anything more glamorous or ornate. Given her magnetic abilities though it was likely the crown was as much a personal weapon as it was a symbol of her status.

Striding into the room she pauses to regard the feast lain out with an easy smile of familiarity to visiting an ally. Raising her arm to cross over her stomach approximating a bow, but not *atually* bowing, she speaks. "Greetings, King Namor. Thank you for your generous invitation. It's good to see you again."

Namor has posed:
Queen Lorna arrives and the guards of Atlantis stand at full attention with their ocean-themed blades held in front of them across the chest in a salute. The advisors on either side of Namor bow to the arrival of the Queen and Namor himself rises from his throne at Lorna's noble greeting.

"Welcome to Atlantis, Queen Lorna. You are an honored guest in the domain of my ancestors and are under the protection of the Seven Seas while you remain here." Namor steps from his throne, approaching Lorna with a steady gait. She wore a green blouse and white slacks. Slacks that might be a mistake when surrounded by water. But, Namor is wearing black-colored armor on his legs and arms with blue Atlantian colors adorning his legs. His feet, hands, and chest are largely exposed. His trident rests firmly in his hand. A symbol of his power and his personal choice of weaponry. Around his head was a crown of luminescent treasury found only in the deep.

"Let the feast begin!" Namor stamps the end of his trident onto the ground, the sound echoing through the halls as water vibrates. He looks upon Lorna. "Queen Lorna. You honor me with your presence. I trust your welcome is to your liking?"

Lorna Dane has posed:
Somehow the clothing of choice seems to manage even with the surrounding water. Maybe she had a trick or two up her sleeve. They were her colors though, even when she bore the name 'Polaris' her suit was often such shades. A tribute to her heroic days perhaps.

A quick breath is drawn in when the guards salute, and she's greeted in such a manor. As always it catches her a bit off guard receiving such a welcome. It's taken in stride though, her smile softening when he inquires to the greeting.

"You've outdone yourself once again, King Namor. I couldn't have done better myself." Which was true; her kingdom was a bit different than one so well established as Atlantis. A slight glance is run over him before she remarks, "I don't believe I've seen you in such attire before. Going for a new look?" A slight, teasing question, but not one that was disapproving at all. Even as she asks she finds herself a spot to sit keeping her head held high so as to not cause her hair to slip from it's place tucked behind her ears. It was moist here. There was nothing she could do about the curls at this point that she hadn't already done.

Namor has posed:
Green was a proper color on her.

Matched her hair. Lorna Dane was honored among the warriors of Atlantis. The King amongst their number. "I try." Namor smiles. "Do you dislike my appearance?" Namor gestures to himself with a dubious look on his face. "The only underwear look was never one I particularly enjoyed." Namor smirks at her. His hair was longer and let loose, wild like the waves he commands.

Namor takes his seat beside her as Atlantean cuisine is served. He keeps his attention on her. "You look lovely, Queen Lorna."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna Dane allows herself a smile at the question of his apperance, another look drifting over him. "No, you wear it well. It looks good." A pause before she clarifies a bit more with a simple, "You look good, King Namor. It's a nice update from the, ah, 'undies only,'" she offers back with a grin.

His own compliment garners a chuckle from her in response. "Thank you. Since Genosha doesn't precisely have a history with monarchy, or 'official attire' as such, I've been attempting to work up something that can be suitable for such occasions." A little smirk of amusement creeps over her. "Pietro has been indulging me in playing 'dress up' with him. I have to say it's far easier to come up with something for a man to wear than a woman. So many dresses over the centuries," she states with a sigh.
