Cast of Characters: Micola Maximoff, Pietro Maximoff

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola had not been delighted by the oncoming vision that had interrupted a perfectly wonderful evening. She'd managed to warn him before it started though and that was something that was good. Didn't want to embarrass him at the party by turning into some weird oracle in the middle of Tony's birthday party.

The vision this time was a bit brutal and the bright haired woman was feeling a bit quiet after it happened. She'd kicked off her shoes and curled up on the bed to rest her eyes, but had awoken with a bit of a jerk as memories bled through. She wasn't sure how long she'd dozed off.

"Pietro?" she calls out quietly.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
Pietro had been nearby, after the vision, to keep an eye on her. Sitting in a chair reading, he looked over to her as she called his name. "Right here, Micola." He offers, marking the page and closing the book. A hand moves over to clasp at hers. "Are you feeling better? More centered?" He asks.

The visions were something he couldn't help with, but the aftercare he was all about. "Did you need a drink? Food?" He asks, his eyes on hers.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola gives his hand a squeeze when she feels it clasp hers, "Much better." she tells him softly as she rolls onto her side to look at him. "I'm sorry that we had to leave." she adds as she looks over him. "Definitely more centered. Just...I wish this guy would stop drowning people." she tells him with a wince.

"And no, nothing to eat or drink. I'm not sure how I'd do at the moment." she explains. "Have you rested or anything?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
He nods to her, hand squeezing hers gently. "No need to apologize. Things happen, and we had a good time dancing, right?" Pietro muses, smiling to her. "Hopefully we can find this ... murderer. Then he can be dealt with properly." The man comments, quietly.

A slight smile. "A bit of rest, yes. Dozed a bit while reading, then went back to the pages." His free hand pats the book on his lap. "I was more concerned over you, than tired."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola gives a smile to him, "I did have a good time dancing with you, yes." she nods to that. She wiggles her toes just a bit, her eyes moving to look at his, "I think we'll find him...though sadly we've lost another to him." she frowns at that. She doesn't like it. She looks out towards the apartment, then back to him, "No ghosts hanging out, so that is a good thing." she states.

"I'll be fine. Sadly one of the downsides of dating me is I see all these dead things." she chuckles. She looks down to her dress and there's a frown, "It's going to get all wrinkled now." she muses as she starts to sit up. "What were you reading?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"They will pay for their violence." Pietro says, quietly. "No ghosts hanging about, that is good. It allows you to rest. Even the ferryman needs rest." A wink to her. He runs his fingers along her arm. "I am glad you enjoyed our dance, short as it might have been under the circumstances."

"I see no downsides, so far. If they start causing problems, that's another story." He teases. A look to her dress and a shrug. "It can be steam cleaned, I am sure. There are plenty of proper cleaners." The book on his lap is one of Greek mythology. "Just brushing up on my understanding of Greek mythos."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola doesn't argue with Pietro on that, she was sure whoever was doing this would pay. She wasn't sure how she was going to make them pay though. "Charon definitely needs breaks." she agrees with that. She gives a smile to him, "We'll have plenty of more dances, Pietro." she tells him.

"I'd hope they don't cause problems." she admits. She wiggles her fingers from his, "One sec these stockings are annoying me." she chuckles as she starts to undo them and roll them down.

"Any questions I can answer myth wise?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
She has friends in high places! She doesn't have to make them pay, others will. "Many more dances, hopefully at other less posh events where we can be more comfortable. Like a Genoshan Grand Ball or something." He teases.

As she starts on her stockings, Pietro grins. "It might be good to get into comfortable clothing for the evening, yes? Unless we're going out for a late night bite?" He smirks. At the mention of myths, he hrms. "Are you a manifestation of Charon, then? Or is it just a kinship you feel to them?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola gives a grin to that as she tosses the stockings near her shoes. She then looks back to him as she scoots over towards the side of the bed he is seated on. "Genoshan Grand Ball sounds very posh, your Highness." she teases him right back.

"Yes, comfortable clothing is a must given things and maybe a shower as well." she tries not to look too terribly impish when she offers that. She gives a soft smile to him and there is a head shake, "I'm not a manifestation of him, no. I'm not sure where Charon even rates on the charts, I'm guessing he'd be a deity." she ponders. "I am one of his Pyschopomps though. A psychopomp, literally meaning the "guide of souls", are creatures, spirits, angels, or deities in many religions whose responsibility is to escort newly deceased souls from Earth to the afterlife." she explains to him.

"My one hangup is that I cannot go into the Astral at will, so I'm the worst psychopomp on anyones roster." she chuckles.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
A waggle of his brows. "I would be in proper Genoshan dress attire. Whatever that will be, once Lorna designs it." The man laughs. "Perhaps one will be held to unveil the newly minted Genoshan crest?" Pietro suggests. "I think that would be a proper time for a ball, don't you?"

A brow arches as she suggests a shower. "Well, cleanliness is next to godliness, yes?" A chuckle. "Psychopomp - I've read up on that term. Do you suspect there are others, mutants, who serve a similar purpose." He scratches at his chin. "I wonder how many legends are tied to mutants, you know?"

"The Astral?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"Lorna seems like she has fantastic fashion sense, so I'd not be worried." Micola points out gently. "And there could be one, I'm guessing that a crest unveiling would be a big deal for your family." she admits to that. "I'd just need to find something perfect to wear." she muses to that.

His words make her grin, "Mmm, yes, yes it is." she agrees with a wiggle of her brows. She lets her fingers work at the belt that she was wearing with her dress as she speaks, "There could possibly be other mutants with similar powers. I think with my power and then learning Ectomancy growing up was something that just worked. Plus...I did lead my first soul when I was just a child." she frowns.

"The Astral is the forge of the universe, from which all things are made." she explains.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"She does. I am looking forward to seeing what she comes up with for the Royal attire." Pietro admits. "It would be a big deal for the country as a whole, honestly. Building our identity as a country is important." A wink to her. "And I am sure that we could arrange for a proper dress-maker for you, Micola."

He watches, admiring as she starts getting comfortable. "Should I get your comfy pajamas out?" He wonders, watching her face. "You did, yes. And they were grateful, after all." The man comforts.

"I am sure Wanda has more knowledge of the Astral than I ever would." He chuckles.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"No pressure." Micola winks at him. She didn't feel a lot of pressure. Lorna wouldn't murder her if she messed something up, right?! "I think you will look very handsome in it." she tells him with a soft smile. "Maybe for something like a ball like that, yes." she nods to him. "Could always pull in your favorite colors for it as well." she grins at that.

"No pajamas just yet." she tells him with a warm smile. "I do miss my grandma." she states with a bit of sadness. "But yes, grateful for having me there." she nods.

"Wanda proably does. Maybe we should ask her astral questions sometime?" she asks him. "Or well...maybe not first meeting. I'd just like to meet her." she chuckles. Then she reaches out to run her fingers down his arm, "Would you like to get a bit more comfortable?" she asks him softly.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"No pressure at all - she would not have asked you if she doubted your ability." A grin. "And perhaps, my colors do look dashing on me. I think they'd flatter you too." Pietro murmurs. "I suspect you do well with bright colors, Micola."

He nods at the mention of her grandmother. "It is my hope that she watches from afar, and is proud of you." He offers.

"Tomorrow, we could meet her." He comments, watching her fingers trail down his arm. "I would like that, yes." He winks, moving to unbutton his shirt.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola flushes a little when Pietro explains that Lorna would not have asked her if she doubted her, "That does make me feel better and that isn't sarcasm." she points out gently to him. She gives a soft smile, "I do like bright colors as well. So maybe we'll try that as well." she states.

His words about her grandmother make her tear up and she has to laugh softly, "I'm all weepy for some reason this evening." she shakes her head. Then she's looking back to him, "Tomorrow would be lovely." she tells him.

But his fingers moving to unbutton his shirt distract her and she slips from the bed to stand in front of his chair, "Need any help with that?" she asks him.
