Synopsis: Diana continues to help Morgan develop his skills as a super hero!
Cast of Characters: Diana Prince, Morgan Finn

Diana Prince has posed:
With Morgan being out of his sports teams stuff at Happy Harbor, this has granted him more time to train his martial skills. Alongside that, he is also being tested to train the growing and emerging presence of strength beyond that of a normal human's.

To facilitate this training, Diana has been upping the lessons for the young Wonder Boy within the Hall of Justice's holo-simulation chamber.

Here and now, there is a burning New York building with emergency services vehicles lining the base of it all around the street. A 'simulated' version of the Invisible Jet has appeared beside the building, Morgan is being issued to recover the people still alive inside the building! So here he stands, on the ramp of the Jet high above the street below, with about a 3 foot gap between the jet and the building that is crackling with flame, and smoke pouring out of its shattered windows. A bomb had gone off, and the people inside are screaming for help!

"Bring them back to the Jet!" Diana calls out from the controls of the Jet's cockpit.

The window the jet is hovering beside is shattered out, with flames licking the walls all around it, and all around the office-style interior within! There's a man and a woman inside the office trying to reach out toward the young Wonder Boy!

Morgan Finn has posed:
The holo-simulation chamber is so realistic. That's pretty much the point. Morgan stands on the ramp assessing his options, none of which are great. Yes he has been exhibiting enhanced, supernatural levels of strength, but he still can be burned! "Copy that!" he calls back to Diana above the din.

Clenching his jaw, he peers across the gap. "You got this, Morgan," he murmurs. Then he suddenly leaps across the gap. But the adrenalin has him over-stimulated and he launches himself too hard. He smashes into the building next to the window and takes out about two or three feet of brick and plaster as he lands inside the burning room. He lacks Diana's invulnerability, and breaking through the wall causes some nasty cuts and wounds on him. But even as he stands up, they are stitching up nearly instantly. "Come on!" he yells to the man and the woman. "Trust me, please! I'll get you out of here."

The two look at one another hesitantly. I mean, the kid did actually miss the window, and got pretty messed up in the process. But also, burning to death is a bad option. So they rush over to him. And now the 'wisdom' of Morgan's 'plan' emerges. He grabs each of them around the waist, and since he broke through the wall immediately next to the window, the opening is larger. He rushes toward at top speed as the two civilians start yelling in fear. And he juuuuuuuuuuumps.........

..........and lands smoothly on the ramp to the Invisible Jet. "Diana, two civilians onboard!" he yells out.

Diana Prince has posed:
The Princess is in her Eagle Armor, with her dark hair tied back in a loose ponytail. She looks back in to the Jet's interior to see Morgan make the jump. When he relays the two civilians being aboard, Diana offers him a thumbs up.

There's another bursting explosion outside though, with more screams heard inside the building and the sounds of the Fire Engines down below blaring their sirens, its a lot of noise, a veritable cacophony you might say!

"Morgan, there are reports coming in that the main elevator is filled with people and stuck on the floor you were just on!" Diana tells the Wonder Boy himself over his coms set. "Get back in there and see if you can pry the doors open, and lead them all to safety back here! I'll get the Jet closer so you don't have to jump!" Wonder Woman says as she pilots the Jet a little closer until it bumps in to the building itself, causing more bricks to come loose and fall down toward the sidewalks below! Of course, now the flames, and smoke are coming in to the Jet itself, but the Jet absorbs them, and extinguishes them instantly upon contact.

Morgan Finn has posed:
Although inexperienced with his newfound strength, the kid has always been a natural athlete. Without so much as an eyeblink of hesitation, he runs down the ramp and into the burning room. Yes it's a holographic environment but that fire is HOT. And his Wonder Boy armor might not be the best thing to be wearing this close to flames.

By the time he gets to the elevator, the intensity of the heat is wearing on him. He starts to tug at the doors, but his super strength is failing him. He pulls and pulls, but the heat has seized the doors in place.

He drops down to one knee, exhausted by the intensity of the heat not from being out of shape. He bows his head for a moment. Whatever internal process he is going through seems to work. He stands back up, draws in a deep breath, and lets out a loud grunt as he rips the metal fibers of the door like paper, sending them flying backwards into the burning room.

"Folks, lets get you out of here! Wonder Woman's jet is right out this window!" He stands in place despite all of the fire until every last person is out of that elevator. Some flames ripped beside him. The safety protocols prevent him from being severely injured, but he holographic flames to cause first degree burns on his exposed arm. But Morgan has never had the same relationship with pain as normal humans. He grits his jaw and bears it as he follow the line of evacuees out to the waiting jet. By the time he steps foot onto the ramp, the burns are healed.

"Five more souls onboard, Diana," he calls out.

Diana Prince has posed:
The people rush aboard the Jet and congregate together first aide from a pair of EMTs that are on the Jet with Diana.

One of the people, however, a balding man in his 50s turns back to Morgan, a look of desperation on his face. "Kid!" He calls out over the noises. "Look. The water flow to the sprinkler system isn't functioning. The valve was closed off and melted by... someone... I don't know who! You gotta get up there and unstick that valve if you can!" The man shouts as his suit tie flutters in the wind coming up around the Jet outside of the building.

He thrusts his pudgey hand toward the elevator area again.

"Take the service stairs beside the Elevator. Go up another floor, and you'll see a Maintenance doorway. Get in there and find the Valves. The biggest one, it's red, you gotta twist it loose and turn the water systems back on!"

A moment later and one of the EMTs takes the man by his elbow to lead him back in to the Jet.

Morgan Finn has posed:
Morgan is leaning forward, his hands on his knees, breathing heavily. The kid's cardiovascular health is amazing, godly one might say, but he's burning energy by using his newfound strength in an intensely hot environment all while wearing battle armor. As he leans forward he turns his head to look out into the building, which is even more in flames now. "Ah fuck," he murmurs to himself. Guess he owes a dollar to the swear jar. Sweat drip-drip-drips from his forehead onto the deck of the jet.

Then he runs down the ramp and leaps into the 200+ degree room. He runs past the pillars of flame as when he gets to the door leading to the service stairs, he just pushes his hand through the metal and tears it off his hinges. And he's gone, into the stairwell.

"Is that boy going to be okay?" a woman asks one of the EMTs.

"Of course," she replies. "That's Wonder Boy. He does this kind of thing all the time."

Two AIs talking to one another for whose benefit? Perhaps Diana's? Long minutes tick by. One, then two, three, four minute elapse. Flames in the room with the elevator are starting to fill the entire space. Did Morgan fall? Is he...

There is a loud as steam fills the air! The water system has been activated! But still no Morgan. Another full minute goes by and perhaps one might wonder if it's time to end this simulation when a wall three stories up explodes out as Wonder Boy -- chased by flames and steam -- leaps out. Debris and rubble falls all over the jet. He leaps and falls...falls...falls. One arm and both legs are flailing as he fights to keep himself upright. His other arm, badly burned, is held close to his body. With a loud grunt, he catches the edge of the ramp as he falls, causing the jet to wobble. Some of the uninjured civilians help him climb aboard.

Diana Prince has posed:
The Invisible Jet starts to rise up after Morgan is safetly aboard it. Up, up, and away. Sort of anyway. It sweeps over the top of the building now, and as it crests the upper edge, something nefarious comes within sight...

On the roof near the large water tower that feeds the sprinkler systems, is a dark bulky evil looking robot!

It has two red eyes that glow brightly in the smoke and steam, and from those red eyes it is firing laser beams at the support struts of the water tower!

"Look at that!" The pudgey man that told Morgan about the water system says, once more thrusting a finger out of the Jet! "That thing is trying to sabotage the systems! It must be what melted the valve!" He looks to Morgan. "Do something!" He shouts dramatically.

Diana pilots the jet over the roof, and looks back over her shoulder. "It is a Black Mesa Combat Droid!" She shouts to Morgan. "Take my shield and javelin!" The Princess indicates, as she motions to the wall beside where Morgan is, where Diana's weapons and armored gear reside on their mounts!

Down below, the Robot is hacking with a saw blade on the support leg of the water tower, and blasting it with red eye beams!

Bzzzt!

Morgan Finn has posed:
Orders are orders, and Morgan obeys. He turns and sprints for the weapon rack. The bad burn on his one arm is nearly completely healed by now. At this rate it will be fully healed by the time he engages that robot. Just in time for him to get new wounds!

"Why don't we just shoot it with the freakin' jet???" he calls out as he leaps from the plane. But really, how often does one get to wield Wonder Woman's weapons? This is EXACTLY how Morgan wants to deal with this giant robot. His skin is beet red and sweat pours down his body. He's reaching the end of his energy. But he has learned both from school sports and from his combat training that you fight until you can no longer fight. And then you fight some more. So he does...

He runs and leaps off the building. Wonder Boy cuts a striking figure in his armor with Diana's shield and javelin! He almost seems to hang for a moment in mid-air. Sure, it's a holo-chamber, but a fall from this height would put our boy into the infirmary for a good few hours while his body's healing stitched him up. But he does not fall. He plunges the javelin into the robot's body, and hangs from the mechanical attacker as he smashes the shield over and over into the robot's chest to devastating effect. But just about the time that he has knocked away enough armor to show some of the robot's innards, the mechanical man swipes as Morgan, knocking him away. The javelin stays thrust into the armor as Morgan falls.

"Oh man I wish I could fly," he says as he falls and smashes into the ground. The teen demigod opens his eyes staring upward. He's completely out of breath but he's conscious as his natural healing starts to kick in.

Diana Prince has posed:
With Wonder Boy on the ground of the roof, the evil looking dark metal bot starts to roll toward him on the one wheel that acts as its 'legs'. It grabs the javelin with both of its hands and yanks it out of its torso with one hard pull! Sparks fly out of the robotic wound, as the red eyed bot twirls the javelin around and aims it down at Morgan! It lifts it up and is preparing to thrust the weapon down at Wonder Boy's chest...

When the water tower starts to lean over...

The leg had been severed of the support beam, and the tower was now starting to tip...

The Black Mesa Battle Droid looks over, then up, just as the heavy tower crushes it in to the roof with a mighty smash! A dull thud rings out across the roof, and around the building in general as the robot is crushed beneath the tower, with sparks shooting out, and Wonder Woman's javelin rolling toward Morgan's feet...

Diana lands on the roof on her armored boots, and starts to walk toward the young Wonder Boy, her eyes going from him to the tower...

Morgan Finn has posed:
Still partially stunned, the healing demigod begins to sit up. He groans with pain but still somehow manages a small burst of laughter. "Good thing I secretly loosened...that water...tower earlier, huh?" he says. He grabs the rolling javelin and uses it to start climbing to his feet. He flashes a mischievous grin to Diana. "Did everyone make it?"

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana watches the boy climb to his feet as she walks past him toward the water tower on its side. She inspects it for a moment before she walks toward its end. "Come." She says to him. "Help me lift it back up.

It must weigh an insane amount though, the water didn't even spill out! Well, it is leaking at the connection hoses that go down in to the building, but still!

Diana crouches and gets a good hold on the tower before she starts to hoist it up, her legs flexing with muscles as the woman gets back up to her full height now.

"Grab that beam there." Diana tells Morgan. "Wrap it around the twisted leg to reinforce it...."

Another strength test!

Morgan Finn has posed:
Tough drill sergeant is tough! Morgan drops the shield and the javelin. He's clearly still exhausted and his body hasn't even finished healing from the fall. But he'll die before he shows weakness in front of Wonder Woman!

"What this little thing?" the teen demigod says with a grin as he picks up the beam. With a grunt, he slowly starts to wind it around the legs of the water town. "Too...easy..." he grunts as he struggles to bend the metal. Without a doubt this kid is truly beginning to display superhuman strength, but he's still not fully in control of it. When he gets down to the last two feet of beam, there isn't enough leverage for him to bend it anymore. He's no Superman, you know. He lets out a yell as he dig in with powerful legs, and squeezes with powerful arms. But it's not enough. He sinks to one knee. He got most of it, like 90 percent.

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana holds the tower up above her head and steadies it back in place as Morgan secures the 'bandage' to its injured leg. When she tests it, the tower holds, and she takes a step back then. Her eyes drop from the tower down to Wonder Boy...

A noise comes then, a quiet noise.

A cat's meow. A little tabby cat appears out of the steam, and smoke, walking toward Morgan. It bumps up against him happily and starts to walk around in a circle around the young man.

Diana shows a smirk. "I think you have one last person to rescue." She says.

And then, rain! Lots of rain.

No, wait, that's the fire teams down below, using their hoses on what remains of the fire within the office building.

"I think you did pretty good on this one." Diana says then as she gathers up her shield and javelin.

Morgan Finn has posed:
Morgan scoops up the cat and pulls it in close to his body. It's just a hologram but protective boy is protective. He snuggles it in close to his chest. As he walks toward the jet, when he passes Diana he shoulder-bumps her. "You did pretty good yourself, sitting in the cockpit keeping the seat warm."

He lightly leaps up on the ramp of the jet then stops, turning around blinking. "Oh, this isn't the real jet," he says, laughing slightly. "So how *do* we get out of here?" Already he's standing straighter and all of his wounds are completely healed. Standing there in his Wonder Boy armor, protectively cradling the cat, beaming like the Olympian that he is, he really looks like a hero today.
