Called to Task
Date of Scene: 03 June 2022
Location: Big Belly Burgers
Synopsis: Gwen, Peter, and Bando fine Harold Lilja and call him to task about his technological creations.
Cast of Characters: Bando George, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker

Bando George has posed:
Big Belly Burgers, the place to meet for all proper hero preps. After the meeting with Harold Lilja, a few things were clear. One, Harold actually did want the cops to have his technology. Two, the proper channels to get them the technology had failed. Three, he had taken some liberties on finding a way around the usual rules, which had resulted in a less than legal situation.

The address checked out as a strip mall, one that was nearly across the street from Big Belly. It was right in front of them the whole time. Key Food, the 99 cent store, Aron's natural produce. Micro Center, all right off of 71st Street. The large parking lot is empty at this hour, given that all of these businesses are closed at this hour. There's one spot, however, that's been closed for a few months. It used to be a QuickBooks Training Center, but the business moved to a business park last fall. Since then it's been empty with a large 'For Rent' sign over the front window.

Activity says that the guys in the place are actually renting it, so it doesn't go back on the market. It just looks like it's empty. The windows are dirty, dust covering them, the simple glass door having no security past the normal. Bando stands outside the Big Belly, an extra large Dr. Pepper attached to his mouth from a straw.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"I can't believe it..."

This said between sips from her own soda while looking across the street to where that strip mall is at. "In front of our noses this whole time." but sometimes that's just how things roll! Yet Gwen is perhaps more anxious now that they are coming close to bring this matter to an end than worried about not having found them before. She is dressedin jeans and a hoodie even if an observant eye can notice the tight body suit beneath that tells she's the actual Ghost Spider.

"We need to go in there and figure out if the suits are still inside." She then tells Bando, "And yes, before you ask, it will be trespassing. But we can't do this through the legal ways.." it's a good thing her father wasn't listening to her right now.

Peter Parker has posed:
"To be fair, who really needs to be trained on Quickbooks these days?" Spider-man is up on the side of the wall in the shadows. While Gwen and Bando may be close friends, Peter and Bando aren't quite close enough yet to go mask free. So Peter is still using his made-up name.

"This is your show, I'm just the special guest-star. So you lead, and I'll follow." A pause for a chuckle. "Although this is kind of fun, so maybe I can move up to 'recurring' for next season."

He stretches out against the wall, checks his webshooters, and fidgets with a small device. Gwen would likely realize it's his camera, preparing to document the scene for the proper credit. And maybe for a few bucks from JJJ.

Bando George has posed:
Bando arches a brow. "Isn't 'not the legal way' the exact thing that started this whole thing?" Bando asks. "I mean, I know I'm still new at this and all," he says. "But-" He stops as the door opens. Two men step out of the building, they lock the door, and head to a rather average looking Nissan Altima. There are a couple of other cars still in the large lot, but this is the only one near the business entrance in question.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"Me..." Gwen admits with a deep sigh. "Mrs. Wong made me learn..." such a drill sergeant her corner store boss is! "But hey, I can use that thing with my eyes closed these days..?" small blessings! She finishes her soda and goes dump the container for recycling before returning.

"Not sure if we got the budget to hire you, Spidey. You are getting expensive with all the exposure." a lot of it negative exposure by JJJ. But that's details! "Though we'd certainly enjoy having you around." the college student says with that bright smile of hers.

"Yea, but when it's cops themselves that are also dirty we can't really go to them, can we? So ---" she stops at the two men coming out, watching. "This will be our chance to look around. Time to change." she tells the others and walks over to an alley to do just that, stripping down to the ghost spider outfit and putting her clothes inside a small backpack.

Peter Parker has posed:
"Do you want to try to send the cops in there, with the kind of firepower they may have at their disposal?" Spider-man adjusts to look over to the warehouse. "Yes, what we do isn't the legal way. But sometimes it's the only way."

Flipping off the building, Spider-man lands with a quiet thump. "You know I never charge friends," he says, a moment of sincerity amidst a sea of quips. "And I enjoy hanging with you. It's, uh, refreshing. We should do it more often." He rubs the top of his head, not going into further detail on that point.

He looks over towards Bando, as much to see if he is changing as to pointedly not look at Gwen as she changes. He assumes she is probably wearing her costume underneath, but just in case...

Bando George has posed:
Bando takes the cue, following Gwen to the alley behind Big Belly. He...didn't bring a backpack, that would've been a good idea. He peels his shorts and shirt off, of course his uniform was pretty easily visible beneath them already. He pulls the cowl over his face, and looks around. "Um..." he holds his clothes, having wrapped them up around each other. "I guess..." he tucks them behind a dumpster. "They are gonna be so gross later," he says. But at least they aren't in the way for now. He catches the tone on Spider-man's suggestion that he and Gwen hang out, glances between them, but doesn't comment himself.

The car by this time is pulling out of the parking lot, leaving the area quiet for the moment. "So," Bando says, "Harold said they were supposed to try to actually do a deal tonight. I wonder where they are going? They didn't...like, load anything up or anything. Think they'll be coming back?" he asks as he starts on his way across the street.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Gwen had the outfit under the other clothes! So no indecent stripping that's for sure. When it's done she can't help but let out a sigh at Bando's attempt to put his clothes behind a dumpster, "See, it's these little details that no one teaches you.. Always bring a backpack for your clothes." she doesn't let Bando just store them on the ground though, instead getting them into her backpack. It's a bit puffy now though. But she will manage.

She's like a turtle spider now with that big pack on her back.

"If they are going for a deal then they will be finding it empty when they come back. But we'll be waiting.." she says, a web shot across the street and then she swinging over to the entrance.

"Any of you a crack thief or ...." she looks at Bando, "Want to get this lock out of the way?" she suggests.

Peter Parker has posed:
"It seems both of you are sparse on the details," says Spider-man, as he walks over and holds his hand out for Gwen's backpack. If given, he tosses it up towards the side of the building and webshoots it, sticking it to the wall next to a decidedly similarly looking lump, also secured and protected. And then one of his large white eyes winks at them.

He sends a strand of webbing out and follows along with Ghost Spider, swinging into place next to her.

As he watches Bando cross on foot, he says quietly to her. "Should we give him some webshooters? I don't want him to feel like he's not part of the cool crowd. Because he totally is."

Bando George has posed:
"Oh man, I can have web shooters!?" Bando exclaims, a little too loudly. It's a good thing there's no one around. "That would be fire!" he bounces on the balls of his feet as they get to the door. "Yeah, locks aren't really a thing for me," he says, taking a slightly cocky grin. "Check this out Spidey," hey, he's got THE Spider-Man, here, he has to pump himself a little. He raises a hand dramatically in a pose, and snaps his fingers. *fwump*

The sound of breaking glass is instantaneous. Bando disappears from where he is, and is at the same time in the doorway. Tempered shards explode out from him, as does the metal push bar, wrenched outward and hanging from the frame that remains.

"Uh..." he gives a wince, steps that extra step that he meant to teleport. Yeah. Inside. Not in the door. He unlocks the now shattered door, which might be a little moot, and pushes it open. "Tada?" he ways with an audible grimace.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"Show off.." Gwen accuses Peter, hands to her hips while he goes and glues their backpack to the building. "We were going baby steps. Bando might forget it after a mission.." it's all true! She knows how Bando can forget some major details when he gets focused on something, or too excited.

The talk about webshooters does have her chuckle though, "Hey, we developped ours. Only fair that if he wants something similar that he gets to make them himself.." a beat, "Besides you have never seen him---" she stops all of a sudden as Bando just disappears and the door sort of explodes...

.... and that gets her moving, rolling back and jumping out of the way of those flying shards. It wouldn't be good to get cuts in her suit! (And more importantly, on herself). ".... Seen him use his powers, have you?" she grimaces as well. "Sometimes they go a bit haywire but ..., they are impressive." she walks to the door, peers inside and then steps in, barely making a sound.

It's B&E time!

Peter Parker has posed:
Spider-man is not entirely sure why his Spider-sense is going off, but he has learned to trust it and leaps out of the way before the explosion of door hits. "Uh, yeah. Practice makes perfect, my man." He drops back down next to Ghost Spider and heads along with her, just a little bit behind. It is her show, after all.

But not too far. This is a different Gwen, of course, but he still is on edge whenever she is exposed to danger.

He is tempted to whip out his old Spidey-light, but resists that for now.

Bando George has posed:
Bando looks around inside. "Usually I'm better at it," he promises Spidey. "Sorry about that." It's not much to look at, the front room is what used to be a reception area, though it looks rather unused. A narrow hallway goes back with two doors on either side, and one at the back of the hall with an EXIT sign, a heavy metal door that says it likely leads out to the rear of the building. It isn't big, hardly a place where you could store large amounts of anything. But then again, there aren't a lot of these suits, so a place like this is perfect if you don't need a lot of storage. A single flourescent panel is turned on at the back of the hall, the kind that usually stays on at night for security purposes.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
A quick look around and Gwen spots that panel that most likely means an alarm. She throws a web and pulls herself to the ceiling, hands and feet now having her crawl, body against the wall ceiling. "Alarm over there. You are the smart one out of us, Spidey." she admits, "Want to get a try at it?" she suggests while at the same time angling herself to one of the closed doors.

Not that Gwen isn't smart! Just not a super genius.

She then points at the door she is not moving towards and looks at Bando, as if to have him go there.

Peter Parker has posed:
"I could give it a go, sure," replies Spidey as he follows suit, leaping up to the ceiling and slowly wall crawling over. He taps the side of his mask to activate the visual sensors built-in to confirm that there are no lasers or anything monitoring movement, although staying off the floor seems wise given the possibility of pressure plates.

Upon reaching the panel, he lowers himself down slowly on a single strand, feet coming together to squeeze the strand as he goes. He stops just in front of the panel and peers at it, tapping at gently.

"Biometrics. No way to bypass." He looks to Bando. "Can you pull that trick to get to other side, or do I have to do this the hard way?:"

Bando George has posed:
Bando nods, "Yeah, lemme do that again," he says. "Hopefully there's nothing on the other side that I will run into." He goes to the door that's alarmed, and takes a deep breath. *fwump* There's a crashing sound on the other side of the door. Apparently there was something there.

"Hey!" Who're you!?" comes the muffled noises from within. Apparently the building isn't empty. There's more crashing. Whatever is on that side of the door, it seems they have left someone behind to watch it.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
That isn't good...

Gwen quickly crawls across the ceiling closer to the door. "Seems we will have to do it the hard way after all, Spidey.." not that she seems to mind. "Ready..?" she throws a web behind and another to the front and starts pulling herself back while the web she shot forward stretches and stretches, ready to spring her forward and against the door at a speed...

"3 .., 2 ..., 1.." a beat, "Go!"

And Gwen releases the web on the back, being propelled forward and against the door. Feet first of course! So as to better kick the thing down with the kind of strength that would be found more on horses than actual college student girls.

Peter Parker has posed:
"Yeah, I kind of figured we'd talk through it before..." Spidey shrugs. "You go, I'll follow!" He watches Gwen move to break down the door, and starts swinging along, timing it out such that as she breaks in the door, he goes flying in.

Relying upon his Spider-sense to guide him, as soon as he is through the doorway the Web slinger is spinning and slinging webs at the guys hassling Bando.

"We kept trying to ring the doorbell but no one answered, sorry! Are any of you interested in a subscription to Crooks Weekly? We also publish "Betters Goons and Safehouses" if that is more your style."

Bando George has posed:
The door bursts in, and there of course are the stealth suits. Three of them, one is missing. Bando is also missing. So is whoever he interrupted. Suddenly Bando appears again, laying on his back on the floor. He's awake, and scambling to get to his feet. "He's invisible!" Bando exclaims just in time to have his head momentarily vanish, then appear again as he goes flying back against the wall. Then nothing again. The room isn't particularly large, your average small office conference room, about 16x10. A few boxes shrink that space, scattered about the corners.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
As Peter swings in Gwen doesn't take long to go after, flying past the debris of a broken door to land on the floor in a tri-point landing position. Tiptoes and one hand in front. So elegant! Bit of a poser too. But that's how Ghost Spider rolls! She always did get the best pictures back in her universe too...

But no thinking about that now! She looks around the small area, that spatial awareness taking in every nook and cranny of the place before she looks at Peter. "We need to corral him.." she then sighing, "I really shouldn't had skipped those trainings with the Fantastic Four.." The Invisible Woman!

But then she is shooting webs at a few boxes and moving them to the door so as to keep the invisible man from running out of the room. Because otherwise they would never find him!

Peter Parker has posed:
Taking in the warnings from Bando, Spider-man looks around quickly. "Thanks for the heads up," he says, before leaning up to the ceiling. While his Spider-sense is effective against invisible foes, he doesn't know how Ghost Spider's work.

"Let me show you a trick I picked up from dealing with the FF!" He reaches out and breaks off a sensor at the top of the room, and immediately the sprinklers kick on, showering them all in water.

Creating a very distinctive shape around the invisible man.

Bando George has posed:
In the event of this particular field, it does give more of a bubble than a shape around the invisible figure, loosly the shape of a human, but hardly a distinctive humanoid form. Suddenly the shape shifts, the space where the water seems to disappear elongating, and there's the pop of a pistol as the sprinkler is shot. It appears he's thought of that trick, and the sprinkler head bursts, turning the water from a spray into a pouring nozzle that heads straight onto the floor, still, it gives a view of where the man is for a moment. Bando pulls from his utility belt...a monster energy drink! He doesn't drink it though, it becomes a projectile as it hurtles toward the unseen figure. The drink disappears, and there's a grunt as it strikes something inside the field.

Outside, however, a car pulls up, the two men from before jumping out and charging back into their hideout.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"Wait, when did *you* deal with the FF?" Gwen asks even as she bounces from the wall when a gun is produced and shot, danger sense flaring. It may not exactly work like Peter's but it gives her a perfect spatial awareness of where she is at. And the things within. And when that water reveals the figure for a few moments? That's all the time she needs...

She rolls and tumbles to a side, shooting a web that goes past the figure, then another. They don't hit him. Maybe she's losing her touch? But they do hook up to a couple of crates. They seem heavy too.. Perfect.

"Hey, heads up." she warns before yanking on her webs mightily. The two crates fly off from their position to cross perfectly at where the invisible man was before!

Peter Parker has posed:
"You guys seem to have a handle on that one, I'll keep these two from joining the party!" Spidey darts back out through the gap created by the heavy door, and fires webbing in the direction of the men charging him. They snicker until he does the same right in front of him, creating a wall of webbing, and they realize he has done the same behind him. "Take a breather, dudes," he says before flipping back into the other room to see how Bando and Ghost Spider are doing.

"Not gonna lie, was thinking of trying to slip one of those on. That other kid gets to have all the fun!" Put that one down in the books, folks - Peter jealous of Miles.

Bando George has posed:
The webs pull the crates forward, and a yelp causes a grunt from the invisible man, and there is a crack that can be heard, bringing him back into view as the crate damages his field.

"Yes!" Bando declares, "That was a curbstomp!"

The two others find themselves rather boxed in, looking back and forth at their makeshift prison in the hall before growling. "Now what?" one of them says. "Just wait for it."

No sirens are heard, but through the webbing at the front door, familiar red and blue lights can be seen as two squad cars show up. Who called them? The alarm?

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Success! But as the invisible man falls down Gwen doesn't lose time celebrating, nope. Instead what she does is wrap the man in a nice little bundle for the cops. But that's when they spot the lights out side. What kinda cops will they be though? "Are you alright, B?" she asks Bando.

"Hey, your camera is still rollin' right?" This she whispers to Peter before reaching up and activating her own recording device through the HUD of the mask.

Because for some reason she thinks these might be the crooked cops! "Careful with these guys..." again a whisper before she asks in a louder voice, "Wait, who gets to have all the fun?" maybe she doesn't know all the tricks Miles does!

Peter Parker has posed:
The arrival of red and blue lights does not sit well with Spider-man, either. "They don't seem to like me on a good day," murmurs Spider-man. A quick glance around, and he does what makes the most sense in this situation - he dashes towards one of the suits. "If I can figure this thing out..." At best, Spider-man avoids complicating things with his relationship with good cops. At worst...well, he has a chance to surprise the cops that come in.

"We need to set up a Spider army and compare notes," Spider-man calls over to Ghost Spider. "We can have Aunt.." He pauses. "Well, we can have a cook-out, you know?"

Bando George has posed:
Lt. Jericho steps out of the first car, and the other two familiar faces join him. He draws his pistol, moving up to the door, "Police!" he announces. "This is Lt.-" he looks in, spotting the webbing in the hallway. "Well shit." A slight smile crosses his face. "What've you two gotten yourself into?" he asks, walking up to the front side of the webs.

"C'mon, drop the act," one of the crooks says. "You know what this is. They are gonna get away with the stuff!"

"Is that right?" he asks. "Davis, around the back," he says. "Anybody else in here?" he asks.

    "Yeah, the Spider-man gang!"

Bando hears the exchange out in the hall. "So..what do we do? We take the suits?" he asks. "If they confiscate them, they'll have them. But then if we take them, we just committed a felony!" he whispers frantically in a whisper.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Ghost Spider overhears the exchange going on outside, small frown to her expression as the gears on her mind get to work. No, wouldn't be good for Spidey or Bando to be caught on this...

"Get into one of the suits.." She whispers to Bando. "And wait with Spidey. Follow his lead. No need to get you in trouble when I was the one that got you in this at the start..." and besides, this was an investigation in her father's shooters too. Something she had to face by herself..

Once Bando and Spidey are in the suits she comments, "As long as you are not the cook.." she tells Spidey. Ouch, right in the feelings. But then she takes in a deep breath and calls out, "This is Ghost Spider." she stepping out to full view of the door, "Come in. Think it's better that we have a word."

Peter Parker has posed:
"Hey! I thought you liked my Spidey buns!" Snug as an arachnid in a blanket, Peter waits inside one of the suits for the policeman - crooked or not, but definitely questionable it seems - to arrive. This is Ghost Spider's op, and he's going to follow her lead. Hopefully, he doesn't have to do anything, but he's there watching her rear if she needs it.

He glances to the side, as if forgetting that Bando will also be cloaked, and then looks forward again, watching as Gwen approaches the cops.

Bando George has posed:
Bando climbs into one of the suits. "Smells like an action figure," he comments on the fresh plastic smell that comes from it. He activates it, and disappears from sight. He does the same thing as Spidey, looking over to see that the webslinger is also invisible.
Jericho keeps his gun out, but lowers it as he assesses. At least he doesn't look like he's about to shoot anyone. Of course, given that there are a few crooks in a web prison between the two, it might be difficult for either of them to properly attack each other even if they tried.

Davis makes it to the back, but it's locked. A single tug on the door indicates that he arrived.

"Okay," Jericho says. "We're probably overdue anyway. Why don't you go first," he suggests with a raised eyebrow. "You've been stepping on what we're doing here for the last few weeks. Care to explain that?"

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"Stepping on what exactly?" Gwen asks in return, gesturing around the place, "But this is quite simple, a cop was shot in the middle of these investigations you claim to be doing. I am looking for the ones that shot him.." she says.

A glance is given over to the crooks. Cop killers? She isn't sure they are the type for it, but who knows? Yet a moment later her attention goes to Jericho again.

"And I know whatever is going on here isn't sanctioned by the PD, is it? So why don't you tell me what's going on?"

Bando George has posed:
"When you have a badge, you can make it your business to tell me what's sanctioned by the department," Jericho answers. "We're tryin' to get this black market weaponry off the streets before they make the next supervillain, and catch guys like these." He gives a nod to the crooks.

"What? You're supposed to be responding to a breaking and entering!" One of them objects. "They broke in here and attacked us!"

"Oh yeah, forgot to tell you, you're under arrest. You got the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." He finishes reading the rights. "Any questions?"

"Yeah, yer crooked!" The guy turns around to Gwen. "This here guy was gonna buy from us. Don't listen to him!"

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Gwen doesn't seem to care about their arguments. In fact she remains in place, mostly ignoring their claims on innocence on each side. She knows no one here is clean. So she makes the question again, this time her tone rather serious.

"Who shot Captain Stacy?"

Direct and to the point.

Bando George has posed:
The crook doesn't answer. Jericho gives a long pause. "We're looking into that," he says. "Captain Stacy may have gotten himself in deeper than he should have," he says. "The Captain is a good man. Don't go thinking he was on the wrong side of this. I'm guessing you heard he was suspended, thought you wouldn't have minded that. He's not exactly the biggest fan of vigilantes. We just have to follow protocol."

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"You guys need to come clean about it then, because an innocent man was accused." Gwen says about Captain Stacy, "And the streets continue to feel unsafe. If the suits really will help the police we can make it happen." a beat, "But if you are just some two-bit crook looking for some suits to do criminal stuff then we may just get to settle it now. Because there's no way I will get off your back if I find out these are not being used to help people."

"So how is it going to be?" She asks, folding her arms together. Eyes continue to follow the entrance, the surroundings, careful in case someone gets an itchy trigger finger.

Bando George has posed:
Jericho knits his brow, his jaw setting forward a little. He glances back at the crooks. "One of them know," he says. He's been knowingly doing business with the group that shot Stacy, and hasn't taken them in yet. The two crooks look at each other, and the tension can be tasted in the air. They don't talk, though. They don't dare.

"We came to get these things. To keep our cops safe." He looks back at the crooks. "And you trigger happy idiots decided to get itchy because some kid showed up at the wrong time. It was supposed to be a simple deal, and it all got complicated because you guys couldn't chill the hell out."

"Captain Stacy is a good man, Ghost Spider. I got nothin' but respect for him. But he wasn't gonna let us do this. If he had just kept his nose out of it, we'd have these things by now. Classify it as personal gear, everything's tidy. But he just couldn't leave it alone. Always following things by the rules, as if anyone else in this damned city follows the rules. You and your webslinging buddies included," he points a finger at Gwen accusingly. "So all us wearing blue targets on our heads? We end up as fodder because we can't keep up. Don't hink I'm gonna apologize for this. What happened to Stacy was bad, and avoidable. But I don't want more of our people to die when we got something in front of us that can fix it."

Gwen Stacy has posed:
It's true that Gwen isn't exactly the best at following the law. Clearly didn't take after her father. That it was one of these crooks though? That makes her jaw tremble. Furious. She closes her hands to fists and is silent for a while but in the end she nods. "Then I can get you the suits." she looks over her shoulder. "One of them. The others you will get after I am out of here."

"I know all about having to go around the law because people are in danger. I get it, I do it all the time when I put this suit on. But you guys really need to take a good, long look at yourselves." This part she talking to Jericho, "One of your own was shot. You know the group that did it and at the same time you did nothing. You are supposed to be better than that. I hope that with the suits you will finally figure out that you need to do the right thing, like accusing the guys that actually did it." a beat, "And clear the Captain's name."

She walks to the webs and starts taking them down.

Peter Parker has posed:
From his position in the back, Peter waits for a clearer sign of Gwen's intent. He is not sure if she is letting them walk, or just biding her time to round them up.

He would not judge her either way - he knows that if it were Aunt May or his late Uncle Ben that was involved, he would try to find the path that is best for them, as well. This is her show, and she is here with her until the end.

He tenses slightly as he stands in the suit, ready to move if the situation demands it.

Bando George has posed:
Jericho frowns. "Yeah, I'll see that it's cleared," he says, a certain discomfort in his voice.

As the webs come down, one of the crooks makes a bursting sprint to try to push past Gwen. Most likely the shooter of the two.

Peter Parker has posed:
As the crook goes bursting along, he suddenly finds himself flying through the air as his leg strikes _something_ unseen in his path. "This is yooooouuuuur conscience speaking," says Spider-man, making his voice all kinds of creepy and ghosty. "Yoooouuuuuu cannot waaaaaaaalk until you connnnnnfeeeessssssssss."

He keeps moving himself around, cloaked naturally, to trip the crook should he try to actually get up.;

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Gwen doesn't even bat an eye when one of the crooks makes a run for it. What she does is dodge out of the way of being pushed. But she also knows the guy isn't going anywhere, something that's proved when the ghost of Spidey's past comes knocking him down....

And of course that Gwen rolls her eyes hard at the spooky voice Peter tries to impose there. At least she doesn't sigh. But she does shoot a web to glue the guy down to the ground.

"Trying to run? Something to hide, is it? Were you the one that shot the captain?" She approaches him, hands still balled into fists at her side but she refrains from kicking or otherwise hurting the man. "Make sure to interrogate them, and as I said we will send the suits soon." she looks around her. "Just keeping the anonymity of some of my friends.."

Bando George has posed:
As if cued, Bando starts gathering up the other two suits when Gwen talks about getting the suits to them.
The crook faceplants into the heavy metal door that he meant to exit, falling to the ground as Spidey trips him over. "Ow, shit!" he grunts, grabbing his smashed face, only to be promptly glued to the ground. "You heroes and cops aren't so different," he growls. "Just teamin' up because it's convenient, huh?" he says. Jericho approaches, and pushes open the door. Davis is still on the other side of it. "Looks like we got'em," he says. "Show's over. Probably won't get many more suits. But I think we are gonna have an assaulting an officer charge to bring." He pulls out his cuffs, and nods to Ghost Spider. "I know you won't hear this from the Captain, but thanks. We need this stuff. He doesn't get that sometimes you just gotta bend the rules to help people keep'm. Guess it's the price we pay. Thanks."

Peter Parker has posed:
There is definitely a sound of footsteps on the ceiling, although rather quiet. Maybe just an indicating to Ghost Spider that Invisible Spider-man has cleared out of the way.
