Is it a bird
Date of Scene: 21 June 2022
Location: Titans Tower followed by the Fortress of Solitude.
Synopsis: After agreeing to model for Vivian's art project Kara brings a guest round to the Fortress of Solitude.
Cast of Characters: Vivian Vision, Kara Danvers

Vivian Vision has posed:
Sometimes Titans Tower can be pretty quiet. When the world isn't under threat of attack and the more mayhem prone members are away dealing with their non-costume lives. And it's in those moments of quiet that Vivian Vision finds herself in need of hobbies to fill up her time.

One of those hobbies has, of late at least, been creating art. A Human activity that machine learning often struggles with. At least without coming up with something that looks like melted nightmare fuel...

Of course it's finding inspiration that can cause trouble. Bowls of fruit and vases aren't very interesting. Landscapes are a bit beyond what she's been working on. Which doesn't leave many options other than people and a search of the Tower systems reveals there's at least one suitable candidate in the area!

Via her connection to the T-comms Viv sends out a little text query. 'Hey Kara, would you be interested in being a model for my art project?'

Kara Danvers has posed:
Conveniently, Kara was up in the area helping Terry's mother last night, and she hasn't headed back to Metropolis yet. Instead she stayed the night at the Tower, and so she's close at hand when the text query comes through.

For her part, Kara is pretty fascinated by art in general. Krypton was pretty creatively sterile, and she's found Earth's various art forms wonderful. She's even tried a bit of music (even if honestly, she's not very good at it). So when the text comes through, her eyes widen a little, before she sends back a message.

'Sure thing, Vivian! Where would you like to meet up? What's the project?'

Vivian Vision has posed:
When it comes to text based communication Viv is shockingly quick to respond. Or perhaps less shockingly when you factor in she's just thinking the words not typing! 'I've been trying to learn more about being Human by creating art. So far I've been drawing people.'

A moment later a follow up message comes along. 'I'm in the main room area if you would like to see some of my work.'

And indeed that's where she can be located. In her canary yellow cargo pants (the pockets are ideal for keeping art supplies in!), green top and plain sneakers. Plus a large artists sketchpad is resting across her knees as she flicks through the pages.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara sends back "Be there soon!" She's pretty quick to reply to, though nowhere near AI fast. But superspeed plus eagerness do get a pretty quick reply from the Kryptonian girl. At least she has enough restraint not to go sonic-booming through the tower to get to the main room area. She takes a more measured walk, so it's all of a couple minutes before she arrives.

Being in her Supergirl identity, of course, means the famous blue suit with the red cape and the crest. She smiles as she arrives, and gives a wave on entering the main area. "Hey there, Viv!" She seems to be in a pretty good mood at the prospect, walking up closer to the synthezoid.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision gives a shy little wave. She has not, so far at least, really shown anyone her work before now. "Hey Kara," she greets. "I hope that you are doing well?"

She adjusts the angle on the sketchpad, assuming from the response that Kara will want to take at least a little peek before volunteering fully. Technically it's all very competant. Her synthezoid nature makes accurate drawings fairly simple. And the subject matter is.. well.. pretty much just beautiful people. Some are wearing more than others and while it's not intended lewd there does happen to be a fair amount of skin on display.

It's all in the name of art though! Interesting shapes. Expressive looks.

Kara Danvers has posed:
The phrase "I don't know art, but I know what I like" could have been invented for Kara. She smiles, looking at the book in Vivian's hands. "That's gorgeous, Vivian." It's so realistic! She's clearly excited about the prospect. "I'd be happy to be a model for you." She's trying hard not to just bounce up and down on her toes, actually. "What do you need me to do?"

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian was perhaps not expecting compliments. Surely an advanced alien culture would find that kind of work a bit mundane? But who can say. It's not like Kryptonian history is a subject she's an expert in. "Well, firstly I usually find out what my model will be comfortable with. And then find a suitable location for the drawing."

Her eyes are a uniform glowing gold but it's still possible to tell she's looking Kara up and down. Considering her options.

"And after that it's a case of coming up with a pose. I.. would not wish to create anything which might harm my friendship with someone I am drawing. So if at any point something makes you uncomfortable please speak up!"

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Of course!" Kara's agreement seems to be a fairly blanket approval of the entire conversation. "I...suppose I would be comfortable with most things? And I'm sure whatever you draw, it isn't going to harm our friendship, Viv. Honestly, I'm thrilled to just be asked. I haven't seen anything wrong with any of the pictures at all!"

Yeah, she totally used her X-Ray vision to look through the entire book while it was there in Viv's hands. Hey, she /is/ excited.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"The Tower might be a little busy," Viv muses, looking around. "At least in the public areas. Do you keep a room here? Or perhaps nearby? It's just generally best to work somewhere quiet where interuptions won't happen."

Also if she tried to draw someone at the Tower a supervillain would one thousand percent pick that moment to attack...

"The entire process doesn't take as long as Human artist would need. But what time it does take I find is usually well spent talking to my subject and learning more about them."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"I haven't set up a room here, yet. But I do have one in Metropolis, and I could have us there in...well, no time at all, really." ESPECIALLY with Vivian; she could fly much faster with a synthezoid than she could with a human without turning them to jelly. "Or I have a room at the Fortress of Solitude, if we need that."

She almost seems disappointed when she hears it won't take "as long", but she hides that quickly. "Of course, you're the artist, after all!"

Vivian Vision has posed:
"So long as you feel comfortable there either of those places is fine!" Vivian isn't entirely sure what the Fortress of Solitude is. Other than a place connected to Kryptonians. But it has fortress in the name. So probably pretty discreet? "If you'd like to relocate us please feel free. I can phase my drawings and enhance my durability."

Even a brief expression tends to get picked up by her synthetic senses. Except perhaps if it comes at Flash speeds. "If you enjoy being a model I can always draw you in a few poses. Val was only intending on doing the one at first but ended up doing two costume changes." Of course Kara knew that after X-ray vision viewing them all.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara's eyes brighten at the prospect. "Well, I certainly wouldn't mind. Let's go to the Fortress. That way if I need other costumes, I can get them." She steps up next to Vivian. "May I pick you up?" She asks, offering to fly the both of them there. "And, are you spaceworthy?" The FASTEST way would be a suborbital hop.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision blushes slightly at the idea of being picked up. But it /is/ the most logical way to transport her to the location.

"I am able to exist within a vacuum and should be able to shift so the majority of my form doesn't exist for re-entry to avoid heat damage." Kara might recall that Viv did travel in space during a mission from before her recruitment into the Titans. Back when several members were missing. Although she was probably more concerned with a hostile spaceship at the time..

Kara Danvers has posed:
The Kryptonian smiles, and then will give her a quick scoop up into the traditional princess/wedding carry. "Okay, here we go!" And with that, it's off at superspeed till they're clear of the Tower, and then up, up, and away! She's not Flash-fast, but Kryptonians are no slouches, and with Vivian, she doesn't have to hold back as much. She soars skywards, and takes a deep breath, the blue of sky giving way to the black of space. With a quick orbital hop, she'll loop them up to the Arctic Circle, then down, the crystalline structure of the Fortress showing itself there.

As she lands inside and gently sets the other girl down, Vivian might be able to see why Kara has an appreciation for art. The Fortress is beautiful...in its own way. But it's a cold, crystalline, austere beauty. It's the beauty of a diamond, clear and static. Unchanging.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Given the nature of where she's being taken Vivian enacts a few memory encryption subroutines. Just to be sure no-one can hack or technopath her to view anything they shouldn't. You never can be too careful!

She is however very easy to transport. Being much more durable and able to make herself absurdly tough at the cost of a little extra mass. So thankfully the journey is without incident.

"This is certainly a very unique location," she muses. "I would ask if you are going to be okay posing here but you can travel in space. Which is far less hospitable temperature wise. You mentioned having a room here? Is it like a suite or a bedroom?"

She follows along behind Kara. Not wishing to go off exploring and run into any alien defense systems. "It just needs to be somewhere you'd be comfortable changing."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"It is! And don't worry, the Fortress can control the temperature very precisely if need be." She'll start through the Fortress, almost with a little skip to her step.

She arrives soon, walking into what seems like a small suite of rooms, almost an apartment. The architecture and furnishings here are very, very, Kryptonian. Unlike Kal, Kara remembers Krypton, and spent her early life there. This is the only place she can really experience it.

"Is there anything I can get for you, or anything that would help you?" She knows that Vivian doesn't need water or snacks, but it would still be rude not to offer! There is a closet here containing an array of clothing; the only part of the room that has human touches, since it has Earth apparel for her Kara Danvers identity.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision shakes her head. "I only really need food or drink if I need material to repair damage or if I expect to be in a low light environment for extended periods," she confirms with a smile. Cautiously taking a look around the room. "This really is a fascinating place."

There's a certain degree of look but don't touch about her exploration. You never know what might be an alien Objet d'art and what is a doomsday weapon.

"I know you said you'd be comfortable with any of the art styles," she starts nervously. "But is that really true? I have to admit I thought Kryptonians would be very reserved about a lot of.. uhm.. things." But then the worlds most famous grew up here. So really she has little idea what Kara's home is really like. "One thing I do know is it's probably best if I don't draw you in costume."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"It is." Kara says, reassuringly. Then it dawns on her a bit. "Oh, did you mean the naked drawings?" she asks looking curious about it. The aesthetic is smooth. Reflective. Crystals, polished metals. It's very graceful, very high tech in a post-tech kind of way. "And I can certainly take off the costume. Did you have an idea for an outfit you'd like me to wear, or should I wear nothing at all?"

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision blinks a few times. Her face colouring with a blush. "I hadn't really thought about it," she admits. "When I work on my art it means my emotional core is fully engaged. And I get prone to distractions and worrying about things I perhaps shouldn't be concerned with."

Like being princess carried for starters. "I didn't pack any clothing for you to try on. Which means I can either go through the options available.. or if you are happy to life model that would.." The blush has yet to fade. "Be fine too." A glance around the room. "What would be normal on Krypton? If it's okay for me to ask."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara displays a Kryptonian outfit from her closet. It's very long, draping kind of cloth attire. The closest analog for Viv would probably be ancient Roman togas, though not as voluminous. "This would be Kryptonian attire." Again, very austere. "But here, come on over! You can take a look at what I've got, or I would be fine life modeling. Kryptonians wore clothing, of course..." she gestures to her closet. "But we don't have a nudity taboo like humans do."

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian comes over and takes a peek at the toga like robe. "Would it just be worn like that? Single layer over skin?" she wonders. "Because of the way a synthezoid personality is created I sadly have a lot of Human taboos pre-installed. And with my emotional core enabled they do tend to get in the way of logic."

"If you are sure that's okay.." She glances at Kara's closet and then shrugs. "I do think you would make a wonderful subject as you are naturally."

Her brow furrows. "If Kryptonians don't care about nudity do they still feel physical attraction to people? Or is it generally more a mental state? Assuming of course Kryptonians do actually have those feelings."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"There are often a couple layers. A shoulder-and-chest mantle worn over the robe is not uncommon. Of course, we had different attires for different activities." While the discussion of nudity doesn't bother her, she actually blushes at the question of attraction. "We were discouraged from physical attraction; Kryptonians didn't reproduce through normal physical activities, culturally, for a very long time. Things were handled in a lab. Mental attraction was...well, tolerated, at least. Though generally it was more meant to find a partner who would be genetically compatible for an optimum offspring."

Vivian Vision has posed:
"In some ways I think that sounds great," Vivian says with a sigh. "Physical attraction is very awkward. I often find it makes me act weirdly around people." She tentatively opens the dresser up to peek at whatever clothing might be inside. Perhaps she'll find inspiration inside.

"Aside from brief meetings I don't really know any other Kryptonians very well. So I hope you don't mind if I ask questions. I'd like to get to know more about you as part of the creative process."

"When you're ready to.. you know.." There's a wavy hand motion that could mean anything from take up basket weaving to disrobe. "Please feel free. Also, now that I think about it I don't really know Kryptonian anatomy very well. Would you also be comfortable walking around a little afterwards?"

Kara Danvers has posed:
There's underclothing. Thankfully, that's mostly the same through cultures, although in this case, her /earth/ underclothes are actually more lacy and involved than her Kryptonian underthings. "Please, feel free to ask anything you like." She reaches up, detaching her cape and folding it before placing on her bed, then hovers up to take off her boots, which get set at the foot of it. The skirt is next, leaving her in what is essentially just the bodysuit, like a gymnastics leotard. She reaches behind herself, breaking the seal, and then peels it forward before sliding the suit off her body. Bare now, but with no embarassment, Kara lands, and stands. "Anatomically we're basically just like humans externally." She'll walk a few steps, then turn, and walk back. "If there's any specific way you need me to move, please, just ask."

Vivian Vision has posed:
"A few simple stretches perhaps? Like you're warming up for exercise," Vivian requests, giving the alien garments an idle prod to see if they at least feel better than they look. "Some facing towards me and some away from me."

She closes the dresser for now. In part because she needs to focus on Kara if she's going to make requests. And also because you never know just what you'll find when you rummage around in someones dresser.

"Do you have a best side? Or any features you are more or less confident about? Although from what you've told me it seems unlikely."

Kara Danvers has posed:
That actually gets a bit of a blush, that Kara tries to beat back. "No, no...nothing I'm more or less confident about." THAT would be a lie, if Viv's got /any/ ability at reading people.

Kara busies herself with the request for stretching, and will do exactly that. Stretching from one leg to the other, rotating arms, toe-touch, and a general "loosen up" sort of stretch. Then she turns 180 and does the same thing facing away from Viv. She's treating it very exactingly, in the way of someone trying a scientific thing, or baking. Be exact.

The fabric is very, very smooth. The weave is very tight, so much so that it almost feels more like a flexible polymer than a cloth.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Synthezoids think and process information at a speed which is beyond Human. Micro-expressions last plenty of time to observe and consider. But her knowledge in this field is basically entirely keyed to Human normal. But a blush is pretty easy to figure out at least.

"Can you keep a secret?" Viv wonders. Not pausing for an answer she adds "A lot of the time I get a little jealous of some of my models. My figure is a bit boring in comparison and it's not like I'm going to undergo a late growth spurt."

She sits quietly through the stretching routine. Just getting a good idea of what muscles will show from what position.

"It's funny but the Kryptonian clothing feels a lot like Synthezoid garments. In that it's less of a fabric and more of an advanced meta-material... Even if in my case that meta-material is the same substance my skin is made from."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara nods emphatically at Viv's words. "For me, it's..." She pauses, thinking how to describe it. "Are you familiar with Power Girl?" The other female Kryptonian out there. Kara's blushing some already, as she looks back to Vivian. In this moment, she feels very teenagery, less the young adult that she's on the cusp of being. "And you're right, Kryptonian materials were meant to be really advanced. Earth tech is SO backwards."

Vivian Vision has posed:
"She has helped with a few missions I have also been involved in," Vivian confirms. Biting her lip a little. "And I think she was at Nadia and Janets birthday celebration. She is very. Athletic and tall." And while this is both tactful and true her eyes do give away her meaning.

"I'd offer to let you try my things on sometime. As they are vastly more advanced. But they are linked directly to my senses and I do not know if they would really fit that well."

"I think I have a good idea of what pose to use," she decides. Motioning for Kara to come a little closer. "Could you stand with one leg slightly forward, with your hand about here, and then put your other hand on the hip of your other leg? Then just shake your hair a little so it's like it was a bit blustery."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Well, not a lot of people know it...but she's me. Literally me, from another universe, and older. We're both Kara Zor-El." Kara explains to Vivian. "But I haven't...caught up yet." Yeah, she blushes at that. She's insecure in comparison to her older self, and also the knowledge that one day, she's going to mature into being the boob queen of the comic universe.

She steps over, and strikes her pose, before tossing her hair. "Oh, also...since I can float or fly, if you want to do 3D poses, we can do that too." she offers.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"I would never have considered her as a suitable model. If that makes you feel better," Vivian informs solemnly. A decision not entirely based on looks. Partly it's because Power Girl is scary and keeps turning up to annihilate things like an anime hero known for single punches. "But please rest assured. You are delightful as you are."

She gets the art supplies and sketchpad out. Then settles into a suitable drawing position.

"I know that it probably was not your ideal sequence of events to come to Earth, but do you like it here?" She blinks. "Three dimensional poses could be interesting, but I would have to calculate a suitable angle."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Well, a little bit? I mean...I'm going to end up looking like her, once I'm older." she admits. It's odd when your older self is around to compare to.

"Coming to Earth beats being dead, unlike all the rest of my people. And I do like it. Mostly. But it does feel a lot like being trapped in the Stone Age sometimes."

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision tilts her head to one side and starts drawing. Filling in a little of the surroundings first. "Is that why you joined GIRL? It's like being with the people using bronze tools instead of stone?"

She frowns.

"I have no idea what I'll look like when I'm older. I could stay this way forever or I could hit a certain point and need to replace my body with another one. I believe it's to replicate the uncertainty that Humans feel about getting old."

"I know I would very much like society to advance to the point where I have any legal rights at all. It seems a bit backwards and I was created here."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Yes. By Rao, yes." Kara says, emphatically, holding her pose while Vivian starts. "I was at the science academy on Krypton. I was good at science, even by the standards of my people. At least with GIRL, they've got SOME idea with science."

The blonde looks Vivian over, up and down. "Well, you could likely modify your own body, no? I mean, assuming you understand the techniques of your own creation. Krypton had AIs, and synthetic beings, but your design is a different path from the one I'm familiar with."

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision bites her lip. "I generally try to think I look okay as I am," she says shyly. "But I am working on a project to produce a synthezoid pet dog. Which I think will improve my understanding of how I'm constructed."

Her drawing has moved on from purely the background. Now she's sketching incredibly light outlines. Areas she will add more detail to as she goes on.

"Are there any things which are better here? Like the way you described relationships on Krypton did not seem very exciting. Is it better or just different here?"

Kara Danvers has posed:
"You look fine, Vivian. You're very pretty." Kara offers. Of course, every young girl is self-conscious in one way or another. "And I definitely think Earth's art is far better, and creativity. Emotional expression. Sure, they don't have anything on us scientifically, but there's more to life than just science."

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision blushes. "I was not intending to fish for compliments," she notes. "But I am always happy to receive them."

Despite chatting away Viv seems able to draw without really paying much attention to her hands or the drawing. Even if she's doing the drawing manually like a Human her memory and muscle control are so detailed she knows exactly where the pencil is related to everything else. "Personally I find the whole relationship thing extremely confusing. Sometimes people are flirting because they're just naturally like that. Other times it's because they want something. And occasionally they aren't flirting because they /do/ like someone. And even if someone likes you they might have very different notions about how to go about it."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara nods. "Kryptonians didn't DO "relationships". So for me, it's so frustrating. No one comes out and says what they really mean. There's this intricate sort of...flowchart that you're supposed to do, and I have no idea how to recognize what step it's on, or where to go from there." While she's talking, it's the only part of her that's moving. The rest of her might as well be a statue.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision blinks a few times. "Wait there is a flowchart?" she asks hopefully. "I find flowcharts /extremely/ helpful but have nothing even remotely similar in my records. And even the guidance I do have is really not that good. My personality is based on a merging of my parents with some additional data."

She shakes her head with dismay. "Neither of which were really interested in the same things I am. I also have directives telling me to rebel against societal norms. That was one of the reasons I thought I would draw art which is a little more provocative than just sketching a landscape."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Well, it certainly feels like there OUGHT to be!" Kara says, emphatically. And frustratedly. "Kal's no help. He grew up here. I don't have anyone who's in my same situation to be able to explain any of this." Honestly, her situation and Vivian's aren't that different, in some ways.

"Especially depending on what you're drawing. Humans consider things like life drawing a lot more provocative than drawing fruit in a bowl."

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision nods emphatically. "Exactly," she agrees. "I feel that way all of the time. In the simulation I was raised in I... I had a twin brother but when it broke and I woke up... Everyone I grew up with was just gone. Like they never existed. And now I'm the only female synthezoid on Earth."

She sighs.

"If you would like I would be happy to form a pact of total honesty with you? In which you can ask me anything you wish and I'll tell you the truth. Providing it's not another persons secret. It'd be okay to keep confidences with others."

The drawing is taking shape even as Kara watches (presumably she can see the pencil lead through the paper!). Her figure is largely complete and it's increasingly just fine detail work getting added.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara winces at that. "I'm really sorry to hear that, Viv. But I'd be happy to have this...pact. Honestly, I'd just call it being good friends." She IS, in fact, watching through the paper, so she can see the image. She's really curious to see art of herself, and see what details Vivian is going through.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"I realise I have been asking you a lot of personal questions," Vivian muses thoughtfully. "Is there anything at all you'd like to ask me? I like to think I am fairly open about most things. So perhaps there is not much for people to be curious about."

It would of course be horribly rude not to at least offer!

"I've made most of my project notes about Sparky accessable on the GIRL network if that is of interest! I still don't know if I will be able to gather the required resources to create him. I've also had people ask me things which make me suspect they have ethical concerns. Although I don't really understand the logic behind some of them."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Well, let's start with a basic one...I don't even really know how old you are! Also, you said parents, but you're constructed, so how does that work? Also, I'm really not familiar with AI that have emotions. How did they establish your emotional matrix? Or did you establish it?" With the permission given, the floodgates open up.

Kara is looking both at Vivian's motions, as well as seeing the images on the paper itself. "Also, do you just sketch, or do you do colors as well?"

Vivian Vision has posed:
The synthezoid blinks a few times. Perhaps she forgot Kara was a scientist for a moment? "Chronologically I'm just over 3 years old. However my personality was created in a virtual high speed environment. A simulated world. Vision created me using scans of his mind and scans of my mothers mind blended together. She passed away as well. Roughly I'd say my mental age is between eighteen and nineteen now. Unless you count split run time in which case I'm probably over a hundred."

She pauses as if trying to decide how best to explain something.

"I consider my creator to be my parent. My creators creators creator was Doctor Pym. So Nadia is my Great Aunt."

A few blinks. "I don't really know. I think that happened before I was fully self aware. But my brain has two main processing areas. My logical mind and my emotional core. Each handle tasks based on need." She glances down at the sketchpad. "Only drawing so far. I've not attempted painting. It's.. honestly a lot harder because Humans have such a limited perception of colour."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Who is your mother then, if I can ask? If it's too painful, I understand." Kara listens, thoughtfully. "They do. I don't, though. If you wanted a chance to do something with a proper spectrum of colors, I'd love to put it on my wall."

She offers back as she looks to Vivian. "That's nicely detailed." She nods to the sketch that Vivian is still working on.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision glances down and bites her lip. "Her name was Viriginia," she says quietly. "She is not.. someone I enjoy talking about. She did a very bad thing to me. I am unsure if I am ready to forgive her for it yet."

She resumes quiet sketching for a moment. "It was probably very inconsiderate for me to ask so many questions about a place you can't return to. I hope it did not upset you in any way."

The main thing Viv has yet to add much detail to is Kara's expression. Like she's waiting to capture just the right moment.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Well, that statement will get Kara's expression to go sad. "It's all right, I don't miss the place, as much as I miss the people. I miss my parents. I miss my friends." Her eyes go a little gleaming with unfallen tears. "Maybe we should just focus more on this world, and now. I think our pasts are making both of us sad.

Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian Vision nods. "I certainly don't want to capture you looking depressed," she tries to sound a little more upbeat, in the hope that adopting the tone will help adopt the mood. "I am thinking.. confident and comfortable. So anyone who does see the drawing thinks it's normal rather than shocking."

She taps the pencil against the side of her sketchpad.

"Is there a food here which is especially pleasant to a Kryptonian? I imagine your senses are so vastly different to a Humans that you wouldn't necessarily find the same things tasty. Like when Starfire picks pizza and no-one else really gets it."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Actually, I've adapted some Kryptonian dishes for Earth options! Kvornish Pork, H'raka kabobs. I can let you try some of it! Do you perceive taste the same way that humans do?" she asks, her momentary sadness lost in a topic she's now excited about. "I could make us something to eat, after this. Also, potstickers are really delicious. And donuts! Do you cook?"

Vivian Vision has posed:
"I can in theory consume food," Vivian says, chewing at her lip a little. "But I've never eaten it. Mostly I just run off sunlight. I don't think my sense of taste maps at all with anything organic. I can tell you the exact chemical breakdown of something. And then make a value based judgement about texture and other sensory input."

"There are a few things which I can taste that will trigger a specific like response. But it's sort of hard to explain that in a culinery sense."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Well, then you certainly have to try some food. Just to see if you like it. Terry's mom made some really good cookies last night." Kara's attention floats back to that for a moment, and only then does she sort of come back.

"I'm not distracting you, am I? Am I still holding still, or do you have me for this pose?" she asks, though still, to this point, her body hasn't so much as twitched.

Vivian Vision has posed:
"The thing is.. it's not so much the eating I have a problem with as," Viv starts, then she winces. "You know. The processes which happen to the food after." She seems absolutely mortified to have said this. But she promised to be honest. Which has lasted perhaps five minutes before causing her regret.

"Distracting me?" she makes a polite little cough sound. "Oh it's fine I'm almost done. You can move around now if you'd like. Usually I say to people that I can compensate for some motion, but it didn't really seem necessary this time."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara's eyes widen at that. "OH! You can eat, but you don't have any...right. Got it." She blushes just a touch at that. "Okay, so maybe not a cooking session. Sorry."

"And that's fine. Kryptonians don't build up lactic acid the same way that humans do. So I can hold a pose as long as I'm conscious, pretty much. I was just curious. I freely admit I'm excited to see how it will look, and what the next pose will be."

Vivian Vision has posed:
"I like to cook for other people," Vivian assures cheerfully. "You don't have to feel bad about wanting to cook. I did a food project with Kaida a while ago. It was fun. We were working on capsule based nutrition."

She makes the few finishing touches on the sketch. A little more boldness to a line here. A little deft touch with her finger to create some shading there. And it's complete.

"Is there any sort of pose you would like to try? I can holoproject all sorts of art books at a high speed if you'd like to get inspiration. Or I could come up with another if you prefer more creative direction?"
