Monet St. Croix has posed:
She had tkaen to flying to try and clear her head. Injries healed. Ego never going to. But the words that the other woman had given her had been a source of strength. And so Monet St. Croix would just try to fly along through the horizon, going through the area about the sea and to get a bteter view of the sea. Sewage-stuffed as it was.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara's on her way in from Bludhaven. So much to do, so little time. The blonde in the blue suit with the red cape is arcing through the sky, in the direction of Titans Tower.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
And then Monet goes to catch sight of Kara, heading along parallel to her, "Hello. I wished to.. Thank you for the talk we had a few days ago. It.. Has given me much to think on."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Supergirl slows in flight, and then moves to a hover. Her expression is...mildly annoyed? "Sure. Whatever you needed to hear to get you through your emo phase. Good to see you've recovered." She looks over to Monet, considering the other girl.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
What? Monet's caught by surprise enough by this that she does, in fact, go with the normal reaction of attempting a quick surface psi-scan. "Emo phase?" The other woman's body language seems dismissive but also sincere.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Emo phase." Supergirl repeats. "The one where you were all "boo-hoo, I got my ass beat by a kaiju so I'm worthless." She crosses her arms over her chest. The telepathic scan picks up impatience, amusement, and general...well, nastiness. This does NOT seem like the sweet girl who sat on a roof and tried to help inspire Monet.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
And Monet picks up on this. While she didn't look at the mind of the woman before.. Something is immediately wrong here. She can get that. "And why such petulance then? You seem to be quite pithy over it."
    Ego issues aside, Monet -definitely- did not get the 'smack talk' thing.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"You're the one who flagged me down." Supergirl points out. "I was just congratulating you on getting over it. I mean, you've got some decent powers. You're reasonably hot. You've got better things to do with your life than mope around on a roof. Glad to see you getting over it."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would glance at Kara in annoyance, "-Reasonably- hot?" Apparently of all those things -that- was the thing that actually irritated her or so as her body language went. "I am.. Sorry for assailing you. Are you all right? Is there something that you would like to speak about? Forgive me, politeness goes both ways. you were of an aid to me. So it behooves me to return it. Can I help?"

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Reasonably hot." Supergirl repeats. When Monet makes her earnest, kind offer, the Girl of Steel...snickers. Looks honestly amused. "Oh, that's so cute. You think I need help? Especially /your/ help? Honey. From everything I've seen, you're a discount me. How are /you/ possibly going to help /me/?" Yeah, this is definitely not the same Supergirl, at least not by behavior.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
This sort of situation is quite befuddling to Monet whom can only stare over at her for a moment. Then the girl would rub at her temples, "Very well. If we're going full 'Mean Girls' I believe you are required to adjust your outfit. I might suggest getting a Van Dyne original if you're looking for something to represent your enw phase of growth and maturity."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"I should probably look for something better than the cheerleader look here. But it'll do in the short term. Was there something else? I sort of have actual business to do rather than hang out and support the junior varsity." she says, looking over to Monet.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Interesting. Very interesting. "Oh? So what brought this new and superior transition about? I'm sure that those so inferior and trivial as myself are unworthy of it.. But don't you need to in turn grace us with your supremacy so that we can udnerstand how pathetic we are in the greater scheme of things?" Monet goes to offer that up in her best attempt at appealing to the new side of Kara.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Nothing new about being superior. Just got tired of pretending I'm not. And you don't need to try the sarcasm. Like I said, you've got decent powers, you're basically Mini-Me. If I ever decide I want a sidekick, you're on the short list." Supergirl says.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would ah, "Of course. So what lead you to decide that it wasn't worth your time to pretend anymore? I can't imagine how trying and tiring that must have been. So what if anything lead to the realization?" That gave another little bit of information to her analysis.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara shrugs her shoulders. "Honestly? I'm not sure. Just came to me the other day." Sounds like mental muddlery. Something a lot more common over in the Mutant side of the world; Monet would probably recognize it a lot quicker than some other folks Kara hangs out with.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Definitely some sort of psionic influence or alteration. there seemed to be enough of the girl's normalcy in her that it wasn't that significant. She was barbed but hardly wretched. "Of course. Do forgive me, normally these sorts of realizations have something to trigger thier awareness. Annoyed at having your talents wasted on something trivial, mundane, someone having you handle what they should thesmelves and feeling your time has been wasted.."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Supergirl rolls her eyes. "Ugh, yes. SO much time wasted." She agrees. "See, you even /get it/. Like I said. Definitely sidekick material." Amusingly, this version of Kara seems to be acting superior and well...let's just say it might be a little like looking in a mirror in some ways..

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would float and cross her arms, "Yes, yes, what was it? Get a cat out of a tree? Pull thier car out of a ditch? Hold something big for them while they got distracted talking to someone else and ignored you?"

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Oh, the realization? Hmm." Supergirl looks like she's thinking about it. "I don't know if it was anything specific. Just woke up and was SO tired at the idea of doing everything for everyone anymore. I'd spent almost the entire day prior dealing with all kind of crap in Metropolis. So now, I'm doing things for me."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix considers, "So it all suddenly came to you out of nowhere when you woke up? An excellent realization. Sometimes the brain eneds tiem to process things. So it was probably several days of such issues before you went to sleep and understood."

Kara Danvers has posed:
    Supergirl nods...and then frowns a little bit. "Why the junior psychoanalysis bit?" She asks, looking a little suspicious. "Don't you have something better to do?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would shrug, "Merely from a position much like yourself, but in the.. Junior varisty, as you putit.. I'm hoping that I can by watching you get a better understanding for how I can make more realizations about myself. And use it to help ensure I'm not spending time with those that are unworthy of it."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Something tells me you're already pretty good at not spending time with those unworthy of it. But I really DO have business I have to get to. Murder rocks in some people's hands, that really shouldn't have them." Supergirl looks back. "And I don't remember seeing you at any of the meetings."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Murder rocks? "And what sort of business then? Those things sound quite dangerous. Particularly for those that have things which they don't deserve. Please do let me know if I can be of assistance?" Mildly irritated Kryptonian and 'murder rocks' did not go well together.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Maybe. If it degenerates to me needing to TAKE them, then having a second pair of fists around...especially someone handy like you...could prove useful. But I'll try the tactful route first. Dealing with that pile of baggage would be easier if it can stay friendly." Supergirl says. Though, the fact that she's considering the first is probably not good.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Huh. Interesting. This narrows it down more. "There are more.. Polite ways ot negotiate if you're requiring them to be nice with it and give in to your terms. No need to lower yourself to their thresshold to interact with them after all." Monet would fold her arms. "There are simpler ways to -get- them."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"What did you have in mind?" Supergirl asks, curiously. "If there's an easier way to do this, I'm all ears." Her cape flutters in the wind as she speaks. She's even hovering just a /bit/ higher than M, so that she's looking down on the other girl.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
This is pique. Monet would shrug, "Something to fully demonstrate your supremacy in a way that they clearly have no hope of countering and in a way that showcases off the vast divergence in your capabilities to drive the point home. Show them what you're capable of so as to disincentivize a fight and arguing."

Kara Danvers has posed:
    "Mmm. Somehow it feels like throwing a mountain at them is only more likely to get more people on my ass. Not what I'm trying for." Whatever mental divergence she has, while she's showing ego, she's not showing megalomania.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
So in the end it's a relatively minor bit of mental manipulation rather than a monstrous one. There are degrees. "I was going tos uggest lifting the building up several stories and then putting it back." Monet goes to allow.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Hmm. Do-able. I'll keep it as a stage two, if asking doesn't start things off my direction. How do I get ahold of you?" Supergirl asks Monet. "I may want to get in touch before this is all over."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod at Kara, "Of course. I can give you my phone number. Just do ensure that you label me properly in your contacts list." she would go to then recite a specific burner number and scramble frequency

Kara Danvers has posed:
    Supergirl nods. "I don't think I ever got your full name. How do I record you?" she asks. She can remember the number easily enough.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix woulds mile, "I am Monet Yvette Clarisse Maria Therese St. Croix. You may call me Monet or M." She would dip her head and then offer out a hand tos hake.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"THAT is a heck of a name. A pleasure though, Monet. You can call me Kara." Supergirl offers her first name back to the other girl. "I'll get in touch with you if it comes up."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would smile, "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Kara. And to get to meet you on better terms than last time. Please do let me know how I can help." This is relatively minor. The Kryptonian's just been given a light mental manipulation to make her a little more aggressive and assertive. On the grand scheme of psionics..

Kara Danvers has posed:
Supergirl nods, and with that, she'll streak off through the sky, continuing on her original path. Like she said...business to do.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would just go to rub at her temples, "Lovely." she would sigh over. Well, now she's going to have to pass along the information. But she knows to not verbalize that.
