Bunny Macleod has posed:
New Lots -- Brooklyn. The steamy summer night has given breath to a concrete section of abandoned parking lot, where people are gathered for a Good Time. 80's music is bumping from a DJ stand, and Madonna's 'Like a Prayer' is playing as people are enjoying one of the best retro activities -- ROLLER SKATING.

There's no rink, just concrete and cemement. People of all walks of life are rolling around in a big circle, from little tots with primary color wheels to people sporting 1970's aesthetic and mustaches.

And skating in and out of the crowd, curly pink hair under a helmet with a unicorn horn and some sparkly wings on it, is a rainbow-tutu-skirted, sparkly-tight-wearing, Bright-red-Tank-toped girl, clapping along with the music, helping some kids with their stances and balance as she skates backwards with an ease and skill that is the familiarity with her skates, as if they are an extension of herself.

Billy Batson has posed:
It's not like the old days where Billy could just go wherever he liked because there was no one around to check up on him, but back in those days he wasn't capable of flying around the planet in minutes. New York was a lot of fun, and Brooklyn especially. So here he is. He's eschewed the whole superhero form for the moment, instead opting for a screen-printed Superman t-shirt and a pair of jeans. He sits on an upper level of the parking lot, leaning over the railing with his legs dangling down as he watches the skaters. His phone is in his hand, but for once his nose isn't buried in it.

"Do a jump!"

Bunny Macleod has posed:
The Unicorn-helmeted rainbow girl looks up at the Superman T-shirted kid on the upper level, and she favors him with a bright smile as she skates backwards, turning to look over her shouder. There's a couble of concrete barriers, to help people stop if they need to and not crash into the turn on the skaters, and she picks up speed, backwards, then lifts one foot, balancing on a single skate, bending her knee and then springing back, turning her body in the process as she rights herself skating forward on two skates, and she points up at Billy.

"That's for you, Superman! Bit outta Metropolis aincha?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy lets out a loud 'whoop!' and claps his hands, adding a noisy cheer. When he's done, he leans forward on his arms over the railing to look down at the unicorn skater girl.

"Don't you know Superman gets around? Besides, I'm more of a Shazam fan ... except he doesn't have merch."

He grins at his secret little joke, tilting his head to the side for a moment before hazarding to ask.

"What's your name?"

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"I was about to say you're a little short for Superman!" the girl gives a smile, and she breaks away from the crowd, skating up and coming up underneath Billy. She raises her eyebrows a moment, and gives a smile. "Shazam, huh? Not familiar with that one, but he sounds cool!" she calls up.

    "I'm Bunny. What's your name, Shazam-Fan?"

Billy Batson has posed:
"Hey, Bunny!" he calls out with a grin, "I'm Billy."

That said, he slips under the railing and drops down to the same level as the skater girl. It's not a short fall by any means, but it's not so far that he can't land on his feet without injury. He tucks his phone away into his pocket, along with both his hands.

"This place is cool."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Bunny gives a grin, and leans on the barrier, watching as Billy makes his descent down and then his way over to her, and she gives a nod "YEah, a couple ngihts a montht he skater clubs come out and just sorta make this safe space for people to learn how to roller-skate. I've been doing it since I was really little, so... I help out sometimes." she gives a little smile, and then points up to the DJ booth. "And he's my older brother. So I help set up and break down stuff." she comments.

"So, did you come out and find us on facebook? Yelp? Police blotter?" she jokes.

Billy Batson has posed:
"Just heard the music," Billy answers, leaning over the barrier himself and following Bunny's gesture to the DJ booth, "Heard it and thought I'd come in and see what was going on."

He turns back to her with a smile: "Glad I did. This is dank."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"Thanks, I'll let him know once we burn this disco out." she gives a grin. "Do you know how to skate, Billy, Fan of Shazam, Definitely Not of Brooklyn?" she inquires, her skates sliding back and forth, wheels rollin' and catching the light as she raises her eyebrows.

Billy Batson has posed:
"Uh, not really," Billy answers, peering over the railing at her skates and then back into the rainbow-colored girl's eyes, "Didn't exactly do a ton of it where I'm from. Looks fun, though. Think you'd teach me sometime?"

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Her eyes are green, like unpolished jade. She gives a grin, and she holds up her BRIGHT NEON YELLOW skates, and gives a little 'hmmm' sound. "My other brother has a spare set. They need a tune up, but I can loan them to you if you come next week?" Bunny replies to Billy.

Billy Batson has posed:
"Yeah, I can do that," Billy answers, making the promise because he's in school - what plans does he have besides occasionally turn into Earth's Mightiest Mortal and fight evil?

He pulls his phone from his pocket, unlocking it and holding it out to her.

"So, Bunny the Skater Girl. Want to give me your number or should I just show up here next week and cross my fingers?"

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Bunny gives a smile and accepts the phone. She looks at it for a moment, and then turns a 180, leaning against the barrier and against Billy and she flashes a peace sign and gives a wink as she catches a selfie.

She then types her number into the phone, and sends a text to her own number.

And she gives a little grin over to Billy.

    "What's your shoe size, Billy?"
