Cast of Characters: Micola Maximoff, Pietro Maximoff

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola had been overjoyed that the second floor had been cleared out while she was in the hospital and thankfully none of her storage stuff got tossed out. So bonus for those cleaning guys! The shop downstairs is still closed. Micola has been avoiding the basement when she can and with there being newly installed AC on the second floor that means that the blue haired woman is puttering around up there.

Her hair is brighter for sure, not so much green anymore either. She's dressed in a pair of loose fitting lounge pants and a black tank top as she hums to herself and goes about opening up a few of the totes that were up there. "Oh, so that's where those went." she muses to herself as she picks up an old bat Halloween decoration.

Tucked into one of the back corners of the loft is a bed that was probably delivered today with a few bags from some store settled on top of it. Apparently no more sleeping in the basement for her!

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
The speedster had been out running errands - returning with food! All sorts of Chinese food, in tidy little cartons. Pietro made his way upstairs, setting the food down on a nearby surface, still in its carryout box. "Dinner is served." Pietro gives her a grin. He looks about, the man smirking just a bit.

"What do you think?" He motions around to the clean room. "Thoughts on how to decorate?" He wonders, moving to fetch a couple of plates. "I expect to find a plumber and electrician to better outfit up here..."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"My hero." Micola tells him with a smile as he returns with food. There was an older dining table and a few chairs up here, so they'd do for now for dinner eating! "Thank you, I think I let time get away from me." she admits as she looks around. Then she heads over to the table and smiles, "I've actually got a few ideas sketched up if you want to look over them?" she asks him.

"I think it's wonderful and I appreciate you getting this done for us." she tells him. "And yeah, there are lines to water and things. Just need to get things back to working order, so both of those would be helpful." she nods to him. "How was your day?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"Anything for you." Pietro responds, moving over to kiss her cheek. "How are you feeling? Still sore, or is it fading?" The man wonders, dishing up plates for each of them. He fetches water for each, bottles will do for now. "I'm sure you have more energy now that you're out of the hospital. It tends to brighten one's mood when free of the infirmary." A wink.

"I am happy to make things happen for us - this is the start." He chuckles, pulling out a chair for her. "My day was good, checked in with the team and ran a few patrols. Everything seems to be in order." A slight smile. "It is of course, better now that I am home."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola flushes a little as he kisses her cheek, "It is fading. I think as long as I don't try to move fifty pound objects by myself it should be fine. The doctor said the wounds were healing up nicely." she smiles to that. "It will scar, but I don't mind that." she admits. "I was going a bit stir crazy in the hospital, but better now." she grins. She takes a seat though, tucking her leg up into the chair.

"I think the healing and medicine has my emotions all bent out of shape." she muses to him. "It is a very good start. I found all my halloween decorations." she teases him gently. "How was the team doing? Hopefully not too much going on." she comments to him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"No lifting. Not until you're cleared by the doctor. Abdominal muscles are used too much, and you might aggravate your injury." Pietro offers, placing a napkin in his lap. "Good to hear about the healing, though!" A smile and a nod to the woman sitting across from her. "You might make a tattoo to enhance the scar?"

A nod and sympathetic smile when she mentions the emotions being all out of sorts. "You've had a lot going on, Micola. Your emotions are likely all over the map - that's to be expected." He suggests. "And already getting ready for Halloween? Is this something that I should expect in July?" Pietro teases. He takes a sip of his water, smirking. "The team is doing well, from what I have been told."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"Yes sir." Micola tells him with a grin. "Hopefully it'll be soon...or sorta soon." she states as she takes a drink of her water. "Tattooing around scars is not the best idea sadly. The scar tissue can sometimes cause an issue." she explains. She then looks to him and there's a soft smile.

"You're right, a lot going on and well...I still need to look into sitting down and sorting through it." she sighs. The comment about Halloween makes her smile, "You know they already have released Halloween decorations for this year." she grins to him. "But no, I won't decorate for Halloween just yet." she winks at him.

"And how are /you/ doing?" she asks him seriously.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
There's an 'ah' from Pietro as she explains about the scar. "That's unfortunate, then." He says, with a smile. "I thought it would look striking." A wink. "We'll have to focus on Lorna's design, or one for me." He waggles his brows.

As she mentions discussing what had happened, he slides his hand across the table to clasp hers. "We can find someone for you to talk to, as well. Help sort things out." He assures. A slight grin to her at the mention of the decor. "Perhaps September, yes? Let your ghostly friends get a respite?"

"I am doing all right. I am happier now that you are mending and out of the hospital" He admits. "I was very worried."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"The scars not going to bother you...is it?" Micola asks him with a bit of a worried look. She was hoping it wouldn't. "Scars tend to look very striking on their own, adding ink to them is sometimes an enhancement, but not one I'd recommend most times." she admits. "And yes, I need to focus on your tattoos so we can get those done." she grins to that.

She squeezes his hand in turn and there's a soft smile to him, "I think a counselor might be good, yeah. I just...I don't feel comfortable and it's not something I'm used to." she frowns.

"Though it's better when someone is around, but you have work and things." she points out. "I do have a question for you, what is your favorite season?" she asks him curiously.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
There's a blink and a shake of his head. "No, the scars will not bother me, Micola." Pietro answers quickly. "Not even a little bit." A smile. "And yes, scars can be very striking. They tell stories of survival and strength." A wink. "Did you have something in mind for ink on me?"

"I know of a few counselors, but we should find one you feel at ease speaking to. I want you feeling comfortable and normal, again." Another nod to her. "As we go through life... especially as mutants, we have some difficult moments that will imprint upon us. And they take time to heal through."

"I will be about as much as you need." Pietro explains. "Season..." That gives him a bit of pause. "I like winter, if only because the world seems more still."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola gives a soft smile to him as she lets her fingers brush against his arm, "Insecurities might be a little high as well post all of this. I don't really like the nagging thoughts in my brain, but, we'll get it sorted." she nods to him. "I think I've had a few ideas for you." she admits. "One was maybe the Genoshan royal crest that you mentioned." she states. "I also like the idea of something on your arm. I don't know, maybe we can get matching tattoos around our wrists or arms." she grins. "Will your healing make tattooing difficult?" she asks him.

"Yeah, they do. I did not want to go through this at this moment...but it is something I'll have to deal with either way." she tells him quietly. "And I'm happy to meet anyone that you trust, Pietro." she tells him.

Then she gives a bit of a curious look, "Pietro Maximoff, did you just admit to liking stillness in the world?" she asks him. "And thank you, the Winter season shall go into my notes." she grins at that.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
Pietro smiles at the touch. "I understand. I promise, scarring is not going to upset or disturb me. And I understand those insecurities. I spend my life constantly over-analyzing things, so it often leads to concerns about myself." A slight shrug. "A mind never at rest is not necessarily as healthy as some would have you think." A slight sigh. As she mentions the crest or matching ink, he grins. "I am open to either, should you find the right design." A shake of his head. "I will heal quickly, though not anything that should interrupt or marr a tattoo."

"We'll reach out to the people I know, and get you in contact with them." A smile. "I've had my share of conversations with a therapist or counselor, so... I will send you to someone I trust."

A chuckle. "It is stark. It is different. It is calm. I like calm, less contact with most people."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"Is there anything that helps with slowing down? Besides listening to me drone on about Halloween decoration?" Micola teases him gently. "I'll dive back into design creation tomorrow." she nods to him. "It'll give me things to focus on while I'm making lists on what projects need to be worked on first." she tells him. There is a gentle nod, "I just wanted to check so that it wouldn't be a problem." she states.

"Thank you. I know that people you work with can be trusted and that will help." she explains.

Then she's listening to him and there is a soft smile, "Okay, so Winter. Got it." she nods to him. "Do you have a favorite flower?" she asks him. These were a suspicious amount of questions!

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
A bright smile is offered over to Micola. "Listening to you is wonderful. It lets me keep my mind focused on you, and the things you speak on." A chuckle from Pietro. "It is not droning on, I assure you." The speedster explains. "I enjoy hearing things that you enjoy and are passionate of."

A nod. "You are very welcome, Micola."

"Oddly enough, violas." The man smiles. "I like the mix of colors." He eyes her.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola blushes again when he tells her he likes listening to her. "I was just joking a little." she grins at him. "I was thinking about doing some window boxes for plants since we have the big windows up here and plants would thrive. I wanted to add some that you'd like as well." she smiles to that.

"Nothing odd about Violas, they are a rather unloved flower. Most people say roses or other popular plants." she muses to that. "You know, if we get hardwood floors we can skate up here..." she gives him a look as she says that.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"Those would be lovely, I think. They brighten up the city. I honestly wish there were more of them." A slight shrug from Pietro. "Too many people overlook the opportunity in the city, though." He grins. "I think they would look very nice, and should thrive."

"Roses are pretty, but often overdone. I certainly do not mind them." A smile. He looks about the apartment with a chuckle. "Skating up here? Would there be enough room?" He snickers, looking back to her. "Hardwood is nice - though it should be real hardwood."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola gives him a soft smile, "Brightening things up is what I enjoy doing." she tells him with a dip of her head. She then gives a bit of a nod about the roses, "I think red roses are overdone, there are perfectly beautiful colors besides red." she chuckles.

She looks around, there was actually a lot of space given the building. "I mean...it was a bit of a wild idea. I got in trouble once for skating inside." she chuckles. "I'm sure we can get rugs and stuff for when Winter rolls around to sort of balance that out." she grins. "You want to go for a walk after dinner?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"Yes!" He agrees. "There are so many colors that roses can appear with. Red, well there are many traditions about roses stemming from the medieval times." Pietro grins. "It's hard to shake some things, especially when reinforced by consumerism." A chuckle.

"I will have to ask your mother about the skating indoors." He winks. "But I will not tattle on you, should you do so here." He gives a playful grin. "And yes, a walk would be lovely. Fresh air might help you out, too."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola grins when he agrees with her, "Yellow and purple roses are rather pretty. So are white." she grins. "I like Iris' but they are so hard to grow. I might take it up as a hobby if I buy some." she muses. "Yes, where knights were plucking up red roses and flinging them to damsels." she winks at him. "Valentine's Day is a prime example of all of that." she adds.

"Mhm, she'll tell you the exact story on it." she chuckles. "Oh you can tattle on me. I'm 28 and I don't live at home. There's no rules!" she giggles. "Okay there are some rules." she adds with a laugh. "If I get too tired I promise to let you know and we can head back, I promise." she tells him.
