A snack before work.

Synopsis:	Sam and Emma catch up, and prepare for possible trouble.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie is in the kitchen, and today he does not feel like cooking so is raiding the fridge for the dishes that are free ranged, not claimed by anyone. He has some pasta salad on one plate and has a tupperware container out opening it to see what is in it. With a sniff at it, he will pull some pot roast out and put on a second plate before putting the rest back in the fridge.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost is entering in over to the kitchen. She currently has a small tablet in one hand in front of her which was broadcasting a three dimensional image in front of it. Seemingly business affairs and the stock market, judging by the numbers and symbols going along it. Her other hand has a goblet of wine, "Samuel, I hope all is well with you."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over and nods to Emma. "As best as can be expected. He opens up a couple more containers and soon some veggies join the meat on the plate, and he looks over to Emma, "Need anything while Ah am in here?" he asks, before taking his plate to the microwave.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would shake her head, "No, the Club is having one of it's occasional social affairs this evening which I'm going to keep tabs on. There are a few mercenaries that are going to be present that aren't normally amongst the attendees."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods a bit and says "Yea, heard a bit about it, the department has a few extra guys on shift around the area just to be on the safe side." He tells her. He moves to put his food in to heat, pasta salad still on a different plate. He next pours himself some tea. I figured I would pick up a few hours and make sure things did not get to crazy for them. As he straightens up and turns to her, it can be seen he is in a NYC PD uniform.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod, "Yes, do have them be wary. The club when it has extra weapons on hand tends to ensure there's some extra protection around the area. I'm also sure that they'll have put some effort into influencing anyone deployed in the area."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Most of them are the normal beat cops, not sure how much influence they got there, but there are few of S.I. there and know that often a bit of oddness can be around the parties, more thinking odd guests than the club itself though"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod, "Oh.. I'm sure there will be a number of bribes being passed around. Perhaps some light telepathy or something of the nature. I'm sure that your deployments will be monitored and if need b e there will be some sort of distractions. I'm not saying that anything will remotely happen, is a threat, or you have to worry on your fellows."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "I know the club aint going to want to start anything with the department, much easier if they grease the right wheels than headbutt up against it." Once his food is ready he puts it all on one plate, and moves to sit at the bar with food and tea.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod at Sam, "Exactly. I just want to make sure that you're aware of the potential for things and take it into account if you fear somethign is going to happen."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Ah figure probably not a lot will get past the walls, seems to stay inside pretty well, unless they are butting heads with folks who live here." He admits. "Most of the force does not know Ah am a mutant, just my captain, so unless things get totally out of hand, Ah will just be Officer Guthrie."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod, "Oh yes, the Club always does quite a good job of handling itself. It won't escalat eto the point you have tow orry about. The local villains tend to be in their employ or paid off enough to let it slide. Also a great many are members."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Yea, had a invite tonight show up for Alexis, mail is still dropping off some of her and my mail at the old apartment." He admits. There is a bit of sadness in his voice but he hides most of it.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod, "So do you feel like you could go to it? I don't see there's any reason why you couldn't if you hvae one. It might let you get a better idea of what they're up to."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie shrugs a bit and says "Was for her, so not sure Ah could get in without her, plus as Ah said volunteered for the shifts around the place so need to be there for that.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod, "I'm sure that if you go as her plus one it would be all right. But ultimately what your preference is, Samuel. And ther'es no real need for it."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods his head, and does not add the part about not wanting to use the name of an Ex to get him into some place.. well maybe Layla's sometime, but thats different. He eats a bit and says "If you see an issue arising you have my phone number right?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod, "Of course. I'll likely contact you telepathically. Quicker and less likely to get notice. I'm sure as well that others will be present monitoring. Just as likely for the team and for others. You've heard about the new White Queen?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie shakes his head a bit and says "Na, Ah aint been keeping up to date with them to be honest, ah have been more keeping myself busy with work and training making sure I am ready for all my jobs.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod, "Very well. And a separate question, if I might of something that Tabitha mentioned that I haven't heard any specific reports on I was wondering if you might have some better answers to.."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks up to her, and raises a brow, but stops eating taking a sip of tea while he waits to see what the woman needs to ask him.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would gesture, "Tabitha mentioned something on Sentinels. There weren't any reports over in the team's archives. That seems rather pressing. So did some of your.. Associates happen to have something to do with it?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks to her, and says "Nothing Ah have been involved with at least not anytime recently." He tells her. Sam truly has been out of it for a while it seems. "You might talk to Jimmy, he may know something." He offers a possible lead

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod, "Thank you. I'm just trying to keep up to tabs on everything. It's appreciated." She would go to tap at her chin. "Is there anything else for the moment that you'd like to inquire on?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie shakes his head a bit and says "Nothing Ah can think of, if something comes up will make sure to get in contact with you."
