Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis Carr always felt quite odd returning from visiting her family overseas; first of all they used her real name. She didn't have to hide who she was over there, she didn't have to pretend she was someone else for the sake of her students' safety.

    But, Papa's health scare had been resolved. Her Zio didn't need to take over the business. Her stake as heir was resolved as her father was writen out of Papa and Nona's estate. So she had returned home, and after a run-around re-establishing that she was here and no longer distance-teaching her students, with in-person classes starting, she returned back to the home she and Sam had shared, taking off her shoes at the bottom of the stairs and making her way upwards.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie has been setting things back up for Alexis once he knew she was home, he has stopped with the last box of things to put out and on shelves. He considered letting her put things up, but figured she is back she will want stuff where she knows where it is, and can move it if she wants afterwards. So putting the last things on the shelf, and making sure the fridge is stocked he is now breaking down the boxes.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis comes up to the top of the stairs, and she pauses a moment, looking to Sam with a smile as she takes her jacket off, wearing a nice blouse and a gray skirt.

    "... thank you, Sam. It's good to see you." she gives a small smile, looking up to the tall Kentuckian mutant.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie offers her a smile and says "Well can't have ya coming back to an empty place now can Ah." He offers her. He is wearing his normal, but she may notice he has added a steel colored chain necklace to his normal attire. "I stopped by the farmers market and got ya some fresh veggies, figure Nona got ya used to them more than the canned things.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Well, it is summer in Italy, fresh herbs and vegetables on the table --" Alexis replies, feeling a bit awkward regarding their shared home.

    "If you want, I can take the second bedroom. This way you have a place to still call home in the city -- when you're not crashing through buildings." she gives a small smile to Sam, and rubs the back of her neck, her shoulders rising up.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie shakes his head and offers her a slightly forced smile, and says "Na, Ah pretty much got stuff set back up at the mansion, if Ah need a places here, and your ok with it, Ah may crash in the spare room, but your the one living here, you should have the main room.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis notices the forced smile, and she lowers her eyes a moment and gives a quiet 'I see'.

    She tapes her feet against the floor a moment.

    "... it would be too strange to sleep in the master bedroom without you there. But I couldn't ask you to wait until I found myself."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie will step over and put his hand on her shoulder, and says "You do what ya need to do, Ah aint seeing anyone right now, when your ready we can see where we both are." His voice shows he still cares and still loves her. "Ah am still friends with others Ah have dates we can make this work." He was never engaged to the others but he leaves that out "Just no starting a club, Ah don't want to see flyers, and surveys about Sam hero or zero or something." He jokes

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Well, there goes my weekend plans to start a club of Guthrie Ex Girlfriends." Alexis gives a playful roll of her eyes, and she draws in a breath -- and then just hugs on Sam.

    "Thank you... for everything, Sam."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie will step in giving her a hug brief but caring and says "Hey, Ah am sure the travel package would be great." He jokes and steps back. "Ah am working in the city a bit more so you may see me about, between Special Units and Zion Ah am around most of the week." He lets her know. "You going to the recital in Gotham tomorrow for ABC?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "I'll be in the wings helping the little ones sort themselves out. I'm very proud that Cassandra took the initiative and signed up for it... she's come such a long way..." she gives a wry smile as she releases Sam, and goes to help herself to a glass of water.

    "I'm thrilled to begin lessons in person again."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "She sent me an invite, Ah plan on being there, thought about bringing a camera and recording it before knew you would be back, not sure if it would freak her out to much if I bring one. If ends up you need my help back stage with something will keep my phone on vibrate so you can get ahold of me."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "WEll, luckily I'll be there, but should you record in the back so I could see how she does from the stage, that would be wonderful." Alexis gives a rueful smile, and she runs the water a moment longer, washing her hands.

    "Her legal guardian is apparently Bruce Wayne, in Gotham, you know."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hmms and whistles softly "He has some money, Wayne tech is in a whole heck of a lot of stuff, think some even in the stuff at school." HE admits. "You tell me where ya want to be and Ah'll be there." He shakes his head and says "Would not have guessed from the silent young lady who came in to the classroom.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis gives a small smile. "I had a sneaking suspicion, since she had a WayneTech credit card, but, you know how it goes. Sometimes people are surprising with their identities." Alexis gives a smile, and then she hops up to sit on the counter.

    "Papa and Nona and Zio send their regards, by the way, and reiterated that you are welcome to visit as a friend of the family at any time."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "Well, if Ah end up that way will have to stop in, did Nona try out the cornbread recipe Ah showed her while you were there?" He grins a bit and says "The pastries she taught me to make were a hit."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "She did; it's a step back from her polenta recipie, but she enjoyed it with a little sweet wine and honey." Alexis gives another smile. "I'm glad that the pastry recipie is getting traction. I never had the knack for working with the dough."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles a bit and says "She told me it was your favorite and would be a good way to get on your good side if Ah ever ticked ya off." He offers with a bit of a chuckle
