Reed Richards has posed:
A beautiful summer day, one far too nice to be cooped upin the lab at least that's what Sue and Herbie said. So, Reed finds himself working on a decent sized spacecraft of an odd design. Not cruiser or yacht, it may just be a tugboat? He has his head inside the rngine casing as you fly by and you can hear the sound of nerd cussing.

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol Danvers is flying overhead, having been up to space for some SWORD related business. But now she's just enjoying the beautiful day as she gradually makes her way back to the mansion.

Looking down at the city which is familiar to her from this angle, the top of Four Freedoms Plaza stands out to her. "What on Earth... or not on Earth, is Reed up to now?" she asks herself. Captain Marvel zooms down to the rooftop. She's not wearing the fully body suit which is actually a Kree uniform recolored, but has instead gone back to one of her older costumes from her Ms. Marvel days.

"Reed, you being invaded?" she calls out in a joking tone as she approaches within hearing distance.

Reed Richards has posed:
"Carol?! Carol is that you? Thank heaven! I seem to have gotten myself in a bit of a predicament." As you get closer you realize what's happened. While Reed has been working on the ship it rotated in the stasis field pinning the world's smartest man inside the engine compartment or at least his head and shoulders. "... I'm stuck and well the girls are out, Ben's on a walk about... I really have come to rely on him. Anyway, can you see what's keeping me inside? Wait, did you say invasion.

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol Danvers swoops down to land lightly on the rooftop next to Reed. "Relax, no invasions going on besides those of the eccentric inventor variety," she replies in her amused tone. She walks over to where Reed is stuck.

"You normally it's a washing machine or maybe under the sink," she comments, but not knowing if he's going to get that particular flavor of cultural reference.

She leans forward to look at the situation. "Looks like this strut has got you pinned," she says. She moves over to the console. "Which control adjusts the ship within the field? Don't want to crush you. Though I guess you'd just flatten briefly, at that."

Reed Richards has posed:
Old Man Richards sounds only a little salty when he says,"You know Sue doesn't let me work on the appliances after the cupcake incident... " There's an amused chickle and some wriggling noises, yes, confirmed that's the one. No crushing shouldn't be an issue. It's the third lever from the left, the purple one." The color palette of this control panel indicates Val and possibly a younger Val had a hand in designing. It is also a bit disconcerting when Reed's disembodied hand points at the lever. "Can't see make the adjustment myself, so, if you go slow I can let you know we're on the right track!"

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol checks out the panel and spots the purple lever. "Have I mentioned I'm color blind?" she asks, before adding, "Just kidding."

The woman looks over to Reed and then back to the panel. "Ok, moving it just a tiny amount," she says. She barely nudges the lever, and sees the ship rotate in the right direction. "That right?" she asks. When she gets an affirmative then, she rotates it enough that the elastic man can free himself from where it's snagged his body and clothing both.

Reed Richards has posed:
Old Man Richards sighs and extricates himself, "That was the longest 3 hours ever, it has been quite sometime since I was in a situation I couldn't squeeze my way out of, thank you.

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol grins as Reed gets himself out. "You can repay me by showing me around her when you get her finished," Carol comments while motioning with a thumb towards the ship.

"Maybe let Sue know and we can talk her into making some of that cobbler of hers?" Carol suggests as she lets her feet lift off the rooftop as she lifts up into the air. "Speaking of, been in space which always leaves me hungry. Think it's something to do with the lack of gravity in the stomach. Time to get home and eat," she says, giving a wave to Reed. "Give me a ring when you're done!" She zooms off into the sky again.
