Mika Yang has posed:
Another day, another job from her studio. Mika Yang sighs a bit as she finishes doing a location shoot in Gotham. A fair bit of time is being spent over in Gotham as her studio is trying to put a good spin on a bad situration. Mika getting attacked by Joker Gang in Gotham got online, and well, there was talk of how dangerious the area is. Enough that the studio almost wanted to pull her back to Japan.

Mika talked them out of it by convincing them of making donations to local actor guilds, studios, and charities. This was one such event where she was with a bunch of kids, teaching them first aid. It doesn't help that there's a full legion of bodyguards that seem to be nipping her heels every two seconds. Mika mutters as she goes inside her trailer for a break. "God!", she mutters as the woman flops on a temp cot.

After a few seconds the woman pulls out the batarang she got form Bat Girl the other week. She hsa been tempted to look into it, but school, and work always gets in the way. There's a knock on the door. "10 minutes Miss Yang before you're needed for the closing shots.", is yelled out. Mika sticks her tongue out at the door before she looks at the window in the back.

Mika slides the window open, and looks around. No guards! Yay! She hops out, and starts to make a quick beeline for a forested area in the park. Oh, they'll look for her soon enough, but for now, they think she's showering, and being a star means a few more minutes of showering before they figure it out. Mika smiles as she starts to walk the park alone, with the sun setting quickly behind her....

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
The Huntress wasn't in the park for any sort of event. Well, not in the entertainment sense. She was there tracking a drug dealer who ran from her. As the saying goes, if you give up, things tend to go more favorably than if they have to come and get you. Huntress is in a bad mood and she is going to get this guy. When she does? He'll be lucky to get out of the encounter without a crossbow bolt in his spleen.

The dealer had driven his car to the island, then ditched it and ran into the woods. Rolling up not far behind him Huntress growled. "... dammit. I am -so- going to break his legs.." Swinging off her bike, she began to stalk toward the woods, her cape billowing out behind her.

Mika Yang has posed:
Mika sucks in a deep breath as the park lights kick on. Oh, they're going to be looking for her soon. And knowing a few of the guards...they're going to look if she took her...toys with her. Which she did. The young woman touches her upper arm where she has her weighted chain secured around her shoulder and bicep, and then she touches down by her ankle, where she has a knife. Not a normal knife, but one that has a special trick to it. She nods her head as she moves into the darker area of the woods.

Its pretty soon when she hears rustling, and a guy yelling a bit. The young woman gets into a defensive stance as she watches the woods. Soon a guy comes running out. "Save me! She's going to shoot me!", he yells out as he runs towards Mika. Mika blinks a little bit.

"Bwah?", is all Mika can say as the guy almost tackles her. He pauses, looking at Mika a bit....

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress strides angrilly after the loud man through the woods, "Stop running Lyle. I can hear you. And hell yes I'm going to shoot you. Somewhere where it really freaking hurts. Because you made me come and get you. If you want a chance to go to jail before you bleed out, I suggest you stop running. Now."

Huntress emerges into the small clearing just in time to see him all but tackle the woman. Well crap.

She lifts her crossbow, "Step aay from her. You get the bright idea to use her as a shield and we're going to have -serious- issues. As will your knees" her tone turning even more threatening than it was.

Mika Yang has posed:
Mika just kinda blinks a few times as everything seems to move in slow motion. A masked woman with crossbow. Guy with a gun. Guy sliding behind her, and putting gun to the back of her head, and using her as a sheild. "Just back off, Huntress! You don't want her brains on your outfit!", Lyle yells out. Mika just kinda...blinks a little bit.

In probably the worse acting she could possibly do, Mika shakes her head a bit. "Oh dear! I'm just a young defenseless girl. Somebody...save me from the bad man...", she deadpans.

"SHUT UP!", Lyle yells at Mika. He pushes the gun tighter to her head. Mika rolls her eyes a little bit. She looks at Huntress a moment. "Question, do you know a girl in a bat symbol on her outfit?", she asks.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress has both of her crossbows in hand. She looks at the man with disgust. "You're pathetic. Not even this stunt is going to save you Lyle. By the way? I've never met man named Lyle that lived up to expectations. I don't really blame you. Your parents? Who the hell names their darling child /Lyle/.. I mean seriously. Talk about setting a kid up for mediocrity and failure." She's trying to get a reaction from him. He's been so easy to manipulate so far. Even if he hasn't actually listened to her instructions. That part was still in progress.

She looks to the girl, "I know at least two of them, yeah."

Mika Yang has posed:
Lyle blinks a little bit, and growls a little bit. "SHUT UP! Both of you! Do you want to die?", he yells in Mika's ear. Mika winces a little bit, and then wipes some spittle off her face. She touches her bicep, squeezing it a little. Her arm makes a few tiny circles. "I swear I'm gonna get away!", he continues.

Mika sucks in a deep breath for a moment, and the weighted chain slides down her arm, past her hand, down by her foot. It moves almost snake like, slithering down the arm. Mika takes a second. "Oh, good, then may I deal with this?", she ask Huntress. Lyle raises his arm to try to pistol whip Mika into shutting up. "I was thinking about what she said the other day.", Mika says before she twists her wrist to little to swing the weight. She then kicks the weight, and tilts her head so that the weight crashes right into Lyle's face. Mika catches the chain, and makes the weight swing low as she side steps. It hits Lyle...well, in Little Lyle.

The woman spins away from Lyle, and has the chain in a full spin now. She looks to be in complete control of the weapon. "I...thought I was going to miss the second target. Too small to really aim for."

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Helena Bertinelli watches, "Shut up Lyle. The girls are talking right now. We'll get back to you in a minute." It could be that Huntress recognizes that Mika is, at the least not a victim or that she is more likely a predator herself, given the cavalier attitude about the woman's safety. In truth, if Huntress thought the woman was in danger this would have all played out completely different.

As Lyle gets a weight to the face and then to the family jewels, Huntress doesn't even blink. "Ouch, Lyle. I think you made her angry. And she hasn't even chased you across half of Gotham while you ran away like a little bitch."

The caped vigilnte moves forward as Mika evades Lyle's grasp. "But you're lucky that she broke your nose and removed some teeth. I can't in good conscience shoot you now."

Lyle is trying to hold his nose as blood spurts from it, even as he rolls on the ground in agony, knees pulled to his chest. ".. y..you BI'TH! Yew broke by dose!"

Huntress pauses. "Who am I kidding." She takes aim and shoots Lyle in the thigh with one of her bolts. "A man can run with cracked nuts and a broken nose. He isn't going to go far with a bolt sticking out of his quad." It seems like a practical theory?

Looking to Mika, Huntress nods. "Nice work. Now. What was this about a woman with a bat symbol? And what was it she said to you?" A pause "Or is this not something meant for mixed company?" A glance of her brown eyes to Lyle as if she were weighing whether to knock him the hell out or not.

Mika Yang has posed:
Mika looks at Lyle for a moment. "You know that I'm a EMT? And you know who the worst people to piss off are? Medical professionals. You see, we know how to shut off pain, and what causes it.", she says looking at Lyle a moment. Maybe that gets a squeak. "Also, my father is a grand master in China, and my mother...Well, she's a movie actress, so not the best people to piss off by taking their daughter hostage.", she says. The woman keeps her distance, with the chain still at a spin.

"Also, they can still run. Endorphins kick in to ignore the pain. Adrenaline kicks in from the stress, making the muscles go beyond what they should be able to...", she says. The woman watches the man carefully. She gives the weight a quick spin before using her elbow to direct the weight into the guy's forehead a bit. "I just gave him a local for a minute.", she tells.

Mika pulls out Babs batarang. "She gave me this, and said there was a number encoded on it if I needed help. I was wondering if she needed some help? I...don't understand why people are doing...these things.", she says, motioning to the man. "Where was the honor? I mean, he...couldn't fight, but why try to hide behind somebody?", she asks.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress laughs. "Never try to bluff an EMT." She shrugs and watches as Mika stuns Lyle. It's almost comical how his eyes roll around in his head.

"I know whose that is, yes. She's a good friend of mine and teammate. I'm The Huntress." Not to be confused with the "other" Huntress. But it wasn't worth getting into that in the moment.

"We're always looking for new and exceptional talent." She regards Mika, "You can defend yourself. You didn't panic when he had the gun to your head. And if you're an EMT, that's pretty much the trifecta of value added services."

She shrugs then, "He's a drug dealer. A very careless and greedy one. He's only after money. Who he hurts with bad product or by bankrupting them through jacking his prices to extort them out of money they need to survive, he really doesn't care. It's why I don't feel bad about any of what ol' Lyle has gone through tonight. He hid behind you because under it all, he's a coward."

Mika Yang has posed:
"I...see. Shame I did not take acupuncture this semster...", she says. The woman looks at Lyle. Mika shakes her head a little bit as she takes a deep breath, and lets it out. She slows the spin down, and then lifts up her sleeve. She starts to wrap the chain around her bicep once more, letting the weight catch before lowering her sleeve. If one didn't know she had the chain, its almost completely hidden. And its just tight enough that it doesn't rattle.

"Mika Yang. I don't exactly have a costume or anything. Heck, my best skill is cooking. Beating people up is a close second. Fixing them up afterwards...I'm working on that.", she gives a small bow.

Mika takes looks the guy over, and does make sure the bolt didn't hit any vessels. "The other didn't really give a name. Just the shuriken. So, Huntress, what happends to him now?", she asks. There is a little concern there. "I mean, medically speaking, he is injuried, and I should...treat him, but well...What are you going to do?", she says.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress steps over and nods, offering her gloved hand, "Nice to meet you Mika. You've got some skill. I have a feeling someone may be in touch with you. Can't promise who or when. But you'll know." She offers a nod and a smile.

"Lyle? Oh, he's going to be picked up by GCPD. They're already on their way plus an ambulance. No need for you to stick around. Answering questions tends to get a bit... messy. The Boys in Blue don't always look kindly on us doing their jobs for them. I'll hang out with Lyle till they get close. If you have somewhere more enjoyable to be, this would be the best time to head there."

Mika Yang has posed:
"Some place to be, yes. Some place enjoyable...not so much. I guess break's over.", she says shaking Helena's hand. The woman hears the sirens, and then there's the telltale lights of a search party. There's several large people heading in the direction. Mika takes off running away from the scene, heading towards a more lighted area. "MISS YANG! You were sopposed to report for the closing shoots 10 minutes ago! We are on a tight schedule!"

"Barney! Over here by the water fountain! I lost track of time when I stepped out for some air and water!", she calls out, leading her little group of bodyguards away from Helena and Lyle. "I'm sorry! I really am! And I'm a bit lost as well. Which way to the shoot?", she calls out.

The group with Barney doesn't notice Lyle or Helena as Mika called their attention away. "Miss Yang, we have repeated told you not to go off on your own in Gotham. This area does not guarentee your safety. You need to have an escort with you at all times!" is barked out. Mika just gives a small giggle. "I'm sorry. Just can you get somebody a little younger and cuter then butch bulldog brigade?", she airheads. There's a number of groans, and mumblings about actresses that seem to move further and further away.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress watches Mika leave with a half smirk on her features, "She's got the attitude.." She looks back to Lyle, "Well, handsome" she mocks, "Let's get you trussed up for your date with lockup, hmm?" She pulls a zip tie from a pouch and secures the unconscious man's wrists behind his back.

As she finishes, GCPD pulls up within fifty yards of their location. She sighs, "Come get him boys." She lets out a sharp whistle to get the officer's attention and then she fades into the growing darkness, leaving Lyle to their more tender mercies.

Soon the sound of her bike echoes through the area as she speeds off and puts some distance between herself and the scene.
