Phoebe Beacon has posed:
ROUTE 11 - NORTH OF METROPOLIS

Two Days Ago: A pair of livestreamers went into the Firebird Tunnel, whose legend says that a man and a woman stalled out in their Pontiac Firebird in the early 80's, and were killed when an oncoming train struck them, wedging the car in the tunnel. Supposedly the live streamers found the scratches on the inside from the car, and were talking about the legend and what was *probably* behind the supposed haunting when their connection went dead, and the two disappeared with the sounds of a roaring train and the screams of a woman.

Cody Williams and Rex Jones never made it home, nor can their phones be traced to anywhere but this tunnel. The far side was bricked up long ago, but there's still almost 500 feet of tunnel between the open end off Old Route 11 -- now closed and inaccessable to cars, but motorcycles don't seem to have much trouble.

Phoebe Beacon sits against her own motorcycle, wearing her high lace-up boots over jeans and a black shirt, backpack on her back and the red-and-white sighthound Idu at her side. She is watching the way a rose quartz pendelum moves with growing concern, waiting to see who shows up for her open invitation.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson rides up on her own bike, a sleek Japanese model modified for her personal use. black and blue as a shiny fresh bruise. The eyepatched girl dismounts and approaches Balm, twin katana crisscrossed on her back.

"Figure you can handle anything ghosty," she says. "But if it bleeds, I can kill it," she says. Was that a joke? She might have even winked, but it would be impossible to tell.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp comes walking up from the shadows, he may not be Batman, but he is short and dark colored so many over look him. The first sign of him is the smell of his cigar, and the glowing red fire at the end when he takes a puff. How he got here who knows, but he is walking up towards the couple, and smirks a bit "Yup, thought you were the type to try to help folks." He looks to the dog "Hey Idu." He greets.

Daniel Ketch has posed:
A road haunting? A motorcycle run? It is pretty much a case written for the Ghost Rider. Daniel does his share of riding aimlessly around (although not as much as Johnny). He has a motorcycle that never runs out of fuel and in his opinion it is a better way of brooding than Gotham rooftops.

So yes, of course he came to the invitation. Just in time to see an ape talking. It is never boring when Phoebe is around, it is? "Er... hello, good to meet you," he offers, looking slightly bemused.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
Phoebe looks to Rose, and she gives a sidelong smile, giving a nod to the other Outsider in welcome. Idu happily sits and wags his tail, hoping for scritches and treats.

When the Ape makes his way out of the shadows, with the puff of a cigar, she gives another nod to him and raises her hands, bringing her pendelum into her gloved left hand.

-Detective Chimp.- Phoebe signs with a little smile on her face, looking to the Simian before she turns to the rumbling of the oncoming motorcycle, and her face seems to light up. She hasn't seen any of the Ghost Riders since she returned, after all.

She gives a wave, and then points to her throat, makes a slashing motion, and gives a shrug as an explaination of her current ailment and silence, but she gives Daniel a toothy smile.

She brings her left fingers to her temple, and with a mouthed spell in Latin, there would be a 'broadcast' of her voice (unless powers would otherwise prevent it!).

<Ravager, Detective Chimp, Dan. Good to see you all.> she greets everyone in turn, and then rubs the back of her head.

<Thank you for coming. I suspect this is another case of a shift in reality; a side-step if you will. The two teenagers who disappeared two days ago might still be alive, but we should act quick. There's probably going to be some fighting.> she explains.

Idu, meanwhile, is happily greeting Chimp with the best buttwags, because who else is able to talk to the exciteable young pup?

<Any questions before we go into this?>

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson takes a long, deadpan stare at the arriving ape. Yeah, yeah, guy on a motorcycle, big deal, whatever. There's a chimp there. With a cigar. Rose reaches to her belt and draws out a pack of American Spirits, lipping a filter and drawing out her coffin nail before she lights it.

"Fuck me with a chainsaw. I don't even wanna know," she says, taking a long drag. "Lead the way," she says, reaching back and drawing her swords, cigarette shifted to the corner of her mouth, "You got any idea at all what we're dealing with here?"

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will walk on over, he does lay a hand on Idu's back and gives a little scritching as he says "Dumb kids, getting themselves in trouble by being dumb kids." He comments about the missing kids "But we should find them and get them back and make sure no more go missing, no feeding the monsters after all.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
One last motorcycle cruises on up. It was a motorcycle, right? The chunky, retro look of the Honda Trail that carries Gabby up could easily make one wonder. It was her-sized though, good for carrying gear if needed, and could handle streets as well as off-road. Plus it was a present. What wasn't there to love about the little red Honda?

The throttle is cut and it's left to lean on it's own as she dismounts and pauses only to take her Rebel Fighter painted helmet off. A bag is slung over her back which she reaches back to unzip the top of as she approaches the others. "Hey!" She greets everyone only to pause. "Uh, codenames or regular?" Given she knew everyone here other than Detective Chimp it was only fair to ask.

From the bag on her back a little porcelain-white face pops up. Long black hair falls around the doll-like face of what appears to be an actual honest to god Japanese doll. Thumbing over her shoulder she states, "This is Hanako-chan. I figure if there's any ghosties she could help us point them out. Her English isn't great though," she warns.

Daniel Ketch has posed:
Daniel glances at Rose for a few seconds when she speaks. Then back to Phoebe, grimacing as she half-explains the loss of her voice. "Something that hunts in lonely roads, places where it can feed without being bothered," he half-smirks at Phoebe. "Maybe alive, but after two days it might best to be dead."

He doesn't look at the Chimp, though, instead glancing at Gabby's approach. But he has to add, "kids should have a chance to be dumb without dying, or turning into monsters." It did hit close home.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
<Careful what you wish for. This shit's going unpredictable.> Phoebe replies to Rose, <Those unfiltered?> she asks, and she holds her hand out to bum one. Tobacco's got a purifying effect, okay? She gives a wry look

<Luckily I speak fluent Japanese. Konbawa Hanako-chan.> Phoebe gives a nod to the doll. Idu, however, seems somewhat unnerved by the doll, dancing sideways a little bit as he looks to Detective Chimp, and then back to the doll on Gabby's back. <I would go with code names, HB. Only because trying to figure out everyone might be confusing otherwise.> she gives a wry smile, and then glances to Daniel, and gives a nod. <Yeah. Sometimes the stupid kids don't have bigger monsters looking over their shoulder.> she states, and she goes to step into the tunnel, accepting a cigarette from Rose, and digging into her pocket she takes out a red bic, and lights it. Stressful enough.

<So. Here's the plan. They were approximately two hundred feet into a five hundred foot tunnel when they disappeared. They heard the sound of a woman screaming. Now, here's the deal. This urban legend? Didn't happen. There's no record of a car being wrecked in this tunnel by an oncoming train in the eighties. So whatever's pulling it...> she thinks, and then she's very quiet. Her hand rolls, as if she keeps talking with her broadcast as she walks on into the darkness, and she even creates a little ball of magic to hang in the air, illuminating the tunnel around her.

Odd though that her broadcast ended, isn't it?

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson extends the requested cigarette to Phoebe. She doesn't really care about the purpose. Rose certainly wants her share of nicotine to help her cope with the world. When Gabby arrives and presents the doll, she just shakes her head, "We're like the set-up to a joke. A chimp, an assassin and a doll walk into a tunnel..."

"Yeah. I'm Ravager, by the way, if you don't know me. I kill shit."

When they step into the darkness, she puts away one of her swords and draws a semi-auto from a strap on her back, activating the laser sight and letting it start to pierce into the shadows.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods a bit and will look to the others "Detective Chimp." He looks to the doll and greets it in Japanese. He looks over to Danny, "Oh kids should be able to be dumb, maybe get their hand burnt to teach them a lesson but not eaten. " He offers in explanation "The urban legend is a rather popular one, all about places with tunnels." He adds, his brow does raise a bit at the cut off of Phoebe's speach "All ok kid?" He asks.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney frowns a little bit at the exchange of cigarette. "Balm..." she states in the tone of voice that the other would have taken with her in the past for having bad habits. Though for now she doesn't say anything more. It really wasn't her decision after all.

Doll aside she reaches down to run fingers over the heavy belt she wore which was rather reminiscent of something a certain Bat, or Robins, might wear. Given some of her suit was designed by Tim it only made sense that a belt was added. It did come in handy, though Ravager isn't the only one with a gun there. And a thigh-strapped knife in Gabby's case. Though she did have her own weapons in a pinch. "Honey Badger, or HB," she offers to those who might not know her moniker.

Hanako the doll lifts a little hand out of the bag to give a wave to those that greet her, responding in kind. << Hello! I hope to be of help. Promised icecream after.>> She liked this new treat, icecream.

While Phoebe walks, Gabby's listening, tipping her head to examine the walls of the tunnel thoughtfully as she heads in after Phoebe. Only to pause when the broadcast falters. "Uh. I think we found the proverbial dead spot --Okay the phrasing there is bad, but my point stands."

Daniel Ketch has posed:
"It is a trap," murmurs Daniel to complete Phoebe's sentence. Because it usually is when he comes to this kind of place. Still, there are two kids that maybe need a rescuing, and most probably need an avenging.

"Daniel Ketch," he responds to the introductions. "I... uh, have a partner... who burns guilty people. Try to look not guilty of anything if he shows up."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
Phoebe had given Gabby a 'shush' look, with a wry smile at the admonishment, and then a soft <Don't tell Red> to the side.

The healer pauses, her expression turning to Daniel to add a 'really' expression, and then she turns back, and drops her pendelum again. The rose-quartz and rose gold bauble swings, then stills at an angle that gravity shouldn't be letting it chill at.

Phoebe breathes out, and looks around, giving a small nod as she looks around. SOmething was up. Something wasn't going to be a whole lot of fun.

Idu stays close to his guardianship, his blue eyes either glowing in the dark -- or more likely reflecting the light cast by Phoebe's floating little light.

And then everyone may hear it, the slow, dull roar. The shaking, rumbling of a train, but not just any train.

This is one of those 'Iron Horses', the big steam engines that used to haul ass across the landscape. It gives the scream of its whistle, its dull light appearing beyond them.

And with the rushing sound, behind them a woman screaming, unintelligable.

Phoebe nearly swallows her cigarette as she balks, and then grabs up Idu (who yelps) and goes to press herself to the side of the tunnel!

AND THEN FALLS THROUGH IT! Idu yodels faintly from the other side.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson is prepared for some sort of creature or monster to leap out of the shadows at any minute, fully prepared to pump the thing full of lead. "If you burn me, pal, you're gonna get burned back," she says, only to have the sudden arrival of the train noise filling the tunnel.

She follows Phoebe's lead on instinct, moving towards the side of the tunnel and, most likely, passing through the same portal that seems to have taken her...

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will take a moment longer than the others, but luckily he is not Winston from Ghost busters, he is not going to get run over by the train. He moves to the side as well, but as he does he is looking back to see if he can see where the scream is coming from.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
That noise. It was loud by itself, moreso when in a tunnel. The echoing scream of an old steam engine mingled with the terrified shrieks of a woman causes her to clap her hands over her ears nearly doubling over as it splits through her senses. It didn't hurt physically but it still ... ached. I some hard way to describe.

Seeing the others throw themselves over, hearing Hanako speaking saying SOMETHING she couldn't make out through the noise, she bolsters herself with a clench of her jaws. And though she doubts an actual train is coming she had seen them disapear through the wall. So she gestures at Danny before leaping that way herself.

Daniel Ketch has posed:
Okay, it is not a trap, it is a train!

And his partner is pushing, because the Ghost Rider is pushy and screams tends to wake him up. "Not now," and then "Phoebe!" Just vanished. Illusion wall or what? Dan stumbles to follow. The stumbling caused because he needs to keep the Ghost Rider out of it. There is still a chance to solve the situation without setting it on fire. Right?

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
Rose, Chimp, Gabby and Dan all follow suit, through the stone tunnel portal and sideways into the woods. There is a happily burbling brook -- that happens to be blood red. The trees around them were yellow and parched. The birds flitting above them were a ghostly blue, and pale violet butterflies flit over black flowers. In the distance, there is the sound of someone hoarsely crying out "Help! HELP! I heard the train! Help us!" plaintively.

Idu's yodeling bark can be heard in the same direction.

There's still a good chance that not everything needs to be set on fire, but there is definitely a bad feeling in this yellow wood. Something that sets hair on end, and makes that little lizard part of a human's brain go on alert.

    You're being watched.

        And Possibly Hunted.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson spits out her cigarette, mashing it beneath her boot as she takes a look around the place. This definitely isn't good. This kind of extradimensional superhero shit was certainly not Rose's bag.

"Somebody look around and see if we landed on a witch," she says, even as she tries to make out the direction from which the cries for help were coming. "That's probably another trap. But we're gonna go to it anyway, aren't we?"

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks around as well, he is still smoking his cigar, and he runs through the different realms he has read about to see if this matches one of them. He scans the area and says "Seems Idu, and the young lady have already headed that way so we should probably follow." He admits. He does step close to one of the trees examining it a moment but not touching it.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney had landed in a little crouch with handsd outstretched to help catch herself. One never knew what terrain you were about to leap in on when jumping at walls. Lifting her head she gives a quick look around thoughtfully, along with a sniff. "This isn't platform 9 3/4, that's for sure. Anyone got any ideas other than walking into the obvious trap?"

Hanako for her part pokes her head out of the bag again to remark in broken English. "Someting follow."

Daniel Ketch has posed:
"Yep," Daniel stands up slowly, looking at the not-very-idyllic forest. Another trap for sure. Also, "what's this? One of those crappy pocket dimensions? Or an illusion?" He asks the experts. Which means: most everyone else but him.

Also, he left his shotgun in the motorcycle, because he thought they would be riding through the tunnel. "You okay if I let 'him' out?" He asks Phoebe. "He is insistent, and maybe this place needs burning."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
The tree opens an eye, and lazily looks to Detective Chimp before shuddering, dropping all its leaves, and getting up, pulling its roots cartoonishly out of the ground to go walking off, across the stream.

The ground gives a shudder then.

Twist and weave, twist and weave, no tricks no traps are up my sleave, you only exit by my leave, twist and weave, twist and weave~. A dry voice sing-songs, and as the grouping comes up to where Phoebe stands, silently, crouched at the edge of a ravine, they may see why.

They're not Bees, but they act like them.

Each easily the size of a six-year-old human, flitting about a massive hive. They have the forelegs of praying mantids, and large eyes and mandables like an ant, the rest of their body is chitinous instead of fuzzy, and ends in a stinger the size of a thumb.

And in the middle of it, the Queen, massive compared even to each of the insects, apparently the one with the dry voice. Her long end curls, depositing eggs in a basket.

Phoebe signs to Daniel: -Might have to. Not demon but is Dark.-

Hanako might pick up on the darkness of the creature herself; it's definitely not friendly.

And then, a trio of larger bugs swing down from the yellow trees -- coming directly to try and catch Daniel, Gabby and Phoebe!

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson raises her gun to aim at the incoming insects, "I hate this fairy tale bullshit so fucking much," she says.

She starts to fire off rounds, short bursts to both murder and repel, the BRAAAAP sound of her gun rolling in the topsy turvy world around them. She keeps her sword in her other hand, prepared to use it to fend, dice and slice if anything gets too close.

"Want me to headshot the Queen?" she asks casually, "Or is that gonna trigger the next Boss Battle?"

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp really did not expect the tree to run off, that got him for a moment, but then the bugs are on them, and going for a couple of them. He will look around a bit more seeing if there is any sign of the kids or Idu. He will sniff at the air, seeing if he can tell which way the dog is any any other humans

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Hanako chatters in Gabby's ear warning of the danger of the bug queen that soon makes herself known. The pair stop to stare, and with a little squeal of apparent disgust Hanako dips back into the backpack away from the sight of the bug things coming their direction.

Gabby for her part flicks her claws out adding their moonlit glow to the lighting in the area as she prepares for... "Wait, what'd she say?" Surely it wouldn't be that simple. But why not? She'd already gotten use of Labrynth recently to handle a different situation.

"Your Majesty, may we leave?" She calls out in a friendly tone even as she braces for the bugs coming for them. For now rather than attack she does just what the little rhyme had said--she twists out of range and hops over a rock that she wasn't sure might not be animate itself in some way.

Daniel Ketch has posed:
Daniel curses quietly as the trees start moving and someone starts sing-songing some creepy tune. Oh, right, it is the giant insect. "I suppose diplomacy is not going to work on that thing," and Rose is shooting already, anyway.

So, Daniel starts burning. Very quickly, the flesh vanishing like wax to leave behind a skeleton that is too large to have been Daniel's. Clad in leather, chains and metal spikes. The wasp that was about to attack Daniel gets swatted away as if it was a bug. "You," the flaming skeleton points at the bee queen, addressing her with a hollow voice. "You should not have come to this place. You shall pay for your transgression."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
Phoebe looks at Rose with a very distressed expression as she begins to fire off the rounds, she raises her hand and was about to stop before she gives a gasp, unable to scream, and is picked up by a small pony-sized manibee!

She kicks her feet a little bit as she's moved from the ravine's side and over the massive hive -- not good!

Luckily, she can see her dog from here, who is being wrapped up in some wax, along side the crying teenagers who were taken a few days ago!

She points down at them frantically to the others.

Daniel is not pulled up by the bug thing. No, it looks rather put off by the fact that Daniel bursts into flames, and it retraces its steps -- err, flightpath, looking towards the queen with concern as the gunshots ring out. A couple of the smaller drones die off, flicking down into the hive itself, and the Queen turns to regard Gabby's request, and the sudden appearance of The Ghost Rider.

"A QUEEN must do what it must to protect her hive! Destroy the interlopers -- except the polite one. Bind her into the hive and turn her into one of my children! her dry voice rings out.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson continues to swear pretty much continually. Phoebe didn't give her the thumbs up on Queen assassination, but she's also just been scooped up by giant devil bees and so Rose is willing to overlook the lack of a direct kill order.

"Somebody rescue Balm and those idiots before that thing lays eggs in her," she shouts.

She darts ahead, starting to aim herself specifically towards the queen as she reloads her weapon, jacking in a new clip and aiming it at the bigger target, "Hey, Rupaul! Come get some!!!" she shouts as she opens fire again.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will look to Gabby and Danny, "You guys get Phoebe, I will check to see what she is point at." and with that he is off, running on all fours at times, as he makes his way towards the kids and the dog. He is watching to see what the bees seeing if any are coming towards him, or ignoring him as just another animal.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
"Ah, I'm afraid I can't allow that, Your Majesty," Gabby retorts once it's issued that she become part of the hive. If Deadpool were here he'd be quipping about how she was a bug queen at one point, too, but as it stands she just thinks on the fly. Leaning her head back she hisses to Hanako, "Pop your head out when I say!"

Her throat clears and she booms in her most imperious voice--Which is to say she picks up as much of a faux British accent as she can. "For you see, I, too, am a Queen!" Her elbow kicks back against her bag and Hanako pops her head out in all her little girl/baby looking glory. See she's got a kid too. Kind of.

With that distraction given she runs toward the hive with claws drawn. Any poor ... bees? that get in the way get a good slicing.

Daniel Ketch has posed:
No Danny here, just an angry Ghost Rider that is out to burn the soul (or whatever passes for) of a giant insect queen. Those smaller bees that stand in his way get a facefull of hellfire, delivered by breathing it on them. "You have no authority here!" He announces. "Release your captives and accept your judgement. I am the Spirit of Vengeance!"

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
"DESTROY THE FLAMING ONE?!" the queen commands, and then the Ghost Rider is given a cadre of beemids to contend with as the queen's wings splay out, and she draws herself up to her full fifteen foot height.

She gives a buzzing, angry command, and the bees tending to the two teenagers work *faster*. Idu gives a whimper as his mouth is muzzled with wax. The two teenagers are struggling to get out of their beeswax prision, and as Rose gets a new vantage point, the queen pauses -- turns, her mandables opening wide -- and the shots peirce through her chitinous shell!

The screaming matches that of the woman in the tunnel, a keening sound. Symphonics key in to the 'come to me' parts of lizard and insect brains, and the bees carrying Phoebe bring the mage *even faster* to the Queen?!

Anyone who is familiar enough can imagine the litany of curse words that's running through her head, until she brings her hands up, and focuses.

The bee carrying her gets flambe'd, and she begins dropping through the air!

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson feels a certain amount of satisfaction as her bullets strike true, finally putting the Queen back on her...feelers? Wings? She definitely didn't have heels.

"Just die already!" she shouts, continuing to fire with rapid bursts of automatic weaponry, until she sees Phoebe start to tumble from the sky.

"Oh shit," she mutters and impulsively throws down her weapons and breaks into a sprint to try to break the magic girl's fall.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will get down to where the kids and Idu are and holding onto the hive with one foot, he starts using his hands and other foot to try to rip the wax away specially around idu who can't do as much for himself as the kids. He then takes a deep puff of his cigar and starts blowing the smoke at the beers, trying to puff his cigar more and more making as much smoke as he can.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney uses the distraction of the Queen being attacked to close the distance to the hive with several quick leaps in that direction. Her goal is to get to those being waxed in. Poor Idu especially, though the kids that had been kept there were also on the list for being freed. "Get Idu," she states to Detective Chimp, "I'll work on the guys!" With careful but quick swipes of her claws she hacks through the waxy substance throwing chunks of it aside as she works pausing only to slice open the beemid things that might get too close.

Daniel Ketch has posed:
The Ghost Rider is getting swarmed and he really... doesn't seem to mind too much. He punches a bee-critter, and the chains around his torso seem to come alive, sliding into his gloved hangs to whirl around him in an unnatural, razor shapes.

Many bees are getting burn, cut and burned. He is not killing them, however. Which is possibly slowing his advance some. Also, getting stinged, although regular toxins don't bother someone that is little more than flames around a skeleton.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
The Manbees are now flying beers, you heard it here first.

The queen screams and it's trying to take off, though she's so bloated she might not be able to make it! Some of her outer shell has collapsed in thanks to Rose's handiwork, and she turns her eyes, glowing with rage, to the Ghost Rider as he makes his approach.

The two teenagers gasp out as they're helped from their sweet and sticky prison, waxy and covered with bee-spit-that-is-not-quite-honey-not-quite-silk, they don't look to be in horrible shape.

"Ohmigod. Please tell me you're real!" one gasps out.

Idu is freed, rolling himself out and shaking off honey and flicks of wax everywhere, and begins to bark his head off in alarm in that yodeling call he has, looking to Phoebe as she falls.

The stingers don't seem to bother the skeleton, the bees keep coming, and The Ghost Rider continues his Terminator-like walk to the Queen, who towers over him.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson would feel great satisfaction about all that screaming and stuff, but she's in the middle of trying a Looney Tunes rescue and getting herself under Phoebe before the other girl hits the ground. Her rescue style isn't exactly graceful and odds are good that she'll get crunched underneath in a rather violent fashion, but better thaat than her frie---TEAMMATE -- wind up dead.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will pocket some of the bee honey/spit goo, he has a friend who he can give it to as an apology. He then looks to the kids and Gabby "Ok, we need to get them back to where we came in, see if we can get them out of here." He offers and once all are free he looks about to see if they have missed anything or anyone

Daniel Ketch has posed:
The towering of the Queen would be more impressive if she didn't have so many bullet holes already. Flying away might be the right strategy right now, but the Ghost Rider is not going to let her go easily.

Instead he throws his chain up, aiming to wrap it around the Queen's head and neck, and pull down. So many multifaceted eyes make a big target for the Penance Stare.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney nods in agreement as she reaches out to grasp the arm of one of the boys. "Yeahm, we're real. Come on, we need to get you out of here," she urges with a tip of her head in the general direction they'd come from. "No time to waste, come on!" And if they don't move fast enough, she'll push them forward taking up the position at the rear so that she can defend if necessary. So far though it seemed as if the Ghost Rider, Ravager and others were doing a good job of distracting them.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
The boys and Idu, Gabby and the Ape are on the move, up and out of the ravine. They don't appear to have missed anyone.

Between Rose's bullets and the Ghost Rider's chains, the Queen has nowhere to go. She's pulled down into the Stare, and unlike a Care Bear that's not Fair this Stare is one that should cause her to Beware, curls the Hair, heats the Air, and in fact drives the Queen to scream in such a way that's mean and she begins to burn from the inside, out, the keening call she was giving curgling into ichor from the liquid inside of her chitinous body.

Rose makes it, just in time, Phoebe landing on her backside, on Rose, and pushing Rose into the honey and wax from the Manibees.

She flails a moment, gasping, and goes to make sure Rose wasn't killed by sudden Phoe-butt. That would be a horrible way to go, and not something she wants to report back to Red Robin.

Rose Wilson has posed:
There's an audible snap as Phoebe lands on Rose and the assassin girl feels her shoulder dislocate and acouple of her ribs snap. Definitely hurts like hell, but nothing she can't handle. Still, she spits up a little blood for a second as she lays there.

"You owe me tacos," she manages to say through the pain.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will wait to give anyone a hand out of the ravine that needs it. He is pretty good at the whole climbing thing, I would wonder why. "Come on ladys, I don't think we want to be around long after she dies if she was making this place."

Gabby Kinney has posed:
"He's got a point," Gabby calls back toward the fallen pair with a sympathetic wince seeing the tangled tumble they've ended up in. "This place might begin to destabilize... Though where'd the train and screaming come from? What's that got to do with BEES?" Sorta bees. Whatever they were. Either way she was fully intending to get the heck out of dodge.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
<Pick a place and we're going.> Phoebe replies to Rose, able again to broadcast as she goes to help the assassin out of the muck. She narrows her eyes a moment <I can heal you faster than you heal yourself, but we've got to RUN. GHOSTRIDER. This place is destabilizing! We've got to -->

And with a sudden POP sound, like a bubble bursting in a cartoon, Chimp, the boys, Idu and Gabby are up by the motorcycles. Ghost Rider is burning in the middle of a charred bit of glade. Rose would find herself ankle-deep in some mud at the bank of the babbling brook, and Phoebe is Glowing a pale goldish color, before it fades.

And her knees buckle a moment as she grabs a branch to steady herself.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson shakes out her snowy white hair, her ponytail having come out in all the commotion, "It's going to be expensive. And I'm getting queso. The big one," she says. "Don't waste your energy healing me. I've had worse," she says, blood on her chin as she pushes up to stand and starts to break inot a run with Phoebe.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks about and checks to see if the kids are ok "Ok, you guys are back home, we can get you back to your houses." He offers to them. He does check to see if the honey goo is still there.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney pauses once out to pick off some bits of goo and... she wasn't really sure that was honey. Or what it was. The 'hive' wasn't exactly bee based only, as it was more an almalgam of all sorts of buggy grossness. "Good thing Mercy wasn't here," she mutters to herself shaking more of it off.

"Just a suggestion but let's burn this bitch down when we leave."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
<It's gone, Gabby. We're back in our world.> Phoebe 'thinks' to the group. She pats herself down a moment, and removes a pack of cigarettes from her jacket, peels it open and offers one to Rose. She looks at Rose with exhausted brown eyes, both of them covered in grossness from the mud, the bees and the hive, and she asks <Was it as bad for you as it was for me?>

"Ohmigod. OHMIGOD. Those things were *real* THEY WERE REAL and we lost our PHONES we could have been FAMOUS!" one of the teenagers is crying out, and he kicks a rock. The rock was embedded pretty hard into the ground, and so as he kicks it, there's a crack, and he howls in pain, flopping backwards onto the ground.

The other one has a thousand yard stare. Honey -- or its Manidbee approximate -- drips from his cheek.

"I can never eat honey grahams again." he states in a forlorn sort of voice.
