Colborn has posed:
It's not like Colborn sleeps normal hours. He tends to work until he is tired, and then rests until no longer tired. It's also not like he has a regular crowd that shops at The Forge. Most of his customers hire him for custom work.

At the moment, he is between clients. That gives him time to work on his own personal project. The billet of steel has been drawn out after the energy transmission filaments were worked in and throughout the metal. It took weeks of careul and slow work to get them threaded throughout without having a break in the material. But it helps when you can cheat and manipulate the metal on a molecular level.

The slow moving difficult part is finished, and now he's working a hammer by hand and banging the material to lengthen it and shape the blade of the sword he intends to use himself should the need arise. It's also a personal masterpiece... forged because... well because he can.

Cinque Evers has posed:
Not since Quinn had to pick up White Castle for the rest of the Impractical Jokers has someone had to crisscross New York City in such a short period of time; however, this the situation Cinque has found himself in the last 7 hours. He was doing survillance in Staten Island, then had to travel to Hrooklyn for a quick drug bust, then back to Bronx to change into his civilian clothes.

He spends a couple of hours making sure that all the prework is done for breakfastat the shelter, and all the morning assignments are posted for his staff. After he finishes all of his morning work for his shelter, he gets on the first subway from the Bronx to Queens. By the time, he is getting on the second Bronx subway, Cinque is barely awake. A quick power nap on the second subway refreshes Cinque enough for the task at hand which is getting stores and shops to volunteer their services to his shelter. Cinque spends the rest of the morning strking out with the various owners, but he is still optimistic by the time he arrives at Colburn's forge.

Cinque walks over to the counter and asks "Can I speak to the owner?"

Colborn has posed:
If one were not 'in the know' about forging and about -this- forge specifically, it would easily be understood why someone might think they were hearing a power-hammer working the metal in the back room. In reality, it's Colborn strong arms. And by strong, that's several tons of force per impact with the specially made hammer. So in effect, he is his own power-hammer.

But those impacts are regular and thrumming and can be felt through the soles of ones' shoes in the floor. But when a voice speaks up out front, there are two more slams, and then it ends.

"I'll be right out." comes a slightly Germanic / Nordic sounding accent from the back. Water runs for just a few moments as he washes and rinses his hands off. People don't like to shake hands when his are covered in black soot and other debris. So he makes a habit of washing them whenever he comes up front.

The sliding door to the back opens, and the plain looking man who owns the places steps out into the showroom. He reaches to hang his heavy leather (and heavily worn) apron on a hook before striding to the desk. He is dressed in what would never be called business casual... his Pink Floyd, Dark side of the Moon teeshirt, and bluejeans being about as far from business as it gets. "Forgive the lack of attention please. My part time clerk only works in the afternoons. I am Colborn Gustafson. Welcome to The Forge. What can I do for you young man?" he asks.

Cinque Evers has posed:
Cinque Evers opens up his brochure for his shelter and begins to go into his lengthy spill, "Hello, I am Cinque Evers, the owner and operator of Jamii Shelter in the Bronx. We serve people all over the city that happen to found their way to the shelter. We provide a variety of unique services to our guests as we get them back on their feet, or provide enrichment activities to their children. One of their services we offer them is job training, and another service that we provide is educational tours for our youths during the school break. Cinque offers up a pride smile as he speaks again, "It is like a free urban camp for the children at our shelter. We take them to museums, broadway shows, and unique places in the city.

Cinque flips the pages the brochure as he mentions each activity, "We just need members of the community to help us with volunteering their time, their services, or money. It is all tax-deductible, and we welcome all of the donors to come to the shelter to see the lives that they are changing."

Colborn has posed:
Remaining silent throughout the whole presentation, Colborn observes, and nods where required. He is attentive for sure, and he approves of the mission of the shelter. At the end, his dark eyes flicker up to Cinque's own eyes, and then back down to the brochure.

After a few seconds of silent contemplation, he offers the hint of a smile. "A worthy cause indeed. I am not precisely.... as they say... rolling in money. But I would be happy to donate time and effort. Perhaps teach some of the children a bit of my trade if it might help them learn discipline and a skill. Plus time volunteering at the shelter. I would love to see lives changing for the better."

Cinque Evers has posed:
"That is great." Cinque leaves the brochure on the counter as he takes a step back, slight grin forming on his face. "We are always in need for more volunteers with fall and winter around the corner. Cinque asks, "Would you me to email or mail you an application? I don't bring applications wtth me, because I really want people to pause and think about volunteering. There are a few things worse than a disgruntled volunteer."

Colborn has posed:
"Whichever you prefer." offers Colborn with a shrug. He steps over to the counter and plucks a business card from the stand on it. He holds it out and says, "The email address is on this."

Then he shrugs his shoulders and grins, "I find that I enjoy teaching for sure."
