Synopsis:	Phoebe gives Detective Chimp a head's up on possible dealings with Delores Klein, and recruits him to help with finding some answers to the Ringmaster's threats.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    The Curio was somewhat crowded for a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't standing room, but most of the seats on the floor were taken.

    Phoebe had sent a text, via normal means, to Detective Chimp, asking him to meet her. She was busily writing something down, her dark eyes narrowed on notebook pages.

    Idu was sitting under her chair, head between his paws as he watched humans passed by, to and fro, in their doings.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp comes walking into the place he looks about trying to not only find Phoebe but also getting an idea of who all is about if he knows them and such. When he spots Phoebe he will head over towards her offering her a nod and "Hey there kids." He says greeting both Phoebe and her dog. They may notice his hat is singed, and fur maybe a little shorter.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    Phoebe looks to Chimp as he arrives, motioning him to the chair across from her before she registers the smell of singed simian.

    -What the heck happened to you?- she questions in sign.

    <HI CHIMP IT'S GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN!> Idu greets him, tail wagging hard against the legs of Phoebe's chair.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp smiles at Idu, the dog's happiness does have a way of invading Chimp somewhat. He smirks a bit and looks over to Phoebe and says "Prohabition booze Demon." He says as if that should be enough. He smirks "We handled it though all is good."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    Phoebe just stares a hot minute at Chimp.

    -Booze Demon.- she signs, And she tilts her head back and gives a nod. Not the weirdest thing.

    She picks up a folder, and she pushes it over to Chimp. Inside there was a coroner's report on one DeMarcus Winston. Wanted in the death of another man in New York City. Was discovered upon his own death to be riddled inside with tumours, aneyurisms, maladies that would have quickly made him 'incompatable with life' should they have been permitted to grow.

    Beneath that was a medical report from his last physician's visit showing no abnormalities in blood work or any other testing.

    -Came across a coroner's report on Mr. Winston. Looked into his death.- she signs.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will take the folder looking it over and hmms. He flips through it giving it his full attention for a moment, and says "Ok, so your thinking someone decided to take him out in a bit less natural way than it appears?" He asks her and will order a coffee.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    -No. His family's debt got wiped out two days after his death.- she signs, and she crosses her arms a moment in consideration. -Delores was involved in it. I'd heard concerns about a dark Fairy Godmother working in the East Village in NYC. Wanted to make sure it wasn't connected to the other 'urban legends' springing to life around the Tri-City area.- she stretches her fingers a moment.

    -She tried to get me to sign an NDA. I don't think she realizes how vigilantes work. I can't submit magic evidence in a court of law. What lawyer would accept it?-

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp 's brow raises a bit to this and says "Delores? " He hmms a bit to this and scratches his chin a bit and says "Well thats true, I can't even testify in court since I aint a human, but fill me in on how you think or know she was involved.

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    -Stole Mr. Winston's left sock from police evidence and paired it with my pendelum, lead me to the back door of her herbal remedy shop. Confronted her in the breakroom. She mentioned he was wanted for gunning someone down. And never once did anything to anyone without letting them know exactly how it'd go down. She's not Fae, I don't think, so took that at face value. There's not a courthouse even in N-Y-C that will process a warrant like that. Also not letting you testify in court is specisist. What a crock.- Phoebe states, and then she leans back against the chair, and shakes her head. -If he knew what he was getting himself into, then there's nothing to do about it. I just wanted *you* to be aware, with her whole 'telling of secrets' thing. You seem like a good guy.-

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp hmms and nods a bit to this and says "Hmms, and nods his head a bit to this and says "Could be a case of offering his life to test something to take care of his family, but he was wanted for murder you say?" He hmmms a bit and says "Did you look into his case, and see what details you could find?"

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    -That's not my jurisdiction. I was just there for the 'how the heck did a healthy young man suddenly develop eighteen types of end-stage cancer'- Phoebe signs back with a neutral face. -I leave the policing of normal stuff to the police. My interest was making sure she wasn't connected to the Ringmaster or the temporary lapse of reality that resulted in the Mantid-Bees. Which she isn't.-

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp 's brow raises a bit "Ringmaster?" He will ask her not having heard about this one."I will look into Delores' connections but from what I have seen she has seemed a good person, but I do appreciate the heads up."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    -Know enough people who start out as good and end up not.- Phoebe signs. And she purses her lips.

    -Unicorns in NYC. Started with a carousel that the ride animals came to life and started to try to capture people when this Ringmaster appeared. Like a bad Tim Burton movie. He said it wouldn't be the last we saw of him. Now these Urban Legends are popping up again and I'm trying to chase these things down. I'm tired. I have no one to talk to on it.-

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks to her, and says "Well, fill me in on them, I may know a bit, been in Gotham for past 40 years or so. I may have encountered some of them over the time I have been here." He offers to her and takes a sip of his coffee, without adding whiskey,

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    Phoebe pauses a moment, and then she shifts her weight.

    -Lot of urban legends coming to life in usual ways, being turned over and used to drag people in. Haunted libraries with spiders made of book pages. There's a cursed book in my possession that let a girl sling a beanbag and turned her friend to stone, a petrification spell that *luckily* I was able to reverse -- with time. And a lot of effort.- Phoebe stretches her hands again. -The sound of the train in the Firebird tunnel making people dive off the tracks and into that side reality.-

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp hmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "And a lot of these are common across a lot of places." He hmmms a bit and says "Have you looked into anything that might feed off belief of the common person and create it?"He hmms and says "Maybe something like a Tulpa, normally comes from people thinking of something while looking at a Tibetan symbol. Might not be that exactly but something a kin to it."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    -I don't think so, because although the urban legend is the trap, the side-reality is so vastly different. I don't think it's something like that. The Ringmaster had let slip that there's something wrong with their end of things, and they're taking people from our reality for something else. Not quite Fae changelings, not abductions... just... weirdness.- Phoebe gives a shrug.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp hmms and sits back and sips his coffee a bit more, and seems to think a bit about it "Do you know anyone who is innately magical? I mean I am magical yes, but I was not born so, maybe someone who has always been might be able to tell us something."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    Phoebe gives her patented Wet Cat expression.

    -I know a couple of homo-magi, one cursed magician, an ancient Atlantean who is in service to the Great Old Ones... tonight I'm going out to the Devil's Church out by the airport. Another Urban Legend, but did some scouting there last year. It's definitely on some sorta... nexus or leyline crossing. Going to see if I can't get some answers there, too.-

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp hmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "Need a bit of back up, I could come along with you." He offers and says "Part of the plan to see if there is any difference in the feel of the area, than was the last time you were there? I have been there once or twice, but always was things of the more mundane side of things."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    -No, I have a loose plan, but haven't worked out all the details. Depends on who shows up to the picnic.- Phoebe replies.

    Idu adds: <She's planning on sitting in THe Devil's Chair and drinking this thing to see if anything pops up.> Idu supplies, his tail wagging. <That's what she did last time.>

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp 's brow raises a bit as he looks over to Idu, and says "Well, I think I might come along then just to make sure you have some backup besides Idu, who I am sure would protect you, but more the merrier."

Phoebe Beacon has posed:
    Phoebe looks down at Idu. Idu wags his tail.

    -Well. Then we'll meet at 7PM, shoud be interesting.- Phoebe signs, and then she goes to slide off her chair. -Should gather things.-
