Zinda Blake has posed:
After talking about the heavy metal concert, Zinda and Jess agreed to meet at the Swordfish to change before taking a cab over. Of course this is Zinda's first 'concert' in this decade, so she's got a lot to learn.

Like why the heck does she need to change and what IS a 'smash pit' (she'll never get THAT right) anyway?

Standing at the bar, the fighter ace is in her usual miniskirt and black go-go boots with a crisp, white tee. The leather flight jacket is draped over the back of her chair and she sips a beer while she waits.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jess can lay no claims on being a heavy metal enthusiast or even an avid concert goer but she has seen a lot of youtube. In some respects she shares Zinda's lack of cultural references, having grown up in a very particular facility equipped for training HYDRA agents. Since her escape into the wild, she has made up for those missing teenage years with all the verve and energy that she possesses.

"You look great," she concludes after eyeing the pilot from head to toe. "If you are aiming to fit in, we can work on makeup. But honestly, why bother unless you are fishing for dates."

The green-eyed agent has come in heavy black Doc Martins laced up over the jeans ripped at the knees and across the thighs. A black t-shirt with the name of DEMONS and WIZARDS emblazoned on it. She models the makeup that she suggested to Zinda - a smudged eye and dark maroon makeup.

Zinda Blake has posed:
Zinda Blake looks over at the familiar voice, giving one of her trademark, poster-worthy smiles. "A concert AND a date? Let's go one step at a time, honey. I'd probably start a fight, out of reflex, an' that'd end it all real quick."

She looks Jess over, lifting a brow at the outfit. "Someday y'all are gonna hafta explain to me the whole 'ripped jeans' thing. Like the t-shirt, though." Squinting, she peers more closely at Jess' makeup, then.

"It's gotta be that dark? I'll roll with it if ya' say so." Picking up her jacket, she gestures towards the ladies room.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"It doesn't have to be anything. You do you," Jess replies with a smile and a nonchalant lift of a shoulder. "I felt dramatic tonight. There are no rules anymore unless you are sixteen and trying to fit in with a certain crowd. And you are certainly not that, and neither am I," she adds, the smile growing wider.

Zinda Blake has posed:
Zinda Blake nods in the direction of the bathroom and leads the way. "Do my makeup, then. Sounds like we're goin' into a 'target-rich environment', so may as well look th' part." Once inside, Zinda looks to the mirror and then turns to Jess. "I'm all yours, sugah."

Jessica Drew has posed:
Unslinging the backpack, hanging from one shoulder, Jess takes out a small pouch and unzips it. She unpacks eyeliner, a set of eyeshadows, mascara and two different lipsticks.

"We can make this fairly fast. What color eyeshadow do you want? And do you know how to outline your eye with pencil?" She asks standing behind Zinda, peering over her shoulder into the mirror.

Zinda Blake has posed:
Zinda Blake smirks at that, taking the eye pencil with a little nod. "We never used'ta put it on that thick, but yeah. I can manage." She considers for a moment, then picks the darkest eye shadow. "As close to Blackhawk colors as you can, I reckon."

Zinda leans in and applies the liner with remarkable dexterity. "Least we ain't gonna use false lashes. Those things are horrible...."

Jessica Drew has posed:
"I can't stand them myself. They are heavy and I see them with every blink." She shares a shudder with Zinda. "Mascara is enough if you've got lashes, which you do and so do I," she returns the smirk in the mirror.

"Besides two natural beauties like ourselves don't need to gild the lily."

Zinda Blake has posed:
Zinda Blake makes short work of applying the liner, putting it on thick. "Gild the lily... now there's somethin' I ain't heard in a real long time." She hands back the pencil and flashes another grin.

"You're right, of course. But jus' 'cause we ain't gildin' the lily don't mean we can't show off a lil' stem." And with that she raises a knee, flashing a lot of bare leg with a laugh. "Alright, honey. What else you got?"

Jessica Drew has posed:
Sharing the laugh, "Put on your mouth. I thought they said gams when you were flying?"

Jess runs her fingers through her own heavy dark hair worn parted on one side and caught behind her ears. A pair of unusual green stone stud earrings flash in her ears.

Zinda Blake has posed:
Zinda Blake laughs at that. "Gams! Hell I didn't know folks in this generation even knew what that meant." she replies. The darkest lipstick goes on next followed by lip liner, thick and heavy. Zinda tilts her head, looking at Jess' hair for a moment as she finished darkening her makeup.

"Two piercings? In the same ear? Well ain't that fancy..." she muses. Leaning forward, she flips her hair and tousles it before flipping it back. The curls are mostly in place, but she looks rather... mussed.

Achilles has posed:
And sure, folks might be expecting to take a taxi to the show, but Jessica's phone dings with a text message as she is preparing to go to the show. The message is from Agent Tampambulos, and it simply reads: RIDE IS OUT FRONT.

And yes, apparently Angelo learned what the event tonight was, and has showed up with a Hair-Metal wig and an all leather outfit. What? He -can- rock out now and then. The logo for the band <MASTADON> is worn on a necklace dangling down over his chest. And yeah, his top is nothing but a leather vest, showing off a lot more of that physique than he -normally- shows off.

He stands there by the car out front, leaning against it as he waits, and puts his phone back into his pocket.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"They were a present from an ex. But I am fond of them, considering they are from another planet." Her phone dings.

"Guess what?" she looks up from reading the text. "We have a ride waiting for us outside to whisk us away. How are you with very loud music Zinda? This might be like nothing you have ever experienced. Think of many planes taking off at once with you in the middle of them. Ready?"

Zinda Blake has posed:
Zinda Blake adjusts her t-shirt and gives a little shimmy to adjust what's underneath while Jessica's phone dings. "From another planet...?"

"Louder than 2000 horsepower an' 20 millimeter guns goin' off? Yeah, I think I can handle it." With the darker makeup and messed up hair, she tosses the leather jacket over her shoulder and the two step outside to meet their ride.

Zinda gives Angelo a look and grins broadly. "An' I thought -I- was the bold one. Jus' look at YOU, now!"

Achilles has posed:
Smirking, Angelo gives a little pose and a twirl to show off the outfit. "There is an old adage. I believe it goes... When in Rome, do as the Romans." he says with his barely-hinted at English accent.

But then he steps over and opens the back door, "The ride awaits my ladies." he says formally as he holds said door.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Right behind Zinda who looks closer to a match with Angelo's style, Jess gives a loud wolf whistle at her fellow agent.

"Angelo, you have the right look. Is that the original Visigoth look? I feel underdressed, you two," she says opening the door for Zinda. "You can have shotgun. I will kibbitz from the backseat."

Zinda Blake has posed:
Zinda Blake laughs and looks Angelo over once more before sauntering around to the passenger seat and sliding right in. "Visigoth look? What the hell kinda concert is this, anyhoo? And I'm with you, Jess. I think there's more leather in my jacket than everythin' you're wearin', Angelo."

Not that her wandering gaze seems to mind, much. "Where'd you say you were from, again?"

Achilles has posed:
"To quote a good movie in the eighties... lots of different places." offers Angelo as he grins. He closes the door on Zinda, and then for Jess before he walks around and climbs into the driver's seat.

"As for the show, it's music of a generation. Not -this- generation, but it still entertains. Believe me.." he says as he fastens his seat belt, "It's more than music. It's a performance that is mostly made around the music. But personalities and audience participation is just as important. Trust me, there have been some front men who played the audience like it was an instrument." And that said, he starts the engine up. "Let's rock." he adds as he puts the car into gear and begins driving.
