My World and Welcome To It.
Date of Scene: 31 August 2022
Location: Kían's estate, Kyshán
Synopsis: Birdworld is visited. One more visitor than was planned on shows up. And all moms all over the universe are embarrassing to their kids.
Cast of Characters: Kian, Irie West, Michael Hannigan, Terry O'Neil, Gar Logan, Caitlin Fairchild, Kaida Connolly, Nadia Pym-van Dyne, Donna Troy

Kian has posed:
Kían's own preparations to go to his world didn't really involve much beyond letting his family know he was coming back for a visit, and giving his house its orders to prepare for an onslaught of one birdman and several Earthers.  Also, gathering all four of the Rannian translators, to be passed around as needed.  It'd be great to figure out a way to incorporate that technology into his kirát, the estate's control systems, but that's well outside his technological knowledge.  He's a theoretician, not an engineer.
Speaking of the translators, he's not wearing the one he claimed for his own just now.  "I really don't know what I should warn you about.  I mean, I don't know what you're going to find weird an' all.  It's just a normal Akiár world…."
He trails off, and blinks, and then just laughs.  "Which only Terry an' Gar haf been to before.  I haf to remind myself that my normal isn't your normal.  Maybe I should just ask—iss there anything I haven't explained that I should?  I guess I can't really say I'm a normal Akiár, so you might not be able to judge my friends and family from me."
He hoists a good-sized tote bag.  It's full of chocolate.  He has trades to make and orders to fulfill.

Irie West has posed:
Irie has some bags packed with clothes, probably far too many, as well as the necessary toiletries and sunblock.  She is a redhead after all.  She doesn't tan.  She gets broiled.
"Is there a way I can recharge my phone there?" she asks.  "Mads is gonna want a ton of pics."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Somewhere in the group of people coming along is a Mike.  While technically not a Titan, he's been hanging around enough to where the invite to come along was extended.  And accept he did.  To be honest, after the last few weeks and the sizable lecture he got from Wade in lieu of the previously agreed upon two questions—he could REALLY use a vacation.
The musician's not all that aware of what one SHOULD wear to another planet, but he basically assumed if they were all going and not putting on special suits then comfortable clothing and sensible shoes should cover it.  The backpack contained additional attire.
As Kian asks if there's anything he needs to explain, Mike holds up a hand slightly.  "Uh, are there any common mannerisms we tend to do here that might mean something COMPLETELY different there?"

Terry O'Neil has posed:
Vorpal is carrying two totes.  One is full of his stuff, the other is full of chocolate.  Hey, college tuition is high, okay?  A cat's gotta do what a cat's gotta do.  He's definitely dressed in vacation wear: a red tank top and black shorts, with an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt in almost psychedelic colors.
"Have you told them about the surprise nudity and the psychedelic parties?  Or the fact that you are technically a god?" he grins and sets the bags down, giving Kian a gentle nudge with the elbow.  "And if anybody asks you if you are a god, you say yes.  You've watched the movie now.  You can get the reference."
Glancing at his team-mates and friends, the Cheshire cat rubs his hands.  "Just remember—this is a big stretch for me.  I won't be able to Rabbit Hole or much of anything for one or two days… so make sure you have what you need before I open the Rabbit Hole, or you can bid it goodbye for a week!  As for the power supplies… I think they can work with that?  Otherwise, Kian can go all glowy and recharge batteries himself."  He winks at Kian.  No, Kian can't actually do that.
    Wait. can he?
"I… don't think we have any mannerisms that could be potentially offensive to Kian's people.  Just no chicken and egg jokes, to be safe."  Can Terry be trusted as a cultural translator, is the question.

Gar Logan has posed:
Gar Logan's come along for this, for there are reasons to go back to Kian's world.  Qihar for one.  Kala for another.  Plus, a needed vacation that isn't just an unexpected disappearance this time.
Kian is not the only Akiar gathered right now.  Naturally, to make the trip easier, Gar's taken the same form, green all over as usual, and he's dressed the way Kian typically prefers.  His wings rustle a couple times, and he's got a backpack of his own slung over a shoulder.  Rather than his usual height, he's closer to Kian's.
"Well, we could also just not do phones there, except for maybe pictures and stuff.  I don't think we're gonna be connecting to the internet from there," he says.  "Think of it as a chance to disconnect.  I'll be flying for a lot of it.  And catching up with a few friends."

Caitlin Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin carries a backpack almost as big as she is, a high-end travel pack with reinforced frame and extra pockets.  She's dressed like the others for a variety of unexpected conditions; a two-piece, green-and-purple workout ensemble, under her Amazon armor.  Her hair's worn loose and held back from her face by a pair of hairclips and a scrunchie so it doesn't get pinched in the backpack.
"I brought a portable solar battery," Caitlin reassures Irie.  "And it has a manual backup crank.  Should be enough to keep the smaller devices charged up."
At Terry's admonition about packing, she makes a very pointed effort to resist the urge to unpack her loadout and make sure she has, indeed, packed everything she'll need.
Because down that road is the way to madness.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
Casually walking up to the group, Kaida simply drops off a tiny bag.  She looks around at everyone else, peering from person to person before simply shaking her head and letting out a sigh.
"You lot sure do pack heavy," she states simply enough and simply leaps up to a high point on which to stand before shaking her head.  "I really don't get it even before, well, before."  She shrugs and plops down on her perch and looks around.
"You gotta learn to work with what ya got!  When you learn that, you can live anywhere!"

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia doesn't appear to have packed for a trip, but then she could have an entire walkin closet stashed in her pocket and nobody would ever know.  At the very least it is a safe bet she has her suit and the laboratory she wears around her neck, but otherwise whatever she is bringing has been stashed out of sight as she walks up dressed in a red and black plaid skirt trimmed with black lace and a black 'Ride the Lightning' Metallica T-Shirt that likely owes equal parts to Hawk's influence and a joke directed at Thor.
"Hi, everyone!"  She smiles brightly.  Full of energy today, she's clearly excited to be venturing to another new planet.  Even if she's already had some exposure to the residents and culture of this one.

Kian has posed:
Kían looks helplessly at Irie.  "I… don't know?  We might be able to get something to work, I hope.  But Terry iss right—"  There's a phrase not said very often.  "—I might be able to recharge it myself, if I'm careful."
Mike's question gives him genuine pause.  "That's hard to say.  I've gotten so used to all the weird things Earthers do, and I still find it a little hard to imagine anything I do iss weird.  But yes, don't talk about birds as food.  That would be bad.  But I can't imagine any way that anyone would face anything actually threatening from any of my people.  It's just not our way."
He addresses the travel club as a whole.  "Everyone, please remember, unlike on Earth, people on Kyshán aren't threatening when they do something you don't understand.  We really are a peaceful people.  Someone diving at you just wants to say kié, since they won't be able to reach your minds."
    He beams at Terry.  "Ready?"

Irie West has posed:
"Oh I wasn't expecting to use my phone for anything other that pictures," Irie tells Gar.  "I didn't figure we'd get cell reception.  I just don't have a camera otherwise."  Kian's admittance of the sheer possibility that he could charge it gets Irie's eyes to go wide with excitement.  "Okay.  I'm gonna go back up everything on the cloud.  We have got to try this."  She she might end up sacrificing photos for this experiment but how many people can say that they've had their phone fried by a friendly extraterrestrial?
She hoists her stuffed bags and puffs up a little.  "Ready!"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike looks over to Terry as he answers the question.  He looks back to Kian.  He blinks as Kian more or less leaves it at Terry's suggestions.
Well then.  Okay.  So long as he doesn't end up accidentally buying a house or something by making a general hand gesture.
The mention of the possibility of the phones not being able to have a signal, while not a surprising reveal, does manage to trigger a small smile in the musician.  A hand lifts to run a thumb under one of his bookbag straps.  "Yeah, let's do this."

Terry O'Neil has posed:
"Yes, just let me do my stretches," Terry sets, and takes a deep breath, beginning his focus exercises.  It's not exactly a big deal—by Terry Pratchett's Theory Of Diminishing Difficulty, the next time you do something difficult is often easier than the first time you did it.  That's totally realistic, right?  Well, that's what he tells himself in order to avoid overthinking about the fact that he's about to punch a hole in reality that connects two different locations light years away.  Since then, he has done this on a monthly basis to deliver 'the merch' to Kian's people.  By now, he should be an ace at it.
And he is.  It's just that this is the team he's doing this in front of.  So many opportunities for embarrassing himself.
    "Well, here it goes!"
This Rabbit Hole is different.  All of Terry's Rabbit Holes on Earth are pretty much just holes that show the other location right on the other side.  No tunnel, no nothing.  But this one starts off differently—there is no other place, at the start, but a ten-foot circle of pure blackness, with the edges glowing a bright and angry magenta, with sprays of similar-colored sparks being emitted from the rim.  After a second or two, the glowing edges of the circle appear to spread towards the center of the circle, overcoming the darkness.  A momentary adjustment, and suddenly the scene has depth, revealing a sparkling corridor that starts off magenta but cycles through the colors of the rainbow.  It's a long corridor, at that, impossibly long and it fades into nothingness, giving the impression of an incalculable distance.  After another second, a pinpoint of light appears at the very end of the tunnel, and begins to grow and grow until it becomes apparent that it is the other side of the Rabbit Hole, approaching from a distance beyond imagination, at an absolutely staggering speed.
And then, with a burst of sparks, the two ends of the Rabbit Hole come into contact with each other, and there, on the other side, is Kian's home.
"Voila!" Vorpal cries out, and gestures.  "The Planet of the Birbs!"

Gar Logan has posed:
"There's a lot to want to take pictures of," the Garkiar nods to Irie, and he stands back to let others be the first ones through.  He's seen it before.  Besides, chances are there will be at least one or two Akiar over there who are happy to see him.
No offense, Vorpal or Kian.  Speaking of, he passes by both of them en route to the spot he takes up, giving them a small ruffling in the process.
Clearing his throat, he encourages, "Okay!  Time to break on through to the other side!  Hope you're ready!"

Caitlin Fairchild has posed:
"Terry, every time you make one of these, you make physics cry," Caitlin informs Terry.  She steps up to the portal to examine it with a critical eye.  But it seems stable enough and reality isn't breaking around it (yet).
So she tightens the pack straps, takes a deep breath, and plunges into the eldritch mists that close the gap between Earth and Akiar.  If things go horribly wrong or there's a hostile presence on the other side, Caitlin's certainly well-equipped enough to handle it.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"Irie, why not just get a back up battery?  I mean, they make them smaller than me."  She nods her head and shrugs before looks at the opening portal.  Kaida watches Terry do it and then giggles at what Caitlin has to say before looking at the portal again.
"I'm pretty sure most of us are hated by physics.  Anyway, yeah, Irie, there's still time.  For you anyway."  She grins and shrugs before she slings her tiny pack over her shoulder and casually heads through it with a little leap.  If there's danger or a hostile presence on the other side, she can defend Caitlin from it.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"Are physics really crying though?" Nadia asks as she steps up to the portal examining it with a critical and a small scanner that has somehow appeared in her hand.  Like she would really miss an opportunity to examine one of Terry's rabbit holes that is connecting two different planets.  "I mean physics is the study of the nature of well everything, energy, matter, the universe, observed and tested.  This has to fit somehow."
Nadia squints, looking between the large glowing circle and the data scrolling on her device for a moment, as if that will let her see just a little bit deeper.  But finally she straightens up and with a wave back at Terry skips through the portal to take some readings from the other side!

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna is travelling light.  As she's Donna she could claim to be travelling light with a few tons on her back, but she's managing with just a light backpack, and one a whole lot smaller than the giant pack Caitlin is carrying.  She has even opted to leave her shield at home, though her sword and lasso are at her belt.  Maybe she's being over-cautious when visiting a planet full of pacifists, but she'd probably feel naked without at least a couple of weapons with her.
It's only going to be a few days, so it's not like there's a need to carry a whole lot, right?  So long as Terry doesn't manage to fall on his head or give his powers away to some passing stranger, that is.  Maybe it would be advisable to have packed more, especially as it's going to take Terry a couple of days to recover and reopen the Rabbit Hole, right?  Poor Terry, it's a lot of work.
Probably Donna's arranged something with Raven and her luggage will be following her.  That would explain much.  For all that Raven seems to be more accepting of Terry's existence these days, there's no guarantee she wouldn't find it amusing.
"Physics ran out of tears with the invention of quantum mechanics," Donna injects with a smirk to Nadia as she follows Caitlin through.  "Magic's just one more annoyance that physics has to get used to.  You'll get there, Nadia.  You just have to accept that sometimes square pegs can fit in round holes."

Kian has posed:
Now, Kían had told his family that he didn't want any fuss upon his return.
Kían's family proves that family is embarrassing regardless of the planet.  There's a chorus of "Kya!"s and "Ki-ai!"s and Kían is all but tackled by two birdfolk that bear a definite familial resemblance.
Most everyone should recognize Kían's siblings Shíri and Keth; and Kála, who flicks a mental greeting at Garkiar rather than dive into the middle of the scrum to greet him, and a few others that Terry and Gar will recognize from their earlier visit.
Startled, he begins in his language, then switches to English for his friends' benefit, mentally communicating with his "assailants", and routing the translation of what they're saying to the house control systems.  "What are you doing here?  I said I didn't want anything special!"
«This isn't special, this is just welcoming our son home!»
    Moms are universal, apparently.

Irie West has posed:
Somehow it's possible for Irie's eyes to go even wider when she watches Terry open up an intergalactic portal.  "OOooooooooo!  That was neat!"  She stares at the portal for a few, hesitating to go through.  She closes her eyes and chants to herself, "Do not speedforce.  Do not speedforce.  Do not speedforce."
Kaida's comment elicits a "Because then I wouldn't be able to say that an extraterrestrial friend of mine charged the battery with a touch."  She shakes her head and gets back to concentrating.  "Do not speedforce.  Do not speedforce…."  Something about her dulls a little bit.  Her endless enthusiasm seems doesn't seem quite so endless.
Taking a deep breath she cautiously walks through the portal and sighs a breath of relief when nothing happens.  She grins as Kian's family tackles him and she thrusts her arms in the air and "Ki-ai's" herself, that boundless enthusiasm returning.  "Hiiiii!" she calls out to them in her own greeting.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike watches Terry set to work.  Splitting the time between watching Terry's stretching, the forming portal, and the general movements of the Titan bringing about the connection, it is quite a sight.  When the world o' Birb comes into clear view, Mike grins to the ~ta da~ing feline.  "Thanks Terry," The musician offers appreciatively, watching others jumping through the portal.
The small Kya! Symphony that comes through the portal does not go unnoticed, triggering a chuckle.
Mike hops through on his turn, feet shuffling upon the landing on the other side.  Glancing about at the scenery and to the obviously related family of Kian.  Mike shuffles to the back of the gathering, glancing to the portal to wait for the others.

Terry O'Neil has posed:
There is nothing so smug as a cat who smiles in satisfaction at a perfectly executed skill.  This is Terry, now, glancing at how flawlessly the Rabbit Hole was executed.  "Pegs can fit just about anywhere with enough resourcefulness and just the right amount of pressure.  I learned that the hard way the first time I tried assembling an IKEA table.  I'm sure it was not supposed to look like a porcupine."
Yes, he can even joke while keeping an intergalactic portal open, isn't he Mr. Smooth McSmoothie now?  He makes sure he is the last one through, coming in at the rear just as Kian gets tackled and everybody is greeted by Kian's family.
«We return!» he calls out.  Yes, he has been learning Kian's langu—okay, so far he's only managed to memorize a few phrases, because he's been busy learning Themysciran over at the center and he doesn't want to incur linguistic smorgasbord confusion by trying to learn two languages at the same time.  So Handy Akiar Phrases For The Well-Prepared Traveler is the extent of his preparation so far.  He keeps the Rabbit Hole open for a few more instants as he watches the scene, arms crossed and a big grin plastered across his face.  "Our vacation has officially start—"
"You almost forgot these."  Plunk.  Terry's bags drop by his side.  A voice.  A familiar voice, right behind him.  "Really, Terry, where is your head?  You'd have had no clothes for the rest of the trip."
Terry turns on his heel and stares at the person who just walked out of the Rabbit Hole.  Agatha O'Neil, dressed for a day out, including the sunglasses.  And there's a bag of her own, a sensible carry-on on wheels, by her right side.  "That would have been a poor way to start your vacation."
She smiles just as the Rabbit Hole closes.  Terry makes a little squeak.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"Aww, that's cute!" Kaida says to the lot of them before she shakes her head and still seems rather unclear as to how she seems to get an idea about what people are saying in other languages, but she does and that's a bridge she'll eventually cross.  All the same, she seems to suck in a rather slow breath and blinks as she stands there.  She turns her head left and right.  She looks around slowly and then spins around once before she stumbles back and looks kinda dizzy.  After a moment she simply falls over and stares up into the sky.
"Whoa, that's weird."  She says to no one in particular before she looks up at Agatha and then looks over at Terry before she closes her eyes.  "How in the…."  She shrugs and slowly stands up before looking to Kian and then at Kian's family before finally just walking up to beside Kian and offering a wave if seen.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"Quantum mechanics is just a deeper understanding of physics.  That's just science, making new observations and discarding outdated understandings as we learn new things."  Nadia grins at Donna, as she makes the sensor disappear seemingly satisfied that she has enough new data on this phenomena for the moment.  "A square peg can definitely fit in a round hole under the right circumstances, anything is possible, we just need to figure out how.  All of this phenomena."  She pauses and peers back at Terry.  "What's an Ikea and how does it turn a table into a porcupine?  That definitely sounds like magic."
But then they are on the other side and there are happy greetings and shouts and Kian's family embarassing him and Terry's Mom?!  Things just keep getting more interesting.  Though Nadia for her part now sort of hangs observing the family rituals.  She's never actually had siblings of her own and even her current family life is anything but 'normal' so it is fascinating to her to observe how families interact with each other, no matter the planet.  Though she does give a wave and a smile to Kian's siblings that she met playing qihar.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna shields her mouth and whispers a compound phrase to Terry just as Agatha comes through the Rabbit Hole.  "Grandcentralstation.  Grandcentralstation."  Amazons are such troublemakers.
The natives Donna has already met—Kala, Shiri and Keth—get a broad smile and a wave.  The rest of the greeting party she observes curiously, but she's staying out of the way of the family reunions, standing alongside Caitlin and Nadia as birb greets birb.  "Ikea is one of the Underworlds," she tells Nadia.  "Kind of the Swedish equivalent of Tartarus.  The Swedes believe that if you lead an unworthy life you must spend eternity in a giant building, constructing cheap furniture from parts that don't fit together and are always missing at least one vital component, with instructions designed to be as unclear as possible."
Kaida's reaction causes Donna to raise an eyebrow and look at her with concern, but the mouse is quickly on her feet again and apparently no worse for her spell.  Donna tilts her head in the direction of the smallest Titan and whispers a quick, "You okay there Kaida?  Gravity difference throwing you or something?"

Gar Logan has posed:
Gar Logan grins at the reactions from the rest of the group as they get their first look at the new world after passing through the long-range rabbit hole.  He touches minds briefly with Kala, a warm greeting, and extends similar to the others he's familiar with.
All the same, he keeps his distance to let all the initial hullabaloo come and go, which puts him in direct proximity to… "Mrs. O'Neil!  You made it too?  Well, this is a surprise!"  The last time Agatha saw him, he was his usual green self.  He's also been a very feline self.  Now he's a very birdy self.  So many different faces, different masks.

Kian has posed:
Kían has said that his home is a small one by Akiár standards.  Apparently 'small' means 'aircraft hangar', well insinuated into the canopy of a copse of tall trees.  It's a bit more decorated than the Spartan layout of his room at the Tower, but there's lots of room to fly in.
«Who are your friends?  I remember Gar and Téri, of course.»
"Uh.  Gar and Téri, yis," Kían begins, with a noticeable thickening of his accent, as if mere contact with his own language dissolved the uppermost layers of his command of English.  "Írie, Dónna, Míkal, Ná-dia, an' this," he winds up, bending down and picking up the team's Mighty Mouse, "iss Káida."
He blinks twice, stares, blinks again.  "An'… Ágata Téri'chal?"
Somehow locating the rest of his manners, he makes the rounds of his people for his teammates' benefit: "My blood-parents Kái and Erýn, and my brood-parents Tarán and Íla, my new sister I'Íla'Tarán—" who really looks like any other baby, "—and my friends Raká, Kiár and Áre."
Almost without thinking about it, he blurts out to Terry, "You didn't tell me your mother was coming."

Irie West has posed:
"Omygosh, hi!" Irie says with an enthusiastic wave to each as they're introduced.  She's practically buzzing with excitement.  Leaning over to Terry she asks sotto voce, "Um, how do you say, 'pleased to meet you?'"
Terry's mothing gets a surprised, "Oh, hi Terry's mom!"  This is the first time she's met her so it doesn't feel right to call her by her first name yet.  The way she says it sounds like it should be coming from a teenager, not from a woman who's in her mid-thirties.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Once everyone's accounted for, Mike starts to look back to the gathering before him.  He's not sure on the words to use for greeting so he lifts up a hand to give a wave of greeting.
Agatha's voice ends up drawing his attention back to the portal.  Seeing the woman drop Terry's bags off behind him and bring luggage of her own, the musician's lips part in reaction.  Terry's expression immediately after just ends up pushing Mike to the point of laughter.  It is not a loud chortle or the Nelson-esque brand but it indeed lasts for a few moments.  He's seen that look on younger fans when their dad or mother follows them up to the table.
Gar greeting her confirms it.  "Hello," Mike offers to Agatha, giving a wide grin.  Possibly a bad influence from some of his more Catty compatriots.  "Glad you could make it.  Terry looks delighted that you came.  He's practically speechless."
    Introductions.
    Oh right.
    "I'm Mike."
As Kian goes about introducing people, Mike looks back over to his host.  Nodding when he hears Kian's pronunciation of his name.  He smiles to the group.  "Thank you for having us over."

Kaida Connolly has posed:
"It's fine, Donna."  She smiles and then waves as she is introduced.  Kaida looks around after, looking at the people here again but then looking around again.  She shifts a little and then walks over to stand by Donna and she lets out a sigh that sounds almost as relaxed as can be.
"There's no one in pain here.  No one truly suffering or poor or crying out."  She looks around and then laughs a bit.  "It's really weird.  It's like simultaneously being more relaxed than I ever have and also feeling like I don't belong here."  She shrugs and chuckles as she rubs the back of her head.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia seems wholly on board with Donna's explanation at first, but catches on pretty quick that she is probably messing with her, still she grins.  "Truly Sweden is a strange and mysterious place."
She gives another wave when she is introduced.  «Nice to meet you all!» she says through her own modified Rannian translator that she's been poking at with Sardath and Alanna's help, as she tries among other things to bridge the gap between the Rannian technology and what PymTech uses for insect communication.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna gives waves and "Kie"s to all the birbs as they are introduced, and finds a convenient corner to drop her pack.  Kaida gets a serious nod.  "I… know what you mean," she says.  "It's a strange feeling to know you have a purpose, and yet not be needed.  This is not a world that has much need for warrior mice, nor Amazons.  Still, we all deserve a break from time to time.  If you moved here permanently it might drive you crazy, but a few days will be good for you."
Mike's persecution of Terry to his mother provokes a smirk from Donna, while the dissonance of Irie's progeriontic appearance to her teenage patterns of speech provokes instead a hand rested somewhat protectively on the speedster's shoulder.  "First time on another planet, Ms. O'Neil?" she asks with a wry smile.  Although it doesn't really require an answer, she's giving Agatha something to respond to, perhaps to distract from any awkward consideration of the Irie situation.  "I'm sure that Terry has told you all about his experiences on other planets.  I presume you came along to help stop him from causing any more ancient and noble cultures from collapsing.  That's appreciated."

Terry O'Neil has posed:
"Michael, it is nice to meet you, Terry has told me all about you," Agatha says, smiling at the musician, and then at Irie, "And hello, yes, I am Terry's mother, but you can call me Agatha…" she offers to Irie with a friendly tilt of her head, somewhat puzzled by the youthful mannerism.
Terry's eyes are as round as dinner plates.  "I didn't know she was coming!" he hisses back to Kian, sidling up to him so they can talk without being overheard by the Mother Unit, "I told her where I was going and she said it must be very nice and I agreed and I might—" he pauses, and then his eyes go wider still, impossibly, "Oh god I think I might have invited her without realizing it—"
"—Yes."  The willowy woman nods to Donna, and raises an eyebrow, with a very slight smirk, "I have been made aware of the Tattoo Incident, and I thought that perhaps it would be a good idea to keep an eye on Terry in case he causes the future in-laws to declare war on Earth."
"Mom!" Vorpal says, aghast.  Then he looks at Donna with a look that is equal parts 'why?' and 'help meeee.'  Fortunately, Agatha moves on, gliding past Terry and moving towards Kian.  "Garfield, it is good to see you again, I hope you will introduce me to all of Terry's friends that I haven't had a chance to meet yet—"  Terry wilts just a little.  "But please do introduce me to your parents, Kian, I would be delighted to get to know them."

Gar Logan has posed:
Gar Logan can't help himself.  "Oh, yeah.  I heard about that.  The one where all the people on that one planet ended up with tattoos of cat butts on their foreheads."  He tsks at this, shaking his head.  Never let it be said he leaves every opportunity to twist the knife in alone.
He gestures toward the rest of the crew as he adds to Agatha, "Yeah, anyone you didn't already meet before, I'll get you all caught up to speed soon.  Promise."  For now, it's all about meeting other parents and family.  Friends, as well.  This leads to him giving Kala a half grin, his wings fluffing out briefly whether he's thinking about it or not.  {Can't wait to practice again,} he sends to her.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike blinks as he looks over to Terry.  "Oh he has?"
    Dear God.  NO.
He looks back to Agatha.  "Good things, I hope."

Kian has posed:
Kían does not translate the part about declaring war.  There'd be no explaining that to his family.  His eyes lose focus for a second or two, and then his mother Erýn steps forward.  «Ágata our sister, you will of course stay with us while you're here.  It will be good to get to know more of our son's family-by-choice.»
{That should keep her busy and you owe me one,} he 'sends privately to Terry, "just happening" to lean in closer to him to make contact.
And because he's a good bird, he parts with one of the Rannian translators, so that Agatha's not doing immersion study of Akiár'shak while there.
Meanwhile, Kála has finally made her way around the knot of family to find Gar and greet him properly—which is to say a hug, with her wings wrapped around him.
    Kían sighs heavily… but happily.
