Cast of Characters: Thomas Blake, Megan Gwynn

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake has been checking wiring and light bulbs all day. No obvious problems have shown themselves. In a truly rotten mood, he goes to fix himself a White Russian and... stops. The milk he bought yesterday is spoiled. He throws it out in disgust, then decides to improvise with some Bailey's. That is enough for one drink. He takes a sip. Gaaah. The Brown Russian is too sweet. Annoyed he sets the drink down and then goes to make a quick run to the store for milk.

And more light bulbs. He heads out the back way. Maybe he'll bring Rasputin to the store. The lady there always gives him a goodie. Plus, those teens who were bothering her are nowhere to be seen these days.

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn slept in, probably slept in waay too late, and she's a bit anxious when she finally gets up, looking like she could do with more sleep. Did she have a bad dream or something? She shuffles around the kitchen looking for something to eat, pouting at the sight of the milk carton in the garbage.

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake, meanwhile is walking the streets of Happy Harbor with his tiger. In the interests of safety, Rasputin is on a leash. In addition Blake bears a large walking stick in one hand to smack anyone too dumb to let the tiger alone. He makes his purchases from the mm and pop store. Rasputin receives a Twinkie for being a good kitty and several pats on the head. Hardware store next.

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn peers around at broken lightbulbs, and one bulb that is still buzzing, barely holding on, until she passes under it and it abruptly pops and explodes. "Meeep!" she squeaks and jumps, running out of the house. No no no...This is all her fault! With a sigh, she sits down on the front steps of the house, resting her chin on her knees, looking sad..

Thomas Blake has posed:
That is where Catman and his big cat finds her a few minutes later. The tiger walks off to leap into his enclosure. He had enough of people. A nap is needed. Thomas lays his stick down, places his groceries and bulbs on the porch and without a word Gathers his Faerie up in one arm. He grabs his bag with the other hand and walks to the door. He gives Megan a nuzzle and asks, "Can you get the door for us? And... what's the matter?"

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn meeps as Thomas arrives and scoops her up, not protesting at all of course. she's always felt comforted by his presence, although she wilts against him, her wings droopy blue-grey. "It's mee! I'm the bad luck..I'm the one making all the bulbs explode and bad milk and..Other stuff...I dont know what's wrong with me.." she looks like she might cry.

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake sets the bag down and holds Megan with both hands. He strokes her hair softly. "Where did you get that idea? That's ridiculous." At this point a bulb blows... from inside the bag. Thomas prepares himself to comfort a crying girl.

"Damn..."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn meeps and jumps again, and yes, tears are starting to fall from her dark pink eyes as she clutches him tightly, "You see?! I'm a bad luck charm! I'm tearing your house to pieces! I'm dangerous to be around!" she pulls away then, looking like she might just run off or...Port away or something..

Thomas Blake has posed:
Thomas Blake pulls her back to him. Not really any close contest there. She's a bit over a hundred pounds and half of that is cuteness. "Okay... sssshhh. Listen. All this is -is some light bulbs and milk. Here's what you got to do... stop crying. Get dressed. Put on your big girl clothes. Go to the Velvet Room and research this. You are very good with research and magic books. Read up on this. Call or portal in so I don't worry about you." He gives her teary face a couple kisses. Then a swat on the behind. "You got this. Read up and fix it."
