Synopsis:	Mary Jane catches up with the newest Green Lantern Trainee, Jessica Cruz, post exorcism.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
It'd taken her a few weeks to track down the other woman's contact information. And then a bit mroe figuring out how to present herself. But, after some time she'd bothered to actually get around to it. Sending a message identifying herself (roughly) as the redheaded stab girl, she had said she would be at Coffee of Doom. So now waiting, Mary Jane would sip at some tea and nibble at a Latverian pastry

Jessica Cruz got the message and remembered immediately the one who helped with that craziness in the wax museum. She finally decides to show as she zooms over via lantern ring and lands in an alley - turns her Lantern oufit off and strides in wearing a forest-green blouse and dark green jeans. She hmmmms softly as she looks around. She heads over to the redh ead sitting at the table. "Hello again," she states softly as she sits down across from you. It's obvious that you are the one who showed up at the wax museum - though you are wearing normal clothes. Jessica, too, was garbed normally in that incident. And she sitll has a ring on her finger though it does look a bit different somehow...

Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Hey, you're looking a bit better than last time. I'm.. Sorry it took me a long time to follow up." She admits that. "But I'm far from good on networking. You.. Definitely look a lot better than you did. Have you managed to get things sorted out?" JEssica seemed to be a lot better.

Jessica Cruz has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods slowly. "Yes. My situation is fully resolved. With a few lingernig side-effects but nothing major." She sighs softly, rubbing her forehead. "By the way, I don't think we've actually introduced ourselves - you were a bit berserker and I was a bit out of it." She extends her hand. "I'm Jessica, by the way."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would offer her hand over, "Mary Jane. Uh.. THe lady on the other end of that thing was Sonja. She's the rather opinionated one of us." 'One of us'? "And I'm really glad you're doing better, Jessica. You're not having any more issues with the crazy guy in your head?"

Jessica Cruz smiles. "I don't have one anymore. He's been banished - sent to wherever long-displaced spirits go to finally die. I'm actually...' She smiles as she gestures and a brief Green Lantern logo appears over her hand. "This ring was a Lantern ring, but possessed. Now - beware my power," she states, smiling softly.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would laugh brightly, "Wow, you've gone up in the world. Congratulations. I don't know anything about the.. Lanterns, but you have a really big responsibility. you're a space cop now>"

Jessica Cruz has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods. "Basically. Though I'm still a trainee so have to visit Oa now and then." She then states, "So - 'Sonja' is like... your alter-ego? Another personality? Was it all similar to my situation?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
There would be a moment where Mary Jane would try to figure out how to respond over to that . "Uh.. I suppose? We're kind of.. Sharing a mind here but we get along with it. But it's kind of complicated." At the mention of 'another personality' she would smile. "Pretty much. So, if I'm ever on an interstellar motorcycle can you ignore me if I break speed limits?"

Jessica Cruz has posed:
Jessica Cruz flinches. "There's no real speeding concerns in space. Just don't crash into anyone and don't call everyone a 'bastich' and we're good. I've actually seen an interstellar motorcycle. The rider was very unpleasant."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would just blink, "Wait, those are an actual thing? Err.." Upon hearing the term 'bastich' she would open her mouth, then close it in a 'I really don't want to know' look. "Welcome to the universe, I guess. It's a really weird one."

Jessica Cruz has posed:
Jessica Cruz shrugs. "I'm under the impression that the vehicle and its rider was one of a kind - which is a good thing - I don't think the world could handle more than that." She shrugs. "He was an ugly bastard anyway." She smiles. "I wish I had a way to return the favor for your assitance during my issue."

Mary Jane Watson would smile, "It's fine. You needed help and you got it. Now you're looking to help other people in your new.. Job?" Do space cops get paid? "Just call it passing it forwards. That's all you need to do."

Jessica Cruz has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods. "Right. I meant - if _you_ ever need me - call me. You have my number now. Also - I would request that you don't spread my identity - it could cause issues in the long run." She smiles softly. "Of course I wouldn't share yours either - the etiquette of the mask, no?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would smile, "I won't. I mean, I just know you as Jessica. YOu just know me as Mary Jane. I think we're both responsible adults enough to just use a burner phone if we really need to."

Jessica Cruz has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods slowly. "Yeah. Good point." She nods slowly, sighing softly. "So - what's good here?" she asks, looking over the menu. "Not really familiar with Latverian cuisine - I normally just stick with pancakes."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Most things. Latverian is very eastern european, so you can't go wrong. Everything's pretty unique here. I come about here a cuople times a month and get something different."
