Cast of Characters: Conner Kent, Rose Wilson

Conner Kent has posed:
Last time Conner took Rose out for a date they watched the play 'Avengers, the Musical' and maybe Rose didn't enjoy a much as he hoped. Loki should have won, she said. Maybe she was just being contrary. She does that. A lot.

Or at least she did. It was before she dated Tim. And they were very serious for several months. Then she has been travelling and probably doing some illegal things. Conner hopes she was just travelling and having fun. After all, he didn't find any red flag in the Outsider computers. He looked often.

Okay, so not a play this time. Just music. Or what passes for music in certain circles. It is a club, and it probably (definitely) doesn't have all the permits up to date. There is underground music, and then there is really underground clubs. This is one of the second. The bands are not famous, and most never will. Punk and Metal, and sometimes both at once. The stage is poorly lit, as it is most of the warehouse. Only the two bar areas have decent lighting. There are places at the sides with tables and old chairs, and some people do business there. Mostly selling illegal or semi-legal drugs. Tattoos and piercings are also available. Nothing too dangerous like MGO, the organizers of the 'event' are not that stupid. There is nothing here that would draw the wrath of Batman or Daredevil.

Most people are here just for the music, though. It is cheaper than the clubs of Metro or New York, and it is all new.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson is definitely one of those here for the music. But yes, she had bene gone for a while. Travel, work, training. There are just so many interesting fighting styles out there to learn, if one can be.. Well, saying she is a quick study puts it lightly.

At least this time Conner didn?t ask if she was packing. Though from the looks of her party wear, it could be entertaining to do a pat down. She lightly brushes a hand across the edge of her skirt, making certain it is down enough to just brush the tops of her stockings. Her chin lifting as she scans the crowd. A glance over to Conner and a grin, "Well, the turn out is good. Have you heard this next band at all?" The hand lifting to tease a tendril of hair down to partially hide the patch.

Conner Kent has posed:
Given the place, Conner is pretty sure Rose is not the only one armed. But he is not here to find pickpockets or pot dealers. He likes the music, and it is not the first time this year he comes to a place like this. He used to do it more often, actually.

Probably Rose dragged him to places like this more than once when they met, five or six years ago. Fresh out of the clone tanks, he was younger and dumber (allegedly).

"I have no idea who they are, it is hard to keep track, they usually last six months..." he grins, the musicians seem early twenties at most. Some are probably teenagers. "Sometimes I see a familiar face, though. But it is too much work to keep track of individuals. Unless they are really good." Not likely here!

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson laughs as she does a slow turn to give the place another once over. She offers out a hand, "Come on . I need a drink at least before the sonic mayhem sets in." She nods towards there the next band to go up is starting to put on their costuming. Spiked dog collars, and stiff shoulder pads. "So not going to give any of them hugs, if I ^can help it."

Conner Kent has posed:
"You are just not the hugging type," teases Conner, following the girl to the bar. Alcohol does nothing to him, but some cocktails are tasty... and they don't have those here. Just a coke for him, thanks.

Music mayhem never stops, but at the bars they can talk without shouting (mostly). "Did you keep track of music?" He gives her a once over. Is that skirt new? He can't remember Rose wearing a skirt in... ever. Jeans and shorts girl. Maybe she has changed a little.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Maybe she has? Or maybe she learned a few other things in her time away. Rose looks over and winks. "Did I keep track of music where?" A small smile playing against her lips as she twitches her hips enough to make the skirt dance as if she knew where you had been looking. "Music in my roving? A bit. Had a player for a bit. It got terminal lead poisoning. Got a discman for a bit. ended up leaving it wrapped around someone." She shrugs and bounces a little to the heavy bass of hte currnt group playing. Not just Conner's eyes are appreciating the antics as she turns towards the barkeep and slaps a twenty down on the counter. "Irish Car Bomb."

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner glances at the bartender. Do they have Irish whiskey and Guinness beer here? Unlikely, but he prepares Rose's cocktail pretty quickly. Probably because she looks hot. "I meant just going to this kind of place," he half-explains. "I think I was in all the clubs of the New York area the first year of college," he had a lot to catchup, that is his excuse. "Not so much nowadays. I actually need to study hard now."

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson ahhs as she keeps an eye on the bartender as this is the sort of place where trafficing can take place. Is she hunting on your date? Putting herself out there as bait to add a little more excitement to the plans? Her head canting slightly as she listens to you over the 'music' being played. "I hit a few clubs, some of them hit back. But no, it was not a club to club to club sort of trip. I was off working the odd job to get me from one place to another to learn the things not often taught to outsiders." She scrunches up her nose, "Besides the looks, it was one thing Dad gave me."

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner peers when she offers some information of what she was doing the past couple years. "Hit clubs or hit-you clubs, hmm?" Well, not this one, although giving how she is looking at the side-shows, she might be looking for trouble. To no one's surprise.

"Don't tell me you are considering a piercing," comments Conner, sipping from his drink. On the stage a band starts again, loud and chaotic. The bassist is pretty good, but the lyrics are hard to understand even with enhanced senses.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson hmmms and arches a brow as if in genuine thought as to that aspect. "A piecing? To go with the ones I already have? Or did you mean me piecing someone else?" She rubs her hands together at the thought as she nibbles at her lower lip. "Well, if you insist. The guy over there looks like he could use a ladder." From her tone, she doesn't probably mean the one you climb up to get something off a high shelf. And a club hitting her, well, she did play for a bit in the fight club last pass through town. Finally she siddles up to lightly bump a hip to your own as she reaches for the cheap beer and probably third rate whiskey that was distilled through someone's prison sock. The shot is dropped into the beer, and she up ends it to drain it in several solid swallows.

Conner Kent has posed:
"I do not insist," replies Conner quickly. "How about some dancing instead of starting something that might get us kicked out way too early?" He asks her with a faint smirk. He half-finish his soda, in the case she accepts. "Otherwise we can make a round and see if someone needs to be kicked out. But actually things are fairly relaxed in this kind of thing, at least lately."

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson laughs as she offers a ahnd as she sets the emptied glasses onto the counter and covers a soft expression of grattitude behind her other hand. "Mmm. Dancing could be fun. Lead onwards then. I think there is a mosh up near the stage. But probably not the type you want right now." She bounces a bit to the beat as she moves along with you.

Conner Kent has posed:
There is most definitely a mosh pit near the stage, and there is a growing crowd filling the space closer to the musicians. Looks like the club will be full tonight and hopefully the cops won't show up to tell everyone to leave. At least before midnight. Maybe never if the bribes were paid correctly. They should have a few hours for just dancing under loud, loud music.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson is not too bad at it either, even if it is club style dancing. Or in a crowd like is starting to form, more of a bounce. She sticks close, almost teasingly so at times, as she brushes lightly against your side in her dancing. Yeah, there are a few tell tale hard places in her outfit at a touch. But who's going to argue with her at the moment. A look of almost joy showing as she jams along with the artists. Can you call underground rock and punk groups artists though?

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner has plenty of practice dancing in crowded clubs or this kind of concerts. Even if the music is not the best, or composed for dancing. Then again, most music is good for dancing, or bouncing, once there are enough people around, and a drink or three also help.

In the Mosh Pit it is more useful to be invulnerable than having superior agility, really. But you can have fun without either, and Conner is clearly enjoying himself, and keeping his eyes on Rose and trying to dance with her, in as much as this kind of activity allows. Maybe he is worried she will punch someone.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Conner is probably more than likely right about Rose hauling off and decking someone in the mosh pit. She doesn't have the invulnerability on her side, after all. But she is probably not likely to cause too much grevious bodily harm as it was a date, and she even wore a skirt.

Rose offers a grin up at Conner as she bounces close. A look of surprise showing on her face for a moment as an almost lost *smack* sound from behind her. Her hand darting down and back before she even manages the yelp of surprise at the slap to her ass. Some might claim she was asking for it, with that outfit. But the guy she has by his attentions may not be saying much for long.

Conner Kent has posed:
Well, fair. Some guys deserve a punch in the face. Although Rose can easily break half the bones of the face with a single punch, so Conner will... try to stop her if she wants to punch the guilty part more than once. Hopefully this guy won't require immediate medical assistance.

In any case, he pulls her close with a hand around her waist, gesturing to the bar. Another drink would be nice, yes? With the sound of the music here, talking is kind of pointless.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson blinks as she gets pulled back and away before she can do more than give his eggs a twist through his jeans. She tips her head back to shift Conner into her line of sight, then glances over towards where he's indicating and lets loose her victim. He may be talking a bit higher pitched for a week or two, but he'll survive. The look she gives him before turning towards the bar, doesn't promise that to stay the truth though.

At the bar, she nestles closer to stave off having to shout and offers, "I didn't shoot him, at least?" So she IS packing in that outfit.

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner grins. Lets call that progress. Wait, has Rose shoot people for this kind of thing before? The death toll might be high...

"Progress!" He teases, once they are some distance from the stage. "I guess he is not going to be able to dance anymore tonight. But that is justice, hmm?" He is also quite relived Rose doesn't seem to be particularly angry. When she gets really angry, it never ends up well.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson offers a snort as she tosses her head back, bumping into your shoulder. "I think he will be off to go lick his wounds for now. Though I should have given good squeeze to remind him of unwanted touches." She frowns and bites her lower lip, muttering to herself, 'No Rose. That is what Dad would do. Be better. Triple tap.. nononono. Breath. Yes.' Then she shudders and lifts her hand to try to get the bartender's attention. "What do you have that is high octane? I just got groped and need to wash away the sensation."

Conner Kent has posed:
What would have her dad done? Some questions are better left unanswered. Conner is happy to see Rose is making an effort to calm down, which he never see her do when she was younger.

"Being an idiot shouldn't be a capital offence," he offers. "And maybe he has learned a lesson and not do that again," here is hoping. "I am sorry, you seemed to be having quite a bit of fun. It is good to see you relaxing."

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson makes a face at that. "I was having fun. The beat was good. The company better." She shakes her head, causing her hair to whip a little. "And we can hope, but if he keeps that up. Someone's boyfriend is going to end him." She lifts her hand to look at it and makes a face at it as well. "To think I touched his junk. Was certainly ill equipped for what he was trying." A mischievious look showing for a moment before she thinks better of it and just reaches for a mostly-dry napkin off the bar. "What about you? Having fun with more than watching me bounce in this outfit and trying to figure out what all I have in here with me?"

Conner Kent has posed:
Conner smiles again, asking for a soda when the bartender brings Rose her drink. "We can get back in a minute," he notes. "I am having fun, of course. You are good at... dancing. You look good in that outfit, but you look good in most anything. No comment about what you are carrying, if that makes you feel safer, good. As for the rest: yes to everything." He winks an eye.

What is everything? That is for her to decide. It is not their first date. Just the first in two years.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson seems to be one for long, long, long term game. She wrinkles her nose at the wink. "You just want to see if the carpets match the drapes, hmm. Sorry, I'm hardwoods."

Conner Kent has posed:
It is a good thing Conner had not asked for a drink this time, it is the kind of comment Rose would have timed so he chocked on it. "Er..." maybe too much information? Nah. "I see I will forever wonder that particular mystery." He manages a new smirk, "some things never change. Up for more dancing?"

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson offers a fleeting grin of achievement as she nods back towards the dancing. then reaches back to toss back the rest of her own drink as if it were water. But is being an underground club, it probably is well watered down. "It may remain a mystery for a while yet, yes. And yes. Bounce like a bunny. Or Megahn's happy thoughts."
