Roberto da Costa has posed:
It is a breezy but not too cold day in this mutant centric. Roberto walks up the sidewalk towards Sam carrying a bag of greasy goodness. You know what it has to be, empanadas. The ones from the good place on 46th, getting them here means he probably flew but the fries are so much better hot. Berto has a few sodas and some condiments in another bag and he sets down at a nearby bench. The park he asked to meet is actually pretty big as neighborhoodparks go and while a tad overgrown it isn't badly tended. Berto sets up a little picnic and motions you over, "Sam! Come eat. Thanks for meeting me. I always prefer to have someone along when I look at property. Not that there's a lack of selection here."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods to the other young man, and had work earlier, the only sign of his earlier work is the silver chain necklace going under his shirt. He walks over towards him "No problem, always good to hang out, what we looking for today?" He will ask his friend, as he takes a seat opposite of Berto.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa hands Sam a beef empanada already munching on one himself. He talks around a mouthful of food. "Good question! Ideally something likea clinic dowstairs with office and support space upstairs. Maybe some living space if we can get it. I'm still figuring everything out. We need space to evaluaye snd deal with emergent mutants, but then also space for life and job training." Roberto considers, something large and unfinished might be best."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods and says "There is a building a few blocks over, you might want to look at, there was a guy trying to start up a mutant employment agency, but something fell through Ah think. Ah met him a few times, when Ah was on the beat around there. Ah try to make sure there guys patrolling Bushwick are decent, luckily my chief helps make sure it also.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa nods easily, "Well, it helps having one of the most decent people I know as the template." Berto smiles, then considers, "It might be nice to meet your chief sometime... is bringing donuts frowned upon? I mean, I love donuts." Roberto eats heartily, sharing generously, "That close? We should definitely check it out. Employment is going to be one of our pillars but it's a multi-pronged approach. Refining the idea Jim came up." Roberto smiles.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Ah think she would be ok with it, Ah actually let her know Ah have powers in case Ah need to use them, but most of the force don't know about it. Have used them fighting one cheesy villain called himself Big Wheel or something like that." He tells the other man. He is eating as well. You talked to the folks around here see what they might want?"

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa nods, "It's similar with D.I. My powers are an open secret." Rob blinks and stops eatting to stare at Sam, then he laughs, "You and your radical ideas Sam, getting input from those we're trying to help?" He nods, "I can schedule something, reach out to community organizers and the neighbors. Could be why the last guy bottomed out. It's a good idea. Big wheel? Was he a big deal?" He grins.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "A large mechanical wheel, but when Ah knocked it on the side, he was sorta SOL." He admits. He nods a bit in thought and says "Not sure what fell through with him to be honest." He tells his friend. "You plan on getting a place in town for when your working out here?"

Roberto da Costa laughs, "That's our KFC, he really needs a better strategy or any strategy. Roberto nods, "Considering, the commute isn't horrendous, but I do love a waterview. I might have a better idea once meeting with the locals. Maybe putting in affordable housing? We can see what direction things take."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "There are some in the area, guy who seems to be working on some of the buildings seems to be trying to help the area, Ah aint met him though." He admits to the other man and says "I tried a few things before just going with the whole knock him over."

Roberto da Costa nods and you know that he's making a noteon the mental allies and list he keeps in his head. "Be worth seeing if we can help him. Not to take it over or re-direct, just assist and support in whatever way we can maybe vet him just in case." Roberto smiles and runs his hand through his hair. "Yeah, I've been debating getting combat certifed, it's embarassing to have been on the training squad this long." He smiles, "So etimes the eadiestanswers are the best."
