Diana Prince has posed:
A quiet evening in NYC. The coffee shop is lit up on the outside with white Christmas lighting, and the city itself has that flavor to it up and down the streets.

Inside the warm Coffee Bean shop, Diana sits at one of the middle tables, a taller table, with a book laying on the table in front of her. Her eyes are covered by a pair of dark framed reading glasses, even if the lenses are entirely 'for show'. She has her hands wrapped around a cup of coffee, or hot tea, and is raising it up for a sip.

Dressed casually, she mostly just looks like any other random customer to this place, even if she stands out naturally amongst most crowds. Her dark hair is tied back in a loose ponytail, she's wearing a white sweater, and a pair of dark slacks and boots that disappear up inside them.

The Coffee Bean is not too busy at the moment, being that its dark outside, but since its right across the way from the Themysciran Embassy, Diana is a regular presence here, even so much as to have pictures and Wonder Woman nick-nacks gathered around the shelves and hanging on the walls here and there throughout the place. She's a 'regular' and well regarded here.

Hercules has posed:
November yet lingers in the doorway of the year and already it is forgotten by all the most observant few that have not turned their eyes towards the yule tide and the new year beyond that. Still, there is one wicked soul that is not so eager to allow one season pass quietly into the next. A soul filled...

    With Anger.

The bell over the door jangles and in steps a creature of Autumnal Vengence. Half man, Half Turkey. This thing born of science, and a n over abundance of Fall fealty casts a baleful glower upon all in attendance. His gaze moves with sudden jerks and fowl head bobbing. "Gblblblb, FOOLS!" he crows stretching wings wide to block the foremost exit as he declares his war.

"You have forsaken the spirit of the season and in doing so have invited your doom! Woe unto ye for the harvest is come and its bounty is your lives! Surrender now to I, the Grim Gobbler and your end will come swiftly!" came the cackling monologue to the shocked customers and baristas alike. It is a mix of confusion, fear... and pity.

Diana Prince has posed:
Never a dull moment in Diana's life, as much as she might try and seek them out...

When the unusual presence appears in the doorway to the coffee shop, everyone... of course... is looking up to bare witness unto the display.

Including Diana. She stares with equal confusion to that of everyone else, before she casts a look around AT 'everyone else', and then rises from her chair. She closes her book. She sets her glasses down on the table, and then reaches for her jacket on the back of her chair.

A coiled-up length of golden twine is now held in her hand as she crosses her arms over her stomach and starts to walk upon the granite stone floor. "Hello." Diana says to the newly arrived... thing.

"This is a public coffee shop, and we ask that you not cause any public disturbances..." She tells him in her naturally smoky-hued voice, laced with that foreign Themysciran accent.

Hercules has posed:
The fowl fiend (not the last time I will use that pun) cackled, waddle jiggling with absolute malice as he crowed his wicked mirth. That glee came to a sudden, abrupt halt when he looked to the woman so brave as to speak in the presence of Fall's fell avatar! "Who Da-" he was about to challenge her audacity when he spied the looped lariat in her hand. It stopped him cold. His eyes bulged in disbelief at first... And then his attention jerked. A autographed picture... with her upon it. More pictures, group shots, merchendise, tchotchkes, memorabilia. A moment of dawning, daunted horror weighed in on shoulders of the Bird Blunder.

"Gblblb..."

"Aye, t'would be a wise choice to heed her words, my fine, feathered foe!" came a booming bit of advice from the exact opposite side of the shop. A news paper was folded and placed upon the table revealing a rather burly figure. He wore a nice, brown suit over a rich, green button up shirt. "For while she doth offer you the olive branch now, know that she is equally capable of bludgeoning you with it!" He grind, broad and boisterous.

"Gblblb..." puzzled the Gobbler, boggling visibly at the man, "Who are you?!" the Bird-Beast demanded.

In answer, the figure removed his sun glasses... The confusion remained upon the bird's features. The enthusiasm drained slightly from the man across the way.

Somewhat perturbed, Reached one hand to his shoulder and the other to his waist and pulled, revealing-

    HERCULES
    PRINCE OF POWER!

Diana Prince has posed:
With this all going down amongst the rest of the patrons of the Coffee Bean store, there's a silent worry that a 'super hero fight' might be about to break out. Of course this means some are recording it with their phones too, because it's 2022 afterall.

As Hercules reveals himself, Diana looks over to him, recognizing him immediately... of course... she tilts her head ever-so-slightly before she looks back to 'the Gobbler' and just waits for him to make his choice.

Behind the counter, the two barristas on duty tonight are both in their late teens, and both just standing there slack jawed at what is happening in their place of employment. The teenage girl nudges the teenage boy beside her, and he shakes himself to life again. He steps up to the counter with a nervous twitch about his motions. "Uh, can... can we get you something, to drink?" He asks the strange 'thing' in the doorway.

Diana regards the boy, then looks back to the 'Gobbler' again. "Make your choice, for as to what you would wish to do here. But... might I suggest simply going on about your day, and letting go of whatever 'ideas' you might have had?"

She does spare another glance toward her relative in Hercules too.

Hercules has posed:
Hercules all but shines across the way. The avatar of Machismo and Bravado as much as he is the God of Strength. He stands, fists raised up just there near his hips, shoulders squared, feet set wide. His expression of eager determination splits for just a moment into a broad smile, perhaps a bit too bright to be entirely unforced. He waves excitedly and then drops back into 'Battle-Mode'

The Grim Gobbler, all feathers and faltering ferocity looks between the Leaguer and the Olympian Roust About and tries to swallow that lump in his elongated neck.

"Gbllblb... I... I had not expected to meet such... such considerable resistance." he professed abashedly. "A Spider Man perhaps, maybe a Daring Devil... but my luck truly has waned as Autumn wanes... I had hoped that I would not be so pressed as to resort to this tom foolery but my situation is dire."

A clawed hand reaches into the tatters of a lab coat and with draw... something... Quite small. It is clasped between foreclaw and thumb. Old, a few hundred years at least. Bone, shaped vaguely like a horse shoe- Oh no...

Holding it aloft he presents it for all to see!

"BEHOLD, THE WISH BONE OF THE FIRST THANKSGIVING TURKEY! THE SAINTED SOUL THAT GAVE IT'S LIFE TO FORGE OUR NATION!" he crowed as he brought it down and took hold of it's other end. "And within this reliquary resides the strength of every turkey that has given it's life on that fateful day. OH HUMBLE SPIRITS, GRANT ME THE STRENGTH-!" he begins...

Magic, it surges. A weight against the chest that presses in and makes it just that much more difficult to breath.

The beastly man pulls at either end of the fragile seeming bone, straining! Sweat beads upon his bumpy brow ad his effort builds.

Diana Prince has posed:
As the turkey man starts to declare some kind of intention here, the door to the place opens up and a family of four stand there. They watch the turkey man from behind, until the dad starts to close the door again. "Lets try the Coffee Crate down the street." He can be heard saying to his family, the little boy amongst the group shouting something about how he wanted to stay here! But soon they are off, on down the block.

Back inside, Diana just affords one look to Hercules, then another back to the Gobbler. She watches him as he starts to try and crack that wishbone.

A second later, having seen enough of this, the golden rope of Hestia flares to life. Bright. Brilliant. Beautiful. The divine twine swirls through the air and wraps around the Gobbler's forearms!

Diana holds the other end of the rope, and clenches it as it glows brightly in her grasp, and extends over to the would-be-villain(?)

"Enough." The Princess says. "You have disturbed the peace here enough already. Go now, or I will let the powerful man glaring at you, find out just how durable you actually are." The Princess of Themyscira warns one last time, suggesting that if the Turkey-thing doesn't choose to leave, well... Hercules is clear to do what Hercules' do...

Hercules has posed:
The Gobbler strained with his proportional Turkey-strength but the bone refused to yield, only flexing slightly despite it's brittle appearence! Determination gave way to panic and once panic had grown bored, desperation. "Break, gblblb, Break!" he seethed even as the golden length fell over him and drew tight, binding his arms to his side!

His eyes are wide with fear and the aforementioned desperation. "W'why?!" he demanded of the world at large. It was not the baleful eyes of a fowl fiend that turned to Diana but an all too mortal and broken man. "E'ever since before this land was free, we-!" he was about to begin but her firm mercy did not seem to welcome another villainous monologue. His jaw was slack, his shoulders fallen. He looked to Hercules and found the Olympian grinding a fist into an open palm. The popping of his knuckles was noth unlike the distant rumble of a storm.... Well, it was, but poetic license.

"I... I yield... I just don't understand." he relented as he slumped to his feathered knees

Diana Prince has posed:
The coffee shop remains in confusion even after the Gobbler yields and slumps down to the ground. Diana approaches him with the lasso taught as she draws more and more of it in until she's standing before him, standing above him. She looks down at him then and shakes her head softly. "I know." She quietly tells the confused Turkey-man.

"We will get you assistance. We will try to find help for you." She tells him then before motioning for him to stand up.

As people begin to applaud around the store, Diana speaks in to a comm and asks for someone to come to the Coffee Bean from somewhere.

She looks over to Hercules then and smiles at him before she escorts the Gobbler outside. "Come along. I will see to it that you are taken to a safe place at the Hall of Justice. There, we will find you the assistance that you need to help you get beyond whatever brought this on tonight."

Was it Turkey revenge? If so, part of Diana could understand that...

Outside, the Invisible Jet just 'appears' out of no where, fading in above the street, the sleek-lined alien-styled jet takes up a good portion of the street, with lots of people stopping to take pictures, video, and just generally gawk at a massive cloud-hued starship / jet plane hovering silently above the street.

Two armored Amazons appear from a lowering ramp and they join Diana on the side of the street, taking the Turkey-Gobbler-Man in to Amazon custody... so it seems!

Hercules has posed:
The vengeful that burned in the furnace of his heart was doused, its flame irrepairably quenched. He rose as she guided him, a body devoid of spirit but still yet retaining it's heart beat. His claws went limp, unclenching from the first wishbone and letting it tumble to the doormat infront of the door.

Diana's mercy enshrouded him like the wing of a great bird shielding its hatchlings from the terrors of the sun and world. It was his only solace and comfort in this moment. When she spoke to him, explained his fate, he faintly "gblbl"ed, a sound devoid of its earlier conviction, now only offering... acceptance. He had not even enough fire in him to lift his gaze and ogle his escorts as he was secreted away by the Amazons.

Inside, Hercules offers a rueful smile to his... fists. "Another day of rest, dear friends." he apologizes to them as he lowers those ham-sized mits.

Looking down past his hands, Hercules spies the cast-off bone. His brows furrow, eyebrows like a pair of concerned caterpillers scootching together to share their worries. He stooped and collected it before joining Diana in the cool evening air.

"This nations is young yet still it harbors-" Hercules began to pontificate on the powers of Myth and the beliefs that gave them their own power. But with but a glance to Diana as he watched The Gobbler's back vanish into the Invisible Jet, he realized that she is not someone even he could preach of Legends to.

His mouth hung open, a breath drawn to form further words... only to be loosed in an idle, hapless breath. He shifted, uncomfortable, clearing his throat into his closed fist before he extended the Wishbone to her, his forefinger and thumb clutching one of it's limbs. "Perhaps... this... for whatever it is, would be safer in your keeping than mine." he offered.

Diana Prince has posed:
In the sky over the city street the 'Visible Jet' lifts up in to the air and silently floats off in to the sky, with people continuing to take photos and video of it as it goes. The Princess watches, then coils her lasso up, and folds her arms over her stomach again before Hercules joines her at her side.

She looks over to him, then down at the wishbone, it makes her show a soft smile as she reaches out and simply takes the other half, pulling on it to snap it in half. She makes a wish.

"I think we are safe now." She quietly says back to him, before cracking a grin to the man. "It is good to see you. You were hiding in that corner well." She chides the man then before reaching out to pat him on his shoulder closest to her. "Have you seen that... man before?" She asks, of the Gobbler. "That was certainly a new one to me." She grins further, turning toward the Coffee shop again to head back inside. "Come, I will get us some fresh drinks."
