Date of Scene: 01 December 2022
Location: New York Harbor Docks
Synopsis: BUnny Macleod (of Clan Macleod, just not that one) is watching ships (some shipping ships, but not ships shipping ships) and getgs interrupted by Silk. SIlk has a spot of fun at Bunny's expense.

They never do figure out where a human would store webbing, if they could make their own.

Cast of Characters: Bunny Macleod, Cindy Moon

Bunny Macleod has posed:
The docks aren't a place you generally want to be at night. It's still busy with ships coming in and going out, th rivers are still a source of travel, and tonight, there was a young woman on a mission of recon.

It was her job to not be spotted or caught by security, so Bunny MacLeod (of Clan McLeod, just not THAT Clan MacLeod) had her usually bright pink hair tucked under a dark gray beanie, wearing a black sweatshirt turned inside-out to hide the logo on the back, and a pair of dark gray washed jeans. She was currently watching the ships come in and go out.

Cindy Moon has posed:
"Hi," says Silk, probably louder than one should while greeting someone.

She's in her costume, descending from a single thread of webbing and dangling upside down alongside the Bunny. The bottom half of her face is covered, leaving only her dark hair and eyes visible. She hangs from the web by her legs, leaving her hands free to take a photo of the boats with her smartphone.

"Nice spot. Unless you're on the look out for villains, in which case I may have just blown up said spot."

A moment of silence.

"Or are you a villain? You have to tell me if you are."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Bunny jumps and nearly yelps as Silk descends, and she manages to just barely keep her cool as she turns to regard the webslinger. She looks down at her face, and then up at her strand of web, and then back to the whole package, and the teenager who was at the edge of ne'er-do-well looks almost insulted at the idea that she was a villain.

"Girl that's like askin' a cop if they're a cop. They don't actually have to tell you they're cops!"

Cindy Moon has posed:
"I'm pretty sure they do," Silk offers in a sing-song voice, "But you seem okay. I can't see any powered gauntlets or stuff like that."

She turns her head slowly out towards the ships.

"Wait, are we just watching ships? I can get down with that."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"They don't. I asked the cop who was arresting my brother after he asked if he was a cop." Bunny replies, and she settles back where she was sitting.

"Well. I WAS tasked with not bein' found, but friggin' failed that one. I'll have to try to not be found tomorrow night." she mutters, crossing her arms sullenly.

Cindy Moon has posed:
"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. You weren't found. I wasn't looking for you and I don't know who you are. So, if you don't tell me who you are then I can't find you."

Silk looks proud of herself for a moment, muttering: "Who needs high school ... "

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"Apparently the both of us, because that shouldn't make sense but it weirdly does. So if neither of us know each other, we can't be found or seeked. Sought. Seeking? English sucks but it's the only language I know." she lies.

Cindy Moon has posed:
"I speak a little Korean, but mostly enough to understand: <Cindy! Stop wasting your time with hockey! If you don't make pre-med I will never forgive you!>"

The latter part is spoken in heavily American-accented Korean, so not immediately understandable.

"But yes, let us consider one another unfound and hidden."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"BEtter than me. I only speak Bad English." The girl replies in her exagerated Brooklyn brouge, and then looks back over the ships as she crosses her arms.

    "I guess you're not a Spider-Man though. Woulda thought you'd be taller."

Cindy Moon has posed:
"I'm not Spider-Man, no," Silk says with a shake of her head, "He's a dork. If you ever meet him, he's gonna just babble on and make pop culture references. I find it's best to smile and nod."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"Dunno, sounds like he'd be fun to talk to at least. Better than watching a buncha ships roll in and out on the river, though it's relaxin', it's still kinda boring." Bunny replies as she looks over at Silk, and then cracks a little smile. "He probably also doesn't know Korean."

Cindy Moon has posed:
"He probably knows enough," Silk admits, still dangling upside down with apparently no side effects, "He's that kind of guy. Anyway, do you want to ... y'know ... be left alone to your ship watching?"

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"I wouldn't know the difference if he did or didn't. My extent of Korean is 'Kimchee'." Bunny replies, pursing her lips a moment before rubbing the back of her head. "I mean, I wasn't really watching the ships. Just tryin' to not be found. SHips gonna ship." she states, motioning out.

Cindy Moon has posed:
"They really are gonna ship, aren't they?"

There's a long, uncomfortably long, period of silence as Silk just dangles there staring out at the ships.

"I also make my own webs."

Another beat.

"I mean, he has, like, a thing he shoots them with. But I just make them myself. I'm not sure where. Somewhere in my arm, I think. Where do humans store their webs?"

Bunny Macleod has posed:
". . . you're jokin', right? Spider-Man has little web-slingies in his costume and humans don't store their own webs... we ah... we don't make webs? I guess unless they got web-slingie-thingies?" she purses her lips a moment.

    "THat is incredibly weird."

Cindy Moon has posed:
"I mean, I know we don't store webs. I'm a human, too, y'know. I was born in Washington Heights. I just mean, like, if we stored webs, I wonder where we would store them."

There's a pause, and then out of nowhere she fires a small burst of web that splatters on Bunny's sleeve. It doesn't stick her to anything, just a little patch of silk.

"Gotcha."

Bunny Macleod has posed:
"Probably either at our mouths or butts, 'cause the whole 'path of least resis-HEY!" she protests as she gets a web splatter. She pause, she looks at it, and then theatrically, Bunny puts her hand to her chest.

"Oh... oh no... webbing... my one... weakness..." she tiltgs over, and sprawls onto her side.

"Tell Mama... I love her... tell Smokey... ta go to Hell." she whispers, and then 'dies', laying face-down on the tar of the building.

Cindy Moon has posed:
Silk hangs there, looking at the 'dead' Bunny in silence. A long moment passes as she wordlessly considers what just happened. She stares. Could she have done it? Could she really have killed? What's going to happen now? Is Silk a murderer? What troubles lie ahead?

After a second, she fires another burst of web at Bunny's butt. Splat.

Then she ascends on her web, disappearing into the night.

Bunny Macleod has posed:
Silk amscrays, and the 'dead' Bunny grumbles about web on her pants, and then hops up, and begins to roof run to another building so she can get down.

Tonight was only a partial failure.
