Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa is standing outside the offices of X-Corporation on this chilly December morning. He isn't precisely dressed for the weather. Wearing a black suit, with black tie and shoes and a yellow shirt, the same yellow color of the X-Men's epononymous training outfits the bumblebees. He is sipping coffee and holding another as he smiles and nods chatting briefly with those who walk past. He seems to know most of them and is making an effort to be friendly and open, it's his demeanor, his body language, even his word choice. "Good morning Mrs Arboghast. Has your Christmas cactus bloomed?", "Mr. Johnson, I have your paperwork and am following up with the hiring manager today you should here about that job by Monday. I'm sorry it's taking so long.", "Rajesh, inside go to the counter talk to Margery she has your keys and I hope you like the new place.", "Ardenia, I am following up today with the owner and will have some news about that dance club idea by next week." But mainly he is waiting for someone and taking in the crisp winter sunshine, his body drinking it up.

Kurt Wagner has posed:
    ---BAMF!---

The sudden, slightly explosive sound of air being displaced by a mutant's teleportation is somewhat more distant. A few moments later, a street-dressed, blue, furry mutant comes from an alleyway, hood up over his head. His subtly glowing, yellow eyes glance at the crowd around as he makes sure not to get in anybody's way. Still, it's easier to get along as a Mutant in Mutanttown than it would be for most other places for non-mutants. Pulling his hood down, if just for politeness, he smiles and raises a hand. "Guten tag, Roberto!"

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa smiles brightly as the Blue furred mutant emerges from the crowd, "Kurt, it's good to see you. I've been wanting to show what we've been up to. Give me a moment." Roberto's upbringing was in many ways as Catholic as Rahne's though in a more diverse and inclusive society but the respect for clergy has always been there and as such Roberto has always had a great deal of respect for Kurt and his strong beliefs even if Berto is more of a Christmas and Easter Christian these days the habits of our youth continue to shape us. He turns to the few people waiting to chat, and deals with them efficiently and turns to the rest, "If you go inside. They can help you." Berto offers the coffeee to Kurt. "We have been trying to help out where we can, housing, jobs training. Making a difference in people's lives in ways that don't involve punching bad guys." He offers with a shrug and a dry chuckle.

Kurt Wagner has posed:
Kurt nods. "A noble goal!" he says, accepting the coffee. "Most problems are better solved by loving our enemies," he points out. "Non-violence has my endorsement--" He quickly adds, "Assuming you're not messing with people's free will."

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa laughs, "No, messing with free will is not in my power set. But let me show you around. I've been hoping to get your feedback about some of our ideas." Berto does the Vanna reveal, "This is our flagship branch. Here is the headquarters for our efforts, it provides job training for mutants, helps them find housing and jobs. We also provide counseling for mutants and parents dealing with mutant children. The clinic provides support for more unique conditions. Helping those with more unique mutations live as normal a life as possible."

Kurt Wagner has posed:
"Oh?" Kurt says with a smile. "I'd love to meet some of them. We are all God's children, ja?" He nods. "I am glad there is a place they can feel accepted."

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa smiles and nods, "I can arrange that, absolutely." It's a short walk for most of the project sites are within a couple of blocks, it seems the efforts have been localized but are slowly branching out. "We're putting in affrodable housing for families and individuals, also trying to mitigate the effect of the slumlords buying them out where we can, keeping them honest where we can't. This is a collection of artist's lofts, each has an adjacent studio space. We found that mutants are drawn to artistic pursuits at a higher percentage than standard humanity, so we wanted to engage that. We also have lab spaces for rent for those or a more technical bent. We're in the process of working with the school system and the police to upgrade facilities and provide training for both the teacher and officers as well as the students and citizens. We just want everyone on the same page to avoid misunderstandings. Sam's been helping with that." Berto smiles, of course he has because where you find one you invariably find the other. Berto nods, solemnly, "Indeed we are my friend." Berto leads the way into a small structure. The waiting room is full but not to over flowing and the treatment areas are arranged with the sort of efficiency that some might call cluttered. A Doctor a few nurses and too Physician's assitants, two of the nurses and one of the PAs are visibly mutants as are most of the patients, "Fridays are scheduled treatment days. We have mutants who require some sort of medical intervention come in for treatment. A few of the mutants are hooked up to machines regulating bodysuits, one has a green glowing IV. They are two kids playing obvious mutant children whose parents are mainstream humans. The parents watch the goings ons with wide eyes.
