Cast of Characters: Franklin Richards, Barbara Gordon

Franklin Richards has posed:
It is night in Old Gotham the streets open as the traffic was light, the alleys dark as with a lot of things in Old Gotham its light broken long ago. Except one particular alley this particular night, where a deal was going down, though it was just the standard van full of weapons the amount of people there was only a few. The drivers of both cars, the dealer, and the buyer. Or at least that was it as stumbling into the middle of this deal comes Franklin. Franklin looks like he usually does head to toe in Fantastic Four Merc. The blue, and black hat under the blue, and black hoodie. This patter continues all the way to the soes with fours on them, though thankfull his fantastic four socks are hidded.

The buyer is just about to grab the money for the purchase, as he looks over to his side, Franklin getting just too close in his approach, with a "Who's That" in a very agressive tone. He draws a pistol to point at Franklin he doesn't pull the trigger yet as this was Gotham, if you killed the Bats would get you for sure so he just pointed it at the young adult.. "Hey.. I said who are you?"

Now the seller is getting upset, as he thought Franklin was with him not really even noticing the person at first even though he sould of been in his eyesight. Though all Franklin does is smile at the man yelling at him, and says "Boop" as he puts a finger of the barrel of the buyers gun. Thankfully other man is just stunned.. Not sure what to do, though the choice is taken away from him as the pistol seems to just fall apart into pieces.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
The word on the street is that the drug deal was going down. A contact of a contact sent a message, and it ended up coming through the Oracle A.I. system to Batgirl. It was rated high as being likely to be sound, and accurate, thus the Batgirl was already on the site when the young man just came strutting in.

She's already there, up above the 'deal' watching the two parties participate in it, recording them, gathering information on all their faces, keeping record of the whole thing before she'd intervene...

But then a young hero does that for her? Ugh. Huge ugh.

Batgirl issues a command to her swarm of Bat-drones, and from the sky before the criminals' vehicles comes a wave of darkness. A cloud of buzzing 'bats' that sweep down out from above, many of them peppering the ground in front of the van with tire puncturing metal spike clusters that clattering off the wet pavement!

Over head of all those down amongst the deal, including Franklin now, the Bat-drones whiz by! Their propulsion systems make them buzz eeriely, and each one releases screaching sounds to further add unsettling ambience to what is happening...

Batgirl then drops from the sky to land atop the van, her black and dark gold cape swirling around her form as she stares down at the dealers, the buyers, and the young Fantastic Four kid.

Franklin Richards has posed:
On the ground its chaos, as though it was way too late other then shooting at Franklin the seller shoots up not really seeing what was up there, just shooting as the bat swarm was everywhere not even noticing her on the van as he is worried about the screeching things. The driver of the van stunned as not only are his tires flat, but the windows broken so is just cowering not even thinking about starting the engine, and the buyer now without a gun is looking back at the car that brought them here.

It is with good reason as the person in the car has hit reverse the flat tires sparking as he guns it, though Barbara could see he was only going to hit one of thos burnt out light posts being dark he has no idea. Finally Franklin is standing in the middle of it as he see's the bats.. "Okay that is kind of cool." he says to himself as everything goes on around him. He doesn't move as maybe they can only see movement, and chuckles to himself. He doesn't seem to enjoy the sound of course, but the whole thing was rather a feat of science so he found it interesting. Then she landed he looked up at.. he stopped and had to think about it as it had been a while so for now he just waved hello pointing at the car. He figured he has helped enough as he knew Damian didn't like getting interupted as he was beating up the bad guys,

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Batgirl is on the van as it tries to frantically drive backward, only to collide with a obstacle in the way. It's only a second later that the driver's side window is suddenly smashed inward by Batgirl's right hand. She grabs hold of the Van's driver and pulls him out, tossing him on the ground before throwing a gas pellet down upon him that explodes with a cloud of sleeping gas, right in his terrified face!

She marches back across the van's roof then, her cape, and red hair, flowing out behind her as the Bat-drones swirl around in the air, moving in multiple layers, creating a swirling of black bat-shaped objects flying around one another in a near-figure-8 pattern.

The man with the gun is given a surprise when his weapon is knocked out of his hand by a Batarang, and Batgirl drops down beside him, only to leap right back up a second later, delivering a hard armored knee to the man's sternum! He too is hit with a sleeping agent that bursts out of the pellets that she throws down around the sides of his face, whatever gasping breaths he might take now are filled with a agent that will put him right under into a blissfully terrified slumber...

It is then that Batgirl turns around and see Franklin just greeting her like no big deal. She doesn't respond, she just stalks forward toward the van's interior to rip the doors open with metal bending strength coming from her suit's powered armor... With the doors open, Batgirl peers inside it....

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin thinks she just 'saved' him... should he clap, though the look she gave him made him throw away that idea quickly. "Hey.. umm... I was looking for Robin." he takes of his hat, and hoodie.. "Franklin RiChards..." as she is already stalking towards the other side of the van The tone drops as there are more important things. He moves towards her a bit to watch as she rips the door right open.

"Wow I see why he wants the suit now." thinking about the thing Damian showed him. It made him wonder just how bad had Gotham got though he shook his head.

The guns and a small locked safe inside of the van, if as predicted that could be where the drugs were at. as Franklin smiles, "I will say very efficent. One can see you have been doing this for a while" as he looks down at one of the people. He pats him down looking for some sort of id on the buyer. He wondered if this guy had a wife a kid that would now not see him because of his actions frowning a bit Frankli just tosses it back down on the unconsious man.

"Oh.. Btw I could open that for you." Now right behind the opened doors as he floats just a little bit over the ground so is why someone would not hear his footprints though he doesn't do anything waiting to see if needed.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
The eyelits of Batgirl's cowl are covered over as she's using her scanning system to take in various elements of the Van's interior. She hears the chatter coming from Franklin, but doesn't reply to him. She just continues her scan before she raises her left hand up. A holographic wrist-mounted computer system comes online, casting a blue-white glow across her form as she stares at it, tapping something on the computer's interface with her right gloved hand.

She still doesn't reply to Franklin. She just continues her work. It's an electronic safe, and with a audible click it unlocks, and the door near-silently sweeps open.

Batgirl peers inside before she reaches out to close the door on it again. "The Gotham Police Department are on their way." Batgirl finally says, her feminine voice only slightly altered by some suit-feature. She turns around to face him now, her green eyes are now visible as the eyelits had retracted again in to her mask. She just eyes Franklin over for a moment. "What's your name?" She asks him. "You're going to get yourself hurt doing this kind of thing." She states, that voice manipulator making her tone just a little more creepy than it likely normally would be.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin is good at chatter, as he could even keep up with the flash when he really got going so he would be carrying on until the lock open and Franklin chuckles a bit at that. "You know that is some actually good stuff, but you might want to talk to my sister, her decryuption.." he stops as she actually talks to him the job done though Franklin sighs a bit. "You weren't listening to any of it were you... Fine I will give you the short version.. Excuse me."

As he reaches in and touches the safe. "My name is Franklin Richards.." then the safe turns to sand and falls covering the wraped drugs inside with sand but just leaving them untoched as it was just the safe that changed. "And this is just a parlor trick do not worry I will be okay... I am looking for some help with Robin. It isn't serious but I don't know who knows him better then you guys so here I am."

He looked around as it was rather hard to find a Bat, and he could try to pry to find others, but that would only make them close off more so would get him no-where. He had talked to Phobe, but he didn't think about asking her she lived there so wasn't sure it wouldn't get back to Damian. He smiles at the Bat, and takes a step back holding his hands up as if in surrender. "That is all I don't do the whole hidden agenda thing that is my sisters thing" and chuckles again.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"I know who you are." Batgirl replies, her voice modulator still making her feminine tone sound slightly more demonic in nature. "You're the son of Reed Richards and Susan Storm. They're very wealthy, and you'd thusly have a serious kidnapping target on your back here in Gotham. I highly recommend you do not engage in this sort of thing..." She trails off for a moment.

Turning to her right, Batgirl steps over to the gun on the ground, she steps on it with her right golden-hued boot, crushing it to pieces before she crouches beside the unconscious man. She zipties his legs together with a well-practiced, and graceful, motion of her hands and arms. The man's wrists are bound there-after. "That trick with the sand is impressive, and I'm sure you can do quite a lot. But Gotham is not to be treated lightly." She warns as she stands back up to her full height again, roughly around the same as his own. "If you need to speak with Robin, I can put you in contact with him." She finally says before she turns to walk toward the driver who is laying in a pile of trash on the side of the alley.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin nods, "It is sort of ironic as that is what I wanted to talk to you about..." he steps back picking up one of the spikes that didn't bounce into the tire to look at it. "See your right, I am a seriours target, but not because I am rich." he sighs dropping the spike as it bounces and sticks into the side of the tire as it was ment to. "Robin... is my friend, and I want to hang out as friends, but I am afraid... well for him." he nods a bit. "If it isn't some god killing hitman, or Doom himself flying down after me... well.." he shrugs again.

He stops thinking about it as he knew if he went on too long she might tone him out again so he considers, "If I get hauled into space again, and he is with me I am afraid he would not make it." thinking of an example. "But he is so kind to me I do not know how to tell him this, so I just ignore." he shrugs, "I am not good with not being honest.. so I was thinking maybe there was an easy way to break it to him?"

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"Stop looking for easy solutions to problems, when hard solutions are right there, and still doable." Batgirl replies as she goes about repeating the process of zip-tying the driver up.

In the distance the whail of Police sirens can be heard, but they are still a ways out.

Batgirl starts to rise up again, her cape once more swaying around her form as she does-so. She turns to look at him then, silently staring at him to soak in some of the possible responses she could give, or to take in his general visage a little more.

"If he is your friend, he should be given the truth of how you feel, and if he gets angry at you for that, then he was never really your friend to begin with." She then says in that gravvely voice as she now moves to the Van's cab to open one of the doors and look inside.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin sighs, and nods "Wow you all are so dark.." he shakes his head at her with a chuckle. "Your right, and perhaps I am overthinking it, but if something happened to a friend... because of me." he shakes his head. "I will have a very hard decision infront of me." he considers as he isn't sure what he would do. He knew what he could do, and what he should do, but he doesn't know if he could live with that. With a sigh he nods, "I guess you are right of course I should tell him, but man if he gets angry.... well I don't have many friends." he chuckles a bit at that one. "And before you say it... no it isn't because I talk to much," though he grins at that.

Mo he didn't have many friends because not only would they be in risk, but most people once they realised what he could really do would freak out. Is this real, is any of it real, what is my future, how bout Loto numbers, the questions. He sighs a bit, though nods again.

Finally he shakes out of it, "Can I at least ask what your looking for?" he noded to the guns, and the drugs. "I mean it is all right here right?" looking at the van, though maybe she was searching just to check, or maybe this is that investigation thing he had heard so much about. He knew many things detective work was not one of them.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"Connections to other cases I'm working on." Is all Batgirl will give him as she continues her search inside the cab. Her gloved hands dip inside it to move around the center console area, under the driver's seat, and around the front console. She doesn't say much else until she steps back, holding a switchblade knife, another gun, and a bag of cocaine. She stares at them for a moment, before she speaks up once more.

"I am sure Robin will understand." She says then before her green eyes look over at him again, and just linger a gaze for a few moments.

"If you're in this business for the long haul, the business of being a 'hero' to the people. Prepare for hardships. Prepare for difficult choices. Don't be afraid to do what you have to do to get results. That's all I can really say. If he is your friend, he'll listen to what you have to tell him."

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin smiles and nods at her explination, for a bat that was like a dissertatrion so he would take it. "Lets hope it wasn't the safe huh." he glances at the sand.. "Oops." though he doubted that would be evidence, and if so that its current shape would change what it ment before. Once changed it was changed as there was no reset button to change it back. He smiles a bit though, "A warning for my own safty, and now sticking up for Robin.. You are rather nice." he smiles a bit "Don't worry I won't tell anyone." though perhaps he had a wierd view on nice.

As she continues to search he thinks for a moment, "I have been in the family buisness for too long. Forced into one situation or another on occastion changing little things to keep my family safe, or that nothing changes." he looks at the Alleyway, "But down here its different. I get that.. I feel that in the air though... that prob sounds wierd." and chuckles.

He sighs a bit and looks up "Could you not tell him about this though, I know you can keep a secret so I will take you at your word, as this is a discussion for me to have with my friend." he smiles again, looking at her hoping she got he ment the Damian part as he could care less if she talked about anything else.

He finally looks back down, "And I am not a Hero.. I can't be." he corrects himself "You wouldn't want me to be. Or at least my Father has told me" he looks down a bit "Too Dangerous."

Barbara Gordon has posed:
The sounds of the sirens are growing louder in the distance, and as he asks her to make that promise, Batgirl stops what she's doing to regard him once more. "I don't see him that often." She quietly says before adding. "He won't hear of it from me though."

AT the end of the alleyway there comes a rumbling of an engine, and two bright lights shine on. They soon dim so as not to blind both Franklin and Batgirl, and there at their source is a armored vehicle in black. A Batmobile, with a cockpit style setup, a glass canopy over two seats in a line like an Apache hellicopter.

"The Cops are going to be here soon, do you need a lift anywhere?" Batgirl asks then as she looks away from the car, as it idles a fair few meters away.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin looks at her and smiles, "You know lot of people say you Bat-People are crazy, and mean." he takes a step and starts floating again just a little bit off the surface. "I don't think you mean." he finishes with a smile as he starts floating away up going slowly as there are bats, planes, so many things in the air here one must be careful. "I will be fine, sorry to take up your time."

He continues as he is floating up, "If you ever need of me I am at Baxtor Tower if I hear it is you I will come. Good Bye, and thank you!" giving her a wave, as he has found the way clear as he raises the little more flying off into the distance though just moving himself around with TK. The briefest of shimmers come around him as he makes a light contruct to guard himself as he heads back to the train he had other obligations as well that he had put off for long enough.
