Cast of Characters: Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Gwen had hinted at a gift. But what gift was it?! She hadn't been forthcoming about it right after the offering of the heart-shaped necklace. Instead she had sent Peter to the kitchen....

That's what you get for offering Gwen such a lovely gift! Sent to the kitchen!

But not alone, Gwen had gone along and together they were fashioning a meal to eat. Nothing too fancy! Just a pizza really and Gwen was going through toppings. "Some pepperoni and ..., how about banana?" she suggests? Is she for real? She does wink while continuing on with the preparations.

And no gift in sight for Peter just yet. Such mystery. She was also still dressed in her Ghost Spider outfit, the black and white outfit clinging tight against her forms.

Peter Parker has posed:
The thing is, Peter did not care what Gwen had gotten for him. Or not gotten for him. To him, the reward of seeing Gwen's face light up with the necklace was enough. Knowing that each of them had two pieces of the same thing to carry with them, the way they were both two pieces of the same duo now...that warmed his heart.

The same way the idea of banana on top of pizza chilled him to the bone. "What universe are you _from_, Gwendolyn Stacy?" he expresses with a look of feigned (or not so feigned) horror. Clearly she is joking. She winked. Right? RIGHT?!?!

That said, he seems content to move along with her and not worry so much about gifts. Or that horrible idea of pizza. And he himself was still wearing his costume, sans mask. And he was finally warming up from the Christmas gift delivery crusade.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
There may have been a wink ... But she may have been testing the waters too! That Peter makes such a question in return gets her eyes to twinkle in amusement and she laughs in that quiet manner of hers, "Well, if I told you you wouldn't believe me.." a beat, "Or to quote a movie..." and she gets serious (not that serious), "You can't handle the truth!" there, you just got Jack Nicholson'ed.

"And fine, no banana. But the pepperoni stays..." she is already getting the pizza with those pepperoni slices! "Now we just need yours..." because it can't be a pizza with just her own likes. Or you get banana there.

"I am surprised JJJ didn't want you working on christmas.."

Peter Parker has posed:
There is a sense of relief on Peter at how Gwen handles that question. It isn't really until after he uncorked it that he realizes the implications of the question. He knows there is _something_ amiss there, something which makes her unhappy, but she does not talk about it and he does not want to try to get her to talk about it either. So he lets the talk about universes die out. Although he does take a swing at his own Nicholson reference. "Heeeeeeere's Peter!" he says as he slips up behind her, reaching over her shoulder to grab at some of the ricotta left over from his somewhat passable attempt to cook up lasagna last week. "A dollop of this here and there should do it."

And then he spins away from her after planting a brief kiss against the side of her neck. "JJJ is too cheap to pay anyone to work on Christmas. He may be an asshole, but he's a _cheap_ asshole."

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Big eyeroll back at Peter when he goes with the Nicholson reference. "You need to do the insane glee in the end.." she admonishes with a small shake of her head. But the next moment she adds. "Or actually, don't do the glee..", she giving him a little hip bump when he reaches over her shoulder from behind.

"Ricotta with pepperonni. Playing dangerous tonight, Mr. Parker.." She eyebrow waggling at him. Yet with the ricotta atop it seems to be good to go! And then it's opening the oven, leaning over to slip the pizza in and brushing her hands in a 'job well done' kinda gesture.

"There we go." She announces, hand resting on her hip. "And now ..., come with me..." she beckons over her shoulder with a fingertip, starting on her way over towards their room.

Peter Parker has posed:
"Uh, you don't want me acting with madcap glee, Gwen. I'll sound too much like one of my villains." Spider-man did have a good collection of cacklers, probably moreso than anyone other than Bat-man. Peter nudges her back as he slips away.

"Look, that's basically a stromboli but all on the outside. Those work well together!" He knows better than to try to argue with her, of course - Gwen has her opinions. But then he also decides that there are better things to do than argue with her, particularly when she is leaning over to slide a pizza into the oven. He is at least courteous enough to wait until she gets her hand out of the range of the heat elements to pinch her rear. It was too hard to resist entirely.

An eyebrow arches at her beckons. Not that he could, or would, resist any instruction from Gwen, but something like this in particular? If he were a Tex Avery cartoon, his head would be hanging forward and his feet would be lifted off the ground as he followed her towards the bedroom.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"What's a villain without a good cackle?" Gwen muses, busying herself with the food until that pinch. It makes her jump and then look over her shoulder with a grin. "Watch your hands, Mister." she tells him in that kind of way that is half teasing and half ..., well, not serious. It's Christmas after all and Peter may just get lucky tonight.

They make way to the room and then she can't help but laugh at the look on Peter's expression, "Don't get any ideas .., yet. We still got the pizza to eat.."

Elegant steps bring her to the middle of the room and she looks over a tall drawer. A web is shot, hooking on something and then she pulls on it. A small package comes falling down and she catches it nimbly with one hand.

"Merry Christmas, Peter."

Inside he will be finding his gift. A full frame camera ..., for those difficult spider-man shots most likely!

Peter Parker has posed:
"Uh, a quiet villain?" offers Peter with a laugh. He hops back and away from Gwen as she challenges him, knowing it is all in good fun.

Following along to the room, he laughs again. "How long does the pizza take to bake?" There is way too much of a scandalous grin on his face as he says that. Someone appears to be getting entirely too comfortable with the newfound domestic lifestyle.

Watching the action with which the gift is presented, Peter returns the season greetings and as he starts to open the box. He smiles broadly at the camera, and nods. "This is great, Gwen, thank you!" It's true that he had been letting technology pass him by, using an old camera instead of upgrading to something new. No doubt this will improve his photos, and maybe lead to more money that he can spend on more gifts for Gwen. A man can only hope, right?

He flicks his wrist and snags Gwen's waist and yanks her towards him, holding the camera in his other hand. "Guess I finally did kill off that typical Parker Luck, huh?" He extends the hand with the camera out and leans in to kiss her cheek before smiling at the camera, a selfie of the two of them serving as an appropriate first photo.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"Not enough for all the ideas I have..." Yep, there's the sultry tone of hers as Gwen leads the way in, a quick look over her shoulder and large blue eyes smoldering. But ..., priorities first! Like gifts and ..., pizza. Later. A bit later. There's a timer. How long does it give them?

She does laugh at the scandalous grin on Peter's face, "There's the madcap glee.." she calls it. Turning to then sit on the bed she crosses her legs, waiting as Peter starts going through the wrapping paper, "I got you a nice full-frame. It's got 33 Megapixels too.." She's starting to nerd out, pointing at the box, then at the camera, "10 fps shooting speed, so it almost looks like a movie if you want. And 4k of course, because any less is for plebs.." a roll of her eyes. Yes, she's a techno geek when she wants to.

All that is stopped when the Spider pulls the other Spider towards him, she pulled up to her feet and over, hip against hip. A grin to the camera and she leans her head on Peter's shoulder for that first selfie!

"Say Spider!"

Peter Parker has posed:
"I mean, that could make up for burned pizza..." offers Peter, pondering the trade-off as he watches those eyes. Of course, more patiently, he could have both be good, but...those eyes...

He does turn the camera around, peering at it, and nodding as she explains all of its features. "It's amazing. It'll compensate well for my lack of skill." He grins. As if his most popular and highest paying photos weren't taken on automatic with the camera webbed to the side of a building. But he has taken some nice winners in his day. Here and there.

As they commence with selfies, Peter grins into the camera, answering her command. "Spider!" he says, before turning his head to brush his lips against her cheek. "I love you," he adds, snapping another photo. Spider indeed.
