Date of Scene: 26 April 2020
Location: Seaside Victorian
Synopsis: Morrigan invites Sam over to talk on things. Things go well.
Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Sam Wilson

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan felt awful after everything had ran it's course last night. The woman had returned home after the paramedics had looked at her and she'd be fine. What was not going to be fine was the hunger, which she sated about five minutes after getting home at three am. She'd slept in the lab for a few hours before heading back upstairs and dealing with a shower and things.

She'd texted Sam to see if he wanted to come over. Mainly she wanted to make sure he was okay. The other part of it was that she needed to let him know that she was sorry about the evening.

She's dressed in jeans and a oversized white dress shirt with her hair down. She looked very relaxed and not so bitey!

Sam Wilson has posed:
Sam, honestly, was still trying to grasp what had happened last night. After making sure that the Thanagarians that were captured were secured with Lara's help, he'd returned his drone and went in for treatment. Underneath the grey 'Harbor Seals' T-shirt he wears from the school, he's in a pair of blue jeans and boots. A more relaxed look than his normal. Especially when calling on Morrigan.

But she asked for him today and after what happened, there was trepedation. Not because of what she is, but because he's pretty sure this is going to be... he doesn't know what to expect, but he's prepared for the worse when he arrives on his wings - because his motorcycle was still here from where he had left it to ride with her to the Expo.

In the end, what it came down to was that Morrigan was someone he cared about. And he's a counselor. He's going to want to help. So her doorbell rings soon after he texted her back that he was on the way.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan was up from the stairs the moment she saw the shadow in the doorway and there's a bit of a smile as she heads that way. The door is opened and she looks to Sam and her smile brightens, "Hey handsome." she states quietly.

Behind her, the sound of a large cat is heard thunking down the stairs. VISITORS! Occam looks interested in it.

Morrigan steps back from the door, "Come on in and make yourself at home." she states as she looks him over. He looked much better than he did when they'd parted ways at the Expo.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"Hey." Sam greets back, his first instinct to immediately... but he returns her smile and he moves to follow Morrigan in, she may notice the slight wince when he ascends the step. The spear had gotten him far better than he had let on when he had gone to check on her. Which with her shirt on, she's hiding her injuries again. Once he gets inside, he closes the door behind him. "Mind if I set this down?" he asks.

He means the backpack he wears - the Exo that's contained within it as he hopefully gets permission to set it down and goes to settle on the couch in the living room, picking the place that hopefully she'll want to sit with him. "How're you?" he asks her after he is gingerly seated.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a soft frown when she notices that he's still injured. "Please, you shouldn't be carrying that around while you're hurt." she states as she lets him settle things down. Then she's moving after him, barefeet making soft sounds on the floor as she does. Occam is sitting in the doorway looking at Sam and there's a meow to him.

She settles down beside him, her hand reaching out to gently grasp his, "I'm fine." she tells him. "Can..." she starts off. Then she takes a deep breath, "Can you take that shirt off?" she asks him.

Probably not the words he was expecting.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"It's not as heavy as it looks." Sam says with a light chuckle. Once he sets the exo frame down though, his hand is settled in hers and his grip tightens. Because he doesn't want to pull away. "You didn't look fine last night." he points out to her.

And then she makes her request. But he's not doing so, not yet, dark eyes on her violet ones. "Normally, this is where I'd try to play it off with a 'show you mine, show me yours'." he comments, a hint of a tease in his tone.

There's a but there, though. And it's a heavy one. "You needed help last night. And I assume what you were doing... wasn't just because you are part vampire."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a chuckle to him, "I wasn't, but, your safety was a bit more on my mind than my bleeding." she admits. There's a bit of a blush at his tease, "You'll see why I won't you to take the shirt off when we are done talking I'm guessing." she tells him.

Then she's turning on the couch a bit, so she can face him as they talk.

"One of the big parts of the school is 'discretion'. If I had lost control and bit you last night I'd have been all over the news unless someone knocked me out prior to that." she frowns. "And believe me, I wanted to bite you REALLY bad." she sighs.

"You think I'm not into this?" she asks him. She was extremely intelligent, she could figure stuff out.

Sam Wilson has posed:
Settling one knee on the couch, Sam turns to face Morrigan and he draws in his breath. "I am really interested in you, Morrigan. I mean, we've teased around the idea. And we've had some good dates, but I know we're at that point where you know, you start to decide if this is something that we want to continue on." he says honestly. "And before you say anything, just. I'm going to draw some inspiration off someone here. Of course he inspires me a lot. I met Steve when he came to my support group. He quickly became one of my best friends."

"And if Captain America can find a way to make a relationship work with someone in everything that he does, I know I could as well." he finally explains.

"We just had a talk about discretion at the school. Remember, Alex, satyrs, beheadings?" he asks her with a slight grin. "Maybe I shouldn't have asked you to evacuate the civilians. But it was the most low key I could think to ask you to do. I have a public identity. People know I'm Falcon. And that's just how it is. Avenger, SHIELD agent..."

"I thought you fled last night because you didn't want to be seen with me because it would suggest to people that you're powered. Not that you wanted to bite me." he laughs. "I honestly thought you invited me over to let me go." he admits in a whisper. As counselor and as her interested. And the tone he uses makes it sound like either of those would be something he wanted to happen. He wants to be here. At the school. And with her.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to him as he speaks, listening attentively as he does. She doesn't give any little huffs or anything. She lets him get what he needs to say out, but, there is something that he says that makes her frown.

"I should have stuck to just evacuating. That was my shortcoming, not yours." she points out. "I thought the guy was getting away, but, I had help from that one guy and we still lost things." she frowns.

"I wasn't fleeing from anything but the chance of hurting you or someone else." she points out. Then she goes quiet, giving him a bit of a soft look, "Sam, no." she shakes her head. "I was asking you over as I wanted to apologize for the evening being ruined and for the ensuing tire fire of my mental state." she tells him. "You've done nothing wrong and I definitely don't want to lose you." she tells him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"Morrigan, I was so proud of you last night. Thank you for helping." It's all Sam can say on the subject as his free hand raises and presses to her cheek. "I'm sorry I gave you the temptation to bite me. I should have been more careful. I just... I haven't done this in a while, Mo. And I have to remember what is and isn't on limits when it comes to you. Clearly gashing my side wide open is not a kink." There's a weak smile at that.

"We'll just have to put it on the list." he offers to her. "The list of the whole... having a full fledged relationship." If that's what she wants. "Because I want to keep you too."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan blushes a bit when he tells her he's proud of her, "Thank you. I was just trying to help out where I could. And sadly...I let my anger get the best of me. I shouldn't have been so punchy." she muses. "And it wasn't like you were planning to go get your side ripped upon. I've been starving my other side, so, last night was the melting point and I had to come home and shut myself up and do what I needed to do." she states.

"And I would very much like to to have a full fledged relationship with you, Sam Wilson. I mean...if the idea of potentially getting bitten doesn't turn you off." she muses.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"Maybe just hickies to start off with?" Sam offers to her playfully. But he gets an idea. "Okay. So... this is like a major trust exercise, right? And I need to know everything about you, just like you want to know about met." Reaching into his pocket, he releases her hand to free up his own. "Because I want to be your boyfriend and more, Morrigan MacIntyre."

Taking out a small blade from his pocket, he makes a small cut in his hand, drawing up the blood to the surface. Turning to face her, he draws in a breath. "If this helps. I trust you." Because he may be a little scared. But he doesn't want to lose her. With that, he presents his hand to her.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I can do that." Morrigan grins to him as she looks his way. Then she's looking at him curiously as he talks about a trust exercise. "Alright. Let's see what this exercise is." she smiles to him.

Then he's cutting his hand open and oh boy, if this had been last night there would be reeling back and heavy breathing. She's much calmer today, but she is looking to his offered hand and the blood welling up there. She dips her head to the offered palm and licks the line of blood there slowly. She lifts her head, her violet eyes bright as she looks at him, "Coppery." she grins to him. She doesn't bite him!

She then reaches one hand for his injured side, "Let me take care of this." she whispers to him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
Sam hold really still while Morrigan does her thing. He's ready to pull away, but he ends up with a laugh. "Tickles." he manages, because her tongue does tickle, damn it. But there's no biting, so apparently the blood lust it gone for the moment as she reaches for his side. Closing his eyes, he nods finally, giving his consent.

Reaching down, he lifts his shirt, removing it and exposing the dark skin beneath. "I think you're just trying to undress me little by little." he comments. On his right side, there's an angrily stitched wound beneath a medical pad. But it's not the only scar on his skin. There's a few. He is only human, after all. And has been a soldier. And an Avenger.

"So when you're done, gonna take off your shirt too?" he asks her, a husky tease in his voice.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a soft smile, "Well, you still have the feeling in your hand thank goodness." she tells him with a teasing tone. She doesn't press hard for his shirt to come off, but, when he does she looks over his bare chest and there's a moment taken to look over those scars of his, then she's focusing on the angry wound at his side.

She slides closer, her palm settling gently over the medical pad. "This might feel odd, but please trust me." she states in a soft voice. There's a moment that it's just the silence between them and then Sam would feel a warmth flow from her hand and into his flesh. She closes her eyes and his skin under the gauze starts to reknit, healing in ways that go beyond what doctors can do with a scalpal and machines.

There's a soft grin to him, "Maybe I will lose the shirt." she teases him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
Holding still, Sam lets Morrigan work her magic on him, feeling the warmth causes him to briefly squirm before he steadies himself again. "I... I never read anything about that when it came to vampires. I mean, my knowledge is limited to movies and a couple of times that someone tried to talk into a role-playing game with them." he admits, shivering beneath the knitting of his injury.

When he finally looks down, noticing the condition of the skin, he swallows. "...wow." he manages, looking up at her, his eyes studying hers. And then he moves forward, pressing his lips to hers. Warm, affectionate, not rushed. When he pulls back, his smile is soft. "It's my day off, so I'm all yours."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
When Morrigan is done, she removes the gauze carefully, not ripping it off of his skin. She runs her fingers over the healed flesh and there's a bit of pride there, "All better." she grins to him. "That's not anything attached to my vampiric tendencies. And I'm not a full vampire. I just got one upside and a few downsides when it comes to my fathers blood." she tells him.

"I'm a master of the mystic arts. You've met Doctor Strange, correct?" she asks him. "I studied at Sanctum Santorum when I was younger and then independently after my mentor was killed. I don't use my magic unless provoked or someone needs healing." she tells him. Then she's returning his kiss and she moves into his lap as she does.

"I think we can figure out a few things to do here today." she winks at him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
When she removes the bandage, and Sam gets a good look at the magic she weaved, he chuckles. "So a vampire and a sorceress got together and made you." His eyes study hers, and he smirks slightly. Amusement is there, but maybe just a hint of worry as she explains herself.

"You going to be happy with a muggle like me?" he asks her, just to make sure. "I'm pretty normal..." Though any complaint he has is lost whe she moves to get closer to him and settles in his lap. "...no. I think I can find plenty for us to do today." he agrees, pulling her into another kiss.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a shake of her head, "My mother was a plain human. Everyone is capable of learning magic, it just takes a lot of work to get where some of us are. I didn't sleep much in college if I'm honest." she muses. She notices the hint of worry and she reaches to cup his face in her hands, her delicate fingers stroking his cheeks as she looks to him.

"You're one of the most magical people I've ever met. Don't think you're a muggle." she smiles to him. Then she's kissing him softly, "Want to go upstairs?" she whispers to him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"I haven't even had much college." Sam responds with a laugh, closing his eyes to her touch. When she asks him that most important of questions, he looks into her eyes, and he nods.

"Yes." he agrees to her. "Lead the way."
