Kainashi has posed:
    GETTING CLOSER.

The technological terrapin, upon hearing where Kainashi had possibly been being kept, had triangulated the signals that had been picked up in Central Park following the attack there, and traced the addresses and signals back to a confirmed location in Staten Island, near some of the ferry docks. THe building was supposedly small and low, single story and described as 'light office space' on Zillow.

But 'Light Office Space' didn't require the giant amount of electricity or server power, firewalls, honeypot systems or phishing filters for the less smart employees.

Luckily, there were less smart employees. There's always someone who'll click a link for a free Big Mac from FriendlyMcDonald@McD.Com.

They were able to confirm this was the facility that Kainashi was being held at. They had security footage dating back months. Escape attempts that nearly worked. Electric shock collar training. Research that required sharp implements, and attempts to get Kainashi to divulge what she knew about the earlier attempts, how she got so strong, which eventually led to her breaking vocal restraints, biting and snapping at the scientists and researches who were working with her, and eventually aftr they were unable to handle the constant chatter, trying to ask them names and about their families, attempts to humanize herself -- her debarking.

It was a rough watch all around. But it confirmed that Kainashi hadn't attacked in Central Park with her own sense of self.

It also gave them a keycard that could be used to get into the facility.

So here, on a cold, rainy night in Statin Island, with the rooftops icing over, our heroes gather to deal Null a blow, and to take their family member *back*.

Alopex has posed:
It was pretty helpful that the Brothers came out of the woodwork, as it were, to help track down Kainashi after the attack in Central Park. Part of Alopex wishes she could have ran into them sooner, but with Leonardo's presence earlier leading to the rest of them currently, Donnie's technological prowess would quickly become VERY USEFUL for a bunch of things on the fox's list. However, for now, Kainashi was still on top of her list. Everything else could wait.

It was -very- good that Sally and Sundance were around when the group was observing the recorded footage. It kept Alopex from storming out of the Lair to try and be a one-fox wrecking ball against the Null facility that Donatello had deduced the location of. Had the brothers even ever seen her -this- angry before? Probably not. Rage-Pex was not a common thing. The last time she could recall it ever surfacing was a long time ago, and was the reason she left for Fairbanks in the first place.

With her cool ... mostly restored, Alopex had taken to rooftops, Tentetsutou in tow, enroute to the facility for the ambush they were all going to spring. Keycard? Sure, that's well and good for some, but she was being a tad stubborn about this and wanted to try and ensure a second avenue of entry and egress incase it was required. The sword would help with .. some locks. It remained to be seen just how secure the roof was. Hopefully the others would understand that this was just something she had to be a bit solo about. She didn't want her anger getting the others hurt.

Donatello has posed:
Donatello is starting to toy with the idea of shell augmentation, building a suit of armor - y'know, just your average techno-supergenius guy sort of stuff. He was still trying to figure out how he would be able to get patents. Legal citizenship should be something they should look into, just so they could...live. Maybe not in a sewer someday. Everyone else liked the sewer, though. Probably didn't think about it. Donnie just thought he'd like a hot shower out of something other than a drainpipe near a curry stand.

His bo is sideslung across his shell, his hand holding the tracker screen. Had he needed to enamel it in turtleshell? No, but he felt he could also express his creative side along with his scientific acumen. It was like a signature. That would do until patents came around. Enjoy tooling around on your bright green and orange turtlescooter, child delinquent, you'll be laughed out of school. This isn't the eighties!

When that color scheme was popular. What?

"Just be chill, alright, everybody," he says into the headsets he passed out. "We're going to get her back. Nice and clean. Surgical. Like in our training. Not in our...raging, bestial fury. Right, guys?" he says.

Raphael has posed:
The Brothers are here to help. Even this one. Raphael is crouched in the shadows of the roof of the next building, mostly blending in. He's silent, but anyone with any kind of sense can tell he's seething. Alopex isn't the only one with some anger over this. Sure, it isn't anywhere near as directly personal, but it's still -personal-. Treating people like weapons, like -things-, is infuriating.

"Yeah. Chill. I'll keep chill til things go pear shaped, then the angry comes out."

Sundance has posed:
You know, there's always a bit of a disconnect when the Turtles and the Mutanimals team up. Different priorities. But not this tme. This time the two teams definitely have the same goal in mind: Saving Kainashi.

Sundance doesn't know her, at least not outside of what he's run into so far, but Alopex and Sally have filled him in on the details, and the video, well...He's been there himself.

"Only surgery I'm planning is putting a .45 through the lab director's dome." Replies Sundance over the comms after Donnie. The coyote had brought a veritable arsenal with him in the back of Sally's vehicle, and was currently picking through some of the options. He glances over towards Sally, "You think she's gonna be okay? I mean you and I turned out okay." He says this as he pulls the double barrel shotgun up and breaks it open to insert a couple of shells, "But what we saw in that video, damn."

Sally Pride has posed:
BEFORE:
Looking over the 'training' footage they had managed to get had made Sally Pride both cringe and scowl in anger. And that was even before getting to the 'debarking'. That was a straw that snapped it though. Some of it was similar to what she and Ray had gone through. Some of it was much, much worse. Null had unfortunately learned from the breakouts and raids the Mutanimals had done.

Of course knowing how SHE felt was all the more reason to keep a hand on Alopex's shoulder, and remind her to think of her training. Revenge would come, but it had to be practical and precise.

NOW:
"No promises on no beastial fury," Sally replied to Donnie's comm chatter as she tugged and strapped her studded glove into place. "But if there is fury, it will be -focused- fury." Back against a structure opposite the target building and in the shadows she drew her weapon.

Not her usual stun pistol, or taser wand, though both are visibly holsters on her belt.

She had 'aquisitioned' one of the larger rifles from the Null goons they had beat previously, pulling the activator that mimiced a pump action to power it up. There was going to be no 'they're just workers probably don't really know what's going on' holding back.

They messed with her family. Big Sister Sally was ready to make them live to regret it.

Kainashi has posed:
The pieces are set. The only thing that stands between the heroes and their friend now is the back door of the facility, and myriad security measures. And some potentially raging bestial fury from the other side.

THe back entrance has some vans parked there -- one was completely wrecked and towed here. Alopex would probably recognize it as the one that she wrecked to the point of it having to be towed.

INSIDE: A silent alarm is triggered. A security guard rises as his compatriot -- still complaining that he never got his free big mac -- stretches his arms over his head and changes the channel on the little TV they were watching episodes of Seinfield generated by AI on.

"So, what do you think of those Alligator catfish they said they had cookin' up?" he asks.

"Pretty sure they'll make hushpuppies with bite." the other guard gives a laugh. "Kinda like that thing they brought back from Central Park, y'know?"

Alopex has posed:
Perfect. Well maybe. It depends. While she's still -really- angry with Null, she has the sense to inspect the wrecked van. It was towed, the drivers were probably unnerved. Maybe they forgot something! ... If not well, she has her blade, after all. That door would be worried if it was sentient. "C'mon you neanderthals, you left something behind, I just know it.."

Donatello has posed:
Donatello takes one of the guards quickly, waiting until his friend turns his back and dragging the man into the darkness with a hand over his mouth. THe bo across his windpipe strangles out the rest, hitting a precise nerve and knocking the man unconscious for at least an hour. Almost painless.

He had to be better.

He wasn't one for aggressive action, but he knew the mood of the rest and better he be the one engaging, putting people down humanely, the less savaging there would be. Even at their worst, his friends wouldn't attack unconscious men. no matter how loathesome.

Sundance has posed:
Sundance slips in behind the security desk once the guards have been taken care of, "Where's that keycard we got?" He asks, as he hops onto one of the computers, "I've been in all thsese systems a lot recently, and I doubt they'll have changed anything. Even with my escape, they're too cocky to actually change things."

Sally Pride has posed:
He might be doing that guard a favor in the end. But it's not like Sally turned the rifle up to fully lethal. Yet. But it's definitely at a 'hurts enough you might wish you were dead'. In her defense she's also making ready in case they have Rodney Roadkills or other automated defenses on hand, those aren't going to go down with a little spark shooter. But Don is right about her not shooting guys that are already down and unconcious.

She pulls the keycard from her pocket and flicks it to Sundance. "You and him," a nod towards Don, "know computers better than I do. I'll keep watch. The place is going to erupt like an angry nest eventually." From the fox and the Angry Brother doing their own things if nothing else.

Sally takes post at the security office doors. Rifle gripped in both hands, active and ready but handled professionally, held at a downward angle to keep the barrel at the floor until there's something to actually point at and shoot. She is technically a fully trained soldier, after all.

Raphael has posed:
Raph waits, biding his time. He pulls a cord from his belt and whips it across to the other building before he secures the other end to this one. He tests its security before he draws his sais and hooks them over the cord.

Then he ziplines down, bursting in through the door to see... The guards already dealt with?!

"Aw man! You didn't save me anything!"

Kainashi has posed:
The security guards were taken out handily by the ninjas -- the first one with nary a sound, the second one with a small sound of surprise, and then silence thanks to Donatello's work. Though there was nothing in the wrecked van other than the suspicious smell of something high in alkaline (the guard definitely did not have a good time with a very angry fox at his throat), the search in the van only turns up some scraps of dog food.

    Not even the good stuff.

The soldier is at the ready as Sundance and Donatello take up room at the security desk, able to get into the systems with the keycard that chipperly addresses Sundance as Anita Hiro as he swipes into the system.

"Hello Anita Hiro, welcome to the Null Security Platform. What are we doing today?" a computer-generated voice asks.

Elsewhere, two levels down, the lights flick on in a lab.

"I'm telling you she's *not ready* yet. Her damn leg nearly got sliced off," a woman with a pinched face and obnoxiously pink cats-eye glasses states, labcoat fluttering as she follows a tall, thin man in a suit. "Just gas the whole room and be *done* with it."

"Not as long as there's assets we can recover." he states, and he leans in to stare at the creature within.

    There's a breath, wheezing out.

    "Prepare *it* for combat."

And yes, Raphael, there isn't anything for you at *just this moment* --

Sundance and Donatello are granted access tot he system, where the first things that come up are the security cameras, showing this facility has three floors.

And the third floor down shows guards suiting up.

Alopex has posed:
The fox gives a grumble as the van has next to nothing in it. "Sword it is," she states to no one before stalking away from the van toward the back door. Time to find out just how sturdy the thing is, and what kind of security she'll set off. It's fine. She'll give them a distraction, attract guards, or possibly even have Kai sent her way. All of these options are fine regardless of if she can cut the door open or not.

        -Slice-

Donatello has posed:
Donatello starts to rapidly shuffle through the camera feeds, betting they got from low to high, so he starts at the top, trying to find a likely villain lab/lair/dungeon.

"What number levels are Eggman's lairs in...no, no, that's no logic to go on, these people are not nerds or geeks, they're...they're...BAD SCIENTISTS!"

"Guards on the third floor down. THat's a place to start. They're coming our way. Let's choose the turf. Been a while since we had a stairway brawl. I do like the geometry of it."

Raphael has posed:
Raphael slips his sais back in his belt, looking around as his brother and everybody else are doing their parts. A thing he doesn't have yet. He flits about the room, peeking over shoulders and trying not to be a nuisance. He makes a bit of a face, moving to post up near Sally when Donnie talks.

Raph's head whips around so fast. "I love stairway brawls. Let's do it." He grins almost maliciously. "Gun people, cover the Not Gun people."

The angriest turtle then begins to head for the stairs, cracking his knuckles in what can only be described as glee.

Sundance has posed:
If those guards are gearing up, they're on their way up. Which means he's got to head down, "I'm on those guards, find Kainashi and let me know!" The coyote says to Donatello as he hops over the desk and heads for the stairwell. He kicks the door open, his shotgun coming to bear as he starts to head downwards. He steps through quickly, making sure if there's anybody in the stairwell, before he heads to the door to the third floor down.

He pauses at the door, taking a moment to listen if anyone was outside. If nobody was waiting for him on the other side, he'll open it up and move in, looking for the security room. If someone's waiting for him on the other side? They're definitely going to find themselves with a tomahawk to the head once the door opens.

Sally Pride has posed:
"I doubt they'll be the only ones," Sally replies to Raph with a nod.

And sure enough it's pointed out where the guards are getting ready. She considers a moment. Tail gives a lash. "He's right. Null will be looking to catch people they expect will be focused on finding their objective. Probably start thinking about a big bonus instead of proper tactics when they see some other 'former property'. They will be less prepared for the fight to come to the--"

And there Raph already goes, though it's on the same tangent. Sundance is quick to follow. Sally just sort of shrugs. "Best to let them apply themselves at what they do best. Let's go find the actual lab."

Now where did Alopex get off to...

Kainashi has posed:
Eggman's layers are always the third levels.

On level three, marked LAB CAM-4, there are two people looking into a cage.

A cage on a wall of cages, with a stainless steel table. That's the camera some of the cutting occurred when they had hacked the system and pulle footage to try and find out what happened to Kai. Chances are, if Kainashi's still in the building, she'd be there.

There is a stairwell, where a brawl was about to start up.

Third floor down to the stairs.

THe doors open on the third floor down in the antechamber to the third floor proper, as Sundance opens the door, and someone's gotten a tomahawk to the head.

Followed by the sound of electric rifles powering up.

"FIRE. SET TO STRONG STUN! Don't kill the assets!" someone barks.

    IN THE LAB:
The woman with the glasses turns.

"No. It can't fight in this condition. It's exhausted everything it's got, you need to give it time to *recover*." she adjusts her glasses. "It's a living thing."

"Well. It speaks English, doesn't it? At least comprehends? Tell it that if it doesn't get up and go -- we'll just send the ones that haven't been changed yet. Let's see how it likes that."

KICK. The cage is rattled, and on camera both humans step back.

"... touchy, isn't it?" the man gives a sinister grin.

"Amp it up with enough adreniline to trip its heart up. It won't feel the pain. Promise... we've done it once or twice before."

So, Team Not Stairwell, what do you do?

    Team Stairwell: FIGHT

Donatello has posed:
When it comes down to monsters vs humans, Donatello had long come in on the side of monsters. While he was of a human philosophy, he knew what it was to be alien, to be other, to be repulsive. He had to go in hard. Kainashi needed him to get to her and so that's what he was going to do and the rest could sort itself out later. Maybe that was a stupid reason for him to grit his teeth a little harder. And maybe be a little rougher than he normally would be. Just necessity. He tells himself. Life or death. As he kicks in a helmeted head, as he spins with the bo, dancing down it with a grace that would make a stripper proud as he spirals up the stairs and takes out everything in his path. He may not want to kill anybody. But it is also clear.

Donatello is not playing tonight.

Raphael has posed:
Raph never plays. When he fights, it's all or nothing. Even in training, he goes -hard-. Here? He's going past even that. The second eldest ninja turtle flings himself down the stairs, skipping a whole flight of them with a whoop.

Sure, he's a ninja. A master of the art of distraction. He is the distraction.

He lands hard, eyes gleaming in the weird stairwell light as he starts swinging fists, feet and even shell at these people. "Assets?! We're people you--" CRASH. There's a lot of scuffling noise, so Raph's profanity laced tirade is lost to time.

"We're going to break this whole operation wide open, and I'm going to personally strangle whoever's in charge here with their own guts!"

He's bluffing, right? ... Right?

Kainashi has posed:
SLASH. The sword pierces the door from the parking level to the second level. Alopex now has access, to the lab through the fight on the stairs or going down the elevator, which conveniently has an OUT OF ORDDER sign but can be opened to access.

There is also a janitor standing there, looking at Alopex, and then he drops his mop, sticks his hands up and states: "I do *not* get paid enough to deal with werewolves!"

Alopex has posed:
"Fox. Leave. This company is not worth whatever they are paying you." Even being in rage mode, Alopex has her standards, and her standards include: Do not hurt bystanders. And that's all the janitor is. Now that she has entry, the elevator being out of order just means faster access to lower levels. The Tentetsutou is used to leverage open the shaft and then she's headed down, a loud THUD likely heard by anyone nearby before the blade STABS through the split in the door to open it up. She doesn't care about alarms. She doesn't care about guards. She has a singular purpose right now and she will cut apart weapons, or people, if need be. "Get the HELL out of my way!"

Sally Pride has posed:
And Sally brings up the rear. She's not quite as nimble as the ninjas, but feline agility and dexterity is enough to at least keep a reasonable pace with coverfire for Donnie, leaping across the angles where the stairs cross instead of taking them to every turnaround point. One guard is quick enough to step back from a bo swipe, and scoffs behind his facemask. "This idiot is fighting with a big stick--"

And he's cut off by a blaster rifle shot square to the torso. He's got enough security armor to make the hit less than lethal, but it hit him center of mass and sent him careening backwards.

"That one has a rifle!" "That one has one of OUR rifles!"
Just as his own rifle is shot from his hands. "They're trained to fight as a group, keep them scattered and seperated."
"Our rifle AND our tactics! Like she had been trai--" And he also gets interrupted, by the rifle butt to his face with enough force to shatter the visor as Sally hammers him in the opposite direction. He might have a black eye, a concussion and some shrapnel cuts to the face in the morning, but he'll live.

Sundance has posed:
When it comes to Null, Sundance plays for keeps. Because the alternative isn't death, it's worse. It's being back in a cage with a collar around your neck. And he's NOT going to let that happen. Sundance moves into the antechamber, retrieving his tomahawk as he steps out into the hall proper. He drops it back onto his belt as he brings his shotgun up with both hands, rolling for cover as the shots from those electric rifles strike near him, "I don't suppose any of you boys want to throw those down!"

The shots landing against his cover answers that question, as he leans around the corner and fires one barrel of his shotgun towards the Null troopers, sending a blast of buckshot in their general direction.

Kainashi has posed:
DING. Third Floor. Beat Downs, Rifle Blasts and RAGEFOXES.

The door to the elevator opens and exposes a VERY ANGRY ARCTIC FOX. Alopex comes bursting out o the elevator, white and rage and teeth and snarling, and giving a leap she runs along the wall and swings off an overhead light fixture in order to bypass the fighting -- the guards are too busy being picked off by Sally's precision shots to notice her, and y'know -- the beatdowns being taken from the staff-wielding ninja, the threats from sai bearing ragemode, the bullets and blows from Sundance and Sally. The quartet has made it so that Alopex can bypass the fight overhead, and she enters LAB 4.

The man turns and faces Alopex, the woman in the orange glasses deciding this would be a GREAT TIME to quit.

And she does -- right out the back fire emergency stairs out!

"Well. About time you figured out where you needed to go." the man states, and gives a grin.

"I don't suppose you would consider a trade and leave one of your friends behind?" he tilts his head to the cage.

    "This one's a bit broken."

Alopex has posed:
The party paving the road for Pex does at least get a slight wave over the shoulder as she vaults, but that's about it. Sally would know it means at least Alopex is channeling the rage.

Good thing 'glasses' just gets the hell out before anything happens. From the footage they all saw? Yeah. She would have had some problems once the fox showed up. As for the man still there? She hears the words as she surges in but doesn't even break stride. If he's not careful he'd get a foot right to the -face- unless he gets out of the way. There's only one word the man is going to get, and likely, everyone else would agree with it.

"Fuck. Off!"

Raphael has posed:
Raph keeps bashing his way down the stairs, getting in too close for the rifles to be much use. Well, except as melee weapons. He takes a rifle butt across the face, and it dazes him for a moment. Another comes to grab him from behind, and his body just reacts, thrusting himself backward to hive the guy a faceful of heavy shell.

He hasn't even drawn his weapons yet.

Getting his senses back, he pushes, striving downwards to get to the holding floor to free their target.

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride catchs a brief flicker of white bounding over the fight and towards the lab. There's the fox, being clever and tricksy like, well, a fox.

She goes back to firing, trying to work her way in the direction she saw Alopex flit, but then the rifle bleeps irritably at her that it's running out of charge. "Of all the fucking times..." With a growl she throws it aside.

Naturally the Null guards see that and think 'she's unarmed now!' and try to bum rush the lioness.
You do not charge an angry predator, even if she is the one with the most focus to her rage. Especially if she's the one with more focus to her rage.

The first guard to close in on her gets stopped cold with a reminder that the lioness still has claws as she lashes out, staggering him. Long enough for her to grab, turn, and fling him aside into another room. He falls on his ass, but is quick to get back up to rejoin the fight.

But stops when he sees Sally dangle something between her claws, then shut the door. He looks down, seeing one of the concussion grenades on his belt is missing it's trigger key and activily counting down. And likely to set off any others on him when it blows.

The room partially muffles the sound... but the likely end result is, well, its a good thing she threw him into another room lets say.

Sundance has posed:
The guards go down easily enough, they definitely weren't prepared for the kind of assault that the team of mutants brings their way. Sundance moves through into the group of troopers proper, getting caught in his chest by one of the stun shots, which stumbles him for a moment. He responds by grabbing the guy who shot him and biting the ever living hell out of him right between his shoulder and neck, aiming to get between the armor.

He grabs that guy's rifle, and while still holding onto the bite, swings him around and grabs his hand to force him to pull the trigger, spraying electro rifle rounds into his friends and compatriots around him, before eventually releasing the bite as he slings the guard to the ground, rising up in the middle of the group, blood dripping from his muzzle as he looks at some of the other guards who are still standing.

"Y'all really wanna keep doing this?"

Kainashi has posed:
The guards decide, almost universtally, that they do not want to keep doing this. Raphael is shoved out of the way as some decide that goig upstairs and dealing with getting fired is probably safer than doing this with a Sundance with *blood dripping from his jaws* and intent to kill on the Fox's face. They decide the second door exit the Janitor ran out is the best course of action, which leaves our Stairway Quartet (with a mildly shellshocked and slightly limping Donatello at the rear).

The Lab begins to have barking when the grenade explodes in the adjacent room, that guy that Sally de-pinned is probably not going to be having a good rest of his night. .

A lot of barking. And whining.

The entire lab is filled with dogs in those cages. Red nose pitbull mixes. Most aren't altered from their original state of being - some of them even have collars. Most are aged. At least eight years.

The big one, though, has a limp foot pressed against the front.

And the man just smiles as Alopex attempts to kick him.

The kick passes through him, causing him to glitch a little bit.

"Sorry, I'm afraid that wasn't an answer I was hoping for. Better luck next time."

Alopex has posed:
Oh. Hologram? Cool. The Tentetsutou slices through it next, for a bit of emphasis, before the Alopex is able to compose herself enough that the rest of the room finally comes into focus for both her eyes and ears. Dogs. Barking. All .. Pits? ... Oh. Oooooooh these SOBs. (not the dogs.) "...Kai?"

After asking the name, she starts roaming along the cages before spotting a 'larger' one which she moves toward immediately. "... That you..?"

Kainashi has posed:
In the larger cage, Alopex can see a shape, curled. One limp foot against the cage door. One leg bent and patched up. Dark eyes and a mess of slightly curling reddish 'hair atop a scarred up face and muzzle. A red nose, twitching at the familiar scents, ears flicked back at the sound of all the barking.

And then there's the 'thumpthumpthump' of a tail beating against metal, and then a hand wraps against the thick wire at the front of the cage, too small for Kai to stand up in, and she pulls herself forward, the other hand reaching out, bruised and scared knuckles and fingers and broken nails reaching out for Alopex.

    ThumpThumpThump goes the tail.

Sally Pride has posed:
Barking. LOTS of barking.

Sally glances into the lab now that the guards finally wised up. Is she surprised the see Null was kidnapping other dogs, probably in some attempt to duplicate Kainashi? Not the slightest. Is she surprised at seeing JUST HOW MANY dogs there are? Maybe a little.

And in cages. She remembers being in a cage. Absolutely hating it. The string of curses that is only drowned out by said barking around them makes that clear.

Eventually she reclaims her senses. Sees that Alopex has found Kainashi amongst the canine cacophony.

So Sally goes to start breaking open cages. Just ripping doors and locks off, much like she ripped that rotor blade off a helicopter once. "Best to let these pound puppies be dog gone before the scientists come back."

Sundance has posed:
That's what he thought. The guards that scatter away from Sundance are not chased, as the coyote instead moves further in, finding the lab where Alopex is, with the hologram. As soon as he sees the hologram, he hurls his tomahawk off of his belt, which passes through the hologram and slams into the wall, embedding itself, "You son of a bitch. Of course you wouldn't be here yourself, you goddamn yellow bastard!"

Clearly Sundance recognizes who that is. But he's not lucky enough for him to ACTUALLY be here. No. It'll have to wait, "You're a dead man, Doc. You might not think it, but you're a corpse." He starts looking around for the hologram generator, so he can put an end to the doctor's inevitable gloating.

Raphael has posed:
"Cowards! Run away!" Raph shouts as the guards run like hell. He looks pretty sour about it, but he often looks sour. He tromps through into the room with the dogs. His sour look becomes enraged, and he rounds on the hologram.

"You listen, and you listen good. We're taking our friend, and the rest of these dogs out of here. Next, we're going to find you, and I'm going to make you wish I had it in me to kill you. Then we're going to find your boss, and their boss. All the way to the top. This is the beginning of your end, pal. Make your peace."

He turns his back on the hologram and sets about opening cages, his expression softening slightly in compassion for these innocent animals while Alopex gets Kainashi free.

Kainashi has posed:
"Ah, yes, Subject Alpha-626. How nice of you to join us. You know, I had offered our friend here the broken subject if she'd hand you and Pride over." the doc gives a feral grin with too many teeth. He looks around the ensemble, and then gives a slight frown.

"Well. I'll not worry about this, then. I'd rather you come along voluntarily, but it appears that I'll have to try again another time." he states with a droll expression, and then the hologram quits.

There are now a lot of red and white pitbulls that appear to be passingly familiar with one another. There's sniffing and snuffling, play-bowing and barking and one sits on Raphael's foot as he opens cages, looking up with a smooshed face and a tongue out to the side.

Alopex can confirm that's it's Kai in the cage, reaching out for her.

Alopex has posed:
There's a hand in hands moment when Kai reaches out, "We got you," the fox insists before she lets go to take care of the lock. "Careful for a second.." she suggests before the Tentetsutou makes short work of the lock. Once she has the cage door open she'd reach out again and slowly pull her out and basically heft her as best she can, careful of every single injury she can see. "Easy.."

She will not say no to help if someone wanders over. There are clearly taller mutants here than Alopex.

Sundance has posed:
There's a snarl from Sundance as the doctor calls him by that name, "I'll be seein' you." He responds, before the hologram blips out. He moves over and grabs his tomahawk out of the wall, and then moves back to where Alopex and Kai are. He crouches down to put one of Kai's arms over his shoulder, "Ma'am. Lemme help you." He says, as he moves to help her up, "I'm Sundance. Sorry I shot you in the face the other day."

Raphael has posed:
Raph would give the fizzling hologram a rude gesture, but he doesn't have the right fingers. Instead, he just grinds his teeth, and stoops down to pet the dog that has sat on his foot. "Feels good to be out of that cage, huh buddy?" He scratches right behind the ears, because all doggos like that.

He straightens, looking over the rest of the group. "Let's get out of here."

Sally Pride has posed:
To be clear, Sally did see the hologram. She just pointedly didn't acknowledge it, because that's just what the asshole would of wanted. That and most of her rage was simmering at this point, being taken out on the cages to free dogs who deserved no part of this. She does look over with concern, but sees Alopex and Sundance already have Kainashi in hand. "What Raph said. Let's get out of here, then worry about wounds." And getting the rest of the woofers taken care of.

Kainashi has posed:
Kai winces slightly, and she's pulled out of the cage wearing a sort of... not quite technical romper. There's thankfully no cybernetics hanging off her. The dogs are all happily borking as the sounds of sirens start drifting in from the vents.

THe very meatball-esque bully that was sitting on Raphael's foot accepts the scritches behind the ears, continuing to sit on Raphael's foot, and just waddles after the bandana'd ninja guy.

Kainashi loops her good arm around Alopex, and she turns her head slightly towards her, and very gently hugs the fox.

There's no words from her, but she's obviously crying, the fur around her eyes wet and dark from tears before she turns to Sundance, and gives a weak, mildly confused thumbs up... she doesn't quite remember, but hey, she probably would have punched herself in the face.

And with the sirens drawing closer, when the two police first responders show up with EASTMAN and LAIRD on their nametags, they find unconcious guards, a whole bunch of guys in various states of well-being in armor, and a bunch of broken, empty cages, and hooks missing an awful lot of leashes.

In the morning, there are a decent amount of no-kill and bully breed shelters and rescues that have been carefully broken into, and two or three canines left behind.

There are even more homes where their well-loved and gone-missing pets named Spike, Faye and Jet were returned, from the Cowboy Bebop Rescue litter.

Their mother, the absolutely aged Mama Bebop was returned home and with a new ribbon on her, tail wagging and all.

And probably Raphael gets to share his bed with that meathead pitty who farted himself awake at least three times after consuming an entire cheese pizza on his own.
