Date of Scene: 18 February 2023

Synopsis: Bruce...sporting a rockstars body comes to check in on Clea and informs her of what all is going on. Which...is A LOT!
Cast of Characters: Clea, Bruce Banner

Clea has posed:
Clea really messed up.

Like...majorly messed up!

The white haired woman had awoken with a headache after the whole ordeal with the Hulk and she'd set about trying to fix whatever she had done. She wasn't sure if there had been any other lingering effects, but, it was just a matter of time before they started to pop up. She'd made herself very scarce in the masnion and mainly was in her room or on another plane to see what threads were lingering around.

The woman has arcane tomes all over the place and the lines of magic are bright and cheerful through out the room.

The complete opposite of what Clea is. She's currently brooding and looking like she lost her last friend.

Her only friend.

Bruce Banner has posed:
There comes a knock at her door. An insistent knock. "Clea, Clea are you ok?" It is not a voice she would recognize. And when she opens the door, it would not be a face she recognizes, either. Unless perhaps she recognized him from the dream last night.

Clea has posed:
Clea heard the knock, but it takes her a minute to get to the door, "I don't have time..." she was almost going to finish it. But the person knew her name. She peeks out the door to look at the man, squinting her violet-blue eyes at him. "I'm far from alright, but I'm dealing with an emergency." she states.

"Can...I help with something?" she asks him.

Bruce Banner has posed:
Peering back into the door, the man sighs. "Well, you've already helped, so that is good." He smiles at her brightly. "But, you know, there were some, uh, side effects?" He raises his hand in front of his face and wriggles his fingers. "Please don't ask me to explain how, because that's why I'm here, but I'm your hot yoga partner."

A pause. "I mean, your partner, for hot yoga, not..." He sighs. "I'm Bruce."

Clea has posed:
Clea is staring at the pretty man for a moment, "Helped?" she asks. "Wait, were you in that mess the other night? I'm..." she trails off as he continues. "Bruce?! How did you get into another..." she gets it.

"Ah crap." she mutters to herself. Then she opens the door and reaches out to grab his arm to gently tug him into the room. The door closes behind them. "I wonder who has your body." she states as she looks him over.

"I'm really sorry about all of this. I'm trying to fix it." she tells him in a rushed tone. "I don't know how many people were effected and I don't want people stuck in other bodies. It can be unsettling." she tells him as she wrings her hands a little. She was nervous. Which was odd for the Sorceress. "Are you okay? You aren't hurt are you?" she asks him.

Bruce Banner has posed:
Waving his hands up and down, Bruce smirks at Clea. "Meet Mike Hannigan. Coincidentally, next door neighbor to my cousin, Jennifer Walters, and current occupant of my body."

He leans back against the door, watching her react, and he reaches out to place a hand on her shoulder. "Listen, it's ok. It's not your fault." Well, technically, that was not at all true. It was 100% her fault. Including the not believing Bruce when he said that the Hulk was too powerful to mess with, even magically. But Bruce could see she already felt bad about it.

What's why she was nervous, right? Because she had made a mistake? No other reason, for sure.

"I'm fine, actually. Never better." He smiles. "There's no Hulk in here." He taps the side of his head. "And, interestingly...there's no Hulk in my body, either. He's just...gone."

Clea has posed:
"Well, I guess you could have gotten stuck in a raccoon or something else as well. That might have been a bit harder to deal with." Clea gives a bit of a chuckle. She winces when he mentions his cousin, "I'm really sorry about this." she tells him. She gives him a soft frown, "It is one hundred percent my fault. I should have been more careful." she states.

"I should have just left things alone." she shakes her head.

"What do you mean there's no Hulk?" she asks him with a bit of a worried look. "Bruce, he can't just disappear. He's got to be /somewhere/. Even if he's not in your body." she states. "What if I lost him somewhere?" she frowns more.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"Do raccoons dream?" Bruce seems excited at the prospect of theorizing on their sleep patterns. But another shake of his head. "No, it's no one's fault but the Hulk's. He is the one apparently who messed with you, and he's the reason you were doing it in the first place." To help him, of course. But the Hulk is always easier to blame.

The idea that the Hulk is out there, somewhere. Bruce shivers. Mike shivers, really. "I mean. You don't think he was just, you know..." He thinks for a moment. "What happened after everyone was kicked back to their own bodies?"

Clea has posed:
"I...am unsure of that. But we could add it to a long list of things to investigate." Clea chuckles to that. There was some stress that might be aleviated with the humor. "Bruce, I can take the blame for what I did. It wasn't his fault. I invaded and that's probably how he took it." she tells him.

"He didn't want to talk about things, either." she sighs softly.

"I mean, he could be gone, I highly doubt it though. He might be just floating around as well or in another body. Though I'm sure if he was we'd probably already know it by now with someone being destructive." she admits. "And I'm not entirely sure what will happen. I just need to fix things before it gets any worse." she states.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"No, you were welcomed into my mind. He choose to talk it as an invasion. HIM. Not you." Bruce is trying to make her feel better. Maybe he should have voiced more concern about how he felt the Hulk would react. He did not push hard enough, and that is more on him than her.

He considers her point. "If the Hulk was still in my body, he'd be out now. No one else would be able to restrain him." A touch arrogant, perhaps, but Bruce knows the Hulk better than anyone. "Has this ever happened before? People being swapped like this?"

Clea has posed:
Clea doesn't talk for a moment and then there is a nod to him, "Alright. We'll just have to be more careful in the future." she states. "I honestly wasn't wanting to hurt or upset Hulk. I simply wanted to help both of you." she admits to that. "Or see if there was some way of it." she gives him a soft smile.

"Oh yeah he'd not be happy at all. So I guess this is a number one sign that he's MIA for now." she states. "And I'm sure it probably has. There's just a lot of texts to pour over." she states. "Thankfully I can use a few tricks to read more." she grins to that.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"He doesn't like it when people try to help him." Bruce sighs. "I can't say that I blame him, honestly. It's almost always a trick." He returns her smile.

"Well, maybe we can rest and relax for a little bit." He grins. "I mean, apparently I took over a rock star's body, so that's something, right?"

Clea has posed:
Clea gives a look to Bruce-Mike and there's a soft smile, "I'd never try to trick you or him, Bruce. I have no reasons to." she admits. "But...that is going to take proving. I'm not expecting him to like me, but I'd like to let him know that he doesn't need to be so...scary to people." she points out.

The suggestion of relaxing for a bit makes her look a bit guilty, "I..." she starts. "I guess I could eat or talk while going through things." she states. "So how does being switched feel? I would bet it is supremely weird." she tells him as she moves to find a seat.

"Wait, what will you do if groupies see you outside?" she asks him.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"He doesn't like anyone, Clea." Bruce-Mike laughs. "I mean, me, he hates, but I don't think anyone has gotten past the tolerate stage." He smiles. "Even the fellow Avengers, that he will listen to from time to time. Does he like them? I'm not so sure."

He moves to take a seat as well. At least he has nothing else he can do. "It's weird, but honestly, I can feel the lack of the Hulk, and that is very relieving. Mike says he can't feel him in my body, either. So..."

Groupies. Bruce laughs. "I'm not going outside. I'm just going to stay in here with you the whole time."

Clea has posed:
Clea gives a curious look to him as she motions for him to sit at the little sitting area she has laid out, "Why does he hate you? Have you explained this before and I've missed it?" she asks him. "Well...maybe he will get past the tolerate stage with someone." she shrugs to that. Not explaining much of it.

"He probably doesn't like being used for the 'nuke' and then being put back in a box. Who would really?" she asks him. "Don't answer that." she adds with a shake of her head.

"I don't think I managed to eradicate him. I don't know where he might have gotten off to, but, this does mean that you don't have to worry about going nuclear right now." she points out with a soft smile. "Oh, you're staying here? I'm guessing your regular body is next door?" she asks him curiously.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"I mean. If _you_ could only come out and live your life when someone else was willing to let you, and that person did everything they could to avoid letting you out, how would _you_ feel about them?" Bruce shrugs. "Let's just say that we are a zero sum game. Generally speaking."

"Yeah. For now. Maybe for a while, who knows?" He sighs. "I hope he is not somewhere causing trouble."

His cheeks flush a bit at her question. "Uh, I didn't mean, like, in this room, really." Despite the fact that that was precisely what he had said. "I think Mike is staying in my room. I was going to..." He is rapidly running out of runway.

Clea has posed:
"My life was like that before I came here. So, I guess hate is about the right emotion." Clea tells Bruce with a look over to him. "I'm sure if he was somewhere causing trouble it would be on the news. Unless he's unconcious." she states to that.

His blush makes her smile just a touch, "You can have the bed. Don't want the rockstar to get a back ache or anything." she teases him. "Bruce, you're fine. I promise." she chuckles. "I should get back to working on a fix for this and then we'll figure things out." she tells him.

"With you and Hulk that is." she adds as she reaches for another tome.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"Really?" Bruce frowns at that thought. "I hadn't realized." Clea had not spoken much of the Dark Dimension, but he had gotten bits and pieces and filled in a lot with assumptions. "I flipped on the news first thing as soon as I realized I wasn't him. He can't stay quiet."

"I mean, uh..." This is not something that Bruce seems able to compute. Was it a tease? It was. Certainly. "I can sleep in the lab," he says quietly, completing his full on back pedaling.

"I don't think we should mess with the Hulk anymore." He shakes his head. "He's my burden to bear, and all of these people are dealing with this because of it. It's not fair to them."

Clea has posed:
"It's not important." Clea states to him when he asks about her life before here. "I'll keep track of the news as well. I'm sure if everyone else is finding out then SHIELD and the Avengers will be watching as well." she tells him. "Hopefully nothing gets broken." she tells him.

"Bruce, seriously, I don't mind the company and I'm not going to try to bother anything. Also, the lab is uncomfortable." she frowns at that.

"I'm not getting much sleep as it is and I've got a lot of work to do." she points out.

His talk on not messing with the Hulk anymore makes her nod to him, "I won't try anything else." she agrees. "But we're supposed to share some of our burdens. Maybe you need someone that can do that." she tells him.

Bruce Banner has posed:
This is a slightly different conversation than he was expecting. Bruce watches Clea for a moment, and then nods slowly. "Yeah. Actually. That's a good idea." He is still thinking it through, of course, his voice having that distinct air of thoughtfulness behind it as he speaks.

Then he nods. "I'd be happy to share the burden if I knew how, Clea. Trust me."
