14204/Pizza Time

Pizza Time

Location:	Rupert's Pizza
Synopsis:	The gang had pizza and appreciated Kai a lot. Woo!

Alopex has posed:
Guess who hasn't been to Rupert's in a while?
Guess who's getting to go to Rupert's since Sensei thinks they've recovered enough?
Guess who's the best dog ever?

All obvious answers! Welcome to Rupert's! Woody is even here! The reception is -extremely- warm since the man is as close to a best human friend as some of the mutants can get!

There's totally a Carnivore's Favorite on the table a few minutes after everyone arrives and it is huge.

Sally Pride has posed:
Some questions don't need the answers given because they're already known and undeniably right. That applies now.

The first thing Sally did was give the good girl a proper Surrogate Big Sister hug. "We're just happy to have you back." Then takes her spot at the table, because there's going to be food to celebrate with soon enough.

Sundance has posed:
It seems Sundance is still the new guy on the team, though as he strolls in he takes his hat off, and finds his way over to the table, "Thanks for the invite, Alopex?" He says, with a grin, before waiting for Sally to finish her hug of Kai before he gives her one, although a bit more gentle, "Good to see you again." He says to Kai, before he slips her a small bag of jelly beans.

Kainashi has posed:
    Some answers don't need questions. Some questions need no answers. Some dogs need pizza.

    Kai seems more herself. She's wearing a T-shirt and ripped jeans, and a studded collar to help hide the scarring on the side of her throat. Her tail is wagging like crazy, and she eagerly hugs Sally back, practically lifting the lioness up and off the floor.

    The same level of hug is given to Sundance, living HIM up gently, and accepting the bag of jellybeans with a mouthed 'thank you' to him, her nose wiggling, eyes darting over to the pizza, and she just seems to be all buttwiggles and slightly dancy on her feet.

Alopex has posed:
Jelly beans? There are no jelly beans here. Alopex has not seen them! Not that she'd mind anyway, ... long as she got at least one or two. But that could be a thing for later. For -now- the fox has a seat by the table, pizza delivered, already in a box cause seriously, its a massive pie. Maybe Woody expected four more? Hard to say. "It's nice to see everyone. Again, thanks for the lot of it," is said. She felt it needed to be especially with how her emotions came roaring out but well, 'family' is a line she does not let people cross.

Sally Pride has posed:
If nothing else the other quartet can have some leftovers. It IS a big pie... and they're probably the sort to eat cold leftover pizza.

But right now it's hot and covered in meat and that's enough for Sally. "And you too, Woody. We appreciate you putting up with us weirdos and our eccentric eating habits." She's going to pull a slice free as soon as she can. "Hey, we're family. Family looks out for each other... and kicks the asses of people that mess with said family."

Kainashi has posed:
    Kai helps herself to a big slice on a paper plate, giving an agreeable nod and thumbs up to the cook, to Alopex, and she secrets the jellybean bag into a pocket. Those are for later. For now?

    She takes off a chunk of the pizza, takes a deep breath, and lets it out with a soft 'haaaaah' sound, nose still wriggling.

Sundance has posed:
Getting lifted up off the ground, Sundance grins and then waits until he's set down before he slides over to the table proper. He quickly grabs some of the offered Carnivore meal though, "Thanks Woody." He says with a grin, before putting his hat on his knee.

Alopex has posed:
Being the cool dude that he is, Woody's typical charm is that of, "Anything for you guys! Let the brothers know they got one waiting for them when they stop in!" And he's off for refills and kitchen stuff as needed afterward.

Meanwhile, Alopex has taken a slice for herself and is a bite in as she relaxes against the chair she's in. "I missed this.."

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride nods to Woody. "We'll make sure the message gets passed along. They're... doing the ninja seclusion thing, but they'll find out."

Sally has kept a passive eye on the old mall, mostly because she was still using the shop she'd claim as extra storage space -- mainly for parts and tools she didn't want Pete or Seymour hurting themselves with -- and that's how she'd found Kai's previous valentine thankyous. She's not really surprised the brothers and Splinter have moved on to a new lair, and only a little annoyed at being out of the loop. They knew how to get ahold of her when she was needed.

She takes a bit bite of her slice, thoughfully chewing, then swallowing and letting out a content murmur as she settled in her seat. If lions could actually purr, she probably would be. But the happy sounds get the point across regardless.

Kainashi has posed:
    Kainashi's contentedly but quietly chewing on her pizza, not really able to take on any of the conversational duties, though her tail is still sweeping back and forth behind her, scarred up face relaxed in a happy expressin, ears relaxed as she looks around to this half of her 'family'.

    She pokes at Alopex's shounder, and then points to herself, and holds up two fingers. She also missed just... hanging.

Sundance has posed:
"Hey Sally." Sundance says, as he holds up his slice of pizza, "I think we need to have a Mutanimals night here one night." He grins a bit, "Though we'll definitely need to keep Pete out of the kitchen."

Alopex has posed:
To Kai, a nod, but only after finishing the bite of her slice that Alopex had taken. "Well, we got you back, and that's really what mattered. I would not have it any other way," she tells before peering slowly over to Sundance. "Yes. No Pete. Never Pete, not even once." This is mostly in regards to the 'food' the avian makes but still. He is ... he has an aura about him. It makes you suffer 'Int Damage' for sure.

Sally Pride has posed:
"That and probably have to drag Liz away from her lab kicking and protesting the whole time," Sally adds with a laugh. Though the gesturing between Kai and Alopex makes her sigh a little. "I do wish we could do something about your voice." That was cruel punishment, even by Null standards. "But what really matters is we got you back otherwise in one piece, yes." She's not going to go farther into the Pidgeon Pete matter. They just all accept that he's weird and trying to help, and occasionally being able to talk to the normal pidgeons around New York does help. Occasionally.

Kainashi has posed:
    Kai gives a little smile, and then picks some sausage off her pizza, giving a soft huff of breath out her nose. She knows how tough it is. She taps her fingers on the table, leaving a few greasy fingerprints there before her ears go slack, and she seems apologetic about the whole debarked thing.

Sundance has posed:
"I'm glad you two made that side trip to the desert." Sundance says, as he looks between the trio, "I didn't tell you, Kai. They found me in a cage in a Null lab. I got lucky they stopped, otherwise I'd be stuck there still." The look on his face shows that he's happy to have folks to share this kind of thing with, for once.

Alopex has posed:
The drop in Kai's ears is nigh-instantly responded to with a pat on the top of Kai's head, "You're fine, and you don't get to be sorry for something they did to you. We're happy you're here and we wouldn't have it any other way," Alopex quickly points out. "We are family, Kai. We will be right beside you through thick and thin. That is a promise." MORE PIZZA IS REQUIRED, Clearly.

As for Sundance, "Yeah, our new friend here also has a lot of experience with Null, which we will ah, be 'following-up with very, very soon," she hints, getting another slice for herself after making sure Kai's plate also has a follow up slice. "I'm tired of them, but now they've made it personal."

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride likewise reachs over, though it's to give Kai's hand a reassuring squeeze. "It wasn't your fault, so stop looking like that. It's only natural we wish we could help more with the problems you still have. But Pex teaching you to communicate with your hands will do for now." More personal for some of them, but Sally doesn't want to make the moment any more dour. They're suppose to be celebrating.

So instead she ends the solemn moment by gulping down most of her drink, and requesting a refill before digging into another slice.

Kainashi has posed:
    Kai gives a mopey sort of smile on her scarred face, her ears turning from Sundance to Alopex, where both ears draw down as she gets a headpat, to Sally as she pats her hand. The canine's tail gives a little bit of a sweep behind her before she helps herself to the slice placed on her plate, and drinks some of the rootbeer settled before her, rubbing the back of her head.

Sundance has posed:
Sundance spots Kai's ears, after a moment, "Yeah you leave them to me. It's been personal for a while with me." He says, feeling like a big brother who needs to protect his little sister, or a member of his pack. The concepts get a bit crossed sometimes in his head, "We'll always have your back though, Kai."

Alopex has posed:
The pup will probably get a little squeeze around the shoulders as a follow up before Alopex really gets back into the meal and clears it out with the water she asked for from Woody. Extra ice. A nod is given to Sundance just to agree with him. "Pretty sure the brothers would feel the same way too."

Sally Pride has posed:
"I think between the brothers, the Mutanimals, and the general disposition of the people out there that call themselves 'heroes'? Null doesn't realize how much they're biting off. And will eventually ch--" Stop. "Wait, that's a bad saying to use while eating. Nevermind." More pizza instead.

Sundance has posed:
"I bit off more than I could chew once." Sundance says, after swallowing his pizza, not even thinking about how weird of a sentence that is when he says it.
