- Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam sit atop a certain building near the high school. From his bag he produced a flute and after a quick change a certain Viltrumite might notice, Billy Batson begins playing an average cover of 'Moon River." He struggles with it but produces a recognizeable song, Audrey Hepburn not included but he could dream. After someone told him whoAudrey Hepburn was. Anyway it's a pretty song.
- Sunny Harlow has posed:
Sunny was decidedly unaware of both the song and the movie, it was very much before her time! Still, she was on her way to their meeting with her bag slung over her shoulder and in her current costume while she zoomed her way to touch down, blinking a little at the display of the musical instrument. "Hey there!"
- Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam takes the flute away after finishing a chorus. "Hey there, stranger!" He looks around, just to be careful, and gets up to give her a hug. "I missed you. Despite the phone calls and texts. How have you been?" H releases and holds her at arm's length to look at her.
- Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Not too bad," she grins, returning the hug before she gestures to herself and her current suit. "I got caught in a hurricane, worked plenty in the cafe and some of the customers saw my sketches and suggested that your idea of Cosplay wasn't a bad one...Oh, and I uh...donated blood." Yeah, that was probably an easier way of explaining it.
- Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam peers at Sunny. "How did you donate blood? Did you save a pint from when you were 12? There is more to this story. Shazam!" And Shazam is there. His eyes unfocus as he checks the Wisdom of Solomon. Yeah more to the story. "Did you get hurt? Did someone hurt you?" He puts a hand on her arm gently.
Why yes; someone hurting Sunny would get hit over the head with a small moon if Shazam found them.
- Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Noooooot quite," Sunny offers, making to settle herself down on the rooftop and stretch out, shaking her head. "I'm not hurt either. Y'know I'm tough, and I heal better than most do around here. Basically someone who was starving and hurt came into the diner while I was working the night shift and kinda needed help so...I helped them?" Yep, that was simplifying, but it was the nicest way to put it.
- Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam settles next to Indestructibelle. He nods, guessing at the nature of the starving guest. "I see. And this starving person needed blood." He plays a little more on his flute. "When I started as Shazam, after I moved to New York, I met this lovely lady -who I can't name. She was very kind to me and very lonely and she needed blood too. She had her sources and didn't hurt anyone. She... I tried researching a cure for her but it was beyond me. So I get it. There's good and bad in everyone."
"That was very kind and brave of you to offer. You're a true hero."
- Sunny Harlow has posed:
"It didn't really have any long lasting effects...I didn't turn into a spooky alien vampire and I just needed a nap. She even finished cleaning up the store for me while I napped so..." Sunny trails off, clearly letting things rest with that and stretching out with a little laugh. "Maybe when I get my degree, I should see if I can get a job designing super suits. I seem to have to work on my own all the time."
- Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam slips his arm around hers. "A vampire named Sunny would be quite ironic. What if the vampire gets super powers from your blood? this was a nice, vampire, right? Mmmm okay. Probably no problem. I don't think vampires work that way anyway. Not much precedence for it though." Then he gets a glint in his eyes, "If you want to do cosplay, I am going to start streaming soon. I could give you part of my show, handle the camera and such."
- Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Right?" she muses before leaning into the embrace, shrugging her shoulders. "Well, you could help me promote. I showed them my halloween costume, the Venus one...and the Captain Marvel one, y'know?" A grin, Sunny shrugs. "The were nice about it!"
- Billy Batson has posed:
Venus? The nearly 18 year old inside Shazam's head sits up at that. "Hey did I ever show you how I can make a toga. All those Greek guys in my had come in handy, King Solomon too. I made one for a girl who's skirt caught fire. She gave me the flute and started me on it. She was a Mutant. Things kept catching fire around her. I tried to help her too." He leans against Sunny and says in a small voice, "I wanted to help a lot... and got nowhere a lot. I did better hitting stuff. Sometimes I thnk people are better without my help and I should stick to hitting things... especially demons."
- Sunny Harlow has posed:
"A toga?" Sunny repeats before laughing softly and looking up at him. "You remember I'm studying fashion and design, right?" she teases before his comment about the mutant and the flute earns a little 'Ah' of understanding. "Makes sense! Heck of a power though...and weird present."
His last comment earns a mock pout before she shakes her head. "You're fine...and you make a good fire man?"
- Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam peers. "A toga. No sewing necessary. I'd show you right now if I had some fabric, wise guy -gal. It comes in handy. I can sow you several variations on Bronze Age fashion, all the styles in the courts of Solomon, what the warriors wore to Troy, and the raiment of the Halls of Olympus. Gods have raiment. Mortals have duds. Do you have a portfolio yet?"
- Sunny Harlow has posed:
A pout, she reaches down to draw out her cape and unfastens it before slinging it around her own shoulders in a quick improvised toga that admittedly was more costume than traditional. Still, the girl tilts her head to the side. "I mean..." she trails off, listening to his words before biting her bottom lip. "Just the sketch book and a few selfies for now. Guess I've got some homework, huh?"
