Location: Balder's Hotel Suite
Synopsis: Morrigan brings cookies and visits.
Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Balder

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan had been a bit scarce on contact. That was mainly because she had the school and hospital to deal with on top of being a Godling. It was nice enough out that she'd taken the motorcycle from Happy Harbor and down into the heart of NYC. Maybe she should have warned the Prince she was coming, but, she figured he might like late night visitors.

Or He'd kick her out. It was something that they'd see.

She'd brought an offering though. The bike is parked and her bag gathered from her storage on the back of the seat. She had found her way up to the room and given herself a bit of a talking to before she knocked on the door. All that was left was the waiting.

Balder has posed:
Little conveniences are wonderful. Hot showers, comfy beds - all things one tends to miss when out on diplomatic talks or peace negotiations in war-torn realms. Balder had thanked all that be for the hot water capacity in the suite, having enjoyed the longest of showers just moments ago. Dressed in his more casual wear now, he hears a knock on the door. There's a pause, not having forseen any prophetic trouble - still. He wandered to the door, opening it.

The Prince smiles. "Morrigan! Come in, come in!" He offers, sweeping his arm to indicate she's welcome in. "Forgive me if it is a mess." Truly, it's not - his more clothing is folded nicely and draped over a chair. A sword rests on the table. "What brings you by?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan wasn't worried about waiting. She was definitely wondering if he was even here. Then the door knob turned and he'd appeared. There's a look over him and she gives a bit of an impish smile, "I apologize for not calling first." she tells him. "It was a good night for a long drive. So I picked up some Insomnia cookies on the way over and thought you might like them." she tells him as she offers the box over.

"As a way to beg forgiveness for interruptions, your Highness." she grins to that. She's dressed in jeans, black t-shirt and leather jacket. Her gloves have already been pulled off and her helmet is hooked onto her backpack.

She steps in and allows him to close the door behind them, "It's very far from messy, Balder." she tells him with a chuckle. His question makes her shrug, "I wanted to check in and see how you were. And didn't want to do it over the phone." she admits.

Balder has posed:
"Insomnia cookies?" Balder smirks. "That sounds the opposite of what most people would want, aye?" The man muses. "Make yourself at home." A look to the phone, then to her. "I can order coffee from the servants here?" Room service is wonderful! "And there is no need to ask forgiveness. I am currently on rest - waiting and watching for more news." He smiles. "Frigga is doing well, more comforted that I am away from war."

The man smiles to her. "Thank you for concern. It is good to have friends on Midgard. It is different from home, so having allies and friendly faces to meet with is very comforting." He assures. "How have you been? How has your sight been?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"It's just the name of the bakery that makes them. They are still nice and warm. Coffee or hot chocolate would be nice." she tells him as she looks around the suite. "This is very posh." she tells him. Then there's a soft chuckle, "They aren't servants, Balder." she points out to him in a gentle way. "They are staff. They wouldn't take kindly to being called servants." she states. "Were you injured?" she asks him. "I'm glad that your mother is doing well." she adds with a soft smile.

"Do you not have friends on Asgard?" she asks him curiously. She finds a place to sit and there is a moment taken to slip off her jacket and lay it over her lap, "Oh I'm alright. Planning for the end of the year for the school and some other projects. Thinking we're going to skip the school trip this year due to what happened last year." she states.

Balder has posed:
There's an ah, from Balder. "It was not meant as an insult, of course. I had guessed with the name of room service." He chuckles, moving over to order from the /staff/ on the phone. Hot cocoa for both! Once done, he looks around. "I like to be comfortable. It was something I enjoyed growing up in the palace." He admits, not embarassed in the least. A look down to himself, and a shake of his head. "It takes quite a bit to injure me."

"I have many friends there, aye. It is just that I am often away on missions for Father. I am a bit of a diplomat, after all." He chuckles. "Where do you take the students on a trip? Historic sights? Cultural ones?" He rubs at his beard. "And what happened last year?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Oh I figured it wasn't, just...wanted to sorta let you know that it might hit some others in the wrong way." Morrigan explains. "You could probably just tell them you aren't from Earth and they'd understand though." she smiles to that. "Did I catch you right after shower?" she asks him as she eyes the robe. No complaints there really! "And it's good that you're practically bulletproof." she admits.

"We always need a good diplomat." she grins to that. "And we went to Rome a few years ago. Last year was Cairo." she tells him.

"I was murdered last year. Sort of wanted to give the students a break from potential mishaps this year." she states simply.

Balder has posed:
A look down. "Aye. I was soaking in the hot spray. It is reinvigorating - I enjoy it more often than not. Baths are good, but the patter of water over you is always better, in my experience." A chuckle. "Hot waterfalls are rare, and generally dangerous." He smiles. There's a nod of agreement. "War is easy to start, difficult to end." He admits. "I have seen too much of it in my years."

"So cultural and historic." A cant of his head as she mentions her murder. "Yet here you are, standing as a goddess." A slight smile. "I am sure it was traumatic for them. Do they know what ... who you have become now?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives him another smile, "Yeah, they seem like they would be dangerous." she muses to that. "I mean, you're the god of Peace and Light, so of course you're going to want to talk people out of fighting. Which is a good thing." she tells him. "I'll try to steer clear of starting any wars so that your job is easier." she winks at him.

"Yes, it's a bit of a mix. We try to make it educational, but also relaxing." she explains. "I mean, the summoning ritual the Cult of the Morrigan did brought the wrong one back, so I'm just wondering when the other shoe will drop." she chuckles.

"I think only a few of the teachers know. My ex helped to get me back, but...that's not really something that matters now." she shrugs a little helplessly.

"Anyways." she shakes her head. "I was wanting to see about spending a few weeks in Ireland. I have a few...things that need to be taken care of and it would be easier if I was there for it." she tells him.

Balder has posed:
Balder laughs. "I would appreciate the avoidance of war, indeed." He nods, in thanks. The door is knocked upon, and a staff member wheels in the cocoa. There's a polite nod to each, and Balder offers a tip for the dilligent employee. Once they leave, he motions to the drinks. "Shall we, then?"

He moves to find a seat, smirking. "If you wait for the worst, it will make itself known. Best to prepare, and live life to the fullest without the overhanging clouds of doubt, Morrigan." He winks to her. The matter of her ex is left for now.

"You had mentioned Ireland previously. It would be a good trip, aye? Where your godhood stems from?"
