Mary Jane Watson has posed:
It's taken some back and forth for awhile. Between Mary Jane's juggling of things with her job, and with Starfire's own numerous obligations it's taken awhile to arrange a time convenient for both to meet. But at the cafe attached to the Themysciran Embassy, Mary Jane is sliding towards a table that she has a reservation at.

Koriand'r has posed:
Schedules and heroics, jobs and meetings...but here they were. Koriand'r herself wasn't even wearing her costume. Instead? She's actually dressed in a dark purple dress. Hair down and practically glowing as per normal, she was headed for the cafe and coming to a stop before spotting her fellow redhead and arranged date. A smile on her lips, she moved closer, lifting a hand.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Oh, wow, you look gorgeous." She would reach up and over to give a hug at the outreached hand. "Definitely way better than I ever could. Thanks for setting aside the time. I've been looking forwards to this for awhile. Not a lot of chances to talk to someone in our line of business."

Koriand'r has posed:
The hug indeed met, returned with a warm embrace from the alien girl who gives a little quiet laugh. "You do yourself a diservice," Starfire offers, gently settling down into the space at their seat. "You are beautiful and you know it Mary Jane. After all...we did -meet- in a job largely dependant." A little blunt, but that -was- Kori.

Grinning brightly, there's a little tilt of her head. "It is wonderful to see you again, especially given how memorable the last was."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Thank you. You do me too much credit but thank you. And a job's a job. Nothing particularly special about it. But thank you all the same." H er cheeks would flush as she would slide in next to Starfire. "So. . What have you been up to since then?"

Koriand'r has posed:
What had she been doing? Kori ponders that for a moment, considering. "I met some interesting people...Fought some monsters, stopped a robbery in my underwear..." She pauses, giving a little quiet chuckle before looking back at MJ and she tilts her head to the side. "I am sorry...I know many would find my life...strange?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would laugh, "Sounds like you've been keeping it busy." She would squeeze Koriand'r's hand once more. "And honestly I say this as a New Yorker, that sounds fairly normal. I can't speak for the underwear thing but I'm sure that you wore it very well."

Koriand'r has posed:
A little return of the squeeze, the orange-skinned princess does indeed give a little laugh. "I suppose you are right. This city...indeed this planet, is a little strange. But that is part of what makes it wonderful to me. Even with Tamaran's different approaches to romance and intimacy? This planet is perhaps one of the best in the universe..."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would laugh, "Yeah. It's been this way for awhile. I guess that Earth is kind of new and weird to this sort of thing. I guess a lot more of the galaxy has been used to it for awhile, and here we are freaking out since Superman made his appearance." She would smile. "I'm really glad you found Earth and are happy here, Koriand'r."

Koriand'r has posed:
"As am I!" she offers brightly before lifting her gaze to the servers approaching and then back to the redhead. "You would be suprised though, how often there are still some who protest my existance or being here. Often they are the same sort who protest the existance of mutants as well."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would shake her head, "I can't fathom that. You're one of the nicest people.. Err, beings that's around. And mutants.. Have it hard. Harder than anyone can ever be justified for."

Koriand'r has posed:
"We are people," Kori offers lightly, shrugging her partially bared shoulders, "even if we are not human. In truth our species are more alike in many ways than you might think. Perhaps that is why I have fit in as I have. Although..." she pauses, raising one hand to her lips, "It was more difficult at first."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would nod over and listen, "Oh? If that's soemthing you're comfortable talking about? I totally understand if not or it's something you've done so many times there's no real reason to."
