Date of Scene: 06 March 2023
Location: Belvedere Castle
Synopsis: Clea runs into Agent Tom again and gets to learn a little more about the outside world.
Cast of Characters: Clea, Tom McCarthy

Clea has posed:
Clea had been part of a situation gone wrong, but that had finally been resolved. She still felt guilty over things though and she had all but abandoned the Avenger's Mansion due to things. The white haired sovereign had been making herself a tourist today, spending the unseasonably warm day wandering Central Park and taking in the sites.

She's hard to miss given at times she's floating. Which had given some a bit of pause. There had been a sheepish and apologetic look given to people before she'd headed into Belvedere Castle.

Her boots were not making a lot of sound, but others that were filtering out may as well have been stomping given the noise difference. She looks completely enthralled with learning of the place that she's in. So probably easy to sneak up on her.

Tom McCarthy has posed:
Tom was also out and about - sight-seeing for the evening. It wasn't often that the man had time to himself, away from the agency. Today was one of those rare times! These odd sites were always interesting for him - Digi often had something to add regarding the location, architecture, or history of the places.

He was dressed in a nice three-quarter trench, styled to match his suit. It might get cold, after all. March is known for the psychotic weather swings.

There's a prickle of his hair on the back of his neck as he feels the entrance of Clea. Magic! Glancing over his shoulder, he spots the person radiating power and smiles. Turning and heading in her direction, he offers a wave. "Hello there, Clea." He calls over. No need to startle or spook her!

Clea has posed:
Clea feels the other magical signature and there is a curious look in Tom's direction, but she recognizes him and there is a hundred watt smile given to the man, "Agent McCarthy!" she gives him a wave and heads his way. She didn't get out much. It showed.

"Are you out enjoying the weather today?" she asks him as she draws closer. "Spring seems to be a bit of a weird time. No one seems to know what the weather is going to do, but I am prepared with a raincoat just in case." she grins at that.

"How have you been?" she asks the man. Then she gives a look around and then back to him, "You aren't like...assigned to watch me here are you?" she asks him curiously.

Tom McCarthy has posed:
There's a brighter smile. "Tom, please. No need to stand on formalities, especially when I am off duty." Tom offers over. Close enough for polite conversation, he nods. "Yes, it is a fantastic day. The warmth of spring is definitely abundant, right?" He glances around. "We get treated to all sorts of weather in March, but this is one of those rare sunny days. And a raincoat is a good plan. Or umbrella."

Her question on his assignment has him chucking. "No, no. I'd not generally be seen if that were the case. It'd be hard to keep a proper eye on you if we were constantly engaging in conversation. It'd throw off your behavior." He explains, with a wink. "I've been good. Learning. Testing myself. How about yourself?"

Clea has posed:
Clea gives a look to him and there is a smile, "Tom then. I'd hate to blow your cover or something." the woman states. "I...don't really know if the temperature is delightful or not. We're built for extremes, but the breeze is nice." she tells him. "All of the flowers coming up have been very pretty. I enjoy them very much." the white haired Faltine states as she looks back towards the entrance.

There is a bit of a smile to that, "Well, I think it would be hard for you to follow me given your friend as it is." she points out gently. "And yes, that would be a hard thing. Plus it's not like I leave the mansion all that often, so you'd be pretty bored." she laughs.

"Oh I've been alright. Got punched in the face by the Hulk, had to resettle people back into their bodies...a really normal month so far." she muses to that.

Tom McCarthy has posed:
"Thankfully, I'm rarely undercover." Tom muses. "More of a guard duty, or clean up usually." A slight shrug. Clearly, he's fine with that. "Or rescue, those I really like. Harkens back to my pararescue days." A fond smile from the man. "Today is exceptional." He comments on the weather. "And March has a reputation for being very nice one day, then blustery snow the next. It keeps us on our toes." As she mentions the flowers, he grins. "I suppose you aren't allergic, then."

A look to his wrist, then back to her. "I suppose not. I don't know if he can cloak himself, but... that might be a question to ask him when training." Tom chuckles, his hands clasped in front of him. "The mansion - I am sure there are all sorts of amenities in there to keep you from being bored, right?"

Now, there's something you don't hear every day. "Punched... in the face... by the Hulk?" He blinks. "And you're still here?" He cants his head to either side, as if looking for bruises. "Your people are very sturdy, Clea."'

Clea has posed:
"I don't think I'm allergic to anything really." Clea admits. "I think it's more that if I am, then I'm not sure what I am allergic too, though I guess with not being human I probably don't have to worry on that." she states. "Are you allergic to anything Tom?" she asks him curiously. "Not because I want to kill you or anything. I just haven't heard much on allergies." she explains.

"I will try not to poke him too much." she smiles to the bracelet. "What sort of training? Do you do...magical and combat training?" she asks him. She was highly interested in that! "I mean...right now I've made myself scarce at the mansion. Just feeling a bit out of sorts with what happened. Guilt is a hell of a thing." she frowns to that. "I paint though and go bug Bruce when he's in the lab." she grins to that.

"Oh yeah, totally deserved it as well. I don't even blame him really. When I did get punched it messed up a spell and there was a bit of a body swap that happened with some folks. We got it all handled though thankfully." she comments. "And it hurt, but I heal exceptionally quick." she smiles to that. "Hulk's not bad. Just...doesn't like his personal space being invaded." she tells him.

Tom McCarthy has posed:
The man thinks. "Maybe some thing in your home dimension? Or element?" Tom suggests. "Or maybe nothing at all. Humans are weird - we get all sorts of odd reactions. Sensitivities, allergies - some are even fatal." He smirks. A shake of his head, the man smiling. "No, no allergies that I know of. Humans, I suppose, have these flaws to keep us in check." He teases. "Else we'd rule the universe."

A nod. "I do. Combat while learning how to weild my friend. I need to know my capabilities, when pressed." He explains. "I've been training with Witchblade." If the name means anything to Clea, he'll see! "She was there when the demon killed me." Not to much more to add to that, at least. "Guilt? About the spell?" He guesses.

"What sot of painting, oils, watercolors?" He grins. "I love watching Bob Ross videos. The man is a treasure." As she explains what incited the punch, he hrms. "Still - that would kill a normal person, no question. He... I mean, self-control is a thing."

Clea has posed:
"I'll have to keep an eye on it." Clea explains to the Agent. "Imagine just going about your day and falling over because of an allergy. That's...I wish you didn't have those." she admits. She gives a curious look over him, "I...would offer to train with you, but I feel that if I don't watch myself I might hurt someone." she admits.

"Don't know what a Witchblade is, but it sounds interesting." she explains. "Demons can be nasty things. I'm sorry about that, Tom." she tells him. "About everything really. Guilt is something that sort of follows me." she shrugs at that.

"Anything really. I've been working with acrylic lately." she states. There's a curious tilt to her head, "Bob Ross?" she asks him. "I've not heard of him. I will look him up on that Youtube app though." she tells him. "He just needs to learn that he doesn't need to try to make everyone fear him. I'm going to try to work with him more. Just build up some trust if it is possible." she explains to him. Oh this was going to go well.

Tom McCarthy has posed:
"Yeah, unfortunately that happens. Bee stings are pretty bad - but there are some pretty rotten food allergies." A sigh. "Epi-pens are your friend, as someone with allergies." Tom smirks. "I appreciate the offer. I can ask Sara if she thinks it's a good idea? I also wouldn't want to hurt you, either. It's not fun to have to call the training short due to serious injury."

Tom grins. "That's what she calls her friend. Or rather, that's what he calls himself." A shrug. "It's a weird situation. And yeah, no need for you to be sorry." A slight smile. "You didn't cause the demon to come after me. I was the one shooting it to save some kids who were dumb enough to get involved with it." He regards her for a moment. "Guilt is not a bad thing, if it is deserved. I don't see how you deserve guilt for everything."

A bright smile. "I won't spoil him, then. He does oils, wet on wet method." He explains. "He was around in the seventies and eighties, had a show on PBS. His voice... we'll, you'll see." A wry grin. "I think there's a lot for him to learn, yeah. I'm not going to try to teach him myself, lest I get punched."
