Gabby Kinney has posed:
It was great how movies were able to be streamed these days almost as soon as they're released. Otherwise how else would such amazing movies as COCAINE BEAR be able to be seen this quickly?

Gabby was visiting just for the 'release' of this awesome movie. Sure she could watch it in the Outsiders movie theater but she was in New York and didn't feel up to making the trip back to Gotham tonight. She's already grabbed a big bowl of popcorn and some soda to guzzle down the salty treat with. Now it came time to claiming a spot on the couch where she sits, cross legged, up on the furniture like some animal.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahne Sinclair has decided to watch this with Gabby, she is has her own bowl of popcorn and a big soda, she glances at Gabby and then smiles and gives a friendly nod as the movie starts out with the hikers talking about their kids. Seems wholesome enough right? "Good to see you Gabby." whispers Rahne as she moves over to sit beside her friend so she doesn't have to feel alone in the big rec room. Part of her kind of want to curl up in her wolf form right now but she wants to at least have her food first.

And then there it is, in all its CGI glory, the cocaine bear as it is rubbing up against a tree, then sights the hiker and well, 'nature' takes it course.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney shifts to lean in against Rahne's side when joined by her friend. As always Gabby was a huggy person, and she'd learned long ago that some innate part of Rahne liked touch too. Especially when wolfy. She could understand that, so she opts at least for shoulders bumping against one another if it's allowed.

"You too, Rahne. Everything going good?" Even as she asks her hand is already dipping into her bowl to fish out a good mouthful of popcorn that she tosses up to catch. Which she does. Show off. The buttery fingers are licked clean next as she lets out a quiet, "This is gonna be *awesome.*"

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Yes the wolf part of her does like the physical contact of hug and as much as she hates to admit it being petted on the head in either her human or wolf form does trigger a rush of good happy feelings. She has to laugh at the absurdity of CGI bear and the kill of the hiker's spouse. "I am normally not much for thrillers but this one was just so weird that I had to see it."

She chuckles a bit, "When I saw the ambulance scene I had to see it to its conclusion." Yes after the first kill and the title shot it goes into the slow human element of setting up the characters and their drama. Generally slow parts where she knows it is safe to talk. "Good to see you again. Have you been taking care of yourself?" Yes the big sister complex coming over her.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
"I'm not sure I could call it a thriller. Dark comedy? Something along those lines. Like that old one with the guy with the chainsaw hand and too much fake blood," Gabby reasons as she watches the scene unfold without so much as a flinch. Number one: She'd seen plenty of blood. Number two: That was fake. Number three: As long as it didn't SMELL like it looked she was good to go.

Glancing over to Rahne again she just grins broadly in that way that causes the scars on her face to crinkle up. It's a good thing she had the genetics she did, or she might get wrinkles early due to those. "Yep! Things have been a bit slower with the teams lately, and I've been working on the relationship side of things. Still not sure I'm gonna bother with college for a few years but..." A small shrug comes, along with a sigh. "Probably should look into it."

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna takes a bite of popcorn as she giggles a little at the human drama and the silly drug runners. "Well collage is not something you need tush into Gabby, ultimately we want what is best for you." She holds up a piece of popcorn in the open up and then tries to land the two pointer in your mouth if you allow.

She also nods a bit, "It is good to be on good terms with your team mates, trust is very important." She then just snorts at the park ranger and setting up to flirt with the weird character of a naturalist. "I swear almost evreryone is a paraody of weird stereo types and trends, this is hitting all the notes.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney opens her mouth without hesitation to accept the popcorn tossed her way. A grin comes again and she chuckles. "It's a bit more than just trust given I'm running one of the teams, and the other wants me to take up a leadership position. But it is good, yeah. I have a lot of good people I can rely on." There's a pause when she adds, "Which is great for the magical issues team because I am not magical. Just." She waves a hand in the air gesturing. "Apparently better at teamwork than most magic types. They need that sometimes, I think."

"What about you though? Anything new in your life? Like... romaaaance?" She had to tease just a bit. It was ingrained in her to do so. Her chin lifts up to the tv as the shennanigans start to unfold. "A bit cliche yeah, but I swear I've run across a mob guy acts like that before. All talk then scared to death the second something goes wrong."

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Magic. She has encountered magic, it has taken her a bit of work to not view it as something evil with her religious background. "Its weird, I can accept the fact that there are time travelers, mutants, and space vikings but magic still makes me nervous. And when I am in my hybrid form it just kind of smells 'off.' "But yeah every team needs like a designated hitter." She does kind of smile at you, "Well that is great, if you ever need advice you can call me. Still working as a guidance councilor for the place." As the it gets to the two kids and the young boy who just is alot more funny than he has any right to be they find the brick and have a encounter with the bear.
"I recently went to the savage lands and was able to hel out my team mates with that. I am planning to return there with the others, but they had a generator that was nulliying power but it didn't affect my hybrid form or powers. It kind of felt nice to be more than just some werewolf.."

At the mention of romance she is silent and then think back to Asgard. "I don't think I've encounterd anything like Hiemdail...

Gabby Kinney has posed:
"The Savage Lands?" Gabby pauses to consider that thoughtfully. "I've heard it mentioned a few times but never been there myself. I think the furthest I've gotten is Genosha--No, wait." There's a pause while she crinklles her nose in thought. "There was that rescue mission in Antarctica. That's pretty far. Not as much fun though when it came to swimming."

"Ooh. Heimdall. The guardian of the rainbow bridge?" She blinks at Rahne a few times only to grin broadly. "Never met him but one of Thor's brothers is a member of the magic team when he's around. Balder," she explains. "So I read up a bit on the whole Asgardian thing. Never hurts to know your team," she explains only to mutter beneath her breath, "Been hanging with the bats too much, I swear. But!" Her attention rivets toward Rahne again. "You like him huh?"

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna pauses for a moment. "Not him, it was Hrimhari. He was my first boyfriend when we went to Asgard. He was a wolf lord who had a hybrid form like mine. I wanted to stay but if I did my team mates would have to stay with me. So we left.." She sighs for a moment.

As for the savage land. "Sauron had slipped out and was mind controlling folks and trying to drain powers, so we had him to deal with among other things, I managed to deal with the device suppressing powers and after that we were able to turn the tables. "

At Rahna goes quiet as the move show the rather gory death of the naturalist nature lover which gets a slight smile and shake of the head. "Wow have you ever encountered something like that..." Still she is going to answer the question. "But yes I still think of Hrimhari every now and then. Not often you have the god of wolves declare they love you.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
"Yeah I don't really have anyone 'declare their love for me' so much as I tell them we're dating now. I guess I'm bossy," Gabby reasons with a little grin of amusement. "Oh, yeah, kind of. Did I tell you I met a Bigfoot? Nice lady. I mean for a Bigfoot. Never met any bears though, I think they're scared off around here by Logan."

Some more of the popcorn is grasped though she doesn't immediately eat as her eyes rivet on the screen. Even if it was CGI in places it was still pretty good over all. "Sauron sucks. Though I did get to be a compy for awhile because of him. I was all floofy with feathers and claws."

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna pauses mid popcorn bite when you mention meeting bigfoot. "You mean like Harry and the Henderson bigfoot?" Its a good movie about big foot. "What was she like? Was she nice? Good I got so many questions about that."

Right now her attention is drawn as the bear starts to raid the park ranger station with the kid that the mobster beat up. She has to wince when the lady shoots the guy in the head by 'accident.' "And yes Sauron does indeed suck alot."

As the movie slows down she kind of looks at you. "So you have been hanging out with the batman group? What are they like?

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney rather expected that would get a reaction. She nods in agreement with the assessment of Bigfoot in general. "Yeah. Part of what I'm trying to do with the magical group is not just react to bad things, but help the natural order of things. There's paranormal or supernatural creatures that are part of our world and always have been. She was caught in an old bear trap that was rusted and injured, so was getting food from campers trash and the like. Risking being seen or worse. We got her freed and fixed up." Glancing back she adds with a hint of excitement, "So the reason or part of the reason they're so hard to see most of the time is that they're kind of like chameleons and can just... fwoosh. Fade in and out with their surroundings. It was awesome."

Finally she munches the popcorn and reaches for her soda to twist off the cap. "Very business-like. At least the ones I deal with. They're pros, that's for sure. Lots of personality otherwise with them."

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna actually pops a few kernels into her mouth more interested in the story about the bigfoot than some coked up bear now. "So do they turn invisible or is there fur like chameleon like and helps them blend in with nature? So you keep supernatural that aren't ready to to be discovered from the common man? Way cool Gabby."

And now the infamous Ambulance scenes start to play, she touches your shoulder and points to the screen as the bear start to chase the ambulance the park rangers firing as the bear charges full bore at it, leaps and nails the land and glorious carnage and death plays out.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney hums thoughtfully. "It was a magical thing but innate to it so... It was a bit more like the Predator but color based. You could still see her but if you looked away it was really hard to see her again. I dunno, it was night time I didn't really get to chat with her about it."

The nudge causes her to look back to watch the movie with growing amusement over the entire situation. It was dark in places, sure, but it was just so over the top otherwise she couldn't take it all seriously.

"Yeah, it is cool," she decides after a few long moments of being quiet. "I enjoy it. More than just 'stop the threat' situations."

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
The movie night goes on, eventually it comes to a close Rahna smiles and then starts to clean up after the movie. "Thank you for hanging out Gabby. Don't be a stranger alright.
