It was a busy night in Midtown. Business people were hustling to and from their offices to the subway to head home from a long day at the job while tourists milled about, taking photos of the various landmarks in the area. Little did they know they would soon fall victim to a prank that would be considered cruel by many. Sitting on a nearby bench was a short, fat, middle-aged man wearing a greeen sweater, brown pants, and loafers. He grinned as he watched the saps walk back and forth, not expecting the mayhem that was about to be unleased upon them. Suddenly, three crows flew by! There was the signal! Suddenly, the man pulled out a remote control from his pocket and grinned as he pressed it, this was going to be fun!

A yuppie happened to be waling down the street and passed a seemingly normal P.O Box. Suddenly, grey mist began to pour out of the box and quickly enveloped the man. At first he was coughing violently, but then he started to laugh violently, his guffaws spreading to other unforunates in the area. At the same time, the sounds of buzzing filled the air as toy airplanes filled the air. The planes, whcih were shapped like crop dusters, began to dump out itching powder onto the already laughing people below.

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden is just getting off of work, which consisted of taking photographs for a fashion magazine. This one looked promising and she was finally getting a steady paycheque for a bit. All in all, she is in a good mood as she steps out of the train and onto the platform. Things seem normal..Until the grey mist comes out, followed by toy planes started missing about.

"Huh? What the...!" she frowns, bringing up her glowing hand, summoning a protective orb around herself, transforming her civvies into a green and white costume vaguely reminiscent of the GL costumes. Now she just has to find the source of this mayhem!

She peers around, summoning a green barrier over the fleeing people, trying to protect as many as she can from the dust as they flee for higher ground, "Hurry, this way!" she calls, redirecting them to the exits.

As Jade pit up the barrier the fat man at the nearby bench scowled in annoyance. A hero was not supposed to show up and ruin the boss' fun! Well, at least not yet. The fat man grunted un annoyance as he pulled out the switch again and activated a second gag.

As Jade continued to evacute both laughing and non-laughing commuters a second round of buzzing filled the air as pmore mimi planes flew into the area. But, instead of powder, they dropped small rubber balls, that EXPLODED upon impact of the barrier. At the same time, screens surrounding the area turned blnak for a minute, before being replaced by a still image of a laughing jester head as cartoony guffaws sounded over the speakers.

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennifer-Lynn Hayden flinches as the balls explode against her barrier, pouring all her Will into keeping it together, but it's taxing on her mind..Still, she focuses on getting as many people out of here as she can, she'll deal with this villain once she's gotten as many to safety as she can.

When the screens change to the image of a jester, she blinks in confusion, "Huh? Who's that? What do you want..?" she demands, but another explosion causes her to stagger, her barrier nearly faltering and she flinches in pain..Just need to hang on a little longer..

As the balls continue tho fall, the image of the carttony jester head gets replaced by an odd sight. You would find yourself staring at what appeared to be a KIng's feasting hall in Medieval times. It was a large, cozy room with a roaring fireplace and a large, expansive dining table filling the room. In the background were the sounds of people laughing, chatting, and the clinks of goblets and olates. It sounded lie there was a invisible feast going on. Suddenly, a shout broke through the ambience,

"HO HO HO!"

As this jolly shout filled the air a man dressed in the familiar purple and green tights of a steryotypical jester backflipped into the shot. The man backflipped into the center of the frame before suddenly landing on his feet and bowing, eliciting a round of applause from the invisible crowd. He bowed to the invisible crowd before turning to you, a smile on his face as he said,

"Hail people of New York City! Thou art playing witness to the merry jest of The Jester!"

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennifer-Lynn Hayden blinks slowly, relaxing her barrier once most of the innocents have cleared the area. "Hey come on now, this is no joke, and it's definitely not a performance hall. Those people could have been seriously hurt. What do you want? Show yourself!"

Jonathan Powers has posed:
The Jester turned to look at you, a grin on his face as he tilted his head. Suddenly, he lets out a loud laugh as he says, "But my lady, it is a gag. As thou speakest, thou art being recorded and placed on mine own website."

As he says this anew buzzing fills the air as a drone with a camera attatched to it flies by and begins to film the area. "My viewers," The Jester continued, " Hath quite enjoyed the show thou hast provided them."

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennifer-Lynn Hayden narrows her eyes, peering around the nearly empty subway station by now, searching for the source of the voice. "Are you crazy? This is not your playground! You could have seriously hurt those people! Is that what this is to you, entertainment? That's just sick.." she clenches her fists, "You want to pick on someone, pick on me but leave these innocents alone!"

Jonathan Powers has posed:
Jester laughed again as he shook his head. "Oh, no, no", He began, "I am just giving the people what they want. To laugh at another person's expense. If you can't see the humor in it. Well, tough luck!"

The screen began to shake and distort as the Jester began to laugh his loudest laugh yet.

Jennifer-Lynn Hayden has posed:
Jennifer-Lynn Hayden frowns more deeply, pointing g her glowing hand at the screen, attempting to blast it to bits, "This will be the last show you see, you sicko. Get lost!" her body glows brightly now, as her anger does too.

Jonathan Powers has posed:
The Kester laughs once again, but it's cut off as you smash the screen. But... even as the subway goes did quiet, his laugh seems to linger, though it seems to slowly fade away, like a whispher in the wind.
