Cast of Characters: Thor, Yondu Udonta, Kraglin Obfonteri, Natasha Romanoff, Elektra Natchios

Thor has posed:
The day had slipped away, the hours lost in the heavy work that was needed after the battle. There was so much wreckage, so many fallen, so much loss. It all required effort and focus, and the one that the Ravagers had come to know as SteveRogers had given all of that time toward helping the rescue efforts as much of the Starport's infrastructure had fallen. He had spent the time moving debris and detritus, shifting heavy masses of ceramocrete and steel.
Yet now the sun had fallen. Emergency lighting had been set up and the medical stations had popped up across the man-made island. Quinjets and helicopters came and went ferrying the injured to different facilities on ships and back to the coast. A few hours into the night, the Eisenhower's carrier battle group came into view and the comms were alive with people happy to see the old ship was still afloat even though they had word it was intact.
The salvage efforts, however, were just getting under way. And if there were some enterprising individuals who wanted to get away with some of the salvaged gear... well then now would be the time. And as chance would have it, this was the time when that SteveRogers fellow walks over to the small camp that had been made for the Ravagers. Since surely the day took something out of them as well.

Yondu Udonta has posed:
It had been quite the day. Upon their arrival, they'd been unable to have a moment to even think. Too busy trying to keep their heads attached to their shoulders. And once the battle was over, they had assisted in trying to help find the injured. After all, they had a doctor in their little trio of Ravagers and she'd certainly earned her pay today. It also seemed there was more to the good doctor than they originally thought, but that would have to wait.

As the day wore on, there was less for the trio to do. Eventually, they were more or less left to their own devices. They'd even been allowed to take over a little area with a table and benches that had come from perhaps the food court area. Tucked off to the side, even a nice umbrella over it to keep the sun off. There were a couple of boxes of a larger size, tucked partway under the edge of that table. As they were working, an item here or there might end up in a pocket. Only to later be added to the boxes. Then off to the next round of searches and more items found to be added.

One might think they were being helpful. One would be wrong though. Though it was helpful for clean up on some level, it wasn't enough stuff to even make a dent. And it all seemed to be things that were in working order. An energy weapon here. A Kimoyo bead there. Just some things that might be useful in the future. That's what good salvagers did.

And there was so much salvage but the authorities here on Terra were not playing nice. Thus their efforts had been surreptitious.

Yondu was sitting on the edge of that table at the moment, a can of Coca-Cola in the bright red and white can held in his right hand. He took a swig of the bubbly liquid then let out a belch a moment later. He focused on SteveRogers then gave a terse nod in his direction.

"That Thunderer thing makes a whole lot more sense now."

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
Little worse for the wear, considering he had been spat out of a dimensional chute into a raging battle, Kraglin was adjusting well to life on this planet. Pretty weird mix of people if he were to judge by those Amazons and folks with super powers. The place was a fucking mess after the fight.

Big lifting like moving concrete pillars and debris was out of Kraglin's strength range. Steverogers was better suited to that stuff. So he helped where he could. Kraglin still had a hard time calling him Thor...I mean, Thor, the god guy. He shook his head at the idea every time he thought of it.

He picked up bodies, helped carry stretchers to the medical tents, carried boxes and kept his eyes peeled for interesting things. Interesting things being along the line of stray weapons - blasters, death rays and the occasional knife. The stash he was accumulating in a spot out of the way was growing, but that didn't stop him. Like a pippa squirrel from his planet, storing winter nuts, he couldn't stop himself if he wanted to. And like the Captain, the First Mate couldn't help eyeing the ships that might be up for grabs.

Every once in a while he'd catch a glance of that red-headed dish he had caught. Yeah, he had walked straight into a block and busted his shin looking at her. Still, it kinda made his day. On his last stop to his stash, he passed the Captain, "He sure tore it up, didn't he? See anything you like shipwise, Cap'n?"

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
And Natasha Romanova is just observing the group for now. Monitoring them to see what exactly it is they're tkaing as salvage and claiming, and what sorts of bits they're finding useful. She's serving as a sentry and observing and recording.

Also ever useful is filling the extensive gaps of knowledge that SHIELD has of interstellar spacecraft and technology. The Ravagers have a great deal more operational knowledge than most individuals in SWORD no doubt, so they can always get things from observations. It's mroe data points for the analysts, at least.

She's been quiet, almost still from her position, a few dozen meters awya most of the time and not interacting to any particular degree.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Being back on Earth hadn't been on the cards for Luna. In fact it was the last thing she expected to do but sometimes that's how the cookie crumbles. Or so goes the earthly saying. It was still too soon to be back here though. Way too soon. So she had busied herself in helping out many of the wounded. Either friendly or enemy. There was little distinction in her eye, it was about winners and losers really.

She doesn't really have that scavenger instinct of the rest of the Ravagers so she has mostly gone without keeping an eye out for salvage, even if she -was- eyeing this sweet dark elven knife that had been left right there. Right -there-. And inside the fold of her jacket it went.

Urgh, she was picking bad habits from those other two.

"Well, this was a day." She tells the others, now sitting close by. Then she leans closer to whisper. "Think that redhead is stalking you, Krags."

Thor has posed:
Indeed. That 'Thunderer' strolled on up and smiled a little to them. There was a warmth to his expression, it reached that one good eye of his as he looked between them. "My friends..." He says at first, just those two words as he looks at them.
Then he flares his hands as he meets Yondu's gaze, shaking his head a little before he then extends his forearm for that warrior's clasp, seeking it from Yondu even if the man might hesitate slightly. It turns into a strong handshake as he steps forward and thumps the other man's shoulder with his hand. "My captain."
Then he rounds toward Kraglin and thump-thumps his shoulder as well. "First-Mate." Which leaves a wry smile for Luna. She can likely sense the impulse there to offer her an embrace as well, but knowing she likes to keep her composure in such a setting. "Good Doctor."
He then steps back to look at the three of them, resting his hands on his hips. "I am come because my path is set. You are welcome to travel with me, but I feel you may wish to seek your own fate. I must..." A pause, his tone turns a touch more somber. "See to the fallen. See to my friends. Then my family. You will forever be welcome in Asgard as my companions. Though if you must get back to the Eclector, I will understand."

Yondu Udonta has posed:
The question from Kraglin had drawn a grin from Yondu but the approach of the ASgardian had him holding his tongue on the answer.

One interesting thing is they didn't take anything that would leave these devastated peoples in need. No taking of medical supplies. No emergency rations in the form of MREs that had been given. Only the food or drink they needed to get through the day but no extras had ended up in those boxes. They might be pirates but they understood where lines were drawn.

At the offered hand, Yondu did pause a moment but finally stood up, duster jacket falling into place as he took that offered hand. The warrior's shake was bit different from what he was used to but it was easy enough to figure out.

"Ah had the feelin' that was gonna be the case." He scritched at the stubble on his chin. "Got yer memories back. Yer home." Though he sort of lifted a brow at that one as this wasn't Asgard but clearly Thor was known here. "Home away from home maybe."

He considered a moment and looked off in the direction where a few of those alien ships were being closely guarded by the SHIELD and military contingents on base. These were the smaller ones, more like an M-Ship in size though the design was far different. He gave a terse nod. "Ah think this is where we part ways. Though yer always welcome on the Eclector. If Ah still have her when we get back." Taserface better not have pulled any shit while they were gone. "Though...not sure how we're gettin' back there. That big light show ya used to get us here able to get us back to that planet?" And that flick of the eyes toward the ships. "Or are there other means available?"

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
"Think so?" Kraglin asks with a wary look at the doctor and a quick glance in the red head's direction, just in case. And speak of the devil - there was Steverog...Thor coming over to them like they were old friends. He staggers a bit under the resounding thumps but gives him a thumbs up, saying, "Ya killed it." His eyes widening at what came out of his mouth. "Yeah." Cause he had killed the big bad Elf with the axe that flew around.

An invitation to Asgard? Kraglin's regards the Captain sideways, though he doesn't need to 'cause he knows where Ravagers belong. And it ain't in some fancy place without a ship.

The First Mate makes a non-committal shrug at their former crew member. "I gotta get back to the Eclector if we can figure a way of getting there."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
As Kragling oes to look about as Natasha watches, she considers what she's picking up from Thor and Yondu's discussion. She doesn't intervene. She considers this private - Thor is saying farewell to some of those that helped him in some way. These are his friends, it doesn't concern her at all and it's personal for her fellow Avenger.

She, more than many, can respect saying goodbye. She does, however, pay attention tot he bits of technology being organized still!

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"Prince Thor of Asgard." There's a certain inflection to Luna's tone when she greets The Thunderer, with just enough accent to show she may know a word or three of Asgardian. Not that she seems willing to share on how she knows it but there's amusement for a few as she regards the Prince returned to form. "Lots to catch up to now that you are back in this place. We won't take more time from you than needed.."

Eyes turn to survey the destruction that was wrought, "For I have a feeling this isn't over.." and she was never wrong where it came to her hunches.

Business about ships and how to get back she leaves to Yondu so she focuses on Kraglin and nods sagely his way. "Looking at you. Are you thinking about leaving without knowing her name?" so she gestures for Natasha to come closer.

Luna, wingwoman at your service.

Thor has posed:
"The Bifrost," Thor says at mention of the light show. He nods and says, "Likely it would be best I not leave and head off across the galaxy again. But..." His single good eye shifts away to look over Yondu's shoulder, then refocuses on the man. "Perhaps one of the corvettes would suit your needs. I should warn you, however." Thor rests his hands upon his hips, "The Svartalfar are malicious beings, and likely commandeering one of their vessels may well be dangerous, there may be many traps or pitfalls for the unwary. But if you are able to tame it... well there are few ships more deadly or swift."
"But if you spare me a week's time, well... then I can perhaps get you one of our ships. It won't be quite as strong as a Svartalfar Corvette. But it will see you home well. And I am sure my father will likely offer you a reward of his own."
When Kraglin glances off toward where Natasha remains and then Luna as well, Thor's lips part in a small smile. He lifts his hand to wave toward her and calls out, "Ah, Natasha. Come join us!" Then his brow knits and in a hint of self-awareness he says, "If you wish."

Yondu Udonta has posed:
Decisions, decisions.

The Svartalfar Corvette was a sleek and deadly looking beauty. They had seen first hand how dangerous it could be in the right hands. Other side of that coin was ships with lots of technology and coding often were difficult to find every single trap that might be. They might just not wake up one day because it decided to vent all their air into space. But that firepower...

Though Thor had said a word that brought Yondu's attention back on him fully. "Reward, huh?" A glance at the redhead he had addressed then back to the Asgardian. "And a ship?" Maybe not as good. He hadn't seen an Asgardian ship in action to know if that was a good offer or not. Though a reward from a King of an entire planet? For saving his /son/?!

"Ah suppose we can stick around and help a little. After all, that whole finding you, feeding you, fixing your hand." A glance to Luna then back to Thor. "Twice." Since the good doctor had not approved of the work done by the first. "All that on top of this." A handwave at the Starport in general.

"Might be we could do both? We get the Corvette but have another Asgardian craft just in case it tries to eat us on the way home?"

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
Kraglin sucks on his teeth at the offer but doesn't weigh in on things. Wrestling with something magic wasn't exactly up his alley, but if the Cap'n was up for it then he'd second him like he was in the habit of doing. Besides, Thor had said the R-word which certainly brightened Yondu up.

Without the Cap'n asking he offers, "Sounds good to me." What's not good in a ship from a place that has flying axes, right? And without fail, the Cap'n comes through asking for both ships. Mah man.

Luna butting in where not invited, takes the satisfied look off his face. Eyes narrowed, he shakes his head and waves his hand at waist level in an urgent negative gesture. But his shoulders straighten when Thor calls to the woman and he tucks her name away. "Natasha," he repeats to himself and he can't help but look in her direction.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanoff would go to approahc the group at Thor's invite and move to glance at them, "A pleasure." She hadn't gotten all of their names admidst the chaos. "A privilege to meet you all." Keeping a flat but sincere smile over to Kraglin. "And thank you for introducing me to your associates, Thor. If you don't mind?" Gesturing at Luna, Kraglin, and Yondu in turn while cocking her head over at them to listen curiously.

And not bringing up the current state of custodial affairs in Asgard yet. Where would the fun be over in that?

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"You had to go and say it..." Heavy sigh out of Luna at the R-word from Thor. That's a big no-no with those two around. But what's done is done. Fine. And ..., por que no los dos? Clearly that's what the captain is thinking by saying he might take both ships. Like pirates do.

"What's next? A feast...?" but she is already resigned in spending some time on Earth. Or on Asgard. Admittedly Asgard may prove to be more interesting so not all is a loss.

And maybe Taserface will have taken over by then. That will be fun to handle too. It's the pleasure of the little things. Regardless, she smiles very briefly at Natasha when the woman comes by. "Hello. One of the earth fighters, aren't you?" she studies the woman.

Thor has posed:
The Thunderer's smile turns a little wry as he meets Luna's gaze, though his words are for Yondu, "Ah, if you stay here it is likely that the people of this world will rightfully lay claim upon the ship as spoils of war. For they do not easily travel the stars as of yet." He chews the inside of his cheek thoughtfully then murmurs, "So it is a matter of time I imagine."
Then he tilts his head slightly, "Though you could take the ship now, and then seek me in the future. Know that I and the Realm of Asgard owe you much, perhaps even a feast. And we are long-lived people who do not forget our friends." There is a measure of shrewdness to Thor's manner, and perhaps a hint of awareness that the others hadn't seen when he was traveling the stars with them.
But that is the moment when Natasha joins them. He steps back and to the side, including her in that small conversational circle as he motions to her. "My friends, might I have the privilege to introduce Natasha Romanoff. One of the finest warriors on this world. Natasha, this my Captain, Yondu Undonta. His first mate, Kraglin Obfonteri. And the ship's doctor, Luna Drake." He motions to each in turn.
"I owe them much for they were of great aid in my time of need."

Yondu Udonta has posed:
As he was introduced, Yondu gave a nod. Being polite as the round was made then adding to the last line. "Found him floatin' in space in the middle o' no where." Not to be mistaken for Knowhere, totally different place. "Brought him in, nursed him to health. Though he didn't know who he was."

And he watches as the conversation begins though his eyes stray to the Corvette a few times. Still that chance at both but it would get them back in space sooner and wouldn't give Taserface a week on his ship unsupervised.

He really needed to space that asshole.

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
Kraglin bends down to say in a quick aside to the Cap'n, "I can take one and you take the other, if we think we can handle them." No way he is going to let a ship get away from them, as long as it doesn't kill them. He straightens to face Thor, "That is mighty kind of you. Ravagers don't forget their friends neither, no matter how long we live.

Shoulders squared, Kraglin tugs on the bottom of his jacket when Natasha arrives, raises his unshaven chin and smiles. "Nice ta meet cha, ma'am. We're friends," he pokes a thumb in Thor's direction.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanoff would nod to each of them in turn, "A pleasure. THor has long bee nan ally of Midgard, so his return is appreciated. And it's good to meet his comrades in arms that helped return him." The SHIELD Assassin doesn't elaborate any more about herself.

"And I'm glad that THor has friends. He had comrades in arms and drinking rivals. Not necessarily friends." SHe's giving Thor a light teasing here.

Thor has posed:
A nod is given from Thor to Yondu as he motions toward the distant corvette. It likely will take some small amount of doing to get the clearances set, to get the ship slaved to Yondu's control. But then again... that is what they do for a living.
"Very well, Captain. Then take you and yours and get the ship under your control. I will tell those of Midgard that this one vessel is needed and I will vouch for you." He turns to look at Natasha, that slight smile on his face that clearly asks of her silently for her help. Then he adds words to the plea, "If you would be so kind, Natasha. Let SHIELD and the others know that this vessel will be departing in the near future."
That said he turns to the others, letting his gaze drift between each. A final handshake between Thor and Yondu. "For now, there is... much to do."
And as he says that he steps back, "Until next time, my friends." He turns.

Yondu Udonta has posed:
"We'll be back in touch. Gotta make sure mah ship is good. Then we'll come meet your Daddy. See about that appreciation he might have cause that hand was damned expensive." A wink from Yondu to Thor then he glances over at Kraglin. Yondu moved to pick up one of those boxes. Then he started to stroll in the direction of that ship.

But then he glanced over his shoulder, a slight pause in his step. Wait, who's SteveRogers?"

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
Waving, Kraglin calls, "See you around, Ste..Thor!" He's finally catching on.

As soon as Thor is out of earshot, catching up to Yondu, he puts a hand on his shoulder, saying quietly, "I'm not tooooo tired. Nothing a quick fifteen won't fix. Then, I'm for taking that slick black thing outta here."

He gazes forlornly back over his shoulder at Natasha. It's a Ravager's life. Sometimes you have to decide between a ship and a girl. He gives her a wave and heads toward their new prize.
