Cast of Characters: Thea Queen, Kyani Kohanna

Thea Queen has posed:
It was a rough night, it really was. Up and down to the bathroom, tossing and turning when she actually DID make it to her bed. So, late moring means that Miss Thea Queen is not looking or feeling her best. She's snuck out of the house so she didn't wake up her brother or her mother, didn't want that scene, and she's taken transit into NYC to visit a girlfriend who has a small greenhouse/florist shop in the Village.

Dressed fashionably and her face done properly, she's hanging outside the glass panes where the flower arrangements are, calling back into the small greenhouse proper. Snippets of conversation could be heard on the breeze,

"So yeah... moving in... not sure..."

Muffled from within the greenhouse obviously comes replies, but there's little catching the words. Thea messes with an artsy-looking pencil that has a little feathered bird sculptie on the end, checking to see how balanced it is as she makes her replies,

"... I dunno, maybe? All depends on Walter at this point..."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Kyani has been busy this morning and now he was delivering a small package to a greehouse/florist. The instructions were to come in through the greenhouse, and that's what he does. It should've taken him quite a while to get here, but he was here in a matter of minutes. The dark skinned delivery messenger sees the open sign and walks in. He yawns a little bit and rubs his eyes a bit, he looks around for a few moments, "Hello?" he asks.

It's not until he moves further in when he sees Thea, he walks over to her, "Wendy?" he ask thinking Thea is her friend who ordered the items he has. He begins taking out his iPad for her to sign.

Thea Queen has posed:
Wendy is still in the back, and Thea puts the pencil back before going around to the back of the register area to grab the stool. "You wanna go out to the club tonight? Close up shop, we go back to your place to get ready..."

The sound of the little shop bell announces the arrival of the messenger, bringing a 'Yeah.. c'mon in. Back here' from the back of a plant and flower infested room. The smell is a mix-up of all sorts of fragrent blooms with no one claiming supremacy.

The identification of Thea as Wendy, however, gets a quick headshake before,

"Wendy, you got a package. Want me to sign?"

"G'head! Just make sure it's not ticking?"

"Ha.. ha..." Thea turns back to Kyani and wiggles her fingers for the stylus. "Wendy's in the back. I'm Thea. I can sign for it.. It's not ticking, right?" She's only half kidding...

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Seeing Thea shake her head about not being Wendy, "Oh mah'bad." he says to her, smiling to Thea. When he hears her friend tell Thea she can sign for it, handing her the iPad with the stylus. "It better not be a bomb, I don't get hazard pay at all." he jokes. "How're you doing?" he asks Thea. Trying to keep the conversation going a bit before he has to leave.

Thea Queen has posed:
Thea reaches out for the tablet as it's handed over, the stylus in hand. With a sweeping hand, 'Thea Queen' is signed in flowing cursive before it's handed back. "Hazard pay is only the tip of what you should get if it's a bomb.." is quipped. 'Tip'... oh, damn.

"Wendy, I'm opening your till for a $10."

"Okay.. just don't open the penny roll. They're a bitch to count at the end of the day."

A *ring* sounds as Thea hits the 'no sale' button and the drawer slides open. "Doing okay. Will be better later, though. Finding some time to kick back and get crazy." Because that's what the world needs right now, right?

Thea hands Kyani the $10 with a genuine smile. "Hazard pay tip. Make sure you check for ticking //before// you deliver. Anything that might sound bad, probably is."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
"You would think." he chuckles a little bit. As Thea signs he watches her than after a few moments he begins looking around for a momen. "You don't have to give a tip if....Nevermind." he says as she tells Wendy she is taking out a 10.

"Thank you." he says to her. "You just doing ok today?" he asks as he looks at the iPad, "Thea." he says to her, "Pretty name." He nods his head, "Yeah there are a couple places around here to go and kick it." he rattles off a couple of clubs to her to check out. "I tend to frequent the later, it's more of a hip-hop club, good food, some of the dopest music you can hear, and dancing is legit." he says to her. He grins, "Thanks Thea. Hazard pay tip is very welcome." he laughs and nods, "I always do, don't want to blow up someone like you." he winks. With his job done he steps back and gets ready to leave.

Thea Queen has posed:
Thea smiles, "Thanks, it's the only name I have."

She lifts the box, shifts it over to counter only to dig out a box cutter to open it. That'll be later. "I heard that was a good spot," Thea's attention is gained. "Might drop in there." She looks like she's being honest and up front as opposed to just sort of humoring the guy.

"See you there, I guess.. and I appreciate you not wanting to see me blow up." With that, Thea does call back to her friend, "I'm opening it!"

Delivery was successful!

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Kyani grins, "My name is Kyani, I hope you do show up tonight." he says to her and he begins walking backwards and than he turns around. "Hey beauty shouldn't be blown up, y'know." he says to her. "Now time to eat." he chuckles to himself and after a few moments the door opens and she will see him walk away than when he is out of sigh he is gone in a blur.
