Date of Scene: 30 April 2020
Location: Streets of New York before relocating to a Conference Room at Mercy Hospital
Synopsis: Secrets get revealed. Consultants get consulting...
Cast of Characters: Achilles, Daisy Johnson, Jessica Drew, Bobbi Morse

Achilles has posed:
Sighing, Achilles shakes his head, "May as well get this over with. Come to New York. Meet with a flower. Bob's your uncle." he remarks as he gets most of the feeling back in his foot and stops limping. "Maybe we could arrange this someplace less..." he gestures about the street, the city and shrugs, "Less." he adds.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Just what I needed, Drew. Nazis on a parade after getting brushed off by this Greek guy on the phone." Yes, Daisy is still sort of fuming even as the paramedics start to rush in to tend to the fellows on the ground. Hopefully they can still be saved. She lets out a sigh, letting her eyes stray there.

"Who is your friend? Seems like you two know each other.." she murmurs, her eyes taking in Achilles for the first time, up and down, thoughtful. Does she recognize the accent. Maybe just a coincidence.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Greek guy on the phone?" Sucking in her bottom lip, trying not to smile, Jessica looks from the tall blonde man at her side to Quake.

"Well,"the smiles slips its mooring as she makes an open handed gesture to Achilles. "This may be him. Daisy, this is my friend Angelo who I think you spoke to on the phone. Can you all stomach the Starbuck's right here? We can duck in there to talk."

Achilles has posed:
"In my defense. Anyone could claim to be an agent of SHIELD over the phone. Regulations are very clear in situations such as this." admits Achilles. But he gestures towards Starbucks, "I will even offer to pay." he adds, "Since Starbucks almost requires financial assistance to be able to afford a Latte." he adds, trying to ease things with a bit of humor as he gestures towards the Starbucks.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Yes, so she wasn't wrong about the accent. Always trust your instincts! That's what Coulson tells Daisy. But this time at least there is no sucker punch incoming. She had done that with the nazis already. Instead there is a narrowing of her eyes. Contemplating whether to go just start berating on the man. Yet the offer of Starbucks appeasement prevails. So she dips her head.

"Fine enough, lets talk in there." she accepts, folding her arms together, "Regulations can often put people in danger if they are followed to the letter though." Nope, not a stickler to the rules this one.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jessica has the feeling she is going to bite her inner lip raw with this crew as she politely extends her hand towards the door. "Thank you, A-ngelo. Ever the gentleman." She follows them in through the doors.

Their orders placed, they have managed to find a table in a private nook. The demonstration outside having the perverse effect of driving people away from the venue. "I will let my friend introduce himself. Though I will say that I think that both our organization and he will benefit from knowing one another."

Achilles has posed:
"I wager that Agent... Johnson is it? I wager she knows who I am but in the interests of being cordial." Achilles offers a hand before sitting down, "Angelo Tampambulos, at your service. If Ms. Drew here says that you are whom you say you are, then I believe that I can do away with the need to view your badge." He sits down after the handshake and reaches for his coffee. "So Agent. Shall I call my office and instruct them to cooperate fully with your investigation?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Daisy. Johnson." Daisy confirms her name to Achilles when he asks. And yes, even with the little pauses between the names. Letting them know the amount of her fury! Hah! But well, there are drinks so she is fine for now, so here she is taking in her orange smoothie. Extending one hand she shakes it with the man's. And no quakes happen. Just a normal handshake!

"Well, he does own a security company if I get that right. Though maybe I should ask for his credentials too, mmm?" Though the corner of her mouth curls up into a faint smirk.

Focus is then on Achilles once again, "Yes, I already called in another agent too so..., we may just have to wait. Yet this man may be holding tech belonging to SHIELD. Do you have him secure?" she questions. Then as an aside to Drew she informs her. "Called in Bobbi."

Jessica Drew has posed:
Nerves are still on high from the recent incident. Gaze moving between the two, Jessica nods, fighting that urge to chew her bottom lip caught in the no-man's land between admiration for their caution and irritation.

"Again, for fear of saying too much, I will leave it to Angelo to describe his antecedents. Suffice it to say, he has my full endorsement." The woman sniffs at what a prig she must sound but she will not overstep her bounds with the man. once burned, twice shy being her motto.

Achilles has posed:
Free hand reaching over to grip Jessica's wrist, Achilles gives her a smile. "It's okay." he says to her before looking to Daisy. "Of course I do not have the man. He assaulted my personnel and misled my company, maneuvering us into an encounter where we ended up in a delicate situation. It turns out that my people unknowingly aided and abetted an illegal operation. As such, Pierre and everything that he had on him have been turned over to the New York Police Department. We do not make a habit of holding prisoners. We simple provide personal security, not detention." he admits to Daisy. "Though from all reports, the weapon that he used was... rather amazing. I presume -that- is the tech you speak of? I have ordered my people to not speak of it to anyone, but the police -are- aware of the situation, since they collected all evidence on hand."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"The man was smuggling at least two of our ICERs." This Daisy says in Drew's direction in ways of explanation. "We will still need to follow up on his connections." not that she seems too happy with Pierre being delivered to the cops. But what's done is done. So there is only a small sigh. "Could be worse. And yes, thank you for your discretion. With this having bad for everyone though, would you be willing to give us access to Pierre's info that you may have on your databases?" she then asks.

Then a look to Jessica, "Do you think he'd be a good contact or Agent?" she questions.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jessica's mouth forms a silent O of comprehension when she is given, what was for her, the missing information concerning the Icers. "No wonder. Yes, I do. I really do but the rest will be up to you two to manage between yourselves. I want Angelo to tell you about himself, not me." She lays unusual stress on his name and pats his arm in return for his concerned reach for her. "No worries. Just pretend I'm not here," she adds brightly and takes a sip of her over sweet chai wincing at the sugar which doesn't stop her from drinking it.

Achilles has posed:
Chuckling, Achilles shrugs his shoulders, "Of course you will have total access to his information. Myrmidon security is always happy to cooperate with law enforcement. In fact, if you like... I will log into the files on your computer and let you access them there. As long as you promise to limit your access to -his- file." Achilles states.
He looks to Daisy, then to Jessica and then back. "I would love to have access to weapons such as yours of course. Imagine the potential for bodyguards who can fire and -not- kill bystanders." He grins at that, thinking through it for a long moment before sucking down another twelve dollars worth of coffee (that's one sip, in Starbucks scale).

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Sure, we can do that." Daisy says in a rather neutral tone to Achilles when he mentions logging through her own computer. Noone tell the man she is an hacker! And a very good one at that! Shhhhh! But well, her times of being Dark Skye are long gone now. She is a whitehat in the end..., well, almost all the times..

"It's SHIELD propietary tech though." she sighs. Even if she does understand how useful it would be to normal law enforcement.

A beep on her phone brings her attention to it. "The other Agent should be here soon." she sent her location to Bobbi. A starbucks not far from where a nazi parade was just stopped apparently.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
The little mic in Daisy's ear comes to life. "He seems on the up and up. New York's finest took your perp to Mercy Hospital on Washington and 4th." Daisy can see on her phone that Bobbi is outside, across the street. A glance out the window reveals a black leather clad figure on a motorcycle on the other side of slowly moving traffic, she has not dismounted. "I'll send another agent to collect the ICER from the precinct. If he's giving you access to your perps account, follow the money."

Achilles has posed:
"Of course it is. That doesn't mean it wouldn't be useful." offers Achilles with a shrug, "But.. if you like, we can adjourn to some location of your choice where we can get access to the systems. And.. I would love to speak with you and... your superiors in a place that is a bit more... secure." offers Achilles as his green eyes slide about the room.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
The interaction between Jessica and Achilles does go unperceived, Daisy furrowing her brows a touch. "Something you two are not telling me..." but she doesn't press it too much. Instead her eyes go to the window. Casual? Maybe.

Though she then reaches to her own jacket. She had brought a tablet at least. She takes it out, starting to type on it quietly. And very quickly too, as if she had done this all her life.

In the end she then flips it towards Achilles for him to sign in. "It's fine, can do it from here. And yes, it's a SHIELD tablet, so no worries about being hacked.." she tells him. "And the sooner the better. These guys normally don't act alone. If we get access to information on his funds we can trace it." she explains. "I can do it on the fly." a look to Drew. "And she can vouch I won't take more info than the one you give me access to." then a look back to Achilles. "I saw you helping Drew taking on that guy outside. You seem to be able to handle yourself rather well."

Achilles has posed:
Nodding his head, Achilles reaches for the tablet, and logs in with a quick few keystrokes. His password? Well, he's not gonna tell! Plus, it changes like weekly anyway. He understands at least the basic concepts of data security.
Either way, he hands the tablet back over and says, "There is all of the documentation that we have on that particular client. I ordered it all collected into a single file folder in anticipation of you needing to access it." A pause, "As for the latter part, there is a reason that I would like to speak to you and yours in a more private location. It has nothing to do with the nature of those files."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
In Daisy's ear Bobbi asks, "Do you believe his story, that he didn't know Pierre was a bad client? how many other clients like this does he have? Do you want to keep him close, try and get a read on him. Let's take him to see Pierre with us, see how he reacts around his supposed ex-client." Yes, she's trying to get Daisy to dig the way she would, it's a great opportunity. She's has the perfect opportunity to practice her skills of manipulation.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"How thoughtful.." Daisy replies about that file being easy to download. She does just that, collecting it to her tablet and then signing off. No need to hack! She nods at the mention of a private location to discuss. "Come on then. We can talk on the way." a look to the window then and she offers a slight nod. Perhaps in answer to Bobbi's question.

"Have you had any clients in the past that weren't on the up and up with you?" she questions. Perhaps to check on the man's experience on dealing with this sort of situation. And yes, she drains that smoothie off. No way she will waste a damn good one.

Achilles has posed:
"Of course we have." offers Achilles. "One does not work in my business without ne'er do-wells trying to take advantage. There is a reason why I set up regulations about what sorts of clients we are allowed to take. And a reason why I sacked the manager responsible for that case. I do not oversee every case in our company, at least not initially or unless something gets... dodgy."
He stands up and gestures for the lady to preceed him. "After you ma'am." he offers. "But, to get back to the point, I try to insure that if anyone attempts to utilize my company for criminal endeavors, that we are not involved, and if possible, I reach out to law enforcement myself the moment I have reason to believe that they may not be on the level."
He sighs and shakes his head, "York should have done a complete background check before accepting payment for the job." But he follows either way, waiting for privacy to... spill the beans, so to speak.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi says, "Don't nod in my direction. He's aware I'm here most likely, but don't confirm it, or my direction." Daisy has gotten so much better at this sort of thing, "Walk with him to the hospital. I'll meet you there." Outside, the rumble of a motorcycle engine starts and she rides down the block. "Figure out if he's friend or foe."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Do you know what level 4 agents do? Specially those without fancy flying cars or motobikes to drive them everywhere? They WALK. And that's what Daisy starts to do, making her way down the street. It's not exactly that far. Perhaps it will take them a few minutes to reach their destination.

"That sounds legit. Okay. And you know Drew as well, so she can vouch for you as well." she muses while she walks, and also feeding info to Bobbi.

"What do you think you could do with SHIELD though?" her hands slip into her pockets, glancing over to the man while they walk.

Achilles has posed:
"To be honest, I've no idea. But... I -do- have quite a bit of experience." he offers. He doesn't specify what that experience may be with. Just.. experience. "The truth is, there is more to everything than appears upon the surface. There -are- no coincidences."
He is following in his high class business suit like he was just out for an afternoon stroll. "Rather than repeating myself, and divulging information in an unsecure location, I would rather answer your question more fully when we arrive where we are headed."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
In her ear Bobbi teases, "Wow this guy really wants to get along with you." She drives around the block and sees the hospital ahead, "You know what, he's so desperate to talk to us alone, I'll go set up an interview room in the east wing, floor 3." She rides ahead weaving through the traffic like a level 7 who has a motorbike to take her everywhere.

At the hospital, she parks and takes out her badge. She lets her hair down and wanders in to the security offices. "Agent Morse, SHIELD. I'm going to need you to turn off the cameras in room 317, thanks." This is more common than they'd like to admit. Bobbi heads to floor three and goes into room 17. She re-arranges the furniture in preparation and sets up a jammer, then sits and waits for them to arrive.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Running a security company isn't exactly the same as being out on the field though? I mean, you seem good enough where it comes to management..." And Daisy is able to say that without making a face. Worst part of the job. Management. She much prefered being out there, or huddled away hacking. Leadership skills was something she was still developping. Step by step.

"It isn't far..." And indeed it isn't. They are arriving, making their way into the hospital. A gesture, they move in through the lobby. Exchanging a few words with the nurse there. Yep, room 317.

"We will be able to talk here. Private." She opens the door to the office where Bobbi awaits.

Achilles has posed:
Merely shrugging his shoulders at the comments about management and leadership, Achilles just follows along. Before entering the hospital, he looks up at the building and comments, "What an unexpected place to serve as a base of operations." he says with the hint of a smirk.
But then he follows inside, and up to the third floor. Once shown in, he nods his head to the woman there. "Good evening ma'am." he says in that lightly accented voice of his. And then studying the room, he selects the chair that appears to be positions for the person to -be- questioned might be seated. "So, perhaps I should start at the beginning. The explanation is far stranger than the fiction that has been written about it. Let me assure you. But.." he smirks a bit, "I expect you to be skeptical at first anyway."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi smiles as he wanders in and takes a seat. "Please to meet you. I've been hearing so much about you recently." She nods to Daisy and takes off her leather jacket. She's lifts an eyebrow at his way of introduction, "Ah I love a good story." She motions to the empty table before them, "Please enlighten me. Daisy if you'd be so good as to follow the money?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"On it." Daisy replies with a brief grin given at Bobbi, closing the door behind them with a foot and that 'click' that locks it. Privacy. She fishes out her tablet and settles in against a corner of the room. Standing up. She does all her best hacks standing! So she busies herself tapping furiously on her tablet, first inspecting the files they downloaded, skimming through the files and towards the financial records.

"In SHIELD the line between fiction and reality is very ..., thin." she comments just before she gets on focusing on her own work. "Now let's do some magic.." she whispers.

Achilles has posed:
"Speaking of magic. I mentioned that I have a lot of experience... running a security company is just one in a plethora of experiences I have had in my... unusually long life." offers Achilles. "But, for the story I must begin with... Once upon a time. A mother worried that her son would die young, and so she concocted a method to make him impervious to harm. You see, her father was a god of the sea. So she had some knowledge that was... beyond mortal ken."
A pause, and he shrugs, "She herself was a minor goddess of the sea, but she married the King of a land named Pthia. They had a son, who was the prince of that land, but whose father feared him. Hence the whole... attempt to make him immune to harm. But.. nothing of this went quite the way it was intended to go. And the son grew up, and as he grew, his legend grew... mostly out of control and far too wide. To the point that all of the land looked to him to win every war that they fought. They put the weight of every success on his shoulders and eventually... war and glory was too much and he let the world -think- that he had died. That he had one weakness... in of all places, the heel."
That said, he stands and bows, "Now, you can believe me or not believe me. But my name is Achilles, prince of Pthia... and I cannot die."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi chuckles a moment and gives him a side long glance. "For a moment there, with all that talk of sea gods I thought you were going to tell me you're Atlantian. Achilles? with the heel." She lifts an eyebrow and smiles. "Well, I'm not entirely sure how that changes the conversation much.. even with proof. But I'll take your word for it for now if you'll allow me to do some background checks on your claim?"

The money - goes interesting places. You find three other security firms who have hired people using the same credit card, which is registered to a Harriet Faux. There's no record of any one by that name, but the purchase history flows out before you. The card came in to operation a few months ago and has been purchasing hotel rooms, personal security, rental cars, expensive meals. There seems to be quite a balance on the funds. There seems to be an 'operative' in Gotham, Metropolis and New York City.. or, two in New York City, as you notice there are two different security firms under payroll here - one for Pierre and one for somebody else.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
When Achilles goes on about introducing himself that brings a rather dubious look out of Daisy. But well, she -has- met a God of Fear so ..., would it be such a stretch? And the man seems sure enough that maybe he is not lying. Maybe! She will let Bobbi make sure of it.

Her focus is instead on tracking the money. "Mmm, Harriet Faux. Rings a bell?" leave it to Bobbi to know all the bad guys!

"I am finding connections out through ..., here, Metropolis and Gotham. This account has been used extensively. And still running high on funds. They hired a different company for whoever else is working with Pierre though."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi shakes her head to Daisy, "No sorry the name doesn't ring any bells. It sounds fake though," she says with a wink, tapping the side of her nose. "May be Pierre can tell us about Harriet Faux. He is two floors up after all." She says to Achilles, "It sort of sounds to me like you're ready to start winning wars again, or just getting your toes a little wet?"
