Warren Worthington has posed:
For a Thursday evening, the Lily Anne's Lounge has a decent crowd in it. There's a string of old time-y jazz tunes being sung, songs that Warren couldn't say the names of if his life depended on it. Still, it was like being in a gangster film of sorts, and that alone was cool. Having already arrived, he made sure to grab a small table for he and Ali. He's already gotten himself a drink, water, to sip on while he awaits the arrival of Alison.

There's a small bzzt on his phone and he looks he down at it, chuckles at something sent to him, then turns it over and watches the singer sing their song, head bobbing slightly to the tunes.

Alison Blaire has posed:
Running a little behind-because New York traffic, Alison hustles in with a simple black dress on and a tan London Fog trench coat with simple heels. The blond trots as she enters the Lounge. At the door, she pauses and puts a hand to her chest for a moment. Looking about, she scans the club and spots Warren. Easing her coat off she heads that way. Leaning over, she kisses his cheek and reaches for a seat. "Hi Handsome, sorry about the wait."

Warren Worthington has posed:
Warren's expression brightens when he spots Alison approaching. "Ali!" He greets her, smiling at the kiss and quickly kissing her cheek in return. "Oh, nothing to worry about. Traffic is traffic, and this city will never change. So how was your day? Meeting more people who are interesting and exciting?" A waitress arrives at the table and asks for their orders. "Let me get a Dry Martini and an Aperol Spritz." He gestures to Ali, "And what will you start the evening off with my dear?"

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Templeton Rye, on the rocks." Alison asks and sets her coat over the back of her chair as she settles in. Looking to Warren, she grins cheerfully. "Not since Singularity, no." Her eyes crinkle warmly. "Apparently, we're friends on another Earth. She's certainly like no one I've ever met." Crossing one leg over the other, she looks Warren over. "Suits. I only ever want to get you out of them."

Warren Worthington has posed:
Warren watches the waitress walk off with their order and then turns back to Alison, grinning. "Well, now that you have revealed such a secret, I may wear suits every day. If only to encourage you further." He winks and leans forward a little. "Singularity eh? I've not heard of them before. Do they live here in New York? And friends on another Earth? That sounds... interesting." He tilts his head a little and blinks. "Trying to imagine what another me would be like is hard. Would I be as pure as the driven snow and a good, sweet lad or would I be the same lovable fellow that I am now?"

Alison Blaire has posed:
Alison's eyes slide over Warren. "Hmm. Scoundrel." She chides and grins warmly. Settling back in her seat she considers. "If you were a sweet boy I'd still date you." The singer's tone warm and cheerful. "So I was apparently what she called Dazzler Thor and threw around lasers and crazy things like that. I think it shocked her that I'm no hero here."

Warren Worthington has posed:
"I guess I'll have to meet with this Singularity and ask about alternate-Warren and see what sort of terror that rapscallion is, but your words do warm my heart." Warren puts a hand over his chest and smiles. The waitress returns with their drinks and departs once more. He picks up his martini and looks her over. "Hrm. Dazzler-Thor. An interesting idea, though I do like the idea of you being all heroic. Blasting baddies with cool lasers and stuff. Though even if you decided not to be and remained the greatest popstar on earth, I'd still totally dig you."

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Who says I can't have both? I was talking to Henry about some training like, last week. I haven't started yet-exactly, but there's no reason I can't give it a try." Alison admits and gives Warren a wink as she picks up her glass and takes a slow sip. "If Singularity thinks I'm some powerful mutant, why not find out for myself? And if I'm not-all the more reason to date an Angel."

Warren Worthington has posed:
"You could! And I would certainly -love- to see you get into a uniform." Warren taps his chin and nods, his eyes moving down her form before moving back up to meet her gaze. "We could get you something worked up by a top tier designer. I mean, you'll look good no matter what, but it's about making a -statement-, wouldn't you agree?" He takes a sip of his drink and nods. "I think no matter what, that's a good enough reason to date an Angel, but that's just where I'm coming from. I'm all for you testing yourself though, and seeing what you're truly capable of. I think it's awesome."

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Thanks!" Alison smiles and lifts her chin a bit at the once over. "Making a statement is where my lights come in! But I suppose you can wear something chic and protect yourself these days." Holding her glass, she works on it slowly. "You look like it was a working day. All well with the company?" She asks and leans lightly against the table so she can focus on Warren. She lets a bit of her hair fall over an eye, playing up the noir aesthetic in the club.

Warren Worthington has posed:
"Oh, yes indeed! Chic combat wear is -all- the rage these days." Warren says before he takes another sip. At her question he nods, "All is well, and I really only worked in the morning. Then I spent some time just kind of doing some research for my costume for the masquerade as well as some ideas for things I want to shop for. I can't imagine walking from store to store to store like they did in the old days, the internet is so awesome."

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Oh! Did you want to go to that? We should should support Emmers." Alison considers a bit and sips from her glass slowly. Looking towards the dance floor she tilts her head towards it. "Wanna sway a little?" She offers. "Can't hurt to get in a little practice." The singer offers her hand to Warren where they sit.

Warren Worthington has posed:
"Of course! A night that is specifically designed to come up with some wild costume idea and have fun? Yeah! Count me in." Warren follows her eyes as she looks towards the dance floor, grins and nods. "Sure, let's get our groove on, my dear Alison." He takes her hand, letting his thumb glide over the top of her hand. "Lead on!" He stands and lets her take the lead.

Alison Blaire has posed:
Drawing in a soft breath at the touch, Alison looks up into Warren's eyes and smiles. Leading him out onto the dance floor, she sets one of his hands at her lower back, while her hand goes to his shoulder. Holding his free hand in hers, she leans in so they're toe to toe. It's an easy, lazy sway. A rocking side to side with the smallest, gradual turn to their steps. Getting them started she leans her cheek against his chest and asks "What did you have in mind for the Masq then? From your excitement it's bound to be dramatic."

Warren Worthington has posed:
Returning her smile, Warren lets her lead him to the dance floor and guide his hands into position before swaying with her in the dance, for a moment letting the music seep into his being while he is close to her. There's the temptation to close his eyes, but her murmured question has him look down and kiss the top of her head. "Hrm... do I dare share the secrets that are floating around in my devious mind?" He lets the question linger between them for a few moments before answering. "I'll give you a hint, how about that? It has to do with a certain fallen angel, and duality."

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Oh? Are we meant to surprise each other then?" Alison wonders and smiles. Swaying, she enjoys the sound of jazz and the comfortable feeling of being so close to Warren. Giving his hand a squeeze she chuckles softly. "Perhaps I'll dabble in a bit of mythology for my inspiration." She considers in a playful tone. "Will you be offering apples at the ball?"

Warren Worthington has posed:
"That's a lot of the fun, I think! Though if you wanted to do something in the same theme, we could probably coordinate a bit." Warren considers the theme for a few moments, his hand on her back pressing her a little more against him. "I'm not sure what could go with Lucifer though, but I can do some googling later. Mythological sounds cool too. Some Greek goddess of music or maybe Aphrodite? That'd be kind of hot." He lets out a soft laugh, "Apples? Maybe. I hadn't considered it, but it might be worth doing."

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Well, if you're hell bound. Why not Hades and I could be Persephone?" Alison suggests, standing closer to him and wrapping her arm about the back of his neck. "Though a muse of music could be interesting." She admits after a moment. Lifting her cheek off his chest she looks up at Warren. "Then again, perhaps I'll be the angel for the evening?" Teasing as she stands on her toes to steal a quick kiss on the dance floor.

Warren Worthington has posed:
"You just want me to wear a toga." Warren says, his voice light and teasing. "To be honest, I've already had a suit specially tailored for this, it's being worked on and will be finished soon. It is... something, and you are partly to blame for inspiring me, for being my muse." He smiles down at her and lets her steal that kiss, leaning into it a little to offer affection of his own towards her. "Mmm, yes, you can if you'd like. My darling little angel who I will desperately try and offer temptation."

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Oh no! You mustn't! I won't fall like you, my tempter." Alison bats her eyes at Warren before chuckling a little and leaning her head against his chest again. "I'm getting pretty good at holograms. Some light wings and a whispy, cloud like dress? I could be an angel." As they sway together one song fades into another and she helps him find the new rhythm. "I am curious about this suit now."

Warren Worthington has posed:
"You say that now, but..." Warren trails off and waggles his brows just a little before she puts her head against his chest once more. "Listen, Ali, there is no way on earth I am going to dissuade you from wearing a wispy cloud dress. Nope, I am fully on board with you putting on such attire. And the light wings? That sounds awesome, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I already know you can make the prettiest feathers." He grins at her, lifting the hand on her back up to gently brush back some of her hair, then returning it to where it was before. "You know me. Italian designers, all fancy and stuff. I may want to search out another piece of jewelry to complete it though. Maybe I'll get a bracelet with 'Dazzler's' on it."

Alison Blaire has posed:
Snorting, Alison looks up at Warren. "If that's what knocks your socks off. Some how Dazzler's makes me think of Sizzler's, and steak though." She crinkles her eyes and shakes her hair down her back with a toss of her head. "Should I get some little angle wings on a necklace then?" She goes to lace her fingers with his in the hands they hold as they dance slowly.

Warren Worthington has posed:
Warren can't help but laugh at that, breaking into a giggle fit that disrupts their dance for a few moments while he lets it out. "Oh.. oh that's too good. Oh shit. I didn't even think of that, oh god." He giggles some more before leaning in and kissing her forehead, then returns to the dance. "You could! I wouldn't say no to that, though I think what might work better for you is a necklace that has a lot of little, uh, are they called charms on a necklace? Whatever. Little music notes made out of different colored gemstones."

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Oh. That would be cute. I wonder if they make charms like that!" Alison smiles and looks up at Warren. "So you aren't just a pretty face." She teases with a wink. She's still smiling, enjoying his laughter and cozying back up to him. "We should get back to our table. Your martini will have lost it's chill by now." She's less concerned for her drink, it had ice.

Warren Worthington has posed:
"Oh, with all of the technology and tools available these days, I don't see why such things couldn't be custom made. I have to believe that when you glow a little, it will certainly sparkle and shine." Warren meets her gaze and grins. "Sometimes I use my upper brain, I know it's hard to believe." He pulls her close to him again, kisses the side of her head lightly and murmurs. "We can go finish our drinks if you'd like, but I'm content to stay close to you like this for a little longer."

Alison Blaire has posed:
"I could see about having some jewelry special made." Alison agrees and lets him hold her close a while longer. "Do we have plans post drinks tonight? A walk about the city?" She suggests softly. "Would your legs mind the effort, Feathers?" Teasing softly before nodding to the table.

Warren Worthington has posed:
"A walk? A waaaaaaaalllk?" Warren draws out the word while looking at her with a mocked shock expression. "Sparkles, Sparkles, Sparkles." He lets out a sigh. "Yes, we can go for a walk, and once we are done we can go back to my place for a night cap?" He asks, his lips coming close to her ear to murmur the question. Softly kissing her cheek, he holds an arm out for her to take. "But first, shall we be off on that walk? I promise you more drinks later at least, and it might be nice to stretch out my legs for a stroll." Smiling to her, he leads her towards the exit.
