Emma Frost has posed:
Having hired upon Gabby to spend some time over with her as bodyguard, the routine had turne dinto Emma would go somewhere to handle affairs, Gabby would go with her as tough girl.. And Emma would in turn cover all o fher food expenses and whimsies.

ALL OF THEM.

On this evening, Emma had gotten ahold of that trickster-associate o fher's.. "There's someone I think that you would be amused to meet."

Gabby Kinney has posed:
As she tended to do when she was in bodyguard mode, Gabby was actually dressed especially well for the part. No custom handmade dress this time as she had in Gotham, but a more comfortable and familiar outfit that at least matched very well with the club. Leather pants that could be described as 'painted on' along with a pair of wedge heeled boots to add a little height while not losing any stability of footing. A faux-leather corset tanktop, and doe skin half-gloves that only covered up to the back of her palms. All in black, save for the laces of the boots which were a colorful splash of magenta intertwined with cobalt blue.

"A friend?" She inquires absently, or so it would seem, while paying attention to what Emma says. At least this time she doesn't order a mountain of food fit for Amazons (there were Amazons last time, that's perfectly normal) but instead some chicken skewers with an array of dipping sauces, and a tall drink of ... something fizzy.

Sprite has posed:
Sprite makes her own arrival. She's worn all different types of clothing at the Hellfire Club, but since she doesn't know what Emma has in mind for her, she's keeping things quite generic. To wit, today is the classic little black dress. Mid-thigh, 4" black stilettos, black hose. Jewelry is tasteful and understated in an elegant way. Her hair today is longer than usual; more of a shoulder bob than her normal close cut. She walks in, making her way over through the crowd to the the other two.

A smile quirks her lips when she sees Gabby, and she gives the girl that same smile. "Hey...didn't expect to see you here!" And then to Emma, a nod. "Miss Frost. You rang?" she says, looking over at the blonde.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would smile, "Oh, you two have met? Lovely. I thought you might make enjoyable acquaintances. A pleausre then. Do join us." She would gesture over and smile. "Always a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I just was thinking I hadn't seen you in awhile and should remedy this. And see whatever sorts of shenanigans that you had been up to in that time."

Shenanigans? Was that really the right way to put it? "Feel free to get yourself more, Gabrielle. I don't mind."

Gabby Kinney has posed:
The look of familiarity that flits over Gabby's face is obvious. She did indeed know Sprite. The little bite she'd taken a moment ago is gulped down, and a quick swipe of a napkin over her lips cleans her up. Because she's mannered, dammit. "Sprite! Hey been awhile. You still hang at Mercy's? I need to catch up with her, too."

Emma's introduction just gets an eyebrow raise as well as an 'oh really?' look. She knew the woman knew they knew each other okay that was getting confusing. Still, she was a telepath, she was sure she had her tricks. "Yeah we run in similar circles sometimes. As for here..." Her hands spread out in a little shrug indicating the club in general. "I used to come pretty frequently when I was younger, as a plus one to someone. Been awhile. I'm okay with what snacks I've got right now, Emma, but thanks. ... I *am* taking some of that cheesecake home though. Legitimate cheesecake not euphism."

Sprite has posed:
Sprite smiles a little. "Oh, I don't "hang" anywhere. I'm everywhere. Most recently I've been in Gotham a bit. But that's just me giving people interesting challenges. I'm surprised you don't get the same type of idiocy I do here about how young you look." She rolls her eyes overdramatically. "But what have YOU been up to?"

She looks to Emma. "I'll have some literal cheesecake, myself. I love a good dessert. And if the Hellfire Club is lacking in metaphorical eye candy of either sex, someone's been slacking on recruiting."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would ah, "I see. So what sorts of things have you been up to, if one might inquire? I do find Gotham to be a bit too broody as a city. They could stand to lighten up a bit. But say that as an outsider and they just permanently glare at you. And I've heard a great many things about Mercy. I should perhaps go to the trouble of meeting her someday." Emma would turn to Gabby.

"Why, I didn't know you had it in you, Gabby. Are you starting to mellow now in your old age?"

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney lifts her eyebrows in turn only to point at Sprite when she clarifies, "New York cheesecake. I'm mellow, too!" She points out with just a hint of whine to her voice that was put there for comedic effect. It never hurt to poke fun at herself on occasion as well. "I've got a boyfriend and a girlfriend to think about, anyway, so no taking any persons home." There's ap ause as her smile grows just a bit sly. "He's a speedster. Quick recovery."

Sprite has posed:
"Challenging Poison Ivy to see if she can come up with a design for carbon-negative mass-market housing." Sprite giggles. Not too different from when she challenged Mercy to make her the ultimate car. "Mercy's great. Fun to mess with. PROBABLY distantly related...at least metaphorically." Sprite shrugs. "And look at you being all pro-sexuality, Gabby. You go, girl."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would laugh, "That sounds like an interesting challenge. I do think that she'll pursue it if it's in her interests." Ivy, at least. Her chuckling at Gabby. "They make you happy, that is all that's important. And I Hope your.. Other situation has resolved itself." She would ask gently as the topic of 'romance' came up.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney actually does blush a bit. It might be hard to tell in the dim light of the club, but at Sprite's congratulations she does while giving a broader grin. It's quickly hidden by another nibble off her chicken skewer dipped this time in a bit of thai peanut sauce. "Mmm!" A little happy wiggle occurs in her seat before she recalls she's there for BIDNESS and stills herself. "Ah, yes, well. We're all happy so far. It's nice having people to go home to." Emma even get sa nod as well at the question. "Yeah, I spoke to him. He's as okay with it as he can be. Though I apparently have a standing open invitation if I ever feel like cheating." Maybe she shouldn't babble so much. "Other than that it's been kind of... Not bad on my end of things, lately."

At least, mostly. She actually pauses to regard the plate in front of her a long moment. "Had to officially finally move out of the school."

Sprite has posed:
"I haven't managed anything in the way of a serious relationship. So far, nothing better than a friends with benefits situation. Which is still something. Getting too attached to people can be messy for me anyway." She gets a wry grin, and then teases. "I would need someone like Gabby, at the very least." She gives a side-wink to Emma, enjoying teasing Gabby a bit.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would 'ah' over at Sprite, "Well enough." That bit is filed away later - not that she considers it particularly important. For all she knows it could have been decades, if not centuries ago. She had a very faint idea of how old Sprite was. And what would pass for recent for a human most certainly did not have to mean the same to an Eternal.

"I'm glad that you've found happiness with one another and that you have.. Alternative options as well. Normally such offers take time to arrange." Emma would deadpan over and glance at Gabby. "I can have a few extra cheesecakes prepared and sent home with you if you would like>"

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney makes a noise that's like shock, gasp, embarassment, and other things at Sprite's remark and she takes a light playful swat at her shoulder in turn. A quick gulp of her drink is taken before she risks speaking again. "Ahem! Right, well, if it's long lived you're looking for I could point you to a guy if you don't mind them very large. Like physically." Red faced she pounces on Emma's remark, "Yes please that'd be great! Tommy will love that. Bunny too."

Sprite has posed:
Sprite grins. "Oh, it's fun to watch you people change colors. And yes, long-lived is a requirement for any kind of a relationship. None of you have any real context for how old I am, but let's just say really, really old. And everyone is large compared to me, Gabby. YOU are taller than I am." She says, a little bitterly.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma only has a few light ideas of Sprite's age - mostly from that one time she was able to dive over into her head ever so deep when Sprite wasn't aware of what she could do. "More than happy to have them readied. As a matter of fact.. I do know a couple of local bakeries. Give me your favorites and I'll have them spend a couple of shifts making them to have ready for you." Two bakeries working eight hour shifts making only cheesecake?

Gabby Kinney has posed:
"Well, yes, and it's a nice change of pace not being the shortest," Gabby admits only to add, "Bunny's about your height though. So I guess you're not the shortest shortest anymore." A wink is given to her friend before she hums thoughtfully. "Sure Dad isn't one of you guys? I mean he's Ooold as heck."

Any further thought on that topic is cast aside at Emma's offer. She blinks slowly a time or two, and draws a deep breath. "That would be awesome, but also not really necessary. Right now at least." There might be a time he'd over exherted and needed to just EAT, she has to admit. "But I'll send a list of some things. He likes baking too. As a hobby."

Sprite has posed:
"Really? That's impressive. Or lacking impressive. So who's this long-lived person, Gabby?" She looks over to Emma. "Honestly, I should probably pick your brain on that too. Knowing the other immortals is always handy. Or the other long-lifers." Because to her, even "immortal" usually isn't.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would watch back and forth, "From my understanding your.. Father is practically an infant compared to them." She would deadpan over from those things she had sorted about in the mind of Logan and in Sprite.

Then looking back over to Gabby with vague amusement. "Do continue on." Laughing at the description of cheesecakes.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney hums thoughtfully. "Ever heard of The Juggernaut? Not the nicest guy at times but we're friends." Ah yes but... cheesecakes.
